The rooms are beautiful, clean, has all the conveniences of home. We loved it!! The views are absolutely incredible. And seeing the Mama bear and her 3 little cubs in their natural habitat was indescribable. The staff were Amazing and there's plenty to do just on site. Highly recommend this place!!
Willie
Outstanding we enjoyed the food
Andres
When having this listing on Expedia, it should clearly say that waterpark is not included with the resort. It’s very misleading. So you make reservations because you want to take your kids to a waterpark and turn around and have to spend additional money for waterpark tickets.
Juan
The place is beautiful and relaxing
Melissa
Kids and adults had a great time celebrating the 4th of July I think it should be mentioned clearly in the ad that the indoor water park is not included in the stay. We did end up paying the extra and didn’t really feel it was worth it. Maybe in the winter it would be tho.
Raj
Very poor breakfast
Carol
We have a wonderful time!!!
Amy
Just do your homework and make sure you are aware of fees for the water park fees

The resort property is nice with good outdoor pools and amenties. However, I was disappointed in the room we got at the high price point. It was well decorated with modern amenities but small. The ceiling were very low which made me duck past fans, it was also a tad dusty. It gave minor claustrophobic feels. The worst part was the complete lack of any view, it had one small window which was completely blocked by trees. We drove 10+ hours for a mountain resort and it felt like we got the closet of rooms.
Rose was not super friendly at check in. They told me this was a non smoking property but people were smoking at all trams stops. People were smoking in the unit next to us and left cups of cigarettes butts around. The views around the resort are great.

La habitación era muy vieja, necesitaba remodelación. La limpieza deja mucho q desear

Before booking check and see what all is included. We were under impression waterpark included, it was not! They are not flexible in any way, the staff half wonderful, the other half rude and useless. The room was excellent. No communication or signage on main road to direct you to entrance. The waterpark closes at 7 pm not 11. They gave us no information about anything on property!

A very nice stay, great location and views.

If the Waterpark was included and not charge extra it would be a great place to stay in every family vacation.

Rosa
I don't said nothing about only is very nice place ,comfortable ,clean ,friendly people

The property was between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, along a forested hillside. It was nice to feel remote but only a few miles for restaurants & shopping.

The only thing I need to complain about is the waterpark should come with the room!

This was a nice place to stay for trip to the GSMNP with 2 children (age 5 and 9) The kitchenette was important for us to have for our longer trip and to reduce eating out. Room was decently clean and stocked with basic appliances and plenty of towels. Room was large and made it comfortable for our family of 4 to maneuver. Some negatives included not receiving any service in our room over the course of our 5 days, which was fine with the exception of the garbage, we managed the garbage ourselves. I also wish the appliances came with even basic instructions. The shower, the washer/dryer, the dishwasher, the stove.... it was difficult to determine if things were broken or if we weren't using them properly. Toaster was broken and oven has no temperature measurement, among other nuances.
I didnt read all the fine details of the place and didnt know using the waterpark wasn't included in our stay (quite an added expense when we used the waterpark as our deciding factor to stay here). Also, didn't know this was a large time share resort and so much is wrapped up into attending seminars which are pushed. We refused to spend our time with this.
But, the outdoor pool and mini golf options were included and our kids <10 had a great time with these simpler amenities. Also, appreciated they had life jackets on hand. Would we go here again? Maybe. I'd do more comparison with other places and ensure the booking was worth it. But, I'd book again if it made sense.

Loved it all was wonderful

Indoor Waterpark closed all but 3-4 days out of our 2 week stay, they closed an outdoor pool leaving 1 small pool for all guests. They do not ask to change sheets or clean, leaving you to ask for clean sheets and towels
Danielle
It was amazing!! The waterpark was closed but we didn’t really care the resort as so much fun!! We went to the pool a lot since it was still open so that helped. They also had some free things set up for us since the waterpark was closed so that was nice too. My kids and I give it a 10/10!! We will definitely be trying it again sometime soon 😁

After traveling all day from the West Coast, the last thing we wanted was a sales pitch to become a Westgate owner. The sales associate who we were taken to after checking in, was very annoyed with us when we were not interested in hearing the rest of her sales pitch. Even stated it out loud. If it wasn’t for her, I would have rated our experience as an overall excellent experience.
Jewell
The resort is beautiful, but staff is indifferent and nonchalant , many of the advertised amenities where closed for repair, and there were additional charges on my bill after I arrived which negated the discounted price on hotels.com.
Tim
We have stayes here the last 3 years on our trip to Gatlinburg we love it
Gerardo
Resort is beautiful but once I checked in I noticed door was coming of the hinge (note I do have a toddler and baby) it got fixed following day other issue was light in bathroom kept flickering told them about it but they didnt switch out a simple 1 or 2 light bulbs. I kept the do not disturb sign for 2 days after that it was off never got trash picked up had to dump out my own trash ok no biggy but the biggest issue was water park was closed thats the whole reason why we booked what a bummer. Best thi g they could have done is upgrade our room or wave cleaning fees sowmthing to balance it out I wouldn't book again id go elsewhere
Justina
Booked for the water park and the accesible pools.
When we got there, we're told the water park was shut down but the pools and hot tubs had lifts.
Hot tub lift broke while my husband was in the hot tub. Took nearly an hour for anyone to come and switch the battery. Was told numerous times the pool lifts would be in working order for the next day. Again, not the case. It was hot and humid and once again he couldn't access the pool. We waited over an hour and no one showed up to assist.
Chose this hotel specifically so that my wheelchair user husband could enjoy the pool. Called before booking, re confirmed numerous times that the pool lifts were all in working order. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

The indoor waterpark was closed but honestly it was still awesome!! They have 2 other pools and there is another waterpark 30 minutes away so we are going to that tomorrow!!

Family friendly

Unfortunately the water park was closed and I was not informed about it until I checked in. It was one of the main reasons for choosing the resort so I was disappointed by that. Other than that everything was great. The cabin was very clean and the property was very easy to access all the accommodations.

The location is absolutely stunning, affordable, and offers plenty to do without having to leave the grounds. They offer shuttle buses to take you around the resort. Please note: the water park does cost additional funds: but it’s absolutely worth it.

Great stay!!!
Alejandra
Beautiful villas. Everyone is friendly. We will definitely go back. Except for one thing even tho it was clean the bathrooms need a little more cleaning there was a lot of hair. And the jacuzzi need more cleaning. Maybe you guys could run it after people leave because it had balls of hair coming out. When we turned on.
Justin
Will definitely be our go to place in the future. Loved it

Great place to stay. Outdoor swimming pool was heated.

A lot of extra fees that are not mentioned

Food was great, water Park was closed for 2 of our 3 full days. View was incredible, but room needs some deep cleaning and an update. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows were terrible and sheets were like sandpaper. Worst sleep I've had on vacation.

No free meals, everything is expensive and food isn’t even good. Stayed for 4 days, housekeeper didn’t come by ONCE. Even upon request after slipping down stairs and spraining my ankle security said they would put in a ticket for us. On the last day I couldn’t take it anymore I went and found garbage bags, a mop and broom because I had 2 kids with me and they get messy! So you’re welcome for doing your job. There was little to no ability to play outside since there were no sidewalks and no grassy areas either so we just hung out at the pool in order to have some nature time. Oddly enough, I’m glad to be back in Minnesota. That areas is too overpopulated and over polluted, too dry and not peaceful
Daniel
Exceptional !!!✨✨✨✨

Clean room, friendly staff, wish I would have known the waterpark closed at 7pm.

The hotel was nice and lovely, the staffs are very friendly but the water park don’t come with the hotel. I wasn’t expecting to pay for water park when it should in the pricing.
Sheila
Very clean. The unit had everything we needed for ADA guests. It was comfortable. We had two units that were connected. The one with the king-size bed and balcony was perfect, but the one with the queen bed was very dark and felt more cramped. We enjoyed our stay but it was very busy especially around the oil and lobby.
FELIPE
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so they upgraded us. Kinda of happy it wasn’t ready because we got an amazing room, very roomy, clean, with an Amazing view. The staff was super nice, specially Robert. My kids loved the Waterpark and the Escape room. Bottom line we won’t be staying at any other resort but this one in the future.
Courtney
We booked this stay specifically for the water park and proximity to the national park. We were happy with the proximity to the park and the room matched description. Unfortunately room smelled like marijuana through the stay. It is is not clearly stated but the waterpark is NOT included. It would have cost our family $130. It was a small waterpark and we chose not to spend this amount of money for what was offered. We did attempt to visit the outdoor pool which was nicely heated. The pool snack shack was not open despite being told it would be open during these hours. The pool area also heavily smelled of marijuana. We ordered pizza for in room delivery our first night. Had we known it would be 90 minutes for pizza to arrive would not have done this, the kids were already asleep when it arrived. The pizza was good though. Overall we would not stay again.
Tammy
Main reason booked was for water park pool Was ok clean wouldn’t book again

Water park is not included pay separately other then that 10/10 100% amazing place to stay must come back again

Very clean, nice resort
Ida
This was a really nice place, rooms were clean. It’s located on top of the mountain so it’s hard to get up there in a car and you could never walk it, but you should stay here at least once.
Kanisha
This resort was very clean and smelled cleaner!! The front desk was very friendly and great customer service!
FYI please keep in mind that you will have to buy tickets to do the indoor water park. Which I thought was included 😬 other than that we loved everything about it. One request add another bonfire by the 7000 building!

I am surprised that no reviews mention this is a timeshare. When we checked in, I asked about waterpark passes. I was told that the concierge would help with that. That’s when I found out about the timeshare. They said we could attend a 90 minute presentation &tour w/ breakfast and get free water park admission, among a few other things. I really only wanted the water park passes but agreed. The breakfast was at 10am the next day. I have 2 pre-teens with me. The breakfast was horrible and we chose not to try the food at the resort as a result. The \"90 min\" presentation turned into a 5 hour ordeal w/multiple people attempting to talk us into joining and the price going lower &lower. I told them it didn’t make sense for us and with the ever increasing cost of living, I can’t add any other monthly expenses. I think they would have kept us there until it was time for them to leave. My daughter went back to the room b/c she was so upset. My son and I walked out before they could send a third person. We did not get our free water park passes. Our entire first day of vacation was wasted and we were mentally drained. We paid $35 ea for the waterpark which only has 2 big slides and my kids were ready to leave after 2 hours. They did not want to get in any of the pools bc the water was extremely dirty looking. There is no housekeeping and only “owners” get towels replaced. There is only one towel rack so our towels inevitably ended up on the floor. I would recommend a different lodge.

Not happy too many processes to check in. Water park not included. Parking sucks not enough to park. Will not stay here again.

Clean room and friendly staff.

Light fixtures misses on ceiling fan in living room, light over dinning table hanging so low it was hard to sit at the table without bumping your head, no broom to sweep floor, ac did not work well and was very stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep at night. The water area is not included in price and you have to buy tickets. Security was excellent as well as the check in process.

Very funny and amazing

Very nice place , very clean , there is good secury , shuttle buses inside primeses , this is a top notched hotel!

At the time I made the reservation for the Hotel I got carried away by most of the comments and to be fair the Hotel since one we did the check-in, everything very polite and professional, one of the representatives offers us to take one of the available packets as to go to the water park for free but she tells us that we should receive a 90-minute talk about the property and the benefits they offer, so far everything is going very well and I really knew that they are very persistent in terms of wanting to sell the timeshare, the representative Juan at the beginning very friendly, but after saying that we were not interested in buying the timeshare he brought the manager and with the same insistence, already at this point 3 hours had passed, and at this point I tell him that we only wanted to leave and we were already not interested in receiving for free the entrance to the water park, in a very bad way this representative sends us a green form and sends us to the first floor, so be careful if you sign for timeshare orientation because most likely will take more than the 90 minutes they mention.

Our room was awesome. Clean and quiet.

The property and staff are lovely. My friend and I didn't realize that we would need a car or shuttle to get around the property as it is very large and set into steep hills. So not like a place where you can walk to one of the restaurants. The first night, we arrived after dark and were given instructions how to find our cabin, but had a very frustrating time navigating and wondering around in the dark and trying to find the specific building our rooms were in. It was quite frustrating. My suggestion is guests arriving at night should be offered a golf court escort to guide us up to where our rooms were. That would have made all the difference to us when we arrived very tired and couldn't find our way around.
Steven
While the property itself was nice, i would caution others from staying here as all the amenities (ie waterpark, activities) cost add'l money. Very poor communication (took 2 tries to get them to send towels) yet they are constantly sending texts wanting excellent feedback. The property itself does not have a good infrastructure (2 pools to accommodate all guests) and it's on a hill so you either drive, walk up or down or wait for their buses. Sadly there are much better cheaper options available.
Scott
Everything is great. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Only had a couple small issues, but we will definitely be staying here anytime we come back in the future.
