The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk by train stations such as Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est which made getting around the city very easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself is comfortable, though the soundproofing could be improved, as I occasionally could hear noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, my fiancé and I very much enjoyed our stay!

The interior is quite old and needs some work. Everything is clean. It is close to the train station. However my window was facing the intersection and there were noises coming in until 2-3 am. Literally there were people walking on the streets and talking loud. Hard to fall asleep when there were so much noises.

Location is good if you want to be close to Gare du Nord (North train station). Our room was small and the elevator barely fits one person and one medium luggage. Breakfast is minimal but delicious. The location felt a little sketchy. Only 15 minute walk to Sacre Couer. We were given one large towel for 2 people. Fine for a one night stay.

Great location but disappointed ….

Location is great as hotel guests can access to all means of public transportation within a few minutes’ walk. However, this also creates a major drawback for female solo travelers as there are lots of strange guys standing outside the metro/train station. Not a nice neighborhood to walk around unless you have company.
Also, the room is not very sound proof. Lastly , the breakfast is really below standard. Selection is very limited.

The most convenient hotel location if you are arriving by Eurostar. Reception staff are amazing. After checking in and dropping off your luggage and locking your passport in the safe, then go out into Paris like a local instead of looking like a tourist with your luggage in till.

Its an ok property to stay at if you're using the train station the next morning. Room was sufficient, shower wasn't the greatest, had an empty tissue holder for tissues in the room.

Bit noisy in the streets, but the area is overall noisy. Bed was ok, AC worked great.

Staff was not friendly during check in, however my check out experience was okay with the other staff.

Area is great if you want to be near to Gare du Nord, however it can be unsafe for female solo travellers- especially if you are asian. I was there on a Friday night and there were alot of people loitering around the hotel and it can be quite rowdy.

My room was horrible, there was something wrong with the airconditioner which had a LOUD vibration sound every 10-15mins. It went on for the entirety of my stay, however I did not bother to change rooms as I was only there for a night. Cleanliness was mediocre as well.

Room was tiny, as expected. Elevator wasnt the most friendly given it was an old building. Only 1 pax and a big luggage can fit.

As an asian solo female traveller, I do not recommend this place.

Had a good stay. Decided on this hotel because it was literally a stone throw away from Gard du nord. We were pretty early for checkin and they were kind enough to hold our bags for us. However we may have left a pair of slippers in the room and tried contacting them via messages but no response to date. Otherwise convenient location near train station

Right beside a hostel that had partying every night. Tons of police sirens in the area and had a lot of street people selling cigarettes. My electronic adapters were not compatible as their outlets were oddly shaped and had to use ones that they loan. They also ask you to leave your room key with them when you leave for the day even though they do not ask for identification to pick it back up when re-entering.

Very close walk to the major train station Gare Du Nord like maybe 10 mins at most. So very convenient from the airport or other parts of Paris as most trains go to this station including the train to Disneyland. Rooms in Europe are much smaller than North American but the room was very nice and you can walk pretty much anywhere from here. Staff was friendly and spoke English.

Convenient location and good value for money

Not a fan of the area. Felt a bit chaotic, especially since we were staying when an important football match was going on. However the soundproofing in the room was great! Although we could hear how noisy it was outside from the bathroom, inside the room itself we were completely sheltered from the noise outside.

Very convenient location and great for the price.

The Hilton at Charles de Gaulle airport is perfect all around. Its proximity to the station and airport makes it very easy and convenient. Also all public transportation to Paris are easily accessible.
The hotel has a very charming lobby. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable
The breakfast has a nice selection and the restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The executive lounge is spacious with a nice selection of drinks.

My wife and I stayed here while in Paris. The staff are outstanding and very helpful. Their breakfast is really good and starts your day off right. We were upgraded to a bigger room with lots of space compared to an average room in Paris. The elevator is a bit small, a max of 3 people or one person and a suitcase, but very efficient. The Albert is very close to both Gare du Nord train station and metro and Gare de l’Est train and metro stations. Highly recommend staying here!

Both my rooms were extremely small and, in different ways, noisy. The first-floor room was poorly insulated against noise from the ground floor. The sixth-floor room faced a very noisy youth hostel across the street. I thought the interior design very tasteful but the value for money is not great.

This is a convenient hotel for being close to the train station. The staff was friendly on check in and they were able to hold bags until room was ready. Note that the elevator is broken and only goes from 1st floor, it’s also very small so be prepared. Wasn’t too much trouble for us as it’s just one flight of stairs but after a long travel day not what you want to hear. Depending on time of day you may need to walk a bit away to less busy area to catch an uber. But otherwise no real issues with location. Room itself was serviceable and comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you had no other choice.

For the price I perhaps should have expected poor standards but what let this hotel down was the service and facilities or lack thereof.

Firstly the property doesn’t have a working lift from the ground floor. The lift only works from floor 1 upwards so it’s a real struggle to get your luggage up that one flight to then use the lift. The issue is then compounded by the fact that it’s probably the smallest lift / elevator I’ve ever seen. At best you’ll get yourself and one suitcase in there and a rucksack. Not ideal for a family of 3 including a 22 month old and his stroller coming from CDG after a long flight.

On to the service. The staff were ‘fake polite’ begrudgingly answering questions and not being happy when asked if they could warm up baby food or if they had any non oat-milk to avoid allergies. My wife speaks fluent French but they didn’t think we understood any French and what the lady was saying to her colleague about us was far from pleasant let’s just say that!

Other things I found wierd - at breakfast we wanted to pay for 1 breakfast for our child. They mentioned kids eat free if an adult buys breakfast so we bought one breakfast for my wife and for my son to eat too. All normal so far…however they told me that I’m not allowed in the breakfast area as I’ve not paid even though I only wanted to sit with my 22 month old to help feed him.

The most convenient aspect of this hotel is its location. The reception looks a little quaint with its reading lounge area. The elevator is tiny and required us to do a couple of trips as a couple with luggage. The room was OK, the bathroom rudimentary and rather cold.

3) Room had windows which we can open/close to let some air in/out

Cons
1) Bathroom (esp the bathtub) was an odd size. Even when standing to take a shower, water got onto the floor.
2) Old building/decor. Hotel was rather dark/dim, sending quite a depressive vibe.

Overall, Id say if you like being close to the station and dont spend much time in the room, this hotel would be fine.

Has all the basics you need with plenty of food options around.

Perfect for gare du Nord and Eurostar. Lovely little lobby with ample seating, and drinks to purchase.

Small elevator, but standard for small Paris hotels.

Rooms also small, but not as small as others. Single room is too small, so if you can pay for a double room for single occupancy (I find it’s around £12/14 more)

Bathroom clean. Bed clean.

First of all, hotel is in a great location and easy to get around, but the room was very very small compared to what’s advertised on their website, also the toilet is tiny and the bath is half the size of a normal bath, so not fit for purpose at all, the bathtub and sink needs to be upgraded as it’s all worn out(old).
The bed is very noisy especially with your partner on it, so I would recommend the hotel to upgrade on these things.
