Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Location was great for access to the city and the railway station.
The room and decor was a little dated but quite quirky and there is still evidence of the switch from radiators to aircon.
The bed was comfortable and pretty quiet with a view of the courtyard.

It was a lovely short stay of 2 nights, and the staff were very accommodating and patient with me practicing my French with them haha. It's a great place to stay also if you will be travelling from the train station Toulouse Matabiau as it's only a maximum 5 minute walk away.

The pictures on the ad are Hollywood quality. Our room wasn’t available as we were mistakenly booked as a single. We were “upgraded”. Yes, the room was very clean and large. The wallpaper was falling off. There was new trim but not painted. Mixed feelings as the hotel was clean and quiet.

Enjoyed the hotel though the room was a bit small. Room was cleaned each day, though the carpet appeared not to have been vacuumed for a while.
The worst part of the hotel was arranging my airport pickup with Welcome Pickups. They were terrible. No flexibility for flight delays. I paid them twice because of a flight delay and never got picked up. Ended up catching a taxi at the airport which was very simple. The taxi was also 12 euros less expensive than the vendor. Been fighting with them for two days so far to get reimbursed. I let the hotel know.

Great hotel for train travelers!

Great location if you’re traveling by train! Easy walk into the city centre. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Beds very comfortable and the room was clean and serviced every day. The decor needs a bit of tlc but this wouldn’t put us off staying here again.

A very convenient hotel. The room had old world charm and the front desk staff were very warm and helpful.

The hallways could benefit from a refresh and there was some noise at night, but neither of these detracted from the convenient location 5 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes to the Capital building. Its also very close to some fabulous cafes, an excellent boulangerie and cheese store. I would absolutely return and had a wonderful experience in Toulouse overall!

This hotel is very conveniently located but is in great need of TLC ! Paint is pealing off the room walls, the carpet looks like it is 100 years old. They claim to have free wifi but it did not work at all the time I was there and when I pointed it out to the front desk person, he just shrugged and walked away.

Cute hotel, affordably priced. AC in room didn't work because filter had to be clearned or replaced (thermostat said), but not a big issue when nights are cool Will tell staff in morning, and I believe they will fix it. In a neighborhood with city noise but not super loud.

The rooms we had did not match the picture of the room in the advert. Unfortunately our room had peeling wallpaper and our friends room had a damp smell so we didn't stay long in the room. The reception staff were extremely helpful in recommending a local restaurant which was great and then we found a very local bar with local musicians which made our night, which we would not have found in another area of the city. We sat in the outside spa area and relaxed while waiting for our transfer which was also nice.

The hotel was affordable and conveniently located to the city and to the railway/bus station but I still think a little overpriced for the sized of their rooms. My standard room barely had enough room to walk around the bed on two sides and once my bag was in the room there was little room on the third side too! The bathroom was equally ‘tight’ but adequate. However there was an extensive area of mild in the bathroom roof which is simply unacceptable.
The reception staff (female owner) was very helpful at check in but I was let down with the standard of accommodation.

Classic Hotel close to everything !

Lovely traditional property close to Railway Station and Air Transfer Bus Station and on border of canal. Staff all very helpful and responsive and the area has many bars; restaurants and is easy walk to all the key sites of interest. Also handy for bike rentals if doing a canal ride. A classic place to stay with historical connections

Lovely hotel in downtown Toulouse

Very reasonable hotel within walking distance of the main square, the Capitol. Our room was very reasonable and it was a treat to find somewhere that had some English TV stations after having none for two weeks. We had no experiences that were dampened our stay. We passed on breakfast so can't comment on that. It was nice to have parking even though it had to be paid for but that was usual.

Very close to city center and train station. It's an old hotel and you can smell a bit of dumb but the room was huge, the bed one of the most comfortables I have ever use. I'm so satisfied that I really don't care if there are minor negatives. Such a value for the paid price.

Riquet is definitively not a 3 stars hotel…. Not even 2!!! Much less than that

1) The hotel’s ad stated clearly that the hotel is air-conditioned …. Guess what : it was not!!! at least my room was not…. When I asked for an air-conditioned room they told me you have to pay more…. Misleading information…
2) The light of the ceiling was not working …. They told me they will fix it and it was not done…
3) I had a fan and if you want to plug the fan you need to use the only plug available which is the one used for the table`s light…. Leaving the room in the dark if you want to use your computer….
4) A positive point : the bathroom was clean…..

This is definitively a 3 stars hotel….. I hope hotels.com will check all that and ask a few questions…

Huge room, with walk-in wardrobe, separate loo, bathroom with double basins, oval bathtub and walk-in shower. Only thing not to like was the noisy air conditioning.
Outside extra large hot-tub available, and a patio with plenty of chairs and tables.
Breakfast seemed expensive at 13 Euros.

Relly enjoyed our one night here and would have been happy to stay longer. Neighbourhood is quiet and a short walk to the bustle of Toulouse centre. King bed most comfortable, toilet separate from bathroom a great idea and huge shower was a toucjh of luxury. Patio area with large spa comtaining small swimming area was a great way to spend an hour.

Cramped, out-dated and noisy

The general entrance to the hotel seemed reasonable for a 3 star hotel, but the kitchen/service area door was always open, meaning you could see into the kitchen area, which didn't look very professional.

Our room was tiny, with barely enough clearance for a slim person to squeeze past the end of the double bed to get to the other side where the window was. This was evidently a problem for many previous guests, as there were grubby marks across the wall where people had repeatedly tried to manoeuvre around the room. The décor was dated and shabby.

The ensuite wasn't really fit for purpose; it was crammed into the room, with a folding door that frequently got caught on clothing when walking past. The shower unit didn't have any kind of shelving for putting shampoo etc, which meant you needed to bend down to the floor for things - this was tough in such a small space, but dangerous too, as I banged my forehead on the taps in the process.

The biggest issue was the noise from the air conditioning unit which was under the window, right next to the bed; it was so loud it was like having a jet engine running next to you while you tried to sleep (it was possible to turn off, but in doing so you could then hear thumping and banging in the room above, plus it got too warm). After perhaps two hours sleep, I decided to cut the stay from 4 nights to 1 and promptly checked out.

Comfortable, friendly hotel near the train station

Stayed here for one night to meet up with friends before catching a train to start our Canal du Midi vacation. Pleasant multilingual staff. We had a nice ground floor room in the older house (across an inner courtyard). Bathroom was a little tight, no tub, but otherwise the room was fine. Small pool with jacuzzi jets & "infinite-pool" current for swimming was nice. Good breakfast. Hotel is about 3 blocks from the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the Place du Capitole.

Nice Quiet Hotel

Really helpful staff and a clean hotel. The room i had was quite small and hot as it was on the 4th floor. However, rooms that others in the party had were quite good as in they were roomy and cooler. Notably one of the larger rooms was given to my son who was in the room on his own but my wife and i were put into the smallest room.

We were only in the room one night it was no big problem and it was more than made up by the fantastic service from the staff on reception.

The hotel is not far off the main streets but is quiet because of that.

I would stay there again however I would ask for a larger room next time.

You get what you pay for. The room was not 100% clean but it was manageable. The wifi device restriction sucks for lack of a better word (1 device per room...this should be stated in the hotel's website or at least on Hotels.com info page). I most likely wouldn't stay there again if I were to go back.

Basic rooms but comfortable. Our bathroom was spacious but had a curtain in lieu of a door and the WC was open to the bathroom, so all pretty "informal." If you can deal with that, it is perfectly fine. Easy walk to lots of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. There a small outdoor spa for kids to splash around in the pleasant courtyard.

Booked 4 rooms for my daughter's wedding and my expectations were exceeded! Everyone was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants, hair dressers, makeup artists...anything we needed. They even Personally TOOK my daughter's wedding dress to be pressed and arranged for it to be delivered BACK to the hotel! Tommy delivered the BEST customer service I have ever received in a hotel and I am a very frequent traveller! We had the "luxury" rooms and they were huge, unusual in older European hotels. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean with 2 sinks/mirrors and a separate shower and tub. They even supplied bathrobes! The hotel was very convenient to the train and Metro stations and provided an excellent breakfast every morning. Hotel Riquet and Tommy get 5 stars from all of us!!

We had an Executive suite, which was large, comfortable, and beautifully laid out and decorated. We looked in a standard room and it was also clean, comfortable and tasteful, but a fair bit smaller. It's a 10 minute walk to the old centre, but convenient for the station. The small, heated outdoor pool is delightful.

Great hotel in Toulouse.

The hotel looks shabby from the outside but our room was superb. It was huge and obviously had been recently renovated. The bathroom was wonderful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were great too. No worries about speaking English either. The young man who served us at breakfast and at check-out time told us that the hotel will be closing soon for further renovations so it will be even better. Highly recommended for most people. (Families with young children might consider the area a little on the "seedy" side as there are a couple of adult shops and a strip club nearby. This didn't bother my wife and I, however.)

Un hôtel qui a peut être changé de propriétaire entre le moment du 3 étoiles et maintenant. Le personnel est très agréable et m'a accueilli chaleureusement.
Par contre les photos sont non contractuelles (ce qui n'est pas incohérents avec le prix de la nuit).
Des travaux de rafraichissement et d'insonorisation seraient à envisager. J'entendais ma voisine comme si elle était avec moi, â deux heures du matin...
Sinon literie confortable et proche de toutes commodités.

Situé dans un quartier calme, proche de tout (la gare, le quartier de l’église de Saint Sernin, …) Je suis arrivée avant 15h mais la chambre était déjà prête. Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique. La chambre, propre, insonorisée et confortable. Elle est aussi doté d’un bon climatiseur.
Un seul petit bémol la connexion internet peut être améliorée.

Quando si entra nella hall sembra che l’hotel sia chiuso per quanto c’è poca luce . Spazi comuni fatiscenti . Solo una tenda oscurante in camera . Se si lascia aperta per avere la luce del giorno siamo senza tenda di fronte ad uffici . Nella hall c’era il passaggio di diverse persone con piatti in mano , non si capiva se erano persone che vivevano fisse lisce . Posto molto strano . Pulizia ok ma nel bagno il lavandino era rotto e nella doccia il silicone era messo in modo scandaloso …

Hotel qui gagnerait à être rénové

Hotel idéalement placé, avec un personnel très sympathique. Hélas les chambres sont assez anciennes, les moquettes sont tachées et certains équipements ne sont pas dans un état présentable (mobilier, climatisation...).
La propreté générale est à revoir, la tapisserie sur certains murs se décolle (c'est pourtant pas compliqué d'y remédier rapidement). Le petit déjeuner était cher (12euros) pour un choix très restreint.
Les équipes restent serviables arrangeantes et sympathiques.

Chambre censée être moderne : pas du tout, très vieillotte, abîmée, moquette terreuse. SDB rudimentaire mais avait l'air propre. Je nai pas vu de cafards comme dans certains autres commentaires mais nous n'y avons finalement pas dormi ma fille n'étant pas rassurée. La personne de la réception etait sympathique. Gros décalage entre la description de l'hôtel sur le net et la réalité. A vraiment besoin d'un bon gros rafraîchissement ! Je suis très déçue cest la 1ere fois que cette situation m'arrive.

Loved the room. Clean and tidy. No noise from outside with doors closed. I would have liked more wall outlets in the room to load my phone. There is only one, very high on the wall ( had to stand on a chair to use it).

Excellent accueil, au pied lever apres qu'expedia ait indûment annulé une réservation faite dans un autre hôtel...

Ce qui est sûr est que je n'utiliserai plus cette plate-forme pour reserver : vive le contact direct avec un humain intelligent

D’un autre temps et peu recommandable

Je cherche du positif, mais je n’en trouve pas.
Du bruit toute la nuit, une chambre « supérieure » dans un état lamentable.
Une literie horrible, trous dans le plafond, moquette vieille et qui faisait vraiment pas propre.
Papier peint arraché bref je déconseille

La chambre n'était pas du tout conforme à la photo présentée. La moquette au sol semblait à la fois sale ou usée, les murs tristes,. Il n'y avait même pas une lampe de chevet ! La ventilation dans la salle de bain s'est fait entendre toute la nuit...

Nos gustó la tranquilidad del alojamiento y sobre todo la buena predisposición de los chicos de la recepción. Pudimos dejar nuestras maletas desde las 06:00 a.m (hora de llegada del bus), hasta las 14:00 (hora de check-in). El wifi no funcionó en el iPhone de mí novia. Lo demás bien!

Parfait pour une nuit

Un stop d une nuit à Toulouse. L hôtel est très bien. Bon rapport qualité prix, très proche de la gare et du centre.

Il check-in è stato molto semplice e alla reception ci sono state date informazioni utili anche sulla città e gli spostamenti. La locazione dell'albergo è molto conveniente dato che si trova vicino alla stazione Toulouse Matabiau.
La camera era carina, comoda e soprattutto pulita.
Peccato per lo stabile che è un pò vecchio.

駅から5分。部屋も広くトイレとシャワーが別になっているのがありがたい。
欲を言えば、浴槽があれば非常によいのだがそれは仕方ない事で。近くにはスーパーあります。
