The resort has so much potential. Our ocean front room in building 4 was spectacular. Building 4 had a private breakfast nook, hot tub, bar on floor 5 as well as a bar restaurant on floor 6. The room had a full kitchen which helped to offset the resort food. The included breakfast was a joke and didn’t offer protein. They offered a credit but we never saw it come off the bill. Unfortunately, that is where the resorts starts to struggle. We chose to eat at the resort nextdoor for lunch because the food was not that good at ours. You do not have many dining options at the resort. The onsite dinner is only a 3 course meal. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the friendliness of the staff. Not everyone fell into this category, however the day time restaurant staff was not friendly. The beach attendants bringing drinks were not friendly. Compared to other resorts on the island we were very disappointed. The resort is very relaxing and has so much potential. The grounds are well maintained. Chairs are so close to the water which was perfect. They need to fix the food options as well as the staff’s attitude.

Most of the staff was kind. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast staff kept accusing us of coming down for seconds. There was a group of 11 of us. I had a cup of coffee at the outside bar and then a second cup at the inside bar. I guess that’s seconds? When I asked for a muffin I was told that that’s a “top shelf muffin” and I could only have “the bottom shelf muffin”. We heard the manager say “watch those women they come for seconds” right in front of our faces, which was untrue. We went down got our continental and paid and tipped for extra eggs etc every morning. we will not go back. Considering we spent $17,000 a second cup of coffee shouldn’t result in being humiliated and labeled

Stayed at the Bungalow which was quieter than the main building. The kitchen and two full bathrooms was key for 4 girls. Breakfast is continental - simple but good (fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, breads, coffee, juices)- and you can order eggs for an additional price. You can sit indoors or outdoors. The resort is on the smaller side so I never had to look too hard for space on the beach or parking space. Drink/Food service (esp on the beach) is slow and prices were similar to the rest of the island (pricey). Staff from when we arrived to when we departed were helpful. Cleaning staff was fine. Shoutout to Larry and Venel at the beach stands who were helpful with water activities.
Overall: If you want a smaller resort with beach access without the top resort prices, I would recommend Windsong.

The room was great, the people were wonderful, the place was not overcrowded, the other guests were respectful - adults and children alike. No crazy day drinkers and children out of control. The Management Team does a great job managing the property. Addressed any concerns you have in a super professional manner. We are so thankful that we picked Windsong on the Reef for our stay.

Very clean, great access to the beach, loved the bikes we rode to town, amazing yoga on Tuesday morning with Izzy, awesome water sports provided, yummy food, best deep tissue massage ever, and great gym. Only feedback would be that the bedroom needs black out curtains as the hallway light shines into the bedroom and the patios need drying racks for swimsuits and wet items from the beach.

Room was extremely cold and the thermometer didn't work, we had to contact engineering to come fix the HVAC in the room. Water pressure in the shower head was so slow that you can only wash your hands and not the body with that slow water pressure. Continental breakfast service was very slow even though there were other seats available, the staff told us to sit somewhere else despite our preference at the table that was available and to our preference. Overall, I would not come back to this hotel. One good thing was the front desk staffs were very helpful

Nice room in older building (poor water pressure in shower), excellent cleaning, JoJos was good, Pelago was awful (note: hotel manager did apply partial refund after chatting with her), pool chairs with umbrellas can be difficult to find (people get up at 6 AM to throw towels on chairs to claim for the day), day spa was good - good Swedish Massage, not a very wide beach, staff was nice/polite- but did not go out of their way to be warm or informative, there is a happy hour bar-but darned if I could find it, nice that the hotel is next to/on Princess Alexandra Reef, but a few miles from “downtown”, cab rides were $16 each way to and from town, tremendous amount of building going on in/around Providenciales - good & bad, had fun at the very touristy Thursday Night Fish Fry, disappointing “sail” on Lady Grace-but in part was due to weather related seas that prevented snorkeling. All in all a nice few days, just not spectacular.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night the first two nights of my reservation. I could not stay due to the fact that I have severe post traumatic stress disorder. I attempted to speak to the staff and manager. I was not given an opportunity to change rooms and was not able to stay there. I was still charged the full amount and have not received any compensation. The staff is as otherwise fine.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. After checking out, I was charged for a bottle of wine that I never took or consumed. When I brought this to their attention, the situation was not handled professionally or fairly.

Food wasnt overwhelming except for the rooftop lounge I had the best Mahi Mahi it was absolutely spectacular. I don’t suggest getting coffee from the Café inside the resort, though the lady had quite the attitude each time I went to get coffee so after the second time, I did not go back. Other than that everyone was great!

I stayed at the Windsong 13 years ago. The upkeep of the hotel was impeccable. The new additions are beautiful. The change was the staff. They were cold & unfriendly. When I ate breakfast I kept seeing 2 girls that worked there staring at me & then look away when I looked at them & smiled. That was how it was for the entirity of the trip with the exception of Raul & Sindy. I asked for a towel at the pool when they ran out & the staff seemed annoyed. My husband asked to take out a kayak & they told him he had to wait 2 hours because of tides. 25 minutes later they gave a kayak to someone else. When I asked why they spoke down to me saying I do not know the tides & were very patronizing. I felt unwanted by the staff. We went to another property for dinner & we felt totally welcomed. I am in the travel industry & this is my 7th time to the island. The people of Turks are the nicest. That is not who was woking here. It is a shame because it is a beautiful property on a beautiful part of the beach but next time I go I will stay at the property where we went for dinner based on the way the staff treated us alone

The grounds are immaculately maintained and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen cleaner pools. Food and beverage was pretty expensive, but that’s the way it is on the entire island. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The resort is SO close to the beach. The snorkeling right outside is amazing. The new rooftop restaurant and bar is stunning. To save money we packed snacks and food for lunch and bought dinner there, the prices weren’t too too bad. About $20-30 for a burger, sandwich, pizza. Happy hour is between 5-6 at Jojos and the rooftop bar. We can’t wait to go back.

The room was fantastic with only one small issue. The closet space was very limited. That makes it difficult for two people that are staying multiple days. I would have expected more closet space for a room that costs $1000.00 a night. The staff was great food was also great. And the access to the beach was great.

Great location for snorkeling. The property was well maintained. Room was clean and spacious. Our room was on the second level just above the restaurant by the pool and, therefore, was a little noisy during the time staff was preparing and/or cleaning up at the beginning and ending of the days. Staff was helpful and friendly. It would be nice if the hotel offered free shuttle services to the grocery store and/or areas outside the resort for shopping, as taxis were a little expensive for short trips and charged per person. We booked several excursions through the hotel and had good experiences with all but one of the companies. The rooftop bar in the new building was not open and available to us during our stay. Overall, we had a nice and relaxing stay at the Windsong.

Spacious Room. Lowest level so the view wasnt perfect but you could still see the ocean. Super convenient - beach is 2 min walk from the room. Included breakfast is choose only 3 items (english muffin, yoghurt, bagel, cereal, oatmeal, fruit). All others are at cost - reasonable, but why not just include them in the breakfast?? Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely go again.
