The unit 402 is a 2 out of 10, we would not stay in that unit again. There are several issues with the unit. The main air conditioner in the living room worked poorly and was extremely old.
No central air. The Master bedroom had no a/c and we opened the window to find the screen had a huge hole in it. It was very hard to sleep. The 2nd bedroom had a new a/c unit in the room…however not a single lamp worked in the room so there was no light. Unit 402 is extremely outdated through out. Behind the fridge there were 3 different paint colors unfinished.. The microwave was at-least 25 years old, cabinets and kitchen outdated, looked awful. Honestly it was just gross. It was very disappointing for Father’s Day/husbands bday. The building itself looked nice. Pool area was nice and the location was great! 402 was just a huge disappointment.

Overall the condo was very nice, we had to roll up the rug in the living room and move it out to the back balcony as it smelled very bad and the refrigerator took so time to get cold. The kitchen had everything we needed and them some. The corner unit was great,had a large balcony and gave us a great view into downtown Gatlinburg. Was a great location,close enough to town but just far enough away to get away from the crowds.

The Mountain View was beautiful!! I loved how everything was a walking distance. Didn’t have to look for parking. We could leave our vehicle at the property and walk to Dowtown. Will definitely becoming coming back!!

The condo met our needs. It is convenient to walk to the Gatlinburg strip. The cost is reasonable. The gas fireplace was not working, so I called and maintenance came right away to get it going. It is an older building and could use some updates. This was the second time we have stayed at Gatlinburg Chateau and I am sure we will again.

The room was ok, very old, outdated and smelled like my grandma’s place. The pull out bed in the sofa was broke, the bed spread had stains on it, the chairs were stained but is close to the strip. Check-in and out was contact-less and they are very responsive via email. Overall ok for our short stay.

The place was clean and conveniently located at the end of the strip. But I thought the rating on Expedia was higher than it deserves. The elevator broke halfway through our stay so, ended up walking 4 flights of stairs and 2 more to the parking lot and another flight to street level, every time I left. I did get a partial credit for the inconvenience. Probably won't stay here again.

The only thing i didn't like was that the Freezer didnt keep our stuff frozen seemed like it needs to be turned down cooler. Other than that we loved it and we will be back again to sray .

In general, it was good. My only real complaint is that the kitchen is very tight and there is very little space to actually put any groceries. And in the tight space, it would have been helpful if the refrigerator door and some cabinets opened the opposite way from what they did. As it was, the space was very tight and the opening of these doors made it even more awkward.

We had a wonderful time. There was only one issue, there was a bear that spent a lot of time at the condo. It was fun for pictures but sad to learn the bear would probably be put down before she became aggressive.

On arrival noticed parking was limited then unloading luggage noticed nothing is handicap friendly there were a not anything other than stairs we had to pull luggage up to get to the elevator. Then we get to room it was not clean I had to clean it, limited dishes no washing machine or dryer as any condo I’ve rented. To top it off it was roach infested. I do not recommend this place at all!!

The property is within walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions. Our particular unit had outdated appliances & the bed was placed on wooden blocks. I would suggest getting pest control on-site because we saw several roaches within our rented unit, too. Overall, it was a decent stay considering that nothing in life is perfect

The place is okay….Safety wise not recommended. Cleanliness is not up to the mark… Bed is making lot of noises.I would say property is in pretty bad condition …place is very stinky and smells bad…with smoke smell and felt very uncomfortable. Main door light didn’t work , Microwave’s not working,There is no light in the second bedroom.Staff was very responsive. Overall I will not recommend the place. One good thing is the property is located close to gatalinburg downtown. That is the position side. I would prefer for those who want to stay in the valley and don’t really care about the condition go for it.

The property was very nice overall. The rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. The decor also made the space feel very homey and welcoming.

The only issue we had was regarding the ac unit. Air didn't flow well throughout the whole space, due to the small vents. Would be better if there was a celing fan or another ac unit in the rooms.

Easy access to the 321 and 441 intersection. A little far to walk if you want to go to the opposite end of the parkway. Property has 2 bedrooms, with a bathroom off of each. A small kitchen area, and a sleeper sofa. We did enjoy the balcony as well, and looking out on the town.

Great place!

The unit 201 was very clean and close to the stairs for easy access to parking. The walk downtown was down hill but the walk back was mostly uphill. I think they need add a recliner and more kitchen cookware is needed. Overall great place to stay. Watch for bears as we saw a mama and her cubs. Best part of the trip.

The condo was very old. 3 lights in living room did not work, struggled to slide the shower doors open or closed, no towel rack in one and other rack was somewhat attached with a hole below evidently where it used to hang. Wasp nest in fake planter on balcony, husband was stung. Could only get one TV to work. Toilet in front bathroom (worse) was loose. Decorating throughout needs updated and Christmas items removed. Want to venture back to the 80's book this one!

This was very nice. Very clean. I would recommend this condo. Very nice view of downtown. Easy walk to downtown. Just be ready for a good walk up hill on way back to condo. Plenty of hot water and the pool was nice to get in after fun all day. This is a great place to stay. JUST WISH THIS WAS PET FREINDLY

It is located about 5-7 minutes drive from the center of the city, convenient enough to go anywhere around the town and in the neighboring areas.
The property is not really updated like a hotel room but functional enough with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one is smaller than the other, fairly clean, except the decorative pitcher (flower vase?) on the table. It was dirty and a dead bug was inside. But we put it away during the stay so it did not bother us.
The beds were comfortable, and the showers in both bathrooms worked fine.
The dishwasher was a little tricky to use. You have to really push the door at the upper corner to shut it. The function button and the start button were a bit confusing (non responding for a while). But it was simple enough to figure it out somehow.
Overall this place was nice, functional and spacious enough for a family of 3.

We stayed in #103 for the weekend. Condo was much bigger than expected and very nice. Parking was a little challenging as there are not many spaces available to park close the unit. Also wifi did not work well. Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again. :)

Almost everything was broken, old and outdated.
Broken toilet, tub was dirty and water wouldn't stop running, chair was broken, couch was ripped, floor felt as if it was falling in. We stayed in room 409 if you get this room you might wanna ask for another. They sent maint. to fix tub but he couldn't fix it. We asked for another rom they said they had none and were all booked at all the locations. Terrible. I emailed owners and have heard nothing back. Will never stay here again.

We booked gatlinburg chateau rentals. When I called they had us staying at another place laurel inn. They kept us at laurel inn so not as we booked The place is extremely small and beds were noisy and old so very bouncy. The stove and oven are very small much more like a kitchenette. The pots, dishes etc were extremely old and thankful I brought my own frying pan. They did not provide one. The fridge is small as well. I would not recommend staying here with a family.

Everything is ok except the dishwasher leaks on the floor and the toilets need replaced. They are outdated and sometimes wont flush. They put roil on the stove burners anr didnt plug them all the way in. I fixed that when i was there. I stayed in unit 109. its alittle outdated. Rod from ohio.

RUN to another place if you get room 408!! Horrible! The mattress is literally 20 years old. The manufacturer date is 6/16/1999! The place is old, the sofa is nasty, the floors were sticky, the appliances are OLD, and the a/c gave my wife and I some respiratory issues. The master bedroom was hot and the maintenance guy repaired the A/C unit with duct tape! RUN AWAY! The pics on the website are not of the available rooms on Expedia or at the office. They are of privately owned condos you rent from another site. We will never go back!! Don't know if I stressed this enough... RUN AWAY! Stay anywhere but here!

Great view, location, but no frills

It was enough room to fit 2 adults and 2 teenagers, plus the kitchen was nice to have. A few things were broke upon arrival but were fixed the next day. There is only someone there in the office between 9 and 6. It was an older building so not very luxurious and had a hot tub that was broke the entire time. The plus is the view! You could see almost all of Gatlinburg from the property. Of course that means a strenuous climb to get there if you are not driving. The location was far enough from the center of things to be quiet but close enough to walk places. It was worth it overall for the price because we did not spend a lot of time in the condo so why pay for luxury?

Location was excellent. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and kitchen facilities was great. Kitchen was lacking some basic dishes/flatware, but staff was able to get what we needed the next day. Beds were very NOISY. There’s no other way to describe it - moving on them was like sleeping on bubble wrap.

We were a group of three families. We enjoyed the extra space of these units and they were all clean. Of our three units, two were quite dated and one was updated & had a king sized bed in the master. I don't know if it is possible to request an updated unit or not. The location was great for Gatlinburg, however, our main reason for visiting the area was to ride on the Polar Express. The hotel info says it is 20 miles to Bryson City - this is NOT TRUE. Bryson City is 40 miles and 1 1/2 hours away.

We were a little skeptical about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but the price was right so we took a chance. Needless to say, we were very happy with the unit. A 2 bedroom condo at the price of a standard hotel room. The condo was clean and well kept. Added bonus is the location, walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. The only negative is the hot-tub was out of order. I'll definitely look to stay here again when we come back.
