This hotel was excellent. It is a little louder than most hotels due to the music in the hallways but it is turned down in the evening. It was a great experience for me, that’s just an fyi. The beds are comfortable and the shower is amazing. The staff were extremely friendly no matter where you encountered them. The pool was excellent. And there is probably not another hotel in a better location in Gatlinburg. This will now be my “go to” hotel every time I come to town. I highly recommend.

We took a short family trip with two children ages 9 & 11. We stayed in a family suite with king bed and fold out sofa bed for the kids. The kids area was in a separate room with a tv for them. We all had our own privacy in the room. This trip was an amazing experience. I recommend checking out a schedule of events before you book. We didn’t know, but were elated to find a live bird showing from parrot mountain on Tuesday at 9:00am. My children were over the moon! Staff was welcoming upon our arrival. Check in was quick and easy. Room was very clean. The bathroom and shower were amazing. The only complaint I would have is the pillows, recommend taking your own or asking for alternates if flat down pillows aren’t your thing. I wasn’t prepared for that. The outside lounge and pool areas were amazing. License to chill bar was also amazing with great service. 10/10 recommend.

The Fitness Room was very hot due to the A/C being down during the entire stay. It was reported to several hotel personnel but no action was taken. Sitting in the balcony was not enjoyable due to the noise of the A/C unit which is housed in a closed in the balcony! Also, it was very loud inside the room itself.

My room is not clean. We don’t have a breakfast stop help, but I still have my not good service for my room.

My next time trip, I need to visit places that we haven’t visit before and we need to at least morning breakfast and a hotel include ticket and try to man listen and learn to clean the rooms every day because people not come out 9 o’clock whatever people leave 10 1030 11 o’clock then people visit and check the rooms that happen with my three days. I’m stop your hotel. Nobody clean my room that’s my very important message. And I’m really disappointed that no one came to our room to clean when we were out. We always come back in the room and no one cleaned our room. One staff told us to leave towels outside the door and then they could get them but they didn’t but the next day they did.

This hotel was beautiful. The entire staff was helpful and nice, from the valet to the front desk, to the maintenance. They all greeted us throughout our stay even though we didn't use the valet or maintenance. We didn't see a use for the valet because parking was easy. But that keeps your car in the front of the hotel if you plan to leave a lot. The hotel is in such a great location we walked everywhere. We ate twice at the Blue Moose which is the hotel's restaurant and their wings were amazing. We didn't use it but they have 24/7 room service as well. The only negative was that we had a balcony room facing the pool, which I believe I paid more for. It was a little gross out there...cobwebs, a little bird dirt, chairs that were dirty. We never used the balcony because of it.

The moment you step into the lobby, you are in a beach resort. The fragrance that fills the room is tropical and wonderful. There are island tunes, including Jimmy Buffet playing, there a numerous seating areas, some with heavily cushioned swings. The bar and gift shop are easily accessed, and the lobby looks out to a lounge and pool area. There are fire pits, corn hole, tv screens, a pool with slide, hot tub, and kids pool. There is also a shallow lounging pool on a second story deck, and tables and hammocks are tucked away in the perimeter. Rooms are very spacious and most have balconies. The bathroom is very spacious. There is a wet bar with a spacious mini fridge. You can even request a margarita blender. The beds are comfortable. You get the best of both worlds, the beach amid the mountains.

Very large and comfortable bedroom and bath with a small kitchenette - sink, fridge and microwave. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken. However, the shower was awesome. Everything was clean although the corridor rugs were somewhat worn. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous. The pool was always filled with kids so it’s not terribly relaxing. The food in the cafe and bar was very good. Exiting the property was tricky given the traffic, but the location near the Main Street is perfect.

They allowed under age 5 kids in the hot tub late at night and one of them almost drowned, the dad who was nowhere near, casually walked over like nothing happened then continued to play on his phone while the same 4 yr old said he used the bathroom (#2) in the hot tub so everyone got out. Reported to front desk they did nothing. Next day, two teens were sliding down the water slide together which is negligent as is, and one of them eventually cut the top of his head open and got blood everywhere in the pool and concrete. So no pool on Day 2. Again, the front desk offered nothing for these situations, even tried to charge for parking and declined late checkout unless you paid a fee. I will never stay here again.

This location has done a great job maintaining the level of hospitality from the beginning of their establishment in Gatlinburg. We have stayed there almost every year since they opened and at least twice a year.
But now something is going wrong, something is happening with the facility that has caused hesitation. They are moving to charging $15.00 per night to park in their parking lot. You know?,....The same parking lot at the hotel you're staying at.
Seriously, I have to pay to park at the same hotel I'm staying at?????
This ain't right,; on any level.......
Somehow greed and customer exploitation has now entered the picture.
We are truly saddened by the decision making by the management of this facility as this move will certainly cause our greatest hesitation when visiting the Gatlinburg area in the future.

The property is in a perfect location. You can walk to anywhere you want to go in Gatlinburg. We have been coming to this hotel for many years. The staff is always helpful and friendly but we did notice this year that the rooms are getting a little tired and could use a refresh. They are clean but some of the furniture (chair in the king room) are stained and the beds are not as comfortable as they have been in the past.
The rooms are very quiet which is nice. Even in the poolside rooms you can not hear outside noise at night.

Hard to imagine a better place to stay while in Gatlinburg. The rooms are fantastic. The showers are bigger than some closets, and have a three-nozzle setup that's amazing. The rooms also have balconies that have wonderful views of the surrounding area.

The hotel property has a really nice bar, an an incredible pool area, and is centrally located within walking distance of pretty much anything in town. You have to pay for parking, but I guess that's par for the course in this area of Gatlinburg.

I also have to say, I had a problem with my neighbors and the hotel immediately moved me to a different room. So customer service is top notch. Like I say, it's hard to imagine a better experience while staying in this town.

George greeted us before we even got out of the car! He was very friendly and informative. He explained parking and offered to help with our bags. After dinner we rested outside on the terrace, next to the relaxing fireplace. The room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. We even watched a movie before bed. This resort is beautiful. I wish we remembered our bathing suits for the heated pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the All-American breakfast (which did not disappoint) on our balcony overlooking the city with the Smokies in the background. It was hard to choose between soaking in the large tub or washing in the oversized waterfall shower. The custom embroidered robes helped us ease into our day. Loved the Jimmy Buffett themed decor. It definitely felt like we were islandside in the middle of the mountains. We will be back for sure!

The property is really nice, clean and has great amenities. Great location and I recommend it for sure.

Just some minor stuff that needs upgrading…the tv is satellite(not a smart tv) which is pretty awful for an upscale resort as such and the pillows are some of the worst ones Ive slept on. They’re quick to say no smoking but other guests smoked right on the property. The older lady with glasses at the check in desk was rude and seemed impatient. We hadnt checked out the pool yet and were curious about pool towels and she made a face and was rude when she told us theyre at the pool like we were supposed to know automatically.

Overall, 4/5.
