The room was very clean and comfortable. Every one of your staff were friendly and helpful.
Our only minor disappointment was that the bacon in hot buffet was always very crispy, which is not how we like it. It looked like it had been kicking around for a while.
Otherwise, we had an excellent stay with you.

Central Toulouse Hotel.

Hotel is well situated close to bars & restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable Shame about peeling wallpaper which let the room down slightly. Soap In shower was not topped up when empty. But overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying In Toulouse.

Room was fine. Reflects North American standards. Excellent location. Decor could be updated but this is no biggie. Large bathroom which was welcome after Paris sized hotel rooms.

The only draw back was the king size bed. The mattress needs to be changed

I was travelling solo which allowed me to sleep in the middle of the bed and get proper support.

Sitting on the edge of both sides the mattress went from 8” to about 4”. If you slept on the edge, you are literally sleeping on an angle.

I mentioned it to the desk and the person took note of it and thanked me for mentioning it. (Good response)

Friends in another room did not report this situation

This is a great choice for people looking to be in the centre for the best Toulouse experience

Hard to be any closer to the centre, just off of the main square. Breakfasts were very good, though the staff fell behind servicing the coffee and juice machines, and ran out of dishes and cutlery.

We had a large junior suite, with a full King size bed and extensive sitting area. But the TV was useless for anything other than live TV -- no possibility of computer connection or playing one's own content.

The WiFi was good signal, but blocked remote VPN and SSH, making it difficult to do any remote work. This is unacceptable in 2025.

We stayed at The Plaza Hotel Capitole for 2 nights in early September and loved it. The location in the center of Toulouse was great. After parking our car in the Capitole Square parking lot we walked everywhere during our stay. We found the staff to be very friendly, professional, and helpful. The facilities were very clean, and comfortable. My only wish was that there were brighter \"daylight\" LED lights in the lamps to provide a brighter room.
Note: We found that the parking ramp (1 Place du Capitole) is somewhat of a
busy pedestrian challenge to get to, but following the directions given to us by the hotel staff got us there)

Should we visit Toulouse again, we will stay at the Plaza Hotel Capitole again.

Did not have access to the property via car ( heavy luggage) for hours the first day due to a manifestation and the hotel did not notify us.
One whole day there was not warm water and most of the da not any water and the hotel staff was not truthful about the situation, but borderline rude.

The bed was comfortable. No running water for about 20 hours. We cancelled our final night stay because of this and the man on reception said we would not be charged for it. When we checked out I asked “when will I be refunded”. He said “that is down to Hotels.com”. He knew exactly what he was doing when he said we would be refunded. As it’s become apparent that Hotels.com won’t refund us as it was 1900 when I cancelled it due to the water problem and Hotels.com’s policy is that you have to cancel by 1800. Aside of the water problem the rooms are overpriced for what they are. You are basically paying to be in the centre!

Great stay at this property. Loved the room and location. Check-in a problem, as charged the tax for someone else's room, then had to move room, and was given a parking voucher as a refund for wrong tax, but it did not work in the end. Otherwise great hotel and stay - perfect location.

The hotel is in a superb location in the centre of Toulouse. We had booked a premium room and were given a very early check-in without charge about 1100 when we arrived to drop our luggage. The room was bright and well furnished. However, the bathroom was smelly, and the view was of a brick wall. The hotel upgraded us to a superbly spacious and well-equipped junior suite. There is a pleasant dining room / breakfast area with outdoor courtyard space.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but difficult to access. There was an event in the plaza so we could not get to the parking garage and had to carry our luggage over a mile from another garage in 100 degree weather. The hotel had directed us to a very close garage but all the streets were blocked and the hotel did not warn us which I was very frustrated about since we had specially asked about parking and reserved a spot. The desk staff was unsympathetic and simply said it was hard for them to get to work that day.

24 hour gym was excellent all machines worked well and enjoyed BBC TV to keep up with stock market and world events so much better than CNN I used gym 2 hours everyday during my 8 day stay wonderful area a/c worked very well and loved option of having opening all windows

A Day in Toulouse

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we did not hear any street noise. Nearby parking is available and I had prearranged it with a better rate being offered through the hotel. The location was very central making it easy for us to walk to all of the sights we visited. There are lots of shops and restaurants immediately in the area. I would definitely recommend staying at the Plaza Hotel.

The room had a small window facing into the hotel quadrant so was very dark with hardly any natural light.

The shower was weak and wouldnt stay in position.

On the positive, it was centrally located and good for shopping and restaurants.

It was a great location, plenty to do and see within walking distance. Lots of people. For those that need good air circulation or A/C, this hotel was a little lacking, or maybe it was just the room we stayed in. Europe on a whole doesn't believe in A/C as muct as we Americans do.

Ideal base for exploring Toulouse

Although the entrance and reception area feel a bit tired, and the rooms perhaps slightly dated, this was an ideal place to stay to explore Toulouse. It couldn’t be more central. The beds are comfortable, the rooms quiet - even ours which overlooked the Place du Capitole - and the staff helpful and accommodating.

I really liked the location of the hotel but I was not happy with the hotel room. The room had a smell that was not pleasant but when I asked at desk they said they would have maids deal with the next day. Someone came by but used that perfume smelling spray. I used the smelly shampoo to try and mask it and opened the doors to outside patio. The room showed wear and probably needs to be updated and more recycling options.

One thing I would point out is, that the keycards tripped out and I had to go to the reception desk everyday to get it re-configured, which added some inconvenience.

The rooms feel somewhat dated, and the bathrooms have a very narrow bathtub. For the bathroom size, a shower would be a better option.

The high-speed internet is sufficient for general use, but certain business VPN connections are restricted, which can make remote work challenging.

While there is coffee provided in the room, it’s instant coffee. However, this wasn’t an issue for us since there are plenty of charming coffee shops and restaurants just steps away from the hotel.

On the positive side, the location is excellent, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are reasonably priced. I would recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

A good location. On the surface a nice hotel staff friendly. But it is dated with for example worn carpets and old showers. The hotel is noisey and with creaky pipes and loud aircon and the lifts in the centre of the building so if you get a room near them you can hear all day and night.

If you are going to explore Toulouse, this is the perfect hotel. It is extremely reasonably priced and very comfortable. It is quiet and safe and has excellent breakfasts. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of all, it is perfectly located to walk to the major sites in Toulouse.
I will be back!
