The whole time we was there, no hot water, just Luke warm, they looked at it and did something and had hot water that evening and that was it.
Julie

The staff, breakfast, and location was amazing. A short walk to the strip but far enough away that it is pretty quiet. If we ever come back, we will be staying here.
Elizabeth
Excellent stay! Highly recommend!
Kodi
Super convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg with plenty of places that are walkable.
ALICIA
The location is GREAT. Property is well taken care of. Room was clean. Breakfast was fantastic.

Great Staff , very helpful . We had a blast ! Thanks in advance !
Shelby
Our children loved the indoor water slides! That was one of the main reasons we booked, and I’m so glad we did! We also liked how close the hotel is to downtown Gatlinburg. We walked downtown in under 5 minutes.
Wayne
Very nice place to stay. Clean, pleasant, great location and walking distance to all activities
Gina

Rachael
The grounds, room, and amenities were clean. Marcus and Miranda were so incredibly helpful and kind!! Anytime I needed anything, they went above and beyond. Big thank you to them for making our stay the best. The splash pad was way bigger than I thought it was going to be and the kids enjoyed it so much!
Amara
The pool chemicals were extremely strong when we stayed here. My daughter’s eyes were burned partially because she didn’t listen to me and keep her eyes closed and partially because the pool was so strong. A staff member gave me an eye rinse and that helped tremendously! I gave this hotel 5 stars even still, although I rated the amenities 4 stars because of this. The hotel manager made it right and adjusted my stay at check out when we left early and he also assured me maintenance would fix the pool situation. The water slides/splash pad weren’t an issue at all, only the pool. The rooms were really clean and had everything I would want out of a hotel room; however, if you’re traveling with an in law and 2 children like we were, I’d suggest booking a handicap accessible room so you have room for an air mattress. The breakfast was phenomenal and the coffee surprised my mother in law and I both. We’re coffee fanatics and hotels usually don’t have good coffee, but the coffee was amazing! Overall it is a great hotel. It’s very clean and the water park is amazing. Hopefully they get the pools chemicals balanced before our next stay. We plan to return next month for our son’s birthday. I’ll update then!
Madolyn
Very polite and helpful staff, always ready to help in a timely manner. Would gladly stay here again!

Had a wonderful time here, front desk associate Marcus was a great help and made the stay enjoyable for my family. Definitely have to go enjoy the waterpark!
ALICIA
This hotel was perfect for our family trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The family‑friendly atmosphere, great breakfast, and convenient location near Gatlinburg attractions made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Smokies.

Our room had a horrible mold/mildew smell coming from the AC unit. Room 120. We stayed in the room 2 nights and one of my kids got very sick. They changed rooms for us with kindness, but the lack of concern for the safety of that room concerned me. The beds were clean and very comfortable.
The indoor pool area was really hot and smelled very strongly of chlorine. The pancake machine from the breakfast bar was out of service our entire stay. The market by the front desk was completely empty save for some cheap water from Sam’s club and a few energy drinks. Over all the hotel felt like management didn’t care about the hotel conditions.
The entire staff we encountered was fantastic, kind, caring and quick to resolve issues.
Next time we are in gatlinburg, this is not the hotel we will use. Which is sad, as normally Holiday Inn express locations are fabulous and we always enjoy our stay.

Great location near the entrance to Smoky Mountain National Park. The breakfast and the indoor pool were highlights of our stay. Be sure to not leave food in your car because of the proximity to the mountains, there are black bears in the area. Would stay here again.
Leigh
Great place to stay. Family friendly!!
Chaoran
Good location and service
David
The parking was free, which is huge in downtown Gatlinburg. The water park kept the kids occupied and was fun. Breakfast was a nice variety; the pancake machine wasn’t working so the grandkids were bummed. We had a problem at check-in but that was eventually resolved. The hotel is conveniently located so it’s easy to walk to restaurants and shopping.
Christopher
Great place for kids!! Nice, clean, and friendly staff!!

Well it was a place to sleep, first night of check in no wifi after 20 minutes trying to connect turned on TV sporadically worked and it went off, went to front desk and was told we're aware and working on it,last morning finally figured out if you go outside your door wifi connects an the stay within 8 feet of you door you slightly connected, was told oh we're going to add points to your IHG rewards every day for convenience, checked out and haven't received anything, always had good luck at holiday inn, but not this one 😡😡
Gary
Friendly staff clean room breakfast, okay
Lisa
Very well maintained property, breakfast was delish, loved the location, and water park was fun. My only complaint....NO HOT TUB! NOT A SINGLE ONE. Broke my heart! Kids had a blast but Mom and Dad had no relaxing soak to wash away our long drive. Water park water was not warm either. Kiddo didn't mind but us grown-ups were shivering. But, if that's my number one problem then I'd say we had a really nice time. Staff was always so helpful!

We had a night stay on our way to Florida and this was very clean, BF was very good. Liked the place.
Bit pricey but felt good staying here.

Very nice staff. Good breakfast with daily variations. Nice common spaces indoor & out. Very clean. Kids would love the indoor splash/swim park that is adjoined to the neighboring facility. Free parking great for Gatlinburg. Close walk to the downtown parkway and just down road from Smoky Mountain National Park.
Shara
Breakfast was great and the kids loved the waterpark

Room could use improvement pool area was great

Rooms were well maintained, had plenty of towels and soaps.
Justin
NO HOT WATER ALL WEEK! upon check in I asked if there was Hot Water since my wife saw reviews that said there was not. The unprofessional staff at the front desk said there was, but lied. horrible experience and will never return.
Latoya
Suite was very roomy and clean
Ginny
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Excellent for kids and teens who enjoy indoor waterparks
Mark
Hot water was not working. Was lukewarm at its best. Problem was not solved. Breakfast was one of the worst ever. Pancake machine was broken, biscuits were burnt both days, eggs were infused with brown chunks from being stuck to the chafing dish.
The response we received when we mentioned these was \"sorry \"

Do not EVER STAY at Holiday Inn Express in Gatlinburg. One of our worst experiences ever at any hotel we’ve ever been to. So many things I can’t even list them all but most importantly was the fact we were charged over three times the amount of what our actual rate was for our stay and they charged our card that amount three times. We still haven’t been refunded days later. We’ve been told multiple times we will be contacted by the owner, which has not happened days later. Probably have tried to call over 100 times to the front desk because they’re corporate office they have to do the refund. And we can get no answer. Their corporate office has also tried to call and can’t get no answer. So unless you want your bank account to be absolutely destroyed and in a mess, I would advise never to stay here.
Tusha
The rooms was very nice amd clean, the staff was always nice and pleasant. The guys at the front counter was great. Very well recommended and pleasure to be there. My next trip will be here with you all
LuAnn
Nice place to stay. Clean and breakfast was great. Receptionist LeeAnna went out of her way to help us with car issues!! Easy on and off the hwy. Quiet at night.
Anthony
Hotel is in a terrific location water park is always a hit with the kids. They had some issues with leaking water pipes they are in the process of repairing; so the ceilings are different colors but didn't effect us just wasn't as nice when you look up. I'm sure they'll get that taken care of before our next visit.
Megan
Loved having the indoor water park for my kids, very convenient location so we could walk to most of the places we wanted to go, and loved waking up to a nice breakfast buffet every morning.
Imonie
I loved the indoor splash pad! And it was so close to the strip

Breakfast was definitely a plus, a variety to choose from. Coffee bar ways always available which of your like me is a HUGE plus. Indoor pool was nice, at times it got very crowded and some of the kids were a little to “ old “ to be playing especially with the smaller crowd. Only down fall..outdoor pool and hot tub don’t come as amenities with your stay ( club owners only )
Jordan
We absolutely love this hotel. The whole family has fun on the water slides and pool. It is great to keep the kids satisfied when we are exhausted and don’t want to be out shopping and sightseeing.
Reem
Terrible staff. Very unprofessional.
Izaida

This place was perfect with kids.
Delshaunda
The room was very clean.
Lauren
The staff was great. They did a nice job keeping fresh food out at breakfast and there were things even my pickiest kid would eat. Marcus was very friendly and helpful. The splash area was a big hit; however, the pool was a little small.
Gretchen
Facility was clean; friendly and helpful staff; very nice indoor water park area with small pool area attached; need to bring your own towels to the pool area; be sure to know the code to get into pool area - it is not key access - code only; location was wonderful - close to downtown gatlinburg; walking distance; good and available parking; breakfast was great, fresh food; fresh coffee available 24 hours; will definitely stay again
Danielle
Family based review- room and hotel were clean. Water slides and pool were a kid favorite but COLD, it’s not heated so spring break time after hour and half of swimming kids were done. No extra towels in swimming area and we were a family of 5 in our room. Could not reach the front desk despite attempts to call during our stay from room. Every we went to desk either they were on the phone or helping another guest. Our kids are little so they were able to share a towel after bath so my suggestion either ask for extra towels at check in or bring beach towels. We would stay again as it was close to walking distance and the kids loved th pool!
Julio
Yes almost everything was walking distance

Had a great time in this hotel and Gatlinburg!
The staff were very friendly and approachable.
The rooms were very fresh, smelled good, and were clean. There was no dust and even the bathroom tiles looked clean. You could see there was a lot of effort put into the rooms by staff members. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, etc. were placed in the rooms.
The hotels location was very close to downtown Gatlinburg (probably 5-10 minutes walking distance to the most popular spots).

Staff was nice, loved they provided coffee all day, great location and could walk everywhere for the most part. Only down side was a few of the outlets were broken in our room as well as the tub had broken parts on. Just need to get those fixed and the room is perfect. It was a nice size room for four of us.
