Very noisy until 5am, not only around the hotel, also in the rooms around ours. Staff was hit or miss, some of them very nice, helpful and kind, some of them very standoffish and rude.

This hotel is great. Really liked the neighborhood and decor. The parking garage is a half block away. Big underground public garage. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Decor is cool. Just felt like a nice place to be.

The hotel vibe is FUN! Our room was comfortable, clean and colourful. We loved the little notes on the mirrors. Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we were there so we didn't get to walk from the hotel as much as we wanted but we still appreciated how close the hotel was to many dining and shopping options. The entire environment from the rooms to the restaurant are welcoming and vibrant. The staff is exceptional at Mama Shelter Toulouse. Highly recommend for a budget conscious, super cool stay.

Loved the vibe of this hotel, especially the bar/restaurant area - good DJ’s and great food. However, they could’ve done with a couple of extra staff at key times (breakfast and dinner)
Room was clean, bed was comfy but no drawers for clothing
All in all a great weekend and would definitely stay at Mama Shelter again

There si no shampoo. or any other 4* quality amenities. The excuse was that they are trying to be more ecological - but that would be solved by bottles fixed to the wall to reduce one use plastics. It was a stress to arrive from NYC and have nothing in the room

A funky decor, this hotel has a great location and a fantastic breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed that it was handy the major metro intersection in an area with good restaurants and we could easily get to the activities we wanted. We were unhappy that we couldn’t lower the temperature in the room with out opening the windows on nights when others were celebrating rugby wins or late night music. Be forewarned that there is very little clothing storage provided.

Cool place to stay. Lovely breakfast spread and cool rooftop bar. We stayed in the XL room which I recommend. Staff was lovely and very helpful. Ask for a quiet room. I think the lower rooms may be a bit noisy as it's on a main street close to clubs.

A very unusual, funky, and fun hotel. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, the rooms were sufficiently big (although somewhat weird!), and you couldn't ask for a better location if you're exploring the historic center of town. I'd happily stay again.

charged a different price than the one book

globally unhappy. the booking was done at 149 euros and the hotel charged me without any reason 170 euros, sounds they allocated me to a larger room that i did not ask for. when i complain they said that Hotel. com charges fees, which is wrong. the person at the reception was not eager to help at all. here are no quiet place to work inside the hotel, the only space being hte restaurant full of loud music. the quality price is not tehre and you could find far better hotel for 170 and charging another price than the one agreed is not acceptable. first time i experienced that in my long use of Hotel ./ com.

The room has a lot of character -- who doesn't want Darth Vader hanging over their head while sleeping? (You need to have a sense of humor to stay at Mama Shelter!) The rooms are very minimalist and eco-friendly, so don't expect lots of frills. Delightful rooftop bar to enjoy a lively happy hour scene. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. Within 5 minutes walking distance to the Capitole, as well as trendy Place St. Georges. I enjoyed my stay!

Impeccable service!

Immensely enjoyed my stay here. Really comfortable bed and very quiet room. The location was very central too. I was particularly impressed by the service. Everything was so seamless. I usually find one part of a hotel’s service to be weaker than the others, but here all the staff from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping worked so well together! I’m hoping to come back soon!

Wonderful. Amazing service from all the staff from check-in to check-out. Great design, fantastic bed & bathroom, great breakfast. We loved the restaurant and bar and the great DJ. Will definitely stay again, as Toulouse is beautiful and well worth a visit.

We booked the 'small' room, and underestimated just how small it is. Would happily stay at the Mama Shelter in Toulouse again, but wouldn't recommend the 'small' room.

The mama shelter hotel in Toulouse is a wonderful place! I loved my stay there, because of the friendliness of the staff but also the incredibly funky design. Whilst I love my stay, I do wish to add that this hotel is primarily geared towards couples, groups of friends and families. I was travelling by myself, so I felt a little bit alone at times (for some reasons I thought this would be the place where former backpackers who started working, doing well etc would stay, so a social environment). Will I return to mama shelter (whether in Toulouse or elsewhere) no doubt about it. I already told my friends about it. So next time I will bring those friends to have an even better experience.

Food was good, wine delicious. Did not try the breakfast unfortunately. Both check-in and check out was great! Especially checkout by maxime was fantastic. Lovely guy who knew what he was doing.

The hotel is new and very trendy. The room was comfortable. Missed having USB charging sockets, and the shower door had a crack so water leaked out. Also the shampoo was terrible.
Staff were nice and lent us an adaptor for our electronics.

Petit déjeuner très sympa avec fruit frais coupés.

Mais thermostat de la chambre non réglable et il a fait horriblement chaud .
Signalé à l’accueil pour essayer de mieux gérer la deuxième nuit on me répond qu’on est en « transition » . On n’est plus tout à fait en hiver mais ps encore en été et donc thermostat bloqué sur 22°. J’ai très mal dormi malgré une chambre vraiment tres belle et très confortable .
Je trouve ça dommage.

L’accueil au top comme toujours et le petit dej pas mal pour un végétarien.
Les chambres ne sont pas hyper bien insonorisés entre chambres mais ça reste aceptable par rapport au reste.

Il s’agissait du week-end de l’Ascension, beaucoup de jeunes ont fait la fête jusqu’à 5h du matin et j’avoue que cela m’a réveillé et au petit déjeuner on m’a dit simplement c’est de leur âge ils ont raison,, il faut que jeunesse se passe pas de soucis

Manque une machine à café et une bouilloire à thé dans la chambre. Pas assez de produits de salle de bain. Le room service est à récupérer à l’accueil : dommage.
