Probably the most amazing beach in the Caribbean. 2 amazing heated pools. Food is great with so many gluten free and vegan options. As well as seafood, chicken etc. Spa is top shelf. If you're looking for somewhere to relax and kick back, this is it. They have entertainment on certain nights and have an amazing beach bar alongside a fresh pizza station. Its also kid friendly. Choose from regular rooms or book with family at a beach house or estate villa. We will be going back. Thank You Como Parrot Cay.

One negative feedback was the guys that work at the boat house were a bit rude and didn’t seem to want to be bothered.

Perfect place to run away for a special event.

Don’t arrive on a Friday afternoon! The majority of the custom agents leave at 3 o’clock on Fridays. It took us about 90 minutes of waiting in line to get through customs. You can buy a pass 4 days in advance that will allow you to go through faster. I would check with the hotel for information.

It takes about 90 minutes to get to the hotel. The 30 minute boat ride was enjoyable and easy. Once we reached the island, we boarded a large golf cart type of vehicle for a 15 minute drive to the hotel.

Overall the food choices were wonderful. Harry went out of his way to make sure we had any and everything we wanted at the beach.

I recommend taking advantage of some of the exercise classes such as the yoga one. Both the class and setting were worth the effort. Do not miss having a massage. My husband and I had the deep tissue massage. Which was amazing.

What makes this hotel outstanding is the privacy at the beach. The beach and isolation are fantastic.
The pools are warm and inviting. Biking around the island was fun.

On top of the posted taxes and service charges per day there was an additional unexpected almost $100.00 charge a night that no one could properly explain. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world. This was the most expensive and not the nicest. We enjoyed our stay but probably won't be back. To many other nice places to go.

Parrot Cay is a beautiful resort that offers an unspoiled beautiful beach with plenty of privacy. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The only negative comment was our bed had a stained decorative cover that should not have been used and replaced each day.

Short of that mistake, the staff made you feel more than welcome and worked to make your stay perfect. It was very close to it!

This was our third trip to this COMO property. Unfortunately the beach is not in the condition that it had been on our previous trips -chairs are placed on an elevated area and not directly on the beach which was a huge disappointment and may deter us from taking future trips to this location.

Other than that the staff are amazing and the resort is beautiful. Overall, it was an amazing trip.

Fantastic and peaceful stay. The staff is top notch - Rikardus, Jillian, Diamato (D), Harry and Lorenzo were complete standouts and made our stay perfect in every way. The friendliest, kindest people you will meet.

The food is delicious and balanced (love the fact that paper straws are a must there!), the beds were so firm and comfortable and the views are unparalleled. Making this a staple go-to for the future and I recommend anyone to just book it - don’t wait!

A beautiful resort that keeps us coming back. The only complaint is that there is not much going on after dinner for guests who don't want to go to sleep at 10pm. If they had live entertainment some nights, that would make the resort even better. But overall, it is a 5 star expereince in every way.

The Perfect Romantic Getaway!

I had the pleasure of staying here over the recent President's Day long weekend, and used the opportunity to arrange a surprise sunset proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancee!) on Valentine's Day. Parrot Cay is its own island, a 30 minute boat ride from Providenciales (this is arranged by the resort for both arrival and departure, with black car transportation between Blue Haven Marina and the airport). It is the perfect place to get away from everyday hustle and bustle and truly indulge in Turks and Caicos's soft white sand beaches and sparkling blue waters. The resort is gorgeous and features 2 gourmet restaurants with menus that change everyday. The staff at COMO Parrot Cay are phenomenal and dedicated to making sure guests have an unforgettable experience. Nadia helped me arrange a guitarist and photographer for the big moment, and a specially tailored menu for our post-proposal private beach dinner. Things came together flawlessly and better than I even imagined! During our stay, my fiancee and I enjoyed an immaculate couples massage and a separate Ayurvedic treatment (complete with personal consult) at the Shambhala spa, and got to do some other fun things like walk the resort dog, Max, and plant a coconut tree at the resort's coconut plantation, which we are excited to see grow on future visits. My fiancee says our proposal was ethereal and like a fairy tale; it would not have been possible without the perfect combination of place and people that COMO Parrot Cay has!

The reception area on Provo was lovely and we were greeted immediately by a staff member with a welcoming drink. The boat ride was lovely and, again, we were greeted by warm, convivial staff that immediately whisked us to the front entrance where more staff waited to take us to our room. Although 3 couples arrived simultaneously, we each had a staff person assist us so there was no waiting. Additional staff took care of our luggage behind the scenes so you immediately felt a sense of pampering. We were shown directly to our room which was quite nice but not quite as nice as other Como resorts I've been to. That being said, it was still very nice by most standards. The beach was amazing and the 2 pools were right on the beach which was convenient. I was a bit disappointed in the ambiance of the beach restaurant for evenings but the owner was there and it is my understanding that she is addressing this fairly soon. I am hopeful that this upgrade includes an upgrade to the food too. It is good but not as unique as I would expect for a Como resort. The snorkel cruise and mango SUP activities are terrific. The complimentary yoga and pilates classes are exceptional in the yoga pavilion. Overall, it is truly an exceptional resort and is one I will come back to!

I have been to this hotel twice before and enjoyed my experience. However this time, after having paid for my stay ahead of time, I was notified the day before no room was available for me for my first night. I was comped a night at Grace Bay hotel. However, after returning home my credit card was billed for my stay at Grace Bay. When I was reassured by both hotel managers that I would not be charged for the room. It was disappointing to see my credit card billed for both hotels when this was not the tripped I planned and was the error of the hotels.

The room was tiny and absolutely not worth what I was paying. Old furniture, the Nespresso machine was broken, the bathroom was small and the shower had black mildew, when you sat on the \"couch\" you could feel the springs.
Got to the beach at 4:30 pm only to find the attendants putting away all the chairs and a hotel employee asked why I was traveling alone and that I \"should have friends\". The pool was the same situation. The guacamole that I ordered at the pool cost $17 and the portion was miniscule. At dinner a young girl to take my order who had never waited tables and the main course was inedible. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that no one was available until the next morning. My assistant had been corresponding with one of the hotel managers prior to my arrival about my allergy to down pillows. When I awoke the next morning not only was there a cockroach in the room but my entire face was swollen because they had not replaced all the pillows. I spoke to the hotel manger Shirley who was wonderful and did her best to find a solution but I had to find another hotel and left Como Parrot Cay the next day.
2 days of a 6 day vacation I had been looking forward to for months was ruined yet they still going to charged me for 1 of the 2 nights I was there. I was told that they are updating the rooms so perhaps it will get better. Until management trains the staff for the clientele they cater to, I would not recommend staying at Como Parrot Cay

Quiet Luxury, a hidden jem in Turks and Caicos

I have been to many islands, this was by far the most beautiful. If you are looking for one of the most beautiful beaches on a private island, than this is the place. The resort staff are excellent and accommodating. They go out of their way to please you and make sure you have whatever you need. Top notch service. The food was excellent. This is the place to relax and enjoy this beautiful private island. If you want a commercialized vacation, I suggest you go elsewhere. Como Parrot Cay is unique and a different experience. We stayed in the beach front villa and it was fantastic. Food is a bit pricey but understandable in a place like Parrot Cay. The talk about not much to do, is nonsense. We walked the entire beach both ways with beautiful scenery, took bike rides passing celebrity homes, played tennis, and did water activities. It was more than enough for five days. You can't go wrong with Como Parrot Cay.

It was serene, stunningly beautiful, and the food was amazing. It was the most rejuvenating vacation I have ever had.
Dika and Tony were very responsive at the beach and the pool. Lisa (Spa Manager) makes sure you have the perfect spa experience. Consultations with Dr. Parth (Ayurvedic doctor) were insightful and very helpful. Well worth it.

Amazing experience. The beach and the water are just so beautiful and quiet.

What can be improved would be the comfort inside the rooms and the number of water activities (only one catamaran in the water when some other catamarans were on the beach because they did not have any sail on).

Relaxing holiday retreat

Just got back from COMO Parrot Cay. First time guest. Stayed 5 days. Very impressed with the resort. Felt small and personal - like we had the island all to ourselves. Beautiful fine sand beach - felt like you were walking on talcum powder - that stretched out for 20 minutes walk on either side of the beach cabins. Often only 10-20 people on it. Lots of happy staff that tried really hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Great spa. Peaceful, relaxed, beautiful.
Food was delicious.
Can't wait to go back.

Remote and Relaxing

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating Rooms were spacious but are becoming dated. We stayed here during the \"off\" season so one of the bar areas were not open and the drinks were \"fair\" on a couple of the days during our stay. Not sure if they were being trained or just poorly trained and for close to $20 a drink, I expected a \"wow\" from the drink. Breakfasts were good, and of the four nights we had a great dinner. Location and beach were amazing.

Gorgeous beach, lovely property with character. Excellent service. The staff was so friendly and accommodating; they went out of their way to make sure we had every comfort. The food was delicious. We loved the banana stuffed French toast at breakfast and the eggs Benedict. Breakfast is included. There is a full a la carte menu and a buffet and you can partake of both. The night we arrived there was a BBQ down at the beach restaurant. Refined Caribbean take on BBQ. We took the Hobie sailing and that was really fun. All non-motorized equipment was complimentary. The staff at the beach was awesome. Guys full of energy and so helpful setting up chairs and getting us out on the Hobie. We hated to leave. Totally relaxed and casual atmosphere! Strongly recommend!

The hotel is very nice but for the price of the rooms per night I would suggest they update their rooms and bathrooms. Although clean, the bathrooms are outdated and need to be redone and the closet doors got stuck all the time. We also had 2 occasions where we didn't have water due to a water main break. We believed they should have at least compensated everyone with a free drink or dinner. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay.

Dream vacation, perfect for 'unplugging'

We were impressed from start to finish. The staff greeted us at the airport, smooth trip to the boat, boat ride was a glorious introduction to stunning blue green waters. The food is five star, always. The beach is the finest we've ever walked, and we've been to many beaches. Quiet paradise. Amazing pool, with 5 star atmosphere. We'll be back, again and again.

A Private Island Paradise

If paradise is what you are seeking, then Parrot Cay is your paradise! When you arrive at this private island, you will be greeted by an amazing and friendly staff and you will feel as though you have stepped into a different world. Whether you stay in a garden/ocean view room, where the decor is a simple beach elegance or you have a private villa on the beach, you will not be disappointed. The beach/ocean delivers the white powdery sand and crystal clear waters that make Turks and Caicos a sought after destination. The pool and grounds are dreamy and breathtakingly beautiful. Both restaurants on the property offer amazing cuisine. At both restaurants the staff came to know where we liked to sit and what our 2 year old liked to eat, we want to personally thank the following wait staff: Michele, Norman and Junior - these 3 gentleman always went above and beyond for us while we dined. Every morning we were greeted by the woman who serviced our room with a warm smile and she would always make up our daughter's crib with all her blankets and stuffed animals - just a personal touch. As a Pilates instructor, I was blown away by the in-house Pilates instructor, Kira, I wish I had had the opportunity to take more classes, but she returned from holiday the day before we left. However, it was a gift to be taught by her for the 3 classes I did attend. The spa...world class! Finally, thank you to Shirley, thank you for making this trip so special for our family. Perfection!

We spend 5 nights at the Parrot Cay by Como as a couple, and enjoyed very much the attention to detail, food and friendliness of the staff.
Our room ( 603) was very old, the mattresses and furniture, as well, as the bathroom are in urgent need of replacement, never mind the AC which was loud, so loud that even the handyman could not fix it. We did expected at a price like this that this would have been more updated.
The luxe towels and bedsheets did not make up a price tag like this.

Families with children are at a loss of entertainment, and with a wellness concept it can get very irritating when you have suddenly 3-4 children (10-13) playing soccer in front of your pool chairs..... with parents who think just because they pay thousands of Dollars they brood can take over a quiet place. Don't understand me wrong, we are parents too!

Lovely trip. The island and beaches are spectacular. The service and prices less so.

Generally, really enjoyed our trip and people tried really hard to make it good but there were so many little misses from messing up our food orders at the restaurants multiple times to the broken AC dripping puddles on the floor in our room every day to forgetting to put a card for in-room breakfast in the room apart from one day that the service somewhat detracted from the loveliness of the place. Five star prices, three star service.

Definitely not a reason to stay away, but make sure you're aware that this isn't at the level of the Oberoi or Aman groups.

A great getaway

If you're looking to leave the hustle and bustle of every day life and getaway to a beautiful remote location, Parrot Cay is the place for you. Beautiful beach, scenic pool and great service all around. We had a garden king room which was nice, not quite 5 star quality but if you plan on spending most of your time at the beach or pool, then you won't be disappointed. Things close down around 11:00 - 11:30, so if you're looking for a ton of action on your vacation this may not be the place for you.

Picture perfect beach, secluded and child friendly

Stayed in sister hotel in Bhutan but had no idea until after we arrived at Parrot Cay. This group has talent for creating Shangri La in isolated places abounding with natural beauty. The accommodating staff is among the best features of this hotel --- constant smiles and eagerness to help. Food is expensive but top notch (difficult to imagine how such exquisite meals are prepared on a tiny island so far from civilization). Surprised to see so many families. All children looked like having fun while also relaxing. Staff was conscious to separate families from couples if that is what you want. Spa was just perfect. Gym is fully stocked and clean. Group yoga/pilates are gentle but challenging with enthusiastic teachers. Perfect 4 day east coast getaway to recharge in midst of winter blues. Beach is among the nicest we have ever seen -- insulted by reef and with powder white sand.

Part amazing, part just average

The hotel's location was absolutely beautiful with some if the best beaches in the Caribbean. The rooms were very nice for a hotel of this stature and the pool, tennis and gym were also very nice. That said, they did show there age even with immaculate cleaning. The spa was one of nicest I've been and on par with any spa at the four seasons or st Regis I've visited. My only complaints were 1) if you want to do any activities that aren't spa, basic water sports or snorkeling (I.e. Golf or scuba), you have to go back to Provo and unless you're willing to spend $500, you have to work with the hotels departures. Given the boat schedule is not set until 6pm the night before you either have to take a very early a boat or try to arrange plans at the last minute that day of which is not very relaxing. For this reason we are not likely to return. 2) we also found that while some staff were very good and attentive other were some of the worst that we have experienced in this level of hotel.

Private island paradise

Had an amazing experience with my girlfriend for our birthdays. The resort is secluded and gorgeous on all fronts. The miles of pristine beach are breath taking and scarcely occupied. Great infinity pool and dining with breath taking sunset views. Staff goes above and beyond to please guests and no request is seemingly not accomodated. Fresh Cohibas never hurt either!

Great for those looking to relax as well as for tge health conscious. All in close proximity are work out facilities, water sports, yoga, and great spa facilities. Not that the food is too heavy, but there is a lower calorie menu available including juice menu at both restaurants.

Food and cocktails (and service) are also excellent; miles above any all inclusive or what you expect in the Caribean. That said, food and drink was a bit pricey: comparable in price to a Michelin 3 star restaurant, but not on that level quality wise. Cost of goods to a private island I guess??

Overall we loved this gem and recommend it highly. Hopefully we will go back in a few years.

Awful

This hotel was dreadful, we booked for a two wk stay and turned round and came back in one day!!! It is complete false marketing, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures... It is so rundown and old and very expensive considering it's so dreadful... When you pay those prices you expect luxury and it was far from it! The plunge pools in the villas were mouldy and old, the rooms spare, not luxurious at all and very old. Truly shocking!!!
