The location and staff were good but the room smelled of mold. The photos looked good but the bath tub was peeling and had mold under the shower floor mat and in the cocking around the bath room the ceiling and walls were peeling. The shower literally had times where there was no pressure so the water was barely coming out. If ur goal is to be cheap I guess do what you gotta do. The only good thing was that it’s not in a ghetto or bad area. Just really needs to be updated.

Classic you get what you pay for experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent but not spectacularly clean. No bugs or hair so I can live with it. The first room the AC didn’t work, they moved us immediately so I was grateful for that.

We stayed at gatlinburg mountain inn for a week during a trip to the smokies - and the stay can be summarized in two words: millipede infestation.
At first we stayed in room 108, we saw a millipede in the bathroom and thought nothing of it. Then we saw another one, then another. I woke up in the morning and found 3 in or around the bathroom. And one night, I killed at least 7 millipedes in less than 2 hours.
At this point we talked to hotel staff (who were friendly), but they told us that this is a Gatlinburg problem and not a problem with their hotel. We asked to be moved to a different room and we were moved to 109. This one was maybe better in terms of quantity of millipedes but it was the same thing. One morning I counted 5 millipedes, and on our last day there was one on the ceiling next to the smoke detector. These millipedes were always appearing in the back of the rooms, far away from the door, and I think they were coming out from some opening around the AC units.
Our stay was <$500 for a week in June, walking distance from the downtown and really close to the national park. Had it not been for the millipedes this place would’ve gotten 10/10. Granted there was also no hand soap in the bathroom but for the price we paid I was happy to get a $1.24 soap from Walmart and leave the rest of it for the next guest.

The motel was in such a great location and a lot quieter than on the gatlinburg strip which was ideal for what we wanted. It was a flexible check in time and the staff were very nice and helpful with local recommendations. The room was spacious and had all amenities we needed. Would recommend!

Dirty room. There was some sort of millipede infestation in the bathroom area. I get it, sometimes bugs get inside, that's not a big deal, but I'm pretty sure there was a nest/colony or something in the wall. I killed at least 25 of them one night and they just kept appearing from somewhere. I decided to cut my stay short because it just felt gross.
Additionally, there was hair all over the bathroom, and generally it looked like the place hadn't been cleaned before my arrival. Staff was friendly and accommodating at least, but overall I just don't recommend staying here.

This was our second stay here. It's close to the strip but yet quiet to rest. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Simple hotel but that's ok with us because we one down to get out and explore not hang out in the room. It's a nice clean space to get rest for the night. We will continue to book with them

HORRIBLE experience. The room was infested with ticks and other insects. It’s a cheap, low quality place. The rooms aren’t that clean either. There was no shampoo, conditioner, nor body wash in the shower. We asked to be moved and there wasn’t another one available. We had no choice but to leave and go to another hotel. They don’t have a working phone so I’m still going through hell to get my refund from expedia. Trust me, stay away from this place.

The staff is always excellent at this place.I have no complaints on them.Whatsoever. there's not a whole lot of shops nearby unless you wanna walk about a mile to get to where you wanna be.But across the street there is a place you can rent the scooters and u t vs and a t v's. Parking is free and there is plenty of parking for their facility. All in all , it was a pretty good place to stay in very affordable.

When we arrived we were promptly checked in and shown our room; room was not clean: toilet dirty, bedding appeared slightly stained; cobwebs and dust on ceiling and surfaces; room was promised to have free WiFi but the tv was unable to connect and did not have cable; room was cold could see outside from heating/cooling unit; thermostat difficult to reach near the ceiling with no stool or anything to use to adjust; hair dryer wouldn’t work; some lighting was broken or otherwise in need of repair or replacement. Price of the room wasn’t expensive however even bare minimum expectations were not met with our stay and we left disappointed. Will not stay again.

Stay was okay, room was just clean but not super clean. Room heating was good. Faced issues with water pressure on both the days, water stopped following for 5-7 minutes until it started again. Had to take break in the shower. Location is good, stay was peaceful. While Checking in, the girl did not answer the questions straight ( for example, when asked if you have hot tub in the hotel, she said we have tub in the bathroom and laughed ). Anyway, you can stay if you are used to staying in standard motels.

Hotel was convenient to everything in Gatlinburg. Found a nice little Italian Restaurant right across the street as well as a small convenience store. The free Trolley dropped us off right at the hotel. The staff was the best on our whole trip very helpful an informative.

We’ve stayed here before and never had any issues. So we was very disappointed when we came back a second time and had these issues.

The smell in the room was overwhelming on the first night so my wife left to sleep at another hotel. The next morning we packed up and left. We wasted our money in a room that we couldn’t even sleep in. Of course they never even mentioned a refund

Was given a key to a room that was dirty. Then worker re-directed me to a clean room, but couldn’t get a key right away. I was told i would get one later. I left and got dinner and was gone for 2 hours. Came back and worker stated still not able to give me room key. It was inconvenient to pay upfront for a room, then be given a dirty room. Then not having access to a contracted room i paid for without a key is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Will never be back. You get what you pay for.

The beds were very comfortable for our one night stay. There was an issue with our ac unit, the staff was quick to exchange us to a neighboring room. Staff was very friendly, some of the best I’ve experienced in gatlinburg. Note that the location is somewhat of a walk to the strip, but being said, some awesome dining locations are located across the street from hotel.

Last minute Anniversary trip
It does not offer many amenities, but it is close to downtown Gatlinburg and it has on sight free parking. The rooms were clean but the shampoos and travel sizes were not replenished daily. There is a convenience store across the street and the flapjack breakfast 1/2 block away was awesome! It has a free trolley stop across the street as well, however given the traffic and time of year, walking is recommended. We would definitely stay there again. Those looking for a higher end motel/hotel probably would be disappointed.
