I loved everything except there was no microwave so don’t bring food back from a restaurant. The mini fridge wasn’t very cold but that was probably isolated. Aside from that it was perfect.

Hard to check in and park. There is no office, just staff wandering around to check you in. Parking Terrible. We were woken up at 7:30 am and asked to move car. No place else to park. Charged some kind of environmental fee? The hotel does have a good view and the rooms were clean. I would skip this one.

It’s a beautiful view of the river from our balcony. I didn’t read the fine print and you do pay for parking each night, you need to pay to park almost everywhere in Gatlinburg. I was wishing our room had a microwave.

My only disappointment. Breakfast, even though complementary, would of been delightful as the scenery, if it wasnt made like it was complementary. Having a culinary degree you would hope that the egss Benedict would have poached eggs, not almost hard boiled and a hollandaise sauce, not a scoop of ????. And cold potatoes too.

The room was excellent, spotless and in great repair. The only thing missing was a shower curtain that was not required, due to having a large soaking tub with beautiful views of a rolling creek. The on-site Heirloom Restaurant was fantastic and included a full bar with our favorites. The staff were all very friendly and informative. The best was yet to come, the next morning, we enjoyed the free menu ordered breakfast. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you all for the best time in Gatlinburg.

The heat wasn’t that great, the unit is outdated and can’t keep up even though the room is small. Why is the sink outside the bathroom, why is there no microwave? But the view setting over the river was very nice!

Probably my best stay in a hotel in the Smokies! The customer service was outstanding, the room was clean and cozy with the roaring creek off the balcony with 2 nice rocking chairs. The property is well maintained. The REAL breakfast at the Heirloom House was included each day and a real sit down, order from the menu, upscaled restaurant. They serve dinner and drinks as well. Excellent customer service there too. If you need anything like ice or water or towels, it's only a text message away and is promptly provided. It's only a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The hotel is quiet with no children allowed. I would definitely stay there again.

Was a very personable experience. Close to everything, had breakfast included which was right next door at a fancy restaurant. Staff was excellent, allowed us to check-in early and checkout a bit late(breakfast at restaurant took some extra time). Overall great experience!

Everything about this hotel is very special. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Matthew greeted us with such kindness and truly went out of his way to show us around and get us settled in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. You are the right on the main road for a convenient stroll into town but feel absolutely tucked away with just the river, fireplace and your travel partners. All the details were lovely.
The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no reception area , so all communication happens via texts, emails it waiting for the innkeepers in the parking lot area.

Very cozy and clean. Towels were quickly changed before we could even ask. Check in service was top tier. The river ambiance was incredible. Definitely a great stay to unwind and relax.

I was so excited for this stay but it has not gone as expected. The room and grounds are clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The issues I had were, this is listed as a pet friendly hotel and I would not agree with that. There is not a pet relief area on the grounds and when I asked for areas the only ones available were right on a busy road, in a flower bed, or the hotel next door. So keep this in mind when traveling with a dog. I proactively paid the pet feed the week before my trip assuming it would be easier and in doing this gave them my credit card after already paying for my stay with a virtual card and not only did they try to run the whole stay through my personal card twice even though it was already paid, now 3 days after my stay they have run the pet fee through a second time. There was an issue with the room door code and the battery being dead in the lock and honestly I question if my room locked at all the first three days I was there. This has been a very disappointing experience overall.

This is by no means a luxury hotel, it feels like you are in a motel. The rooms are very small. The toilet was a foot and a half from our bed if we did not slide the door shut it was a ghastly sight! The pictures are quiet deceiving! This hotel is located on the busiest street in town we were there over Thanksgiving and it took us an hour to get out and cover 1 mile with bumper to bumper traffic. I had hoped to have a relaxing time but honestly there was no place to relax in the room and there is no common area. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit on the balcony. We are experienced travelers and found it to be totally overpriced at almost 450.00 a night we stayed in the Majestic Glen.
That said the staff was amazing and very responsive, they have a nice upscale restaurant on site with good food. This was a lifesaver because all restaurants in town were packed with people and with no availability. The Heirloom Room was not overcrowded we could relax and enjoy our meals.

Great Balcony view. The room was clean, fresh and not cluttered. The decor was quiet, simple and tasteful. It had zen like quality that made it very restful. The only thing I would add is a small microwave as we like to heat our milk for coffee but that’s a small thing. We loved that we were off the beaten path a little. My only complaints would be the way the bathroom was laid out the water just pooled into the center of the floor leaving a literal puddle if you took a shower. And if you get the end room [im assuming the ones with the tub] you hear the washing machine running alot. But over all everything was wonderful.

It's really super cute! They did a great job putting lipstick on a pig in the best way possible. The room is clean and comfy and the river view and sounds are fantastic! I was apprehensive due to the town being one giant tourist trap but if you're visiting the park and need a respite, this is the place :)

So glad we chose this property. Perfect for the 40+, no kids crowd. A bit away from the worst of the traffic, the balcony over the river was a wonderful way to begin and end each day, and the restaurant and bar at the property was top notch.

There is nothing wrong with the room. But you should review where the hotel is compared to downtown. It is a little bit away from everything, but that was a plus for a peaceful evening. Dinner ate the Heirloom Room was AMAZING! I loved that we had our own parking spot. The rooms were fairly quiet you didn't hear a lot of road noises so that was a plus. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed this place. It’s very unique and very boutique style. The view we had was spectacular. I do wish they had true room cleaning instead of just tidying up. Even turn down service would’ve been great. Other than that, we loved it and would return!

We had a balcony directly over a river with a view of river and mountain forest. So we felt we were remote and away from the world. However, when you exited the room you were on a Main Street with a free trolley ride to down town. Or you could walk the mile to get to the center of town and the aquarium. The room was very sound proof. So , I had the “feel” of being away from it all in a remote location but when I wanted “city life and people” I had that feel too. Best of both worlds. Finally, the onsite restaurant is excellent. At least 4 stars in my opinion and the best in the region. Chef Carlos really cooks and presents his dishes very well. The wine selection is great. I highly recommend both the rooms and the restaurant.

Our stay was excellent. The inn is very close to ‘downtown’ Gatlinburg but far enough away to be relatively quiet. Our room’s balcony directly overlooked the West Prong Little Pigeon River. Staff was great—attentive and prompt. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Great for a couple looking to get away.

Older property on the river. Quaint and rustic so if you like that in a hotel, this is your place! It’s a nice place and good location but…If you or your spouse has issue with bugs/spiders, or if you need internet/tv to work 100% of the time, look for something newer or with rooms accessible from inside the hotel building (no spiders on your room door!).

Firstly, the staff were amazing. Friendly and attentive to our needs. If we needed anything all we had to do was text them and it would arrive. This property doesn’t have a lobby.
This property is not your typical hotel. That would be their sister property across the river. The rooms you see in the website is for the suite room, not the bottom floor rooms.
The bed we had was comfortable. There was no dresser in the room so my husband felt as if he was living out of a suitcase.
The room was very quiet even though we were on a busy street. What wasn’t quiet was the A/C unit in 112. Maintenance came to try and fix it. He removed the filters which seemed to help, until it didn’t.
I loved being close to the river and sitting in rocking chairs watching the water go by…until it rained. The balcony above didn’t go all the way over ours, so rain poured in where we would have been.
All in all, we had a pleasant enough stay. We would come back but we’d make sure we got a room in the second floor.

Rooms are great but not luxury. Staff is outstanding. Parking is tight if you dont have a small car. Location not great busy road rough getting in or out. Microwave would have helped. Have to go to bar to get ice

My husband who is an engineer thought he would just clean the filter on the air conditioning unit. Upon doing so he found that the unit was filthy dirty with several bounce dryer sheets shoved into the filter causing the fan to overwork. Once the dryer sheets were removed the smell became even more apparent. I realized when I booked this property that it was a pet friendly hotel that was older, but this was to much. We honestly were afraid of getting sick from the smell. The staff on site was completely understanding and they were able to switch us to a different room. No smell and quiet air conditioner. like I said earlier, the staff was amazing and helpful. However, it's just a little concerning that you're going to advertise yourself as a small luxury hotel. You clearly have spent the time and the money to update the rooms in this older property but don't bother to clean or maintain your A/C units. The staff did state some of the rooms smell because it's an older property. I didn't really feel that that is an acceptable answer. I've been a nurse for over 30 years and I know the smell of urine. Within five hours of them switching our room someone else was in that room again. I could have paid less for a larger room somewhere else with a pool.
