Everything was good, but they really need to update there rooms everything is old and smell like mildew, and mildew was seen on the ceiling. Was given another room, it was a upgrade to a king with a jacuzzi and full kitchen, WELL, the jester was nice but EVERYTHING in the room was historicaly old, 1 plate, 1 bowl, 😂, the tub squeaked while taking a shower, sound like I was gonna fall through the tub, The pool on the inside was beautiful, but water was too cold, outside pool was nice and the water was warm, was able to sit by the pool, drink, and listen to music, and mingle.
Saw a big bear while at the pool, which was exciting, the restaraunt was nice, the food was good, but pricey $30 for 2 cheese burger and large fry!

The staff at night were so nice. The room, however, had MANY drain flies. I stopped counting at 50 that I killed. If it had not been so late when I got back in my room, I would have asked to be moved. The bathroom fan did not work, nor the light over the vanity. The bed was fair but the room smelled musty. Good price, but the room needs major work.

I love the sydney janes.I've been going there for years I only live 2 hrs away from gatlinburg. the hotel is a little dated but they're working hard to improve.
While I was there they moved stacks of mattresses, replacing them with new ones. It is a little bit of a walk to the strip, but you're saving 25 bucks for parking. There's a lot of places to eat within walking distance.

The front staff was very helpful and nice. There was an issue with getting the room cleaned while we were out for the day. I was told new reservation rooms were cleaned first. When I tried to ask the house maids when they would get to our room none of them spoke a lick of English. A large part of the motel had been burned in a fire and was shuttered. I think this should have been in the Expedia notice. The bed frames were a hollow metal and made a noticeable sound when you sat down or got up from them. The pool was nice and the mattresses were fine but the AC struggled to keep the room cool in the heat of day.

Check-in and out, quick and easy. Staff was friendly.
Room was clean enough and didn't smell weird but the beds were disappointing.
Can confirm, the bathroom is tiny. Could use a few more sq ft in there.
The pools were great and not crowded. The other guests were friendly also.
We did not try the cafe. The pizza in the hotel down the hill was great tho.
Elevator wasn't scary.
They really should replace the carpet.
We like to avoid chains when possible.

They served beer in there cafe so at 7pm I went to bed because I had to be up super early and there were people screaming woohooo at the pool repeatedly. The room smelled so loud of cleaning fluids it made me sick. The door to the creek side balcony wouldn't open without force. The toilet kept clogging, they had no maintenance so we had to repeatedly plunge the toilet. No coffee service in the lobby. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the worst.

This place may have been in its glory days back in the 90's. But the parking arrangments were the worst ive ever seen. Having to park in an alternate parking lot and walk up stairs was not ideal for me having a disability. Then both of our room keys didnt work. Then i was under the impression people werent supposed to smoke in their room but i could smell it from the balcony. Speaking of the balcony dont put to much of your weight on the guard rale because its missing a bolt. The bathrooms are very small so note that if your in a wheelchair or walker if you try to get a dbl queen room. The one plus side was the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we wont be staying again.
