Staff is always great. It’s right outside the city so it’s less noise and safe for kids. We traveled from out of state, bad weather hit our state and we had to extend our trip. They all had to walk down seven flights of stairs as we were on the seventh floor, like I said. The elevator was not fixed by the time we left our stay. horrible, just horrible.

I actually was surprised at the high marks this hotel received. It’s an older hotel that looks like the lobby has been redone because that looks very nice, but the rooms all need remodeling. There were chips in the furniture, creeking old bed, paint chip in the bathroom door, old carpet, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hilton with three minor exceptions:
1) The bathroom sink drains so slowly one had to stop running water every few minutes before proceeding to run more;
2). The room had 3 Kleenex tissues in the bathroom and then ran out. We had to go down to Registration desk to get more;
3). The location of the toilet tissue holder was so far away, it was almost impossible to access while using the toilet.
