Beds were clean but the hotel was very outdated, sink faucet was broken in our room, toilet tank lid didn't fit, lights around the pool weren't working, and a lot of very poorly patched holes in the walls.

I had Room 310 with connector doors on both sides. The people in 309 tried hard to open the door and get in the room. Also the doors let through a lot of noise.

The room was clean and bed was super comfortable. Water pressure was kind of low for a hotel.

Overall, I would stay here again.

Room was awful. Blood stains on headboard and comforter in 1 bed plus on 2 towels. There were dried boogers with hair stuck on them on the over sheet for the other bed. The barhroom had dirty floors by the toilet and the tub wasn't clean either. Only enough towels for 3. Room had 1 light which was over the bed clos3st to the door. There were 2 bedside reading lights. There was a bubble (looked like water leak from upstairs) in the ceiling by 2nd bed. There was a sizable crack around the top of the entrance door and a hole drilled into the door near the doorknob.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Offered shampoo and conditioner! Small mini fridge and small microwave.

Pool was tiny and only 5' at deepest. Didn’t go in. Lifht was strobing and resembled lightning.

Breakfast was 2 types of cereal (both stale) in a dispenser, bagels, bread and pancakes all in individual zip lock bags, pre-packaged muffins, yogurt and individual peach cups in syrup. There was a microwave and toaster avail. They also had coffee in 3 strengths, hot chocolate, tea, decaf and OJ.

Exterior of building was in disarray. No signage lit up at night. Roof and sign in poor condition. Kids said it didn't feel safe there at all, I agreed.

Would not recommend.

I asked for A LOT of extra towels because they only put 3 in our room and there were 5 of us staying. 2 of the 3 people I dealt with at the front desk seemed bothered that I asked a question. Parking was a perk. There is a parking garage, although it is small so park once and don't move your car. Air conditioning worked fine. To be clear; we are in no way picky or hard to please! This was our 4th & final time staying here so I feel like we’ve stayed at this property enough to accurately review it. It’s not fancy by any means but the rooms have always been clean & comfortable enough to get by which is why we’ve come back. This time though we really started to notice how dirty & unkept the property itself is. Trash laying around, patio dirty with chair cushions thrown around and cigarettes laying around (consistent with each stay we’ve had). The pool area is consistently nasty looking. It rained pretty hard and the walk ways were flooded which just added to our frustrations. Throughout every stay we’ve had the rooms have always had something consistently broken; fireplace didn’t work, light didn’t work etc. this time our toilet didn’t work & they moved us to a new room which was fine but just inconvenient. The room they moved us to had a connecting door to the room next to us - the door in our room was so loose that if the people next to us decided to open theirs; it could have been easily kicked in which is a major safety issue. Our key cards kept deactivating (the people next to us kept having the same issue also). It’s an older building which we completely understand; but just because it’s older doesn’t mean it has to be dirty/unkempt. If you have a quick stay - sure stay here, but if it’s a longer stay I would consider elsewhere.

The elevator smelled horrible. The hallways dingy. There was some nastiness on the back of the bathroom door & when I used my hairdryer & flat iron we flipped a breaker. No ice bucket, lights didn’t work. The bed was clean & staff super nice is the only reason I have a few stars.

The room was old and needs to be updated. Shower was hard to get hot water, the faucet needed to be replaced. The whole building needs update. There is no lounge area to wait in or meet with anyone else. The breakfast was adequate no fruit. We obviously will not be staying there again.

At check in I requested a front room at the parkway because my husband has COPD and I need a hip replacement.I was told those rooms were reserved but our entire stay the rooms were available . The room we were given was across a cat walk to an adjacent building. The door going out was broken at the hinges and scrubbing the concrete and we couldn’t get the luggage cart out . We were given room 316 all the way in the back of the building. The trash dumpster emptied the dumpsters at 2:30 ish every morning. Out check out day we left Gatlinburg at 3:38 AM,Run down hotel !!

The staff were fine. The problems started in the elevator. The walls looked like giant rats had been chewing on them for about a year. The carpet in the elevator was disgusting. “Filthy” doesn’t come close to describing how nasty they were. I may have to burn my shoes. Now to the room. The electrical outlets by the bed didn’t work. Not only that, there was one outlet that the plug wouldn’t even stay in. It was like it wasn’t there. One of the pillow cases looked like the cleaning staff had used it to clean the sidewalk. Dirty and VERY noticeable. The molding around the a/c unit was falling off. The bathtub had hairs everywhere. Had to rinse them out before using it. The electrical outlet in the bathroom worked…sort of. The ENTIRE plug was falling out of the wall. Not secured at all. To its credit, it did work. Prior patching of holes in the wall were sloppy and not professional looking at all. Other than an I’m sorry, the desk clerk didn’t seem overly concerned. I wouldn’t stay at the Days Inn Gatlinburg if my life depended on it. I have photos in the event that the manager wants to see.

The room was absolutely neglected. This entire hotel needs to be renovated. No curtains on the window. We asked and were provided a comforter instead to Mcgiver a solution. It sorta worked. Bathtub drain was plugged and they did get that issue corrected. Multiple receptacles didn’t work properly and bathtub water fill faucet handles were falling off. Hot tub functioned but not fully. Room was cleaned but there were bugs. Hotel staff was friendly and housekeeping did their best considering the hand they were dealt. The location is good and the potential is there but corporate needs to spend some money and update this hotel.

I did not have a balcony room. My room was on ground level with the window directly in the parking lot, literally 2 feet from the hood of a car parked in front of it. We could not open the blinds because people in the parking lot and getting in/out of their cars could look right in. This was unfortunate because the room was very dark with no lamp for the desk. I asked for a lamp because we needed to do some work at the desk but they didn’t bring one until our last night. The facility was very old, mildewy bathroom and the entire facility is in desperate need of a remodel.

Upper room needs cleaned better. candy wrappers on floor. gum on walls. everything else was clean. room is too dark at night. not enough lighting. It rained while we were there. outside drainage on the sidewalks was terrible. forces you to step in deep puddles cause you cant walk around it. the run off that comes off the pool deck was just too much for the sidewalk to deal with.
However we had a nice stay and will be back.

Maintenance staff should check everything before get ready to re-rent. My first room’s light not lid, fridge not cold, toilet is not flushing. We have to ask to move to another room.

Breakfast is lacking of hot items. Exactly the same everyday.

It would be nice if you have a guitar or few musical instruments in the lobby. Guest may borrow to entertain during their stay.

Absolutely disgusting. As soon as we got to the room there were roaches crawling on the wall, mold and moisture everywhere, and the place just felt dirty and gross. The smell hit us right away. We didn’t even stay — we had to leave immediately and request a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else! Oh and did I mention no parking, I had to park around back at a different business location.

Got a room that was supposed to have no stairs to the jacuzzi and ours had stairs. Room was a little run down. Bed was comfortable however the air conditioning sucked. We had it on high the whole time and it barely did anything at all. It was almost like we had it on low the whole time. I’m not 1 balcony chair for multiple guests. No dresser to put stuff in but had hangers and a rack to hang them from. Water pressure in the shower was terrible and it took 20 mins to fill the jacuzzi.

The hotel is in terrible condition
needs serious renovation. It has German cockroaches in the morning breakfast area.
The bathroom sink in our room was next to the front door, not in the bathroom. My opinion that’s not sanitary. A plus employees running the desk were nice. But we had a difficult time sleeping here and price I paid for this room is humiliating! Price should be for sure under $100 for what’s offered. But just my opinion.

Room definitely needed a lot of work for things to work properly. If you get a room on the backside near the restaurant, beware that the trash people come through after 11pm to get the dumpsters on that side of the street (one morning it was 3am when they went through). The door had a slight gap at the bottom that bugs came through. The lights in the room had a lot that were out so we only had it lit up a little when lights were turned on. The water spigot for the tub was coming out of the wall so you had to be careful when turning on/off the water. The bathroom fan absolutely sucked and the bathroom light was outside of the bathroom. The location was great, we didn’t eat the complimentary breakfast (we didn’t wake up in time for that). They did place people next to us even though it was a floor of 4 rooms and we were the only ones on that side and floor. Got to see a bear across the road so that was definitely a

Great location. Decent room for the price. Hair dryer didn't work, but got replaced when asked. Only 2 towels for 4 people so we had to keep going back to ask for more. Price was lowest, but this hotel is in need of a lot of upkeep and maintenance. Didnt appear to have simple things cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful. I probably would not stay there even agaiin. I wouldn't recommend it to family or friends. It's a place to sleep or shower but not a room to spend any time in. The price was extremely low but you definitely get what you pay for.

Very convenient location if you are looking to hike. The entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains Park is less than one block. The hotel has parking, which is a big plus. Many restaurants are at walking distance. A decent breakfast is also included.
