A wonderful hotel in a safe Paris neighborhood

Great location, easy access to public transit, very safe neighborhoods, super comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff- Exan at the front desk was so very helpful and kind. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Paris!

I stayed one night during a business trip, for that the hotel was fine, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, but the room was very small, struggled a bit to get my two small/medium sized luggages in and there was no mini fridge. For one night I'd definitely book it again, but not for a longer stay. The breakfast options were also fine.

I requested the high floor and arrived at the start of check in. But the front desk gave us two room all at the level 1. I booked one family room and one superior room. The worst thing was that the sink in one room was clogged and the other room faced a very dirty back alley with a very bad smell. When we wanted to change rooms, she said there were no rooms available.

Staff needs to be more informed about what hotel is offering. For instance, the staff never told us about the light breakfast available. Staff could not provide any suggestions on restaurants in the area. A do not disturb sign was never provided even after informing the staff. Wifi in room was not stable at all. Wifi in local restaurants was better. Even in the lobby of the hotel the Wifi was not stable, therefore, hotel needs to invest in better internet.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Jade at reception is a total asset to this hotel. She’s friendly, polite and super helpful! The room was fab, the bed was comfortable and daily
Room service to make bed and fresh towels was enjoyable to nice to come back to after a long day sightseeing.

The location was awesome for eating places and cafes and about a 10 min walk to the hop on hop off bus stop. We felt safe in the area too which is essential when travelling with young kids.

Breakfast was ok, the choice wasn’t huge but we enjoyed it. The unlimited free coffee and hot chocolate was a huge bonus for us coffee lovers!

We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back.

Nunca la arreglaron y siempre que queríamos ir a la habitación, teníamos que pedir que la abrieran. ¡Increíble! Jade fue siempre muy amable pero no había mucho que ella pudiera hacer. Por otro lado, el desayuno fue pésimo (el café malísimo y la única leche que había era de vaca.

Room not made up for 12 year old in a family room. Sheets dirty on arrival. Only one member of staff helpful. One small bottle of water in room for three people. No bar in hotel no atmosphere. Dreary room. Bathroom was clean however. Booked during Olympics so price over inflated. Would never choose to stay here again. Literally a drab soulless hotel. Oh and espresso machine rubbish and gone off milk provided in room. Look elsewhere for character and atmosphere

Stayed for 5 nights perfect location to absolutely everything!!!! We walked back to hotel from Latin quarter and it was completely convenient. Staff, everyone was above and beyond helpful and polite. Room was exactly as pictured but besides sleeping and showering we weren’t in the room. Towels I have to say were absolutely amazing!!!!!! I have stayed at several hotels this year but these were so nice I wanted to buy them!!!! Thank you we will be back!!!!

Don’t miss it!

The hotel’s location is perfect for restaurants and action. Although the room was small, it was comfortable with all amenities. The towels were the largest in any hotel I’ve been in France. BW saved the trip from being a disaster.

Very good stay. Left a aBnB that was well below par to come to stay at BW. Speedy checkin. Cold A/C , hot shower with good pressure, spacious room for Paris, very comfy bed, Nice breakfast. Great location, close to two subway stations, great variety of restaurants, cafe, shops, other amenities. Quiet and clean. Would recommend highly.

Very expensive for what it is- the hotel is a bit run down and the beds are very hard. Walls and floors are thin so we had loud neighbors keep us up most nights. Safe wasn’t working, reading lights were out. For half the price all could be forgiven but the price we paid we were expecting more.

We loved the location of this hotel! Restaurants and shopping were steps away from our door! The Opera Bus stop was a few blocks away, through a wonderful neighborhood with shopping and restaurants. Also, there were a couple of metro stops close by, as well.

Unfortunately, the rooms were extremely small and the staff was not fantastic. There was also major construction going on but, thankfully, we left early and got back late so were never affected by this.

You have construction worker working at 7am in your balcony with a hammer and a drill.
When asked the hotel for a refund and compensation they refused.

Good hotel with friendly staff

Firstly, I’ll start with the positives - the hotel is conveniently located with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and great metro links across Paris. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. At the moment there is scaffolding around the building for construction works but we didn’t hear works until Monday morning at approx. 8-8:30am so didn’t really affect our stay (stayed Saturday evening until Monday morning). There were two rooms in our group, a double and a family, the family room was decently sized but the double was very small. Fortunately for us (as the couple), we weren’t spending much time in the room and only had backpacks so didn’t need to worry about suitcases as it would have been an extremely tight squeeze with large bags. Now, our complaint about the stay (which was out of the control of the hotel so we haven’t marked down for this) was that on Saturday night there was a party close by to the hotel which played extremely loud music until around 4am (singing along to Spice Girls, Wannabe at 3:30am was not how I planned on spending my night). The windows in the room do not block out any noise outside so if you’re sensitive to noise, you may need earplugs. Sunday night was quieter, thankfully, and we were able to get much needed rest. Overall, a good hotel and would consider staying here again.

The hotel is well located with wonderful sights and restaurants within 30 minutes walk. Room is modern and tasteful but lacking in some finesse. For examples, bathroom and the separate toilet do not have hooks to hang towels or clothes. The LED clock is bright and disruptive to sleep given its position facing the beds. During my stay, the lift was constantly under repair and having to walk 6 floors up was tiring especially after a day of walking. Room has a nice coffee machine but capsules looked dusty. Did not dare to use the milk capsule which has no expiry date given the dusty capsules. Would have rated the hotel higher except that I paid roughly USD300 a night.

Staff was great but the fact that the elevator was out of commission the entire time we were there (and we were told it had already been out of commission for some time) was a bit aggravating. Seven spiral flights of stairs is not fun. However, we were in room 705, which has a fantastic view of the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, so highly recommend that room (with a working elevator).

Nice, cozy room in a boutique-like hotel within a great location, with lots of restaurants around. Though small sized room, perhaps not unusual for Europe, it makes up in terms of the layout and style of furniture and amenities. Staff was really pleasant and helpful. Wifi was also good. No complaints with the room or hotel, though there could be noise issues if there are rowdy guests in neighboring rooms.

Situated in a bustling area, many cafes locally & a 20 min walk from both Notre Dame & Moulin Rouge. Theres a metro station 2 mins away, the room is small with a large wet room but very clean & serviced daily with fresh towels. Our room was next to the lift but was not a problem. Good value & friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel & certainly use again if i return to Paris!

I loved this hotel. It was located in a great neighborhood in the opera district in the 5th Arrindissement. The closest metro station is about 4 blocks away at Richilieu-Drouot. There’s several cafes near-by and several hidden arcades right by the hotel.

The only consistent downside was that the internet hardly worked. This was really hard. I needed the internet to do research, but tickets, post, and keep in touch. The internet would sometimes work, but only a generous 30% of the time. We tried to buy tickets to Disney Paris but the internet wouldn’t connect to any of our mobile devices. We went down to the lobby to use the desktop the hotel provides, but the internet didn’t work on that either. Finding good WiFi in Paris is hard and I did expect it to work consistently, with a decent speed, at the hotel I paid for.

We appreciated the location - a market right across the street, a number of Metro stations, and easy walk to a number of areas of interest. Our room was upgraded to a larger room which was appreciated because comments from others who have stayed at this hotel indicated that the rooms were quite small - but the carpet had multiple stains and a pair of underwear was hanging on the bathroom door so it didn't feel clean. Yikes...

Great Location, Lots of Restaurants and Cafes

Great overnight stay here. Smaller rooms and the beds are on the firm side, but the seventh floor has a great view of the surrounding rooftops. Staff was very helpful and accommodating with stashing luggage early, fetching ice for us, and storing some cheeses in the hotel fridge as our room didn't have a fridge. Awesome location near lots of cafes, grocery, and bakeries. Right off of the Grand Boulevard Metro station. We did have to pay an extra Paris Tourism Tax upon arrival (which didn't amount to much).

Hotel s best virtue is its close proximity

Best western in Drouot area is in a great location .
Centrally located near many restaurants , major shopping centers , Museums , etc .
Economical if you intend not to spend much time in your room . Not a romantic paradise !
Staff is helpful and cooperative and speak English well . Noisy if your room is located by street side which mine was so bring your ear plugs if your a light sleeper .. Otherwise , a good value with a fantastic location !

Descent Hotel for a price in Paris.

Staff is good but not really useful or helpful quick to make up excuses but will never really help. Aside from that good hotel if you get a good price at the full price I would definately look elsewhere. Neighbourhood is descent quick walk to restaurants and within 10-15 min walk to Louvre. Quick note on pricing they offer price with and without breakfast this is not indicated on Hotels.com site but chances are if you got your room at a discount rate there breakfast is not included. Breakfast is cheap at the hotel and definitely worth paying for after the fast if you got the rate without breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great stay. The room was smaller than we thought but that only mattered because we put a baby cot in it. There were plenty of things to do within walking distance and restaurants and supermarkets. We loved it there and would definitely stay again. They stay was fine. The discription on Hotels.com of the hotel was not correct. For instance it says that there's laundry service but there wasn't and other small things like that. The AC didn't work and not all the staff had knowledge of the area. All in all it was still a nice place to rest and plenty to do near by.

Pros: very polite and nice staff; room conditions are great, newly decorated, modern and neat, not spacious but smartly put together. Cons: queen bed is small for two people, not a good option for comfortable sleep. While reservation on Hotels.com the Breakfast not-included condition was not well informed, not a big spending for one or two but for a family weekend stay it's not pleasant.

Perfect hotel for a short break in Paris. While our room was small, it was cosy and very clean and comfortable. The hotel was only a few hundred yards from two Metro stations and some great bars and restaurants. Staff spoke excellent English and were nothing but friendly and helpful at all times.
Given the hotels location, environment, friendliness, proximity to Metro stations, cleanliness and very competitive price, I would recommend it to anyone.

We had 2 nights in this hotel and the room was very very small. Not enough room to move. The toilet was separate from the wash hand basin and shower and the room was not soundproof !! When my partner and I went to bed, we both rolled into the middle of the mattress!
This place is not for us and I was glad to leave after 2 nights fortunately to another hotel in another part of Paris which for the same money was far superior.

Great hotel. A couple of minutes from a metro that has two lines. Room was spacious and spotless. Great facilities too. Only drawback in the room is there is no wardrobe or drawer space just a few hangers. Apart from one person on reception though the rest of the staff were rude.

Convenient and happening neighborhood

I had the room with a slanted ceiling which was fine for a solo traveler. I would not suggest this specific room for more than one person.
Overall.. good experience.

Quiet little hotel in 9th district

Small room but comfortable for 3 of us. Near a metro stop which wa very helpful and cute crepe places near by. Didn't explore much of the area as we were here for a few days and stuck to central Paris for sightseeing. It's on a quiet street so no worries of being loud and front desk staff was always helpful when we had questions.

Hotel is very well managed, staff most helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast is good and copious
; buffet style. The room I had was quite small but was very well organised,excellent use of space and with a walk-in shower that functioned very well. The situation of the hotel is also excellent; a lot of areas (Pompidou to Champs Élysées/Opera/grands magasins) accessible by foot but 1 so excellent transport links for the less mobile.

Lovely small hotel with good connections in Paris

Lovely hotel, old style building in Opera brought up to date with flair. Rooms are decorated nicely and pan head shower in small but well set out bathroom. Bed very comfy but not much storage space for clothes- perfect for an enjoyable, short break in Paris.

Great base for sightseeing.

Very good, very comfortable. Great location for sightseeing. The only issue we had was the lift was broken when we got there and we were on the 5th floor, which was a bit tricky with all our luggage but apart from that, great little hotel.

pay extra for superior room

Great hotel for value in lively area. It is a very busy area so expect some noise outside until the early hours as lots of restaurants and bars in the area but it is nothing out of tthe ordinary of a busy city. The standard rooms are very small. Pay a little extra for a superior as the room is at least 50% larger. V modern decor and bathroom. Friendly reception staff. I'd go back.

Convenient location but very noisy

The location was close to the metro and there were several good restaurants and supermarkets. We were given what I would describe as a single room with a double bed which I assume qualified it as a double. The room was spotlessly clean and this was maintained throughout our five night stay. A feature of the room which swayed our initial choice was the coffee machine but I had not realised that it was for decoration rather than a utility as the coffee was replenished once and I had to ask at reception for refills. Unfortunately when I asked a second time they had run out.

Great hotel for the money

The hotel was in a decent location, you can walk to the Louvre and it's right around the corner from a subway stop. The room was quirky and fun. The bathroom was small but nice and with a hair dryer. Whil we were there the internet went out so that was the only big negative.

Comfortable & Well Located Hotel

Hotel was comfortable and well located. The room was equipped with everything that we needed and the hotel looked and felt in good condition. The day time receptionist was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located and central to everything. Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.
