The room seemed clean and everything worked except the jacuzzi which I did not know would be in the room, so no problem. The one person at the desk had the personality of a rattle snake. The outside of the motel was very ugly. Overall I don't plan to stay there again but it was the only motel that accepts pets with no extra charge

Inside the room was nice. Clean and comfortable, the modern furnishings must have recently been updated. The exterior/surroundings however were uncomfortably run down. Between the many loud dogs of the long term residents barking all night and the filthy pet relief area, I cannot recommend this place for anything longer than a quick overnight stay. Unfortunately, it’s not a great place to bring your wife and kids for any length of time.

Facilities look nothing like photo when booking. We were assigned a handicap room which had little to nothing in it. Our washcloths had pubic hairs on them and the regular towels had long hairs. We ended up sharing a towel to dry off. Paint was peeling around the shower head with little water pressure. Sheets were stained. Bed was very uncomfortable . Shady characters walking around the facilities and the area in general looked run down . It’s a one and done for me and never again

Not a bad hotel overall, but the battery to the door lock of my room died while I was returning to my vehicle to grab some things eventually, the staff made me break the door down in order to get my things out of the room no real apologies just a hey can you break this door down? I’ll move you to a new room. Very strange situation. Very strange experience.

This hotel was great. Remodeled and very clean. Next to the trolley route. No pet fees. Aldeen at the desk is wonderful as is the night man although I didn't get his name. The only problem that I see is with the guests that don't appreciate that they have a nice clean room and are allowed their pets with no fee but refuse to clean up after their dogs. This is not the hotel's fault at all. They do their best to keep the dedicated area mowed and clean. They provide a garbage can and bags. It's sad to think that there are some people that don't appreciate how good this is and just leave their dog droppings for other people to step around and step in by accident. I don't know if it's people that feel entitled or they're just lazy , but it really ruins it for everyone else! So I highly recommend this hotel for people who love their pets to bring them.... Just be aware of where you step and realize some people have no consideration for others.

Good location to downtown and Smokies! Clean room and nice cleaning crew.
On the down side the building is kinda poor condition, heater makes loud noise. Acoustic poor, hear tenants above walking and scraping things across floor. Sleep is optional.
Seems a few low income people live there full time.

Great, clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Shower has great water volume, and water gets hot fast in the shower and the sink. Large sink countertop for the bathroom. Interestingly, no hook to hang a used bath towel, but new towels are brought everyday day. The outside of the property looks unkempt, but don’t let that deceive you. The room was clean, with HDTV, fridge, microwave, AC/Heat, and WiFi internet (not super fast internet, but it works to watch streaming videos). It’s not a 5 star hotel, but it is a comfortable experience, and I was there for 10 nights. Definitely recommend.

Very pet friendly..the room seemed clean. The outside is not in good shape at all. Service came everyday and seerp and changed sheets and garbage and renewed soap and toilet paper and towels. Seemed cpean except tge last day it smelled like cigarette smoke? Not sure about that. Did pay forca room with a spa but spa was broke. Free coffee and friendly staff. Dog park attached was just a mess, mostly sog owners but poop bad and container were missing. The apartment building next to it was almost complete and some just didnt finished it and left a large smelly dumpster full stench! Well the bears loved it and came thru the property constantly. Kinda scary at times when you are walking a dog and a 400 lb black bear comes thru or is in the dumpster. Place needs cleaned up period! The area is run down near the motel. I wasnt scared walking thru there at night except for the bears.
Unfortunately we travel with our dog at times. So there are some options but not many.
No food on site. Buy food is within walking distance.

The only problem we had was that we lost hot water the day after we arrived, we were offered another room or the access to an empty room to take our showers( that was our choice). The area in which the motel is located is very convenient so if you plan on not being in your room for literally anything other than sleeping... It's a good choice. But if you like to watch TV, go to the bathroom, have a cold beverage or call the front desk, you night want to pick a different place to stay. Only 1 channel came in (Oxygen channel, husband wasn't impressed). The others just skipped in and out and said 'no signal'. The toilet wouldn't flush anything more than toilet paper, if you know what I mean. We had to get a plunger from the office and it stayed in our room because we had to plunge every time someone used the toilet. The phone didn't work properly. The refrigerator didn't get cold no matter what setting we put it on. Only 3 towels and 2 wash clothes provided for 3 adults for a 3 day stay. No courtesy bar soap or shampoo.... Nothing to wash your hands with at all.... lucky I brought my own... Make sure you do the same.

The property needs to be updated and cleaned up. You park right next to the maintenances shed and dumpsters. Old broken appliances out in the open on the ground around the shed.

The view behind the motel is nice. There's a little steam out back.

They only reason I'd book again is because our dog stays free. That's the only reason. I'm sure there's much better accommodations for the same money or less.
