The hotel is clean, the staff pleasant, and the location was very convenient. However, the handicapped bathroom was functionally inadequate. There was a standard bathtub, nothing to sit on if you wanted to shower. However, there were grab bars placed so you could conceivably take a bath.

Great location. Short walk to Madison Square Gardens and Penn Station. Breakfast buffet came really handy. The tv didn’t work for my entire stay, but staff was friendly and helpful and overall I’d recommend.

One elevator was out of service for part of our stay. Both elevators were out of service for the remainder of our stay. The heater/air conditioner thermostat did not work. It was either unbearably hot or unbearably cold in our room.

The pros:
- The hotel was in great walking distance to the closest subway station, as well as some of the great attractions of NYC - including Madison Square Garden which is where we were headed to for a few events.
- The room was always toasty warm when returning to it, as there was a radiator that we could control.
- Breakfast is free!
- Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the stay.

Cons:
- There was only one working elevator which caused major delays with getting up and down the hotel.
- The breakfast wasn’t very inclusive to those who have different dietary needs. It would have been nice to have non-dairy options, alternatives to pork and a selection of herbal teas and a hot chocolate option etc.
- It was hard to sleep because walls were quite thin and could hear other guests in their rooms including above and below us.

Great location close to Penn Station - room was very clean, beds were comfy - breakfast was lovely, freshly ground coffee any time of day - cookies offered at 3pm, wine offered at 4pm. It's on the smaller side, hotel-wise - but we had a great stay overall.

The hotel was clean and nice but they had faulty smoke detectors. Said we were smoking in the room which we were not charged us $350.00 and kicked us out so we had to leave the hotel the night before our flight. My husband smokes but he would go and smoke outside of the hotel. They said it happened at a time when we were not even in the room and would not check the cameras to show that we were telling the truth. So we lost $350.00 for the smoke detection plus a nights stay and we had to pay $300.00 at another hotel to have somewhere to sleep for the night. It was my husband’s 50th birthday. Made for a bad experience

Received text asking when I will be arriving.
Responded that we will be there at 1pm and request for early check in if was possible.
Arrived at 1pm and was advised that the room was not ready.
Waited until \"after\" 3pm check in time for room 1004.
Numerous issues regarding room and service at the hotel establishment.
No hand wash soap, no body lotion and no coffee due to machine not working. Asked for refills for both soap and lotion on day of check in and was never filled during our stay.
This was disappointing.

Overall the experience was good, I would stay here again, but I'd rather be closer to more restaurants. The staff was overall great and very helpful. The breakfast area is small and was very crowded, so we didn't always have a place to sit. The free coffee and cookies are a wonderful feature! I would recommend this place, I just wish it was closer to more dining/shopping/subway options so I don't have to walk as far. But, Penn Station is pretty close, too. So, in general, it's in a good area. No laundry. The bike rental requires a $500 deposit per bike. Overall, I think most people would be happy here.

You got to remember that even though a room might be relatively expensive compared to some cities, for Manhatten, this is cheap. You got to expect to receive a cheaper service.
The breakfast was pretty bad with only a few options available. Most mornings we went elsewhere for a bagel, so no biggie.
I liked that coffee was available from the machine 24/7.
Whilst we were there a guest was placed in the next room with a big dog, which would bark loudly when the owner wasn't there. This was a concern for us, not only for the noise but for the dog's welfare. After we complained the hotel did offer us two different rooms, but there were issues with both of the rooms on offer (broken thermostat or no natural light). So we stayed put and hoped for the best. Our friends, who were staying 2 floors up, could also hear the dog.

This property although expensive was right in the area where I needed to be. Walking distance to Penn station, and Time Square. The room was small but we were hardly there. The room was clean and quiet, breakfast was plentiful and hot. I have no complaints about my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The 2 queen bedroom was very tight, expected in NYC l guess. The bathroom was decent and clean. The hotel was kept very clean. Overall l would recommend staying at this place

This is the WORSE hotel I've ever stayed in my entire life. They gave me a room in the basement. There was no insulation at all and the heaters run all night long. They are super loud. ON TOP OF that they charge an absurd amount for some made up RESORT FEE on top of the standard rate.. it's a total scam. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! STAY AWAY

The bed in our room was wet with urine. We did not realize it until we got into bed around 10 pm, at which point we notified the hotel staff. We were moved to a new room and found hair and stains on the mattress cover in that room. The experience was disruptive and disappointing.

Also, the breakfast area was small and extremely crowded. The food did not look appetizing. We went out for breakfast each morning instead.

I booked an accessible room that ended up not being accessible at all. Upon arriving in my hotel room, the buttons for the privacy shade in the window didn't work. Come to find out - there was no privacy shade. It had been removed. They had to come install it. Next, I found out that there was no shower head in my bathroom. This was baffling. I spent all night calling the front desk, they sent someone else to look at it, the engineer said he'd be back with a spare part and never returned. This was at this point 11:30pm. I then went out to the front desk to talk to them as they were no longer answering the phone. It was someone new - they had switched shifts. The engineers had gone home for the day too and no one told anyone what was going on. Its not midnight. Luckily she was able to find another room, though not accessbile, to move me to in the lower level of the hotel. It was not very clean, had stains on chairs, the TV didn't work, and there wasn't a phone in the room to call upstairs. All in all this was a nightmare of an experience and I won't be back.

Accommodating service from front desk staff. They’re quick with any request we had for the room and helpful with any questions. It’s in a great location in Chelsea, close to MSG and restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights and would recommend. My only complaint would be the thin walls and outside noise at night. Overall, great service and hospitality.
