Great place to stay in Gatlinburg!. room was clean and spacious, Food in the lounge was delicious. Having the trolly was super nice, no need to look for parking or pay for it. The only down side was the coffeemaker in the room and the lack of coffee and creamer to use it. However, we would totally stay again and again.

Our stay was ok but we had to cut our trip a day short due to the extreme heat making us sick. We discussed with the front desk about leaving a day early and could we get a refund. We were told it wouldn't be a problem but we'd have to go thru expedia since we booked that way. When we did that and expedia reached out to the hotel, they said there were no notes of us leaving early and absolutely no refund would be issued. Just very disappointed with the disconnect with their staff and documentation.

It's very expensive to stay at the hotel but you get your money's worth . I highly recommend you buy your drinks at the regular store then bring them in if you don't you will be paying 5 dollars per drink. The food at the hotel is really good especially the play by the pool. You will see bears outside the gate so do not keep food in car or drinks

Hostess at the restaurant was rude! Hotel is dated and is not very clean. We got a king suit- paid $300/nt there was crumbs in the couch and shower was dirty. Rooms were not comfortable Shower and toilet area is very small and has no fan. Views were nice from the 13th floor. Waitress at the restaurant were also nice- but the hostess for breakfast was the rudest person! And needs classes on how to treat guests! The hotel isn’t worth the price. (Stayed July 1)

We got a family room and overall it was very nice and perfect for a family needs. However, there were several small elements that were left over from previous people who stayed there so it was evident that the room well clean was not fully cleaned.

Otherwise it was a ton of fun to to stay at and have the amazing pool. Our kids loved the easy access to the tram and the fun view from the middle of the hotel. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

This place is a great choice if you are really interested in Great Smoky National Park and want to be away from the bustle of downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Its close proximity to the park is great and it is up a mountain so it is pretty far away from everything else. The trolley does go up to the hotel if you want to venture into Gatlinburg (we didn’t). We stayed 3 nights.

We had a mountain view double king bed room with a balcony. It was spacious and the view was great from the 11th floor. It was nice and quiet. I wanted to sit on the balcony and drink my morning coffee but there wasn’t a single chair out there (kind of strange). The rooms could use a little updating because there are some weird things like the wooden door to the cabinet the mini fridge was in opened one way and the fridge opened the other way so it is hard to get in there. The beds were comfy and we slept well.

My tween son loved the pool so that was a nice bonus. We ended up there every night (open till midnight). It was a good way to wind down after our days out in nature. The restaurant by the pool was not very good so I would recommend just getting a drink there and eating elsewhere later.

We liked it so much that we ended up back there for another night at the end of our trip, on 5th floor that time. That night was just ok because for some reason the place was overrun by teenage girls screaming in the hallways after midnight and before 6:30 a.m. with no parents anywhere in sight.

Our room was huge with beautiful views of the mountains. Plenty of room to move around. We were surprised that the room does not have a microwave. We found a common microwave by the elevator. Part of the wall paper was peeling, but no big deal. Plenty of parking and the free trolley comes by to give you a ride down to town. Breakfast was great, with fresh omelettes, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc… the pool is big. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife loves this place.

Great room and excellent staff. Only downside was no coffee in the lobby for early risers.Stayed here to hike Mt LeConte early the next day. Planned to start our day early due to parking demands and could not grab coffee until 7am. All recommendations said parking would fill by 6:30. Since we had paid for our accommodations at Mt LeConte Lodge we could not afford to take the chance by heading out later. So went without coffee and while beautiful, coffee would have definitely made our strenuous day better. Would definitely stay again. Bedding was awesome!!

I'm not a fan of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area to begin with, so that probably effected my ratings. They both try so hard to be the next Branson, and Gatlinburg is just too small of an area for that many people. Also, I discovered when we checked in that the hotel was hosting a high school cheerleading convention. Nearly 1,000 hyperactive teenagers everywhere you went in the property. It also effected the amount of paring spots that were available, as the lot was over full, and it's a pretty big lot. But all in all, it's nice hotel thats sits atop the rest of Gatlinburg. The room had a small balcony with a decent view of the Smokey Mountains. It wasn't too difficult to get in and out of the hotel while avoiding the usually congested main road in town.

Lovely stay in a beautiful area with a beautiful city view. Staff was very kind, specifically the bartender with red hair, I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic.
I only give 4 stars because the room itself was clearly not maintained well. The coffee pot when we arrived did not work (which they did offer to fix), the door on the dresser covering the fridge was loose so when you would open it to access the fridge, it would drop down a bit and you’d have to lift it to to close it back. There was also some kind water damage on the cover for the ac unit and the bulb for the lamp on the desk was literally dangling down.
Overall we loved the location, views, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is gorgeous from an architectural perspective. I just wish that they maintained the rooms a bit more.

Park Vista was amazing, it is tucked away in the mountain which gives you the quiet time away from the main roads while still being on the trolley route. You get a free cookie when you check in, the staff is super helpful, rooms are clean, and we even saw a bear roaming the parking lot! We loved it here especially with it being on the free trolley route which means you don’t have to pay for parking when going downtown. I will definitely be staying here again.

As soon as I checked in they made me pay $100 for “incidentals.” Said it would be refunded after my stay. On top of that they charge $18 a day to park your car in the parking lot of the place you pay almost $300 a night to stay in. Rip off. Place is also old and dingy. They advertise an adult pool but there isn’t one. They also make you buy their drinks at the pool at rip off prices. $10 for a can of beer? Way better places in Gatlinburg to stay that are cheaper, and don’t take $100 of your spending money upon arrival.

The kids absolutely loved that they had their own room and bathroom and so did we! Lol Both rooms were VERY spacious. Balcony was used quite a bit to do some bear watching in the parking lot. There is also a free trolley that picks up and drops off right at the front with multiple stops along the strip you can hop on and off. Pool area was extremely clean and had a little pizza/snack shop attached. 3 pool areas (kiddie pool, big kid pool, younger kid pool, and a hottub. Kids had a blast on the rainy night in there. Will definitely recommend to everyone and will absolutely be staying there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Park Vista! Our room was perfect for our family, with two separate bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with rustic bunk beds that my kids thought were so much fun. The bunk room even had its own half bath, while the master bedroom had a full bathroom.

The view of the Smoky Mountains was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself is gorgeous inside, with an open atrium where you can look up and see all the floors. The glass elevators were a favorite feature—they made the ride up to our room feel extra special.

The pool area was amazing! The water slides were so much fun, and I loved that none of the pool areas were too deep for my 4-year-old. There was also a hot tub and a pizza place nearby, making it easy to spend hours enjoying the pool.

The grounds were beautiful to walk around, with plenty of great spots for photos. Everything was clean, family-friendly, and well-maintained.

We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

I didn’t bring up the following shortfalls to the hotel staff at checkout because, a lot of times these type of things tend not to be addressed due to multiple reasons. Extremely loud and non efficient hvac unit. Room furniture very dusty and almost coming off its hinges (door that concealed the refrigerator). Balcony flooring could use some touch up paint. Housekeeping was asked to return in 15-20 minutes (at around 9:30) and never did all day. Called the front desk with no response to our request for cleaning or follow up. Next day still no housekeeping visit. Had to physically go down to the front desk and ask for it. $18 parking fee, which is a little much considering the size of the parking lot which is enormous. Should just have guest hang the parking permit on car mirror and that would let security know you’re a guest. Hotel is extremely quiet and far enough away from the main strip that it makes your stay easier. Staff is very friendly and helpful so the shortfalls were not that horrible.
