We enjoyed our trip and stay here olny thus is i guess the house keepers only hit what they thought needed to be wiped down and cleaned. There was still dusy in the room and all over the ceiling fans. The staff was really nice both times i talke to them. The staff member i talked to last thanked me for calling them and telling them. Im allergic to dust so i thought they needed to know.

We've stayed here before and knew what to expect but it was in the perfect spot for what we wanted to do.
Room needed work. They did fix the toilet very quickly after I reported it broken but you could see light/daylight shining under door. Cold air coming in. We blocked it with a rolled towel.
We'll probably stay here again but do hope they update the rooms before then.

The room was clean and tidy. Good for what is was intended for, no bugs or mold which is good. If you're over 5 feet 3 inches the shower head is not for you. Also, the blankets are paper thin so be prepared to bring your own. The outside of the property is very less desirable they absolutely need to clean up and fix it up. I like the location to everything it's all within walking distance and I like you only need to know a PIN code for your room and no key card required. All in all it was nice for what it was intended for a bed and a shower. I would stay again.

I’m giving this hotel 3 stars mainly because the price was very affordable. For what you pay, it’s not terrible, but the hotel is quite old and shows a lot of wear. When we entered the room, the closet shelf was broken, the TV stand was tilted, and the door looked damaged and heavily stained. Nothing seemed freshly maintained, and many things looked old and worn out. It wasn’t exactly dirty, but everything looked very aged and marked from years of use. Overall, it’s an okay option if you’re looking for something cheap, but don’t expect a modern or well-maintained room.

It was a nice room. Clean. Access to towels and such was not seamless, but they'd send someone by with them if needed. The shower got cold very fast and the bathroom light flickered. Bed was comfy. Good sized TV. It worked for what we needed.

There was no one on site when we got there. No answer on the number that was left so we had to Google their sister hotel to find that number. The hotel was very ran down. We had no hot water. New Year’s Eve we came back to our door code not working and they changed it to a generic code that all the rooms would use. They had to have someone come the next day to reset them. The young man who came was very kind. We also found a cockroach on our refrigerator door that evening and when he came the next day to reset the code for the door he brought a can of spray . Very disappointed that we were not told about the situation and ran down condition at the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel due to no one being on site to fix the problems that kept occurring and the condition of the property.

When we got to the motel, there was a sign indicating that the lobby was no longer staffed and there was not daily housekeeping. If you needed anything you had to call their sister property. The number provided was actually no longer in service. We googled the sister company and was able to get ahold of someone (who was great) and got us checked in over the phone. We were there over new years and short after midnight we walked back to our rooms to find out that nobody could get in as the key pads were no longer working. The entire motel occupants were waiting outside in the cold to get ahold of someone at the sister hotel. Once we finally started getting ahold of people conversations started happening amongst the guests and discussions about how to get into the rooms as the keypads were being set with a certain set of digits and your hotel room number. Upon realizing that now every person at this motel could technically get into our room if they used their key code with our room number, that was alarming! We slept with our luggage under the doorknob so we’d be alerted if anyone came in. The following morning we called to get it reset to something specific to us only to be told maintenance would have to come do it. It took an hour for them to come, which took up valuable little time that we had to explore the area. Everyone from the sister company (phone clerks and maintenance were very nice).

Rooms were in rough shape with mold and toilets that moved. Spotty hot water.

Room was not as advertised. Motel set to be demolished after 1st of year. Bed had hair in it. Sink was molded & glass broken. No attendant on duty to sign in. Tried to get a refund from you & the number you had on file was incorrect. I sent a picture of the note taped to the door showing who to call. We ended up leaving this nasty motel & going to somewhere else without using your site since it was so misleading with this one. Very disappointed in your app.

The room was very unlit and unhygienic to stay. We checkout out of the room immediately, since it had very dusty cabinets and a weird smell that tells that the room has not been openend in a while. The price of the room was low but we did not expect the quality of the room be so poor. The lobby at the facility did not have anyone, we had to call a number given which also dont pick calls after a certain point.
Would highly recommend choosing somewhere else than saving a couple bucks for your own peace.

Arrived, there was no staff and on the website. It says staff from 7 AM to 3 in the afternoon that was not the case. There was no one there until 4, and when I called, I had to call a different hotel for them to tell me, oh, we're sorry, no 1 will be there until 3 or 4, we have no housekeeping. I couldn't Check-in early. I fought with hotels.com. Because the pictures do not match the hotel at all. It is run down disgusting hotel. No breakfast, no pool smelled like mold and marijuana. No help from staff. No one was there in the office but 1 Day Out of the 4 days I was there. And he wasn't even a hotel staff, he was just someone that would tell you call the number on the window, they'll help you. I had 2000 my room, one washcloth. The sheets were disgusting, there was mold in the corners of the bathroom and the tub, the door barely locked the toilet didn't flush hardly at all. Had a 1/2 used roll of toilet paper had had a coffee pot with no coffee, had a microwave that had no microwave plate. So you couldn't use it. The frigerator that was in there was hot and wouldn't keep anything. Cold, I do not recommend this place. Stay away from this place. It is absolutely atrocious and it is a long uphill.Walk to your hotel and the staff what staff.

This place was horrible. There is NO ONE working there. Had to call a number to check in and was given a \"code\" to check in. How safe is this??? People watching while you punch in your code. No one to clean the room, no one to ask for more towels since there weren't many. The room appeared clean but upon further checking, it could have been cleaner. I know now why it was cheap. Will not be back.

You need to take this property off of Expedia. There is no manager on sight. You have to call the number on the door and then they give you your room number and code. There is nobody there to address any issues and the lobby is always locked.
There was barely any toilet paper on the roll and when we requested another roll of toilet paper, I was advised housekeeping was done for the day and would have to go to their “sister” property to get some. They should be bringing it to us! We had to make do with what was there and what little facial tissue available. Light bulb was out in the bathroom and the rest of the lighting in the room was too dim! The lock to the room was duct taped to the door! This hotel needs to be shut down. This is the most awful experience I’ve had with a hotel found through Expedia. I wish we could get a refund.

Not what I expected. Check in required us drive 15 min to another facility. No one told us this ahead of time. Clerk seemed bothered when we called to see how we could get our key. Room didn't look like listing. Furniture didn't match. Linens were thin. Expected a large \"deep soaking tub\", we had a shower that had burns or dents in basin. Desperately needs updating. Location was great! Loved the historic nature loop road by hotel. Also a nice park and great pancake house in walking distance. Pool filled in with dirt. Trash all around parking area. Limited lighting. Room wasn't clean. Found someone's clothes still in drawers. Dust and grime on door surfaces, baseboards. Linens were clean. Couldn't use microwave unless you relocated it first because there wasn't an electric outlet within the cords reach. I was not expecting a luxury room, just a clean, functional room with our arrival planned since we had a reservation.

Overall, I think this place could be an absolute gem without too much money. It's in a TERRIFIC location - close to the parkway, but far enough away to feel peaceful. It's on the end easiest to getting into the park. There is food a short walk away.
It could have a cute/groovy retro vibe, but it looks like no one has cared about it in so long, but they just let it limp along.
First, there was no one attending in the lobby - it was locked and empty. There was a sign with a number to call for \"check in or emergencies.\" That said, it was very easy to check in and get a code for the door. But it's weird to know there is no one on site. I've never experienced that before, and I didn't love it (althought nothing bad happened). I think whover is managing it is doing so with multiple properties, and in this economy, I think they are making the right choice to save money.
BUT-with some interior choices like paint and artwork, this place could be seen as more cool/retro and \"nice\" than it is. The photos in the ad are obviously of the nicest, best room, but our was much more drab. Small things: Our faucet needed a new aerator and the door of the bathroom was pretty beat up. Weed smell. Oldl wood paneling was in great shape, but could have been upgraded with a color wash or paint. Overall, it felt drab, tired, and ignored in there, which gives you a \"stale\" feel while you're there. Exterior maint. a must.
Plus: large minifridge, microwave, TV, Internet -all good. It could be amazing.

Desk clerk was even in the office when we arrived. You had to call a number to check in. The clerk acted like I was the problem when I didn’t want to give my credit card for there $1 holding fee. Very sketchy. You could barely understand what he was saying. The lobby what you could see looked like a dump. Multiple missing light bulbs. 4 bags of trash just setting behind the counter. The only marking lot had no light. More holes in the parking lot than Swiss cheese. It had rained so our feet were soaked because you couldn’t tell where there was water an not. Because the parking lot was not lit.
We had to get another hotel because of how gross this hotel was. Will not ever return.

This place was exactly what we wanted - a cheap room to sleep in and nothing more. It satisfied that requirement, and that was it.

As long as you approach it with reasonable expectations, you won't be disappointed. The place is seriously outdated, poorly maintained, and not particularly attractive. Given that it was about 1/3 the cost of any other room in Gatlinburg, that was OK with us.

The place is unstaffed after about 5 in the afternoon, or in our case, 3 in the afternoon. That said, the hotel staff communicated well and the check-in was effortless. We were also given a contact number at another property if we had any problems.

The room was clean (except for the empty pretzel bag behind one of the nightstands) and everything worked. Microwave and refrigerator are provided. The bed was comfortable enough, and there were no insects or other vermin to be seen. The carpet looks like is came out of the early 1960s, and may or may not have been clean, but either way, it should have been replaced a decade or two ago. My poor wife, who isn't nearly as tolerant of hotel conditions as I am, was a little creeped out by the place, but it was OK, as I said, for what we needed.

On the plus side, it's probably about a five minute walk from Gatlinburg's main drag.

Keep your expectations in line and you'll be satisfied. Expect a Hilton and you won't.

This stay was booked through Hotels.com. When we arrived, there was no attendant. A note on the door told us to calla phone number to check in. When i called, the lady asked for a credit card for incidentals. After i gave the information, I was told there would be extra fees charged to that card. The booking sight states that all charges are included and upfront. The attendant told me that was not a true statement. We have stayed at this location multiple times and have never been charged additional fees. In my opinion, people should be made aware of the fees upon booking. Also, this should be divulged prior to asking for credit card information. So, future trips to Gatlinburg will not include Belle Aire.

The lady at the front desk called me at 11:02 AM and asked me when I was leaving. I said that my ride was on the way and probably another 15 mins and she responded: \"You were supposed to be out of the room 2 mins ago\". So I said that I would put my things on the walkway. She said ok. So I did. This was rude in my opinion. It did not sit well with me. The owners should correct that sort of attitude in the employees. The Man that worked later in the evening was very nice and polite.

When we got there our room heat didn’t work they were able to get maintenance there shortly after and he was able to figure the problem out but had he not they had no extra rooms and we would’ve been stuck trying to find a replacement room on our own last second so in Gatlinburg would’ve been costly. It’s ok but I won’t return

The male staff that checked me in was on the phone the whole time while checking me in with a non work call. I got to my room and the bathroom door doesn’t shut. Bathtub has black mold on the tub caulking. If you want cheap this is what you pay for.
On a good note the bed was clean and comfy I was just expecting a cleaner environment.

There was toothpaste on the faucet, there was dust on the bed headboard, there was dust on the top of the cabinet doors on the sink, and the mirror was dirty!!

I was solo traveling for my birthday and I stayed in the suite with jacuzzi. It was a wonderful stay. The front desk was helpful, breakfast was offered, very clean (I inspected the room before bring my bags in), and it was close to all attractions in towns.
Hot tub was perfect to relaxing after a 10 hour hike.
I seen a bear which was great. There was a small mistake but that was Expedia not the motel/staff issue. Perfect stay will recommend to everyone and anyone going to that area.

While it wasn't much to look at from outside, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed, sheets and pillows were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient walk to downtown area. Great value.
