The man at the front desk who was working graveyard was not so attentive and kind. I mentioned the shower door in my room was not properly screwed to glass door where one was completely off and the mid part was very loose. The door could not shut properly and the sink was clogged, the phone to call front desk would not go through and it was quite noisy in the room…other than that the woman who checked me in was very kind, helpful and went above and beyond. They also left me a birthday card and some goodies, thank you.
I think they should have properly checked out the room any incident could happen at anytime with a guest or the glass door could have fallen off. I hope they can work on fixing this for future guest and their safety.

Great stay for my first time in NYC. Convenient location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Free “welcome drink” on your first night of your stay which was kind. They had a spacious comfy lounge/ seating area that I was able to out in before my trip back to the airport which was very convenient. They also held my bags after checkout so I didn’t have to lug them around the city on my last day. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This hotel was very quaint and convenient to our points of interest near Times Square. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating at all times (Michael at the front desk was the best!). Rooms are small but well designed, staff was courteous and friendly, great location…BUT…it’s noisy! Despite requesting a high floor we were put on the 6th floor and could hear everything happening outside all night. Sirens, blaring horns, bickering construction workers, we slept poorly and the only way we’d stay here again is if we were guaranteed a much higher floor. Better windows would also help. Our rooms were booked over two months in advance and at that time we requested a high floor and early check in and both were ignored.

Fine for us as we wanted to be further away but for anyone wanting to be close the hotel is at least 6 streets / blocks away. Excellent location for Madison square gardens , penn station , empire state etc . Very easy to get around.

I never really leave reviews however my friend and I loved this hotel so much I thought I should. The rooms where super comfortable and we loved the view from our room. We were a bit sceptical at first since this hotel was a lot cheaper in comparison to other hotels in NYC. But it was amazing! The staff were so so lovely too!

This property pays attention to details. The amenities were nice and seeing a new pair of cozy slippers by the bed made me feel all warm inside. The keurig coffee is a nice touch and so are the hair products and body wash in the shower…smelled so good! McDonald’s and Taco Bell are literally a block away if you’re craving fast food and there is a Burgerology across the street. Lots of hidden fees. I paid the resort fee thru Expedia which was 50$ then I had to pay for “amenities” fee again in person which was 25 dollars. The staff lack of community with each other because I got there at 3am which meant someone had to check me in from before and I called and spoke to someone and they said I was all checked in. Then when I arrived at the hotel at 3am, the lady was saying she can’t find my name and I’m not checked in. I tried telling her I spoke to someone but she wasn’t ready to listen. The rooms were nice and clean but I paid way more money than i expected to pay. Will definitely not be coming back

what I really enjoyed was the great front desk and bartender. I do think the location was top-tier and it was actually on a street behind the first hotel i booked my first time traveling to NYC four years ago, so I was familiar with the area. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that the hallway was really small and the hotel room was really small and I booked a king size bed. That wasn’t a dealbreaker but I’m just putting that out there. I also didn’t like that the hotel rooms didn’t come with individual microwaves nor did it come with a mini fridge. the complimentary slippers were really uncomfortable as well. I do feel like those things should be mentioned before you book but overall I would give my stay a 9 out of 10. Would I book this hotel again? absolutely. Would it be my first three choices? no.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The service was great and the bartender was very nice as well. Welcome drinks were definitely a plus. However there were a few things that could maybe deter you from this hotel. First off, we got a city view room, but the windows are pretty small. Smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel advertising a city view room. The bathroom was also not the best. The counters in a two bed room should be bigger. There is not enough space to put all your things. Water would come out of the shower and soak the bathroom floor. Those things are the reason I didn’t give it a five star.
