This is an affordable option. The room rate is low, and the $2 Turbus to the terminal next door to the hotel will save you $20 compared to the cost of an airport taxi.

A bonus: the reception staff was especially friendly.

As a budget option, the Nobile Inn doesn't offer luxury. I was warned about safety in the neighborhood at night, but I only went out during the day. On balance, this hotel is more than adequate for frugal travelers.

Although we found the room quite small for a family of three it was still very comfortable. We liked that there were stores and restaurants nearby and our toddler was fascinated with the view from the window.

When it comes to Location, this hotel is a prize winner. It’s located bang next to the Turbus bus station; And a couple of minutes walk To the metro station. Cheap transportation sorted. Staff are lovely. The room however wasn’t all great: very tiny and oldish! But I stayed only a night.

Stayed here overnight for a long layover. Check in process was easy. There is a restaurant and mini snack bar on site. Super close to bus station. 15 minute car ride to airport. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable.

This iBis hotel is recommendable for two reasons: (1) it is 24-hour staffed; and (2) it is centrally located near all transportation points including long-distance bus centers and a metro station (which gives you access to downtown Santiago with just one metro ride. As such, if you happen to fly in to Santiago as a staging area for your next trip to Valparaiso to board your cruise ship, you are at the right spot. Most importantly, the hotel takes good care of your luggage storage needs with a on-site security guard.

Think before booking

Very close to estacion central, so we thought that would be ideal but we were warned by everyone who knows Chile to avoid the area, especially at night but also by day, as it can be very unsafe. We cancelled but couldn't get any refund or voucher for another Ibis so we booked another hotel near Las Leones, accessible easily with Uber and much more suitable for a family with a little one. Nothing is worth risking our belongings and safety.

We couldn't make it due to delays with our flight from Cuba to Panama and from Panama to Santiago.
I sent an email to the hotel informing them about it.
The hotel staff never returned with a response or contacted me again.
We made it at the end by 5.30 am on the next day.
Door and shutters were closed and nobody to contact .
Very disappointed as I still got charged full price for something I never used with my family.
Definitely,I won't recommend or use for future staying in Santiago.

This is not a safe area to stay in. You can watch people attempting to pickpocket and car jack from your hotel window. The staff are friendly, there is one front desk lady that does not care to be there nor does she want to be there.

A group of approx 20 arrived from airport at about 8:30 am and we told we had to wait for a 3 pm check in or pay for an early check in . With no amenities there and being in an unsafe area of town after 20 - 24 hours of travelling , needless to say we were very disappointed . Our room particularly was dirty . I washed all services down before unpacking . No instructions, no local advertising , no phone , no coffee , no fridge , no travel size toiletries , no microwave , no hand or face towels.
The staff attempted to help with language differences (successfully) . Dinner options were very minimal , and only available at 7 pm. Coffee was never available unless we paid for .
The worst part was the air quality . Many families complained of affects of using the A/C or heating as it instantly affected their breathing . Mold was apparent in our room . As an asthmatic , I found it very exhausting to breathe day in and day out . Now that I’m home , I have relief . The fire alarm regularly went off and we found this quite disturbing and alarming .

Basically a good stay for the budget tourist.

Generally good. Excellent location next to subway and to my principle bus depot (Alameda). Quite a few food snack bars along with free breakfast. Room was comfy although I sometimes had to use the extra blanket when it got a little chilly at night, but I like chilly weather. Television worked but was confusing to use, although I seldom needed the television. The shower was harder than most to adjust due to having huge nozzle fixed above the ceiling. Trying to adjust the shower temperature could be tricky as it took a while for the water to warm up and some if could splash on the floor when was trying to adjust its temperature from the outside. But once it was warm, it was a fine shower. Staff were helpful and provided me with a desktop and mouse in the lobby which was excellent.

The property itself is good, clean and well maintained. The problem is the neighborhood. There are constant muggings going on just outside the doors. It's not the hotel's fault but you don't want to get mugged. The police are conspicuously absent and do not even come when called. The muggings are at times violent (if victim resists). We witnessed at least 50 incidents from the hotel windows.

Two things:

When checked in the front desk asked for the PDI slip which wasn’t given to me at the airport immigration. I explained that I was given the slip only on my first time and I have been to Chile about 10 times for business since. I stayed at Ibis in Copiapo on this same trip. They understood and didn’t charge me tax as a non citizen. I show the desk the invoice from Copiapo. The girl wouldn’t budge and charged me 19.5% iva. Upon my exit, I asked the immigration officer. I was told they officially stopped issuing PDI slips but one could asked for it. The hotel should be training its employees of these updates in policies.

While having breakfast, I was told breakfast wasn’t included. I was told to go to the counter. I said as far as I remember on the website it’s included. He attendant said it was about amenities available. I don’t know if hotels.com or Ibis was trying to be sneaky for $4 worth of food. I surely saw breakfast, wifi, and parking, among other things as I remembered. But only breakfast became an embarrassment.

We stayed there for a night because we were doing a stop to go to Viña del Mar the next day. The hotel has the advantage that is right in the Bus Terminal, which was also the main reason why we book the hotel. Thumbs up for that advantage and because it was at a good price. Now, we would not recommend someone to stay there for their visit to Santiago unless it was similar to our case. We felt a bit unsafe as the area is NOT Santiago's nicest spot. Staff was really nice. But, the hotel room could be renovated.

While the hotel staff were very friendly, the area in which the hotel is placed is atrocious. Very noisy and unsafe on the street. As a 190cm tall guy, I don't scare easily and I was concerned for my safety in the evening. I would not recommend this for families at all. I am also inundated by junk mail from Accor Hotel group and have unsubscribed to several mailers. You need to stop contacting me.

We were staying for a couple of nights prior to boarding a cruise ship in San Antonio. We chose the Ibis Estacion because of the proximity of the bus stations. We arrived tired after a 12hour overnight flight and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in and have something to eat. The accomodation was comfortable and very clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Outside of the hotel the streets were teeming with people who were traveling, the bus station is very busy but inside it is quiet It is not the the most central hotel in Santiago but we enjoyed our stay.

An excellent hotel for a stopover en route to San Antonio cruise port, as it is located right beside the Alameda bus station, allowing very economical and comfortable travel by Turbus from the airport to the city, and then onward to San Antonio by Pullmantur coach one or two days later. The walking required is about 100yds in each case so baggage handling not too onerous.
The hotel was clean, the reception staff very helpful, and the provision of good size security boxes was a bonus, avoiding the need to carry travel docs and holiday money and cameras on the streets, as the area around the bus and nearby train station is very busy with local commuters and shoppers so care of possessions is necessary as in this type of location in all major cities. For the faint hearted or travel weary the hotel bar and restaurant was fine (if a little pricey) for this type of hotel.
Easy access to the city centre is available using the metro from the station entrance in the bus terminal next door.

The hotel was fine, but requires maintainance. The shower mixer wasn't working properly so the temperature fluctuated and the basin was plumbed with the taps the wrong way around. For the first 2 nights the sheet on the bed wzs more suited for a single bed,but luckily replaced by the 3rd night.

Always a bad experience at IBIS Estacion Central

Nothing to complaint about the room and cleanness. The only reason I stay there is because its proximity to the bus terminal. I Have stayed at several IBIS hotels in other cities even in Chile. But this one in particular has a really bad service. Restaurante and personnel in general is really disrespectful not only I have experienced it in first person but I see it happened to a lot of people. They choose who and when to attend. You have to wait for them to stop chat on the cellphone, stop chat with another colleague about their life, or you have to put up with their bad mood because they are impatient and occupied for you. There might be one or to employees that work nice, but the rest act as if they were the owners of the Hotel and you annoy them with your requests.

Standard basic Ibis. Perfect location for transfers to/from the airport, Valparaiso etc as is adjacent to Alameda terminal. Metro station also very close by. Only annoyance was my room key kept failing and after returning to reception numerous times, it turned out to be because the guy at reception had written the wrong room number on the key card. Luggage guy who sits by the lifts is a delight.

A stone throw away distant to Turbus terminal. Basic stay for a night stay if you need to use Turbus to travel elsewhere. Hotel's condition is fair and clean. Bed comfort is slightly above average. Super convenient and cheap to get to and from the airport from here via Turbus. We had a 20 layover in Santiago and took the bus to and from the airport. Place is clean and quiet. Since we arrived late (11pm) we ate in the restaurant; also had breakfast there. Neither were great, just ok, but very convenient. Neighborhood around the hotel and bus station isn't great but we felt safe for the short walk.

Stayed 2 days at this hotel. The room was clean, had AC, WiFi, nice water pressure in the shower. The cleaning lady was super nice and probably the nicest person on staff. Front desk customer service was ok. The hotel restaraunt staff lacked customer service skills. The \"breakfast buffet\" was gross: barely cooked, super runny scrambled eggs and hot dog pieces in a tomato sauce and cold cereal. You have to pay extra for breakfast which comes out to $7-8 US. Not worth it.

Good location for arrival by bus, and steps from the metro in ever improving area. The hotel is an oasis in a very crowded, transportation hub. Once inside rooms are very functional,clean and for a short stay very adequate. Hotels offers a breakfast buffet daily plus lunch & Dinner . Service in the restaurant was slow at times, so if you are in a hurry there are many food courts and options at the terminals.

My belonging were stolen by room Maid.

After a one night stay I checked out and boarded a bus just outside the doors of this hotel. With in 10 minuets I discovered I had left my IPhone 6 and a $350 Bose headset in my room. I was stuck on the bus for 8hr before I could email or call. After several attempts to contact the Ibis hotel no one would answer the phone or respond to the emails I sent requesting them hold my belongings. I returned four days latter and asked the staff if they had my belongings but the response was NO! \"We got your emails but we did not find you stuff\" In fact I know exactly where I left my belongings in the room that morning.

Long and short they stole my stuff and acted like I had not stayed there. BEWARE!

I have used Ibis Hotel many times, they are really excellent. The one in Santiago Central, is well located but a very busy street close to the Bus Terminal so is a lot of traffic, and people.
The staff is excellent. During the months of January to February I used the hotel twice, the first time there was no priblem, but the second time I requested to be mived to another room due to the presence of mold in the shower, they were really nice on giving us another room right away, the second room shower was better but still with some corrosion in the walls, no mold on thus one.They do need to fix the showers, the rest was impecable.

The hotel is ok but the location is dangerous. I was attacked by 4 youths 100 metres from hotel and robbed of my iPhone on the Main Street at 3pm. Police not helpful.
