This property was maybe a 4 star hotel 30 years ago. Three stars on its best day now. I’d say it’s a solid 2.5. The hotel is tired and needs a multi million euro update.

Our first room AC worked poorly and the carpet was in extremely poor condition. The shower is pretty lame with a half glass wall so everything in the bathroom gets wet. Also the plastic hose to the shower twists under water pressure resulting in water everywhere. We ended up changing rooms after the first night.

The staff on the other hand was four stars. Very helpful and pleasant. Also the location can’t be beat. Right in the center of town. Walk to everything in minutes.

I wish I could recommend this hotel, but I will not sadly!! One member of staff in particular made me feel low. The receptionist, who ignored all my efforts to explain a word ‘pillow’….. although I even googled and showed her the images how a pillow looks like. I was asking for 2 extra pillows for my children, but she couldn’t be bothered to do anything. Perhaps my expectations of the International chain hotel were higher or at least some basic English knowledge would be a bonus. I also asked her to fix our shower basin, which was blocked therefore we could take only a very quick shower. I asked twice. Nothing was done. And lastly a cleaner didn’t come in the afternoon when we were out although I did ask to clean our room in the reception before we left. The answer was that the cleaner saw ‘do not disturb’ sign and left. Yes, I agree that was in the morning, not in the afternoon though. No apology nothing at all. There was a wonderful receptionist Michelle, who was really helpful and kind. She made us smile and happy! Big credit to her!
On a positive note the location of the hotel was great! Easy to access and walkable everywhere. The terrace was an excellent addition to our spacious room. It was just a few minutes walk from the train station, which was very convenient as we took a train to beautiful Albi.

Get full address of parking into google maps

Lovely hotel space. NO PARKING NEARBY! Arrived late afyer flight delay. Given random tiny paper map with no conclusive directions to a car park and no instructions avout it. We got lost going around and around for 30 -40 ninutes and wnded up back at the hotle to ask advice. By then it was midnight.
Was advised incorrect location when i asked staff to put car parknon my google maps. Said so, foind another person whomput.correct address in. Parked car.
Told was free as part of the hotel, then was charded 15euros and was told we we were lucky as it would be 30 euros otherwise. Was told by staff no on else ever had an issue and they didnt care
Plus then charged the 3.60 euro city tax which was fine as i expected that.
Was givien no info re breakfast times on arraval. Brilliant it went till 10 am as we had to get up at 5am due to a fire allarm. We had 3 gours sleep.
The breakfast was nice. Room clean. Get location. Terrible check in service. Terrible parking information. Terrible response to a single mum and child trying very hard to get a good night sleep

What a horrible 48 hours! We booked a suite with a terrace and had a late check in from delayed flights. We got to our room at midnight and it was as hot as a sauna. Of course no sleep on night 1. In the morning we told the desk and they sent a technician to check it out who said the ac had a larger problem. They moved us to a new room and at midnight it was as hot as a sauna again. Go to the front desk and they move us to a 3rd room. Had to repackage and pack again. 3rd room in 48 hours and about 7 hours sleep at this hotel. After all these horrible inconveniences they comped us 2 drinks and 48 euros. I won’t even tell you what we actually paid 6 months in advance. Total ruined our time in a city that bears our name!

Quiet room. Really quiet despite being on the 2nd floor in the middle of a corridor. Windows facing the inside courtyard.

Really dirty looking carpets throughout. Light beige color, therefore completely stained everywhere. Should have been replaced long ago.

AC not really controllable as always in most hotels.

Breakfast below average:
-food quality just average. And mostly cold.
-coffee machines never serviced and mostly in need of maintenance.
-too crowded around 8:30am. Lines to access foods and coffees.

The man at reception around 6:00 pm August 9th was inattentive. He could not give us any information on cost of taxis. We asked him to order a taxi for the next day but he forgot. Our room smelled like sewage but in fairness we got a change of room straight away.

The room was okay but unable to get to window or one side of the bed due to lay out of furniture.

Mould and peeling sealant around the bath.

Breakfast wasn't great - cold eggs and shared utensils!

Location was excellent and was an affordable hotel so would consider staying again.

The staff, room, bathroom were all excellent. Big bed, perfect modern facilities (shower etc). Only 2 problems I had were not the fault of the hotel at all: crying infants/loud child crying & dropping heavy items in adjacent room + the massively noisy motorcycles/scooters/mopeds that have modified mufflers to e tract the maximum noise as they drive through town. This last is a problem for Toulouse, but is also in need of police attention/enforcement in many cities & towns all over the world. If you want to get a quiet night’s sleep, I suggest you do NOT stay in a central location... or, as I’ve learned, use a white noise app on your smartphone to drown out the crying babies & bike heroes! Novotel was perfect otherwise!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location close to everything a tourist wants to see. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable!! The breakfast that was included in my price was excellent and the items available were exactly like a North American is used to - bacon, sausages, eggs, toast, pancakes, cereal, yougurt, all the coffee you wanted as well as all the ingredients of a typical Continental Breakfast, And the hotel staff, I cannot say enough good things about them. They were very kind, helpful and pleasant and genuinely appeared happy to be of service. If ever I return to Toulouse, I will definately stay there again!.

Very clean and fresh and contemporary décor in all areas. Excellent location on Place Wilson near to the metro station but also a park directly opposite was a good escape and a place to sit and read. The shopping, cafes and restaurants in nearby streets was excellent. Room great and comfortable - on small side but I think that is normal in a city. Used the sauna and steam room (no pool or jacuzzi). Breakfast great but would have liked facility to make pancakes or waffles fresh.

My welcome into this property was great, the gentleman was incredibly nice and friendly.

The stay was also great and I had everything I needed.

Unfortunately, on departure there was no one at the counter and as I attempted to leave my key on the desk a lady approached me and took my key with attitude and then proceeded to chase me for the city tax, which I mistakenly forgot. She proceeded to watch me look for my payment app on my phone and when I had found it she told me they did not accept contactless payment. The whole situation felt hostile and left me with a bad ending to the trip.

The deposit I paid has still not been returned to me, it was €90, which is a substantial amount to take for 12 days, when my trip was only 2 days long.

Pretty chic, clean and comfortable. Only complaint is the large bed barely fit in the room. Spacious bathroom however. Would stay here again.

Central, smart hotel with sauna/steam room/jacuzzi & fitness room. 15 minute walk from the railway station and close to shopping and good restaurants. WiFi works fine and the room was comfortable and includes a fridge, safe and hair drier. The only issue I had was that the kettle did not work because it was unplugged and there was no simple way of getting to the socket (behind the fridge, through a hole in the built in cupboards). I was able to get a hot water thermos flask sent to my room. Aside from this, good value, smart hotel with professional staff

Good hotel right in the heart of Toulouse city, with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Hotel has quite standard rooms, ours only had one very small window which wasn't ideal, but we didn't spend much time in the hotel. The condition of some of the common facilities left a bit to be desired, but that may have been an isolated incident.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with a great position to all needed.

I chose this hotel for not only did it look nice but where it was positioned. 2 great restaurants Pizza & Brasserie either side hotel, tried them both and they were excellent. We asked for a view of the front, quiet with large windows and this is what they gave us it was perfect, room 318, no road noise and a pleasant view to wake up to. The only negative to our stay was that a family with 2 young children arrived in the room next to us on the second night and with the floors not being concrete managed to keep us awake most of the night. Such a shame as it kind of ruined our stay. The hotel could do with china cups not throw away ones and produce a little more coffee & milk (only 2 milk jiggers per person) not enough for us Brits who like a cuppa or 3.

The tram was a 2 minute walk to your left at the front of the hotel (Jean Jaures) easy to use 12 euro for a 3 day pass. Exit the hotel to your right you have all the shops, opera house & museum.

Overall as my stay was only to visit the hospital and the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They cannot control noise from families with young children and should you not have this your stay will be a perfect one.

Central position on vibrant square.

The hotel is really central ,bars/ restaurants down every street and outside the hotel spilling onto pavements. The reception area has the 'wow' factor when you walk in, its huge and very white. The reception staff are efficient but don't come across as very friendly.
Once upstairs the corridors are very long and the beige carpets are stained. Our room seemed like,an executive room, small double and quite cramped. The cups were made of paper to have hot drinks , a bit low for a,4 star hotel.
and 1 small bottle of water is given free between 2 people , no glass given to drink it. Rooms cleaned well each day and towels replaced. Air con quiet and efficient .Breakfast was fine lots of choices, the coffee in the machine wasn't nice and lukewarm. The hotel is in a great position and would recommend it but it isn't perfect behind its grand entrance. It's ok for a few days couldn't do a week here.

Great location, many nice features, but . . .

Many nice things about this hotel but they all got lost by the fact that the thermostat in our room did not work -- the room remained uncomfortably warm regardless of what we did with the control. We spoke to the people at the front desk twice and we also emailed the management but nothing changed. We finally managed by opening our window at night and putting ear plugs in our ears (to cancel out the street noise). But this was not what we expected from a \"four star\" hotel.

This hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Toulouse and is right in the centre of the action but still quiet at night.

We had a great breakfast here, the staff were very helpful and the room was exceptionally comfortable.

Standard hotel in a great location.

Stayed only one night in June. The hotel is located right in the centre of Toulouse on Place du Président Thomas Wilson, walkable distance to many sights, river, parks and restaurants. The room itself was modern with all the usual Novotel amenities. It was however very small and so was the bed. The staff in the Brasserie Le Capoul downstairs were not very friendly when we wanted to stop for only a drink. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold items with coffee machines serving very disappointing quality of coffee.

Hotel was very central and brilliant position for sightseeing and dining in Toulouse. Easy to get to from the airport and very picturesque. Spa was small but quiet so had it to ourselves most of the time. Modern room and amenities and cleaned daily. Take your own first aid kit though, incident on our last night - when pharmacies were closed - and despite a severe and bleeding cut the reception claimed they had no first aid kit. Luckily a bar man provided us with some of his own personal stuff so we could at least get the cut disinfected. Perhaps our fault for not being prepared but we did expect some help from the hotel since we were paying guests!

Stayed there only one night, but glad I didn't stay longer. This is not the kind of hotels you would stay for leisure, and it's just good if you are desperate for the night on a business trip. Impersonality, quality of a 3 star hotel, tiny rooms, and approximate cleanliness. Can do much better ghan that.
Internet is not working properly in rooms that are a bit remote. Signal is very weak.
Rooms with no view or no charm, some facing the ugly atrium of the inner courtyard and with vis-a-vis...
Really not the kind of place I would stay again.
Staff was at least ok, which is rare in France, but still provided little information.
Didn't try breakfast or gym.
Location is great, but many other hotels are located there so I would recommend others, because overall, for the service provided and quality it is quite an expensive hotel, and hotel Ours Blanc Wilson is a much better value and I would recommend that one.

AS they say location is everything & this hotel was in the center of all the action. It is a definite nice 4 star hotel for American standards. The rooms are small & he A/C was not the best- but the staff was always there to help you with any questions you may have. They do not have a concierge - so go directly the Tourist office in the next square.

Ours was a very brief overnight

We arrived very tired from our flights but we're very pleased with the location and condition of the hotel. A welcoming place to stay, stylish and very clean. We had a short evening out and then to our very comfy beds !

Ultra-modern ambiance

The hotel is right on a main square with lots of bars and restaurants (the one we picked at random after a tiring day wasn't particularly good). Toulouse is a good-sized city withlots going on. The rooms are fine (though the have the omnipresent duvets, which we dislike). The lobby is furnished in modern style, lots of white, not especially cozy. There is a bar with good service and a restaurant which we didn't try but probably should have.

Good hotel let down by fixable problems

This is a good quality hotel, clearly aimed at the business traveller, but with a great central location and good facilities including leisure/fitness centre and small fridge in the room.

However, the hotel has a serious problem with its wi-fi provision, which rarely holds up for longer than a few minutes at a time. When I raised it with staff, I was given an alternative wi-fi, but it suffered exactly the same problem. Over a five-night stay, this became a huge frustration.

I was also concerned at the wastefulness of the toiletries when the room was serviced. Every day, a new 40g bar of soap was placed in the bathroom along with new tubes of shower gel and shampoo, despite the fact that those from the day before had been barely used. If this is the same throughout the chain, the waste must be colossal.

I'd happily go back to this hotel, provided they could sort these things out. The location on Place Wilson is terrific for seeing the city and the other facilities were much appreciated.
