Our room was very nice. 5th floor private balcony and a vaulted ceiling with a working fireplace. Beautiful view. Nice and clean.

Everything good
Rebecca
Staff was friendly and helpful no matter the time, day or night. Room and common areas where clean although the rooms need updated. Love the buildings charm. Can walk to the parkway, also a free trolley that runs by the hotel that you can hop a ride on. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice place to stay , staff was so helpful and knowledgeable of all things Gatlinburg . We had an awesome stay for a great price .
Jessica
The staff was great, restaurant was closed so we had to leave to eat, and I found a live cockroach in my room. It crawled into my bag.

I was highly impressed everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and the pool was amazing. I give a special shout out to the housekeeping crew they go above and beyond. I know their work isn’t easy but they have a great team! Thank you so much!
Elisebeth
We stayed for a long weekend with our 2 young children. We booked a standard room but realized we needed just a little more space. They were so helpful and accommodating when we inquired about upgrading to a suite, we got into a new room immediately. Everyone was so friendly. We used the indoor pool twice which the kids loved the waterfall. It’s not the fanciest hotel but we enjoyed our stay and would book here again.
Brandon
The pool was great and the staff was very courteous. Room was spacious and clean. Plan to return!

Room 510, sink pipe was tied up by shoelace it appeared, leaking water. Balcony had cigarette butts on it when we checked in, so they did not sweep it or check it before turning room over to new guests. TVs are great size but most channels were laggy off couldnt use hdmi on these tvs either to put our roku stick in so really didnt get to enjoy tv much for relaxing after long day. Pool was great. Walking distance was great. Staff was great. Overall it wasnt bad but cleaning could been better, and making sure everything is good functioning better. If you dont like firm mattresses either I would skip. My BF liked the bed I did not. It was way too firm for me. Nice thing is parking was included where alot of hotels in area require u to pay. But no free breakfast we did not try the hotel restaurant or place down road. But they have the options for food in area. Not sure if I would do this hotel again or not. I live under 2hrs away, this was weekend get away for us.
Pete
Clean room comfortable bed and outdoor pool is where my wife and I hung out . Would definitely stay at this property again.
Samir
the indoor pool was very unique with a waterfall. ahallow pool at ground level and a deep pool up to 9 ft at the top. the hotwl is qalking distance from the maim street wher eveyone is walking and shopping. the staff was friendly and helpful. we will definitely be back.
Karen
Property was right on the trolley route. Staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were maintained well and clean.
Lamorris
The stay was okay overall, but there were several issues that made it disappointing. The first thing we noticed was a strong mold and mildew smell in the room that never seemed to go away. The bathroom mirror also had mold growing around the back edges, which appeared to be caused by the constant moisture from the nearby pool area.
The bathroom was extremely small—I could literally stand in the shower and reach the bathroom door at the same time. The exhaust fan was also inadequate, so after every shower the entire bathroom became fogged up and stayed humid for quite a while.
The room itself was acceptable as a place to sleep, but it felt poorly maintained and the overall quality didn’t match what we expected.
The pool was nice enough, but it was much smaller than the pictures make it look online. After several days of heavy use, the water became noticeably cloudy and murky, making it seem like it needed better cleaning and maintenance.
Overall, this hotel was just average. While it served its purpose, the mold and mildew odor, signs of moisture damage, cramped bathroom, and disappointing pool made it hard to justify the price.

Lots of good bear sightings.

This lodge is within walking distance from the main strip of shops/restaurants in Gatlinburg. It was a little outdated but very clean with nice pools. Me and my family had a nice stay here at a decent price.
GANGFU
good, only pity is no breakfast.

Our room was dirty and we had an infestation of bedbugs in the room. In addition the person next door smoked in her room and the balcony and the hotel did not address the situation. Pictures of room are not accurate- hotel is dirty and rooms and furniture is worn out and dirty. Do not stay here unless your looking for a motel 6 or days in experience- yuck!

This is a great location with a great indoor pool. Be careful though because the local bears have taken to the valet business. So, don’t leave food in your car!
Steven
Loved our stay! We would definitely stay here again.
Rosa
I really like it . It’s very clean and l really like the pool

Place was clean. However we had a safety issue that actually caused my wife to go to clinic to get stitches. I brought this up with staff. I also asked for 1/2 refund. I was told that a manager would be in contact but I have not heard nothing from anyone. The bathtub drain is what my wife got hurt on. I’m going to give them a few more days to call and resolve the issue then we’re getting lawyers involved.

Location was great and within walking distance from the Main Street without having to worry about loud foot traffic. All other public parking is $20 so it’s nice to be able to just walk. Pool was fun and clean. Outside pool was a bonus too.

My only issue was the pool only staying open till 10pm for kids. Rooms were clean but look like there were holes in the ceiling in the bathroom. My son did ask him there were blood stains on the wall!
BASHAR
I didn't enjoy my stay there; there were many shortcomings in the rooms.
Heidi
The place is VERY much in need of updating! Ripped carpet, door jam had a huge gap between the door and the frame. Back elevator was filthy. Needs a tear down and start over.
Nina
Nice service

Coffee maker in the room didn't work . Tub seemed flimsy when you stood in it to shower.
Pizza from rest was undercooked, but salad was generous and good and waitstaff was good. We felt the breakfast buffet was overpriced and walked into town to find a better valued breakfast.

Very nice and clean easy check in and out only thing that bother me was there were no plug in by the Mira or ironing board and the ice machine was not working
kimberly
I was just passing through but I am coming back in a week and a half.
Elisa
Though it was booked for a convention parking and check in was confusing at first. The Staff was amazing very friendly and helpful! The front desk lady sorry I forgot her name helped my husband find a spot right in the front entrance. Very informative of events, pools, Parks and restaurants ❤️. We will definitely stay AGAIN.
Lorraine
I look forward to coming back.
Taber
Comfortable and clean hotel, kind and helpful staff, great restaurant in the lobby, and close proximity to all the places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
Susan
Clean hotel with a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Loved the clean smell upon entering the lodge and lovely decor. Water machines were great to fill up for the day. Bed is super comfortable. Although the hotel is near the strip of shops and restaurants, it’s a little further up than other hotels. Overall a great stay.

Pool was the best!!! Staff was amazing!!! Restaurant was good too.
Rooms outdated, but did the job. Really great location. Just phenomenal!
We saw bears every morning!
Took the trolly right in front of lodge.
We will stay again and again

Staff was very helpful after we was locked out of our cabin. Very nice and clean property. Rooms would use some updating but nice overall
James
Very clean and well maintained. It’s an older hotel with great decor and clean comfortable rooms.
Christopher
Room was on the first floor and humid. Bed was damp and room smelled musky.
karen
I booked this place because Expedia gave it such high reviews and they were so wrong. The rooms are outdated with very worn carpet. The shower had the worse shower head I have ever seen, I almost thought it didn’t have one. The rooms were nasty with some big blog on something on the floor in the bathroom with long black hair in it. We left a day early because we were concerned about bugs
Ryan Jerome
Rooms were clean, some peeling paint. Could use an update overall. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy walk from downtown Gatlinberg. Onsite restaurant had really good food and was priced reasonably as well as open until 11 pm for those late snacks. Ample parking and was included. I’d stay again.
Ashley
John at the front desk was extremely helpful.
Ted
Location in Gatlinburg was as convenient. The lodge has a beautiful swimming area. The dining was exceptional.
Kristin
Check in was super easy, Heta was the one who checked us in and she was super sweet and helped us with recommendations and then even helped us extend our stay! We looooved the pool it has a lower section that is not as deep but then a top pool which goes to 9ft! They even have adult hours in the pool which is nice. Would come back!
Michelle
It was ok

Upon checking in, we were greeted by a wonderful lady. She explained everything and gave clear directions. Our room was “poolside” and I thought that meant we were beside the pool; however, that was not the case. We were on the third floor. Looking down at the pool, we could see that the top of the waterfall that normally flows was full of green algae and trash. The hotel was clean, but it is very dated. The staff did an excellent job of cleaning our room each day, taking out the trash, and giving us new towels. This is my granddaughter’s favorite hotel, so we will probably stay again; however, if it were my choice, I’d pick a more modern hotel.
Phyllis
Facilities were very clean and visually pleasing. Easy walk to attractions! The cafe was excellent and very convenient. We’ll book this again!
Jeanette
Great pool and spa for our grandkids.
Convenient restaurant.

The front desk staffs John and Heta were super kind and helpful and were the best part of my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable albeit slightly dated. This was my second time staying with them and I would highly recommend this hotel for its value.
Abigail
The stay was great, the pool was cool, there were bears so be careful, but they are cute. The rooms are definitely a little older, but still a great stay overall.
Warwick
Went with our two grandchildren, hadn't been to the Glenstone Lodge in 30 years and we had a blast.
Kelvin
staff was very friendly and helpful.. only problems was the ice machine didn't work on 2 floors and our microwave didn't work but they replaced it as soon as we told them.. very clean and neat..
Tim
Good points: Free parking. Not too far to walk to town, though up hill. Reasonable rates. Comfortable bed.
Bad points: Hotel feels tired. Some staff were unfriendly. Expensive for drinks in hotel shop. No bar, nor breakfast.
Pool area smells sweaty. Has carpet which adds to the smell.
Rooms were very dated.

It seems a little run down, but the price was good and the staff were great. Everything was clean.
Corina
We had a a great experience! Everything was clean, the pool was a great place for the kids and us to relax in the evenings. The staff were very helpful l, room service was exceptional and John made our checkin process very smooth.
Michael
Easy walk to gatlinburg?
Both pools were nice. Great value for price

When we are allowed to select rooms it would be helpful to know if your door opened to the outside or was part of the indoor portion of the hotel.
Jeff
Loved the swimming pool area
kathy
Retro style that reminds you of your childhood but nicely updated! Walking distance to maint street
Janet
Always a great place to stay in Gatlinburg. Nice surroundings, within walking distance of downtown & quiet, restful place
Irvin
Great place to stay! Clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly!
Rayna
Very convenient to restaurants
Mark
The interior room needs a dehumidifier. It sucks in dampness from indoor pool area and feels wet
Breanna
AC didn’t really keep the room cool.
Staff was amazing and the kids enjoyed the indoor pools.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice coffee shop in the lobby. The hotel is old and could be refurbished. Hallways are an awful yellow color, the skylights are covered with grime and there was a single chair in our guestroom that was covered with water damages and stains. The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub have visible mold.
Nicholas
Overall a decent experience. The Lodge was close enough to downtown where we could walk anywhere.
Sharlyn
Nice pools; only one elevator and we were on 5th floor
Stwphen
Great place to stay for a getaway. Staff was great, pool always occupied. The outdoor pool looked inviting and pool area grounds meticulously maintained. Downside is the property is dated and the breakfast was average at best. But I would stay here again for the value and great employees.
Barbara
The inn was not full; however I was given a room on the 3rd floor at the very back of the inn which was not acceptable. I am a senior citizen and had to bring my suitcases up even though there was an elevator. I should have been given a room on the first or second floor and there were plenty available in the wing I was in. If I were to stay here again I would insist on a room on a lower level. I could understand this if the inn was full; however there were a number of rooms available.
Nikki
Room was very clean. Staff was amazing!! Pool was nice, especially the hot tub. I enjoyed my stay as always!!
Jose
Rakiya at the front desk was a nice and attentive agent. She was very helpful. The property is in a great location and close to a lot of good places. The breakfast at the restaurant was not great, very simple. Everything was ok but what I noticed was that maintenance need to touch up some areas. The connecting door look bad in our room, the pool have mildew inside the walls of the adult pool, over the rock slide you can see from the rooms the black and green mold, the wall by the soda machine in the second has a big hole that can be fix... Is just detail that will make the property stand out... A lot of potential is just maintenance need to be more proactive around the property. I will stay again because I know this details can be fix and is not a motive to break a deal with the hotel.

Will stay there again. Friendly staff and clean hotel.

Great location. The outdoor pool was stunning. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Shawnda
Room was nice and clean. Grounds were clean. Staff were so amazing. We were so close to all the shops and restaurants we could walk everywhere.
Trina
Awesome indoor pool area! Onsite restaurant was good too.
Beverly
Very close to the convention center where we needed to be. Wondered room and restaurant had amazing pizza
Christina
Our toddler loved the pool and ice cream in the lobby! Will definitely stay here again.
Landon
The staff was excellent and everything was clean. Like other reviews say, it is extremely outdated. I stayed here close to 10 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. The wifi was also not very good where our room was located making it difficult to do anything online. For its location in Gatlinburg, this place is still a great budget hotel!
Joshua
My family enjoyed our stay here. Was happy that we could park in the lot before check in. It's a convenient short walk to the strip. We enjoyed the shaded patio next to the creek, the indoor pool section was just like the photos, and breakfast was good although you do have to pay for it. We had also eaten dinner there and the pizza and fried ravioli bites were delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Now I understood you do get what you pay for so wasn't expecting much, the actual rooms were pretty outdated and I didn't really think it through getting a room by the pool- was very wet mildewy smell as soon as you walk in and the curtains have to be shut unless your okay with everyone seeing in.
Shelly
Great place for the family. The kids loved having both an indoor and outdoor pool
Susan
We love the Glenstone, especially the indoor pool area.
The coffee shop staff Tuesday morning were not nice. Stating she was only making \"regular\" coffee that morning. My daughter had been looking forward to her orange cortada since last trip in October. The Wednesday staff was delightful and made her 2.
Love the option if checking out online so we can leave keys in room and just go out the back door where we were parked.

We took the family for a volleyball tournament. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The pool was awesome and highly recommended. The pizza from the restaurant was excellent but breakfast was not worth what we paid. Overall, the property was great and we would come back to stay.
Carlos
Everything was good, one thing is when we did enter our room it was very humid and hot but once we got the air conditioning going it felt nice. Also pool is supposedly heated but the water was very cold. Overall nice hotel, would stay again!
Everardo
Good
Laura
It would be nice to have free coffee and breakfast like most hotels
Christine
Pool was way too cold for an indoor pool. Breakfast in the restaurant was really not great like has been in years past and they wanted to charge for my 2yr grandson to eat.
Cindy
Really nice place to stay. Location is great, within walking distance to downtown. Bear sightings as well! Would definitely stay there again.
Tina
The pool closed for maintenance during our stay. We were not aware of this when we booked. They drained the pool water out the back door to a creek. Meanwhile, the doors were open to the cold so we could not even use the lounge area. Very disappointed. This was our third time to visit the property. No problems prior.
Bernard
great experience - check-in staff was excellent. Housekeeping super - pool and hot tub was nice
