Hard to imagine a better place to stay while in Gatlinburg. The rooms are fantastic. The showers are bigger than some closets, and have a three-nozzle setup that's amazing. The rooms also have balconies that have wonderful views of the surrounding area.

The hotel property has a really nice bar, an an incredible pool area, and is centrally located within walking distance of pretty much anything in town. You have to pay for parking, but I guess that's par for the course in this area of Gatlinburg.

I also have to say, I had a problem with my neighbors and the hotel immediately moved me to a different room. So customer service is top notch. Like I say, it's hard to imagine a better experience while staying in this town.

George greeted us before we even got out of the car! He was very friendly and informative. He explained parking and offered to help with our bags. After dinner we rested outside on the terrace, next to the relaxing fireplace. The room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. We even watched a movie before bed. This resort is beautiful. I wish we remembered our bathing suits for the heated pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the All-American breakfast (which did not disappoint) on our balcony overlooking the city with the Smokies in the background. It was hard to choose between soaking in the large tub or washing in the oversized waterfall shower. The custom embroidered robes helped us ease into our day. Loved the Jimmy Buffett themed decor. It definitely felt like we were islandside in the middle of the mountains. We will be back for sure!

The property is really nice, clean and has great amenities. Great location and I recommend it for sure.

Just some minor stuff that needs upgrading…the tv is satellite(not a smart tv) which is pretty awful for an upscale resort as such and the pillows are some of the worst ones Ive slept on. They’re quick to say no smoking but other guests smoked right on the property. The older lady with glasses at the check in desk was rude and seemed impatient. We hadnt checked out the pool yet and were curious about pool towels and she made a face and was rude when she told us theyre at the pool like we were supposed to know automatically.

Manager Monty was extremely unprofessional Milly desk work completely unprofessional she hugged me without my permission they both mad comments no one should share with a paying guest after I complained they became very aggressively rude toward me and my family !never acknowledged us gave free drinks too white family didn’t offer any to us and it was a birthday! Also pool wasn’t working in door nor the infinity pool the parking lot was limited but charging 15$ a night guest didn’t have nowhere to park ! Spoke with ray he did give us a few breakfast which wasn’t enough I wouldn’t recommend this location

Margaritaville never disappoints! It’s the only place I’ll stay. Had a small problem with noisy kids next door and they addressed it immediately. Was the first time since I started staying there when they opened that there was ever any issues of any kind. All the staff are friendly. Location could not get any better! Counting the days till I get back there.

Great stay, everything was amazing i wished house keeping was a little more thorough in cleaning and replenishing the room ie coffee, sugars etc.. there were random hairs in the shower. Other than that 10/10 would stay again.
Spa was great i had a gentleman who needed to trim his nails. I did ask for a Swedish massage when i booked but was given a deep tissue. Not complaining but i didn’t feel heard.

Room was clean but had a very loud wind tunnel like noise. Also, when I went to get on the elevator the door opened and then closed quickly as I was stepping in and the door smashed me. Almost a week later and I still have the bruising to show for it. The hotel staff seemed unbothered by the fact that I was hurt. I had to ask to talk to someone about it 3 different times before I got to speak with a manager. Not 1 \"I'm sorry this happened\" I then needed to stay an extra night because I was too sore to drive home 6 hours. One would think the hotel would have given compensation for the extra night or at least a discount. Nope, I was offered a $50.00 dining credit that wasn't good for anything other than room service or the bar and when I checked out, I had to go back to the front desk because my credit had not been applied. Customer Service Training needs to be done at this hotel.

I have stayed at this resort several times starting in 2023 and always loved the place. I most recently booked a reservation through Expedia for my stay at the Gatlinburg, TN Margaritaville Resort and was checking in on 11/24/26 and checking out on 11/26/26. Upon my arrival, I was informed by the desk clerk that there was a new mandatory $15 per day parking fee for a total of $30 for my stay. I had not been informed of the new fee with my online booking prior to my arrival and it was not listed on the Margaritaville website. Upon checkin, it was too late to cancel my booking. I understand that additional fees are sometimes necessary but they all need to be disclosed at the time of booking. I'm very disappointed

We weren’t aware we had to pay $15 a day to park before we got there. At night there is a terrible rushing sound in the hall that sounds like a tornado coming through. We went there to see the parrots that have always been there, but they are no longer there. Everywhere we went there were extra taxes added to our bills. It’s not the same anymore. We left a day early as a result of all of this.
