This is an underrated room for sure. The room had cool and relaxing vibes. Granted, the location is in an area that’s still being constructed in, but this hotel is beautiful in the inside. What’s a huge plus for me is the gym, they got everything you need. I enjoyed how the hotel offers a bar/lunch/dinner area and it was an area I enjoyed being in. The staff were super friendly and helpful when needed.

The only criticism I have is the site lists one of the main amenities as sound proof rooms and all I could hear literally all night were rude neighbors blaring music till after 4 am! That’s not soundproof and super annoying

I continue to prioritize staying here when I come to NY. Now, I do look for the times when the nightly rate is more in my budget (it can be pricey!) The easy walk from Penn Station, the yoga mat in the room, the windows that you can crack open -all my favorite things!

I definitely enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was also perfect, walking distance to Time Square. There was also a parking garage directly across the street from the hotel. If I ever stay in Manhattan, I would stay here again.

Stayed in many NYC hotels and this is definitely one of the best. Great location and family room with two double beds. Bathroom was a good size (for NYC) and mattresses were excellent. Only downside was the annoying sheets rather - would prefer a full duvet cover but that may just be a UK thing. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table. Highly recommend!

Great accessibility to all of Manhattan, and the feeling of living in midtown manhattan. Staff was helpful, checkin and check out process was seamless, hotel access and everything was quite smooth!

Overall, our stay was okay. The room was definitely very small, but since you’re out exploring NYC most of the day, it was manageable. One thing that didn’t really make sense was the workout equipment taking up space in the room, especially since the hotel already has a gym. The space would’ve been much more useful as extra closet storage or a luggage bench.

The rug looked a bit worn, and the bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but the AC in the room worked well. The elevator also got pretty warm at times.

The best part was definitely the location, super convenient and right near Times Square and the Empire State Building. Just keep in mind parking is separate and located in a garage across the hotel.

Overall, a decent stay for the location and convenience.

One of the best stays I even been. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very nice as well and rooms were clean and roomy. The one thing personally for me it’s inconvenient bathroom doors, cause they just slide and don’t shut, but it’s not the huge problem. The overall experience was great, I would definitely stay there again!

As far as hotels that are squeezed into buildings or city blocks, this one is better than most in terms of room size and amenities and value. This was my first time, and I'll definitely seek it out when I'm in the city again. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, and a surprisingly spacious room (and mood lighting....bonus!). Well done!

This is neither the first nor the last time I will stay at this property. The location is convenient for walking or taking the subway around Manhattan and elsewhere in NYC. The staff is exceptional to visitors and to one another, which is a beautiful thing to see. The space is clean and has a nice gym. There is even a free laundry service for your gym clothes! You can get breakfast and coffee to start the day, the breakfast is made to order, not a buffet, so you know you are getting freshly prepared food. They do have a small market with grab and go items as well. If you don't want to do breakfast or have coffee there, Culture 46 is close and has excellent coffee and pastries. The hotel provides reusable water bottles, to avoid single use plastics, that you can take home with you. The rooms have yoga mats, foam rollers, and exercise bands, so you can get in a little private exercise or stretching. I will defintely continue to say here on my trips to NYC.

Great location - a quick walk from Moynihan Train Hall and has a subway stop feet from the entrance. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, updated and spacious for NYC. The bathroom was really nice - updated shower and smelled so nice. We had breakfast one day onsite and there were good options available and our server was really nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Our go to hotel for when visiting New York, another great stay! Just as good as our 1st stay some 10 years ago when newly opened. Appreciated early check in after long flight, staff friendliness, high standards of cleanliness maintained, lovely breakfast, good room sizes for the area, great location. We enjoyed our 4-night stay here. The room was comfortable and quiet and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We had easy access to wherever we needed to go, whether it was via subway, Uber, or walking. We chose this hotel b/c we arrived in NYC on a train and it’s a quick walk from Penn Station. I would feel comfortable booking it again on a future trip.

The property location that was right next to the subway with plenty of walkable food and shopping options. The bar was less than average, with them being out of so many things that they couldn’t even make a margarita. They gave one coupon for one complimentary drink per room. I would have thought that they would give at least one per guest. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is not for me. I guess for the price, we should have expected basic and simple but other reviews made us more hopeful. Check in was confusing. They gave us a welcome card for a free drink. We don’t drink alcohol so went for a coffee and were told no, only alcohol so if you don’t drink, you go without! Rooms were basic, sliding toilet door so no privacy at all. On that note, DO NOT get a room with an adjoining door, you can hear EVERYTHING, and we heard everything on three occasions on one night for us! We did complain and got moved rooms and was told this would be brought up with management but never heard back from them. Not a relaxing stay but again, for the price it was to perhaps be expected. We certainly won’t stay there again!

Great location-easy walk to MSG, Amtrak station and A, C and E trains. Clean and quiet hotel. Could use more hooks for coats, clothes and towels and could use another electrical plug near the bedroom mirror. Only plug near a mirror is in the bathroom so have to wait for person taking shower to finish to do hair. Luggage storage available-our train home wasn’t until 5. We left all of our luggage and coats there while we finished a college tour between check out and the train station. Thank you!

Very nice clean and modern hotel with an easy walk to Penn Station. Best not to be on a lower floor facing 35th street as it is vey noisy. Breakfast was not included - this would be a huge plus. Water bottles in the room would be great. There is a water station in the lobby with plastic glasses, but we had to go down repeatedly for water for drinking and coffee. A bit irritating. Walls are pretty thin and we were woken up several times by people and doors slamming.

Staff was friendly and helpful every time we spoke with them and asked questions. The room and bathroom were very clean. They have small game room with a foosball and ping pong table on the first floor. On the sub-level floor, there’s a small bar and lounge where you can order breakfast and dinner from.

The freshly squeezed orange juice was the highlight of my breakfast, I had two glasses of it. I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich and coffee, they weren’t great. They don’t use real eggs. Order something else or walk around the corner and find a cafe or deli. The snack bar was limited, peanut m&ms, m&ms, KitKat, Reese’s butter cups, Pringle’s, few other options of chips, and sodas. Coffee is also option in the snack bar, but it’s hotel coffee, they had no creamer options when I checked to mask the taste.

Location is in a great spot if you’re planning to see an event at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center. This hotel faces the back of that building. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance. Within 5-10 minutes you can walk to a great pizzeria called Vito’s, few Asian restaurants, Cafe, and across the street from the Manhattan Center there’s a Jimmy John’s, Dunkin, Five Guys, and Chipotle. There’s also an AMC movie theater if you’re up for a movie. There are tons of gift shops in every direction. It took me about 15-20 minutes to walk from the hotel to Macy’s on 34th Street and about the same time to stop at a nearby Target. Great hotel!

When you're checking in, no one assists in opening the door for you, it's a pull door, and it's quite hard to pull when both hands are carrying luggages. No bellman service, for this price wasn't expected. The room was not properly cleaned. The carpet was dirty and stained with lots of gray hair and dust lined around the bed. The room was musty obviously because of the dirty carpet. The restaurant doesn't have a direct phone line to call ahead for meals, so you have to call the front desk to be connected. The front desk doesn't pick up the phone when you call, even back to back. The main website advertises room service, but it's not offered here. To be charging a resort fee without true amenities is crazy. Safe to say, I'll never return.

Great location, walking distance from dozens of NYC landmarks, subway station a 30 second walk from the front door. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Rooms had plenty of room for queen beds, not sure why they only have doubles - if they made this simple improvement it would be perfect.

Some small issues, the rug in our room wasn't totally cleaned and many of the outlets were \"loose\", causing electric plugs to fall out at random. But the staff was all very friendly and helpful, overall a very positive experience.
