The staff were great, and the room itself was pretty nice. I found a few things frustrating though:

1. Parking at the hotel costs 16 euros per day. Seems a little high for the area, but fair enough. The annoying part was that every time I needed to pay for parking, I had to bring my ticket into reception and pay at the front desk. Would be much easier to come and go if there was a pay machine in the garage.

2. Room cleaning: In the name of sustainability, they waited a full 7 days before servicing my room. I don't need fresh towels every day, but it would be nice to at least empty the (very small) trash bins once every few days.

3. Light switches: There were literally ten buttons on the wall. One of them was a light switch, and the rest did random things like open the shutters, switch off all the lights, and I don't even know what else because they were odd icons with no words. But when it's dark and you don't know which button to press, I needed a flashlight just to see which button turns the lights on. Annoying.

4. Radio in bathroom: Every time you turn the light on in the bathroom (another annoying switch), there is a radio in the wall that switches on automatically. Please switch it off by default.

This hotel was not as expected though I believe that was my mistake not the establishments. During my search for a hotel, I asked for Stuttgart Central. This was interpreted as Si Central, a theatre area in Stuttgart, which was in fact a good 25 minute car journey from central Stuttgart. It was only a 10 minute ride from the airport, but it was a dissapointing shock. Also not expected was that the hotel was really a set of 4 rather ugly individual high rise blocks containing individual suites. Unless you were in the first block you had quite a stroll, outside in the elements, walking amongst a concrete jungle to reach your block and the lifts. My sister, who has walking difficulties was in a suite on her own on one level, whilst my daughter and I were on a level below, which made my sister feel a bit insecure, so we had to escort her to her level first before going to our own suite - all suites were accessed from the outside corridor which reminded us of student accommodation. The suites themselves were fantastic though. They were huge, immaculate, comfortable, and serviced well with a kettle and tea/coffee etc. The bathroom was fantastic, roomy with a wonderland shower. You could not fault the rooms at all and we spent a very comfortable night in them. Also fantastic were the staff who were friendly, professional and warm. The bar area in the first block was buzzing with activity and the bar staff were exceptional.

Nice big place but was hard to navigate to at first. The address didn't take you into the complex. I did not like the self check-in. There's a person there just do it. Keep at it and there won't be any front desk staff soon at all. The room was very spacious, the shower gorgeous.

Good facilities but service needs improvement

The suite room itself was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. The only downside was that there is no driveway in front of the hotel, very difficult to walk from P2 parking to the hotel front due to the lack of signs. Parking fees were also paid for at the machine each time we leave the parking lot. There was a big Smart TV in the room, but it didn't have an internet connection. No Youtube or video through mobile in the big screen. I reported this to the front desk, but nothing was done. I knew about towel changes beforehand, but they were only changed once every four days, so I had to use them carefully during my stay. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and a few dishes; no knives, pots, heaters or extractor fans are provided, so we could only prepare food that can be heated in the microwave.

It’s absolutely amazing!! Everything from A-to-Z. Very, very clean. Best breakfast ever. I highly recommended to all. The stuff are super friendly. Specially, the folks at the bar. Good drinks, good food, friendly people are always there to be surrounded by. Specially, the 2 bartender are the best. Nhu & Peter. I had some drinks and pizza for dinner. These guys are so nice 👍 and they take of me and all other customers!!!

Not worth the price

People talked in the park all hours of the night, air conditioner was being repaired all month, smoking was allowed on balcony so our room was filled with cigarette smoke.
The breakfast also wasnt very good, especially for the price.

The staff however is mostly fantastic. All the employees in the main building are very nice and welcoming.
Its too bad the overall facility has gone down hill.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. While check in we had a difficult time finding the parking since it is on the other side, and parking at T3 is very important since if you park at T2, walking with the luggage is difficult. The elevator was spoilt when we checked out and had to carry the luggage down the stairs. Very peaceful and good area and overall stay was comfortable.

Stylish Apartment with all Mod Cons

The hotel comprises of different blocks where your accommodation is a modern apartment. We had a ground floor with patio. Others have balconies. Main building has reception, bar which serves snacks , breakfast area. Si suites appear to be on a purpose built complex with other hotels, cinema, theatre and restaurants including an Irish bar - the Dubliner which serve’s Irish fare. Accommodation has all mod cons, to in each room including the bathroom. Everything can be controlled by keypads, lights, curtains etc. Impressive.

I almost always stay at SI Suites when I travel to Stuttgart. The main reason is because of Peter and his bartending staff. They make you feel at home. When you meet the regulars that go there, there's a real sense of being welcome. Also Jeff is exceptional as well.

Once i was there the guy was a dick and questioned why i did not bring a towel. Thankfully i could put him in place with my german - however could be uncomfortable to someone not speaking the language.

Rooms are okay, a but dates tho and very basic... Beds are soft and this is more like an apartment instead of a hotel. Only one lift per building and parking is also an issue.

Wonderful Hotel!

This hotel was great! Really nice features and roomy. The staff at the front desk was great and really accommodating. We ate breakfast every morning there at the hotel because the food was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Stuttgart. The only down side was that it wasn’t close to the city center.

The beautiful, modern suite that we occupied was a large, one-bedroom apartment that included a kitchenette. No air condition though, but a fan was provided. Tons of space, well laid out, convenient to the U-bahn, casino, spa, and some food options. EXCELLENT bartenders (say hi to Peter who makes amazing drinks). Would have liked more basic toiletries for the price (like conditioner and lotion- they had some hair/body wash in the shower, but nothing else), and the kitchen was nice with fridge and microwave but had no stove or any way to clean the dishes.

Disappointing all around.

The hotel is far more tired than appears on the website or Expedia. The room I stayed in 705 in building B looks like it was last updated in the early 1980's. It wa large but very dated. The bar has one or two menu items only. I had the pizza which must have been frozen not fresh.

Also note that the address on Expedia is correct for the hotel but the only dive in entrance is in a very different area via a parking garage off the motorway. I spent considerable time trying to get to the hotel. I called the hotel and they guided me in via phone.

Despite my overall negative review the staff are excellent - from the woman in reservations who guided me to the garge on the phone to the front desk and the very friendly woman serving in the bar this is a good group.

Not what I thought we booked

This is the worst hotel I have ever booked! Not in Stuttgart at all and horrible decor! Not the new rooms you see on the website. It is an area that people go to see plays and theater productions not for travelers who want to be in the middle of the city. Also the worst part it was it was 45mins to the Porsche museum and that was our main reason for going. Would not recommend for people who want to be part of the culture while traveling.

Der Aufenthalt scheiterte nicht an Kleinigkeiten, sondern am System: Frühstück glich täglichem Chaos, viel zu wenig Platz für viel zu viele Gäste. Abends setzte sich das fort – trotz bemühtem Barkeeper kein Drink möglich, am Ende ging es ernüchtert ohne Absacker ins Bett, während der Aufzug auch nach zehn Minuten nicht kam. Als Gast willst du entspannen, nicht warten, ausweichen oder verzichten. Unterm Strich fehlt es hier an durchdachten Abläufen – ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen und rate klar zu einer besser organisierten Alternative.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, Tassen und Gläser eher nicht. Der Zugang zu den Zimmern ist schräg, um nicht fragwürdig zu sagen. Die Zimmer selbst sind aber groß, hell, hübsch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, sowohl in Qualität als auch in Auswahl. Allerdings war um 9:00 die Schlange um einen Tisch zu bekommen bis fast auf die Straße, das hätten wir uns dann nicht angetan...(es lohnt hier wirklich, Frühaufsteher zu sein)

Die Suite war ganz ok, die Duschtüre war undicht und es hat muffig gerochen, war wohl längere Zeit nicht bewohnt. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, aber offensichtlich am Abend etwas überfordert. Es war am Abend im Service praktisch nur ein Mädel tätig, zeitweise von einem jungen Mann unterstützt. Was allerdings garnicht geht, ist die Weinauswahl, da wurden gerade mal 2 Weiß- und 1 Rotwein angeboten, die es glasweise oder als Flasche gab. Ein Brut wurde garnicht angeboten. In der Online-Karte war überhaupt kein Flaschenwein verzeichnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und ausreichend und zum Frühstück war auch der Service mit mehr Personal ausgestattet. Für eine Nacht neben \"We will rock you\" war das in Ordnung, wir würden aber dort ohne den Musicalbesuch nicht übernachten. Das ist aber immer eine Frage des Betrachters und wir sind bessere Unterkünfte gewohnt.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern. Perfekt für einen Musical Besuch. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten sehr viel Platz. Parkplätze gibt es genügend, allerdings sind diese teilweise sehr eng und besonders mit großen / breiten Autos kann man Platzprobleme bekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und bietet eine große Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Das besondere ist, dass es sich um ein unverpacktes Buffet handelt und die meisten Speisen keine Verpackung haben. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
