Beautiful property and gorgeous beach. About 30min walk to all the restaurants and shops in Grace Bay. Good onsite restaurants with very kind and helpful staff. Included breakfast is meager relative to the quality and price of the resort.

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful English gardens. The renovated rooms are clean and well appointed. Bedding and comfort is excellent. The downside of this hotel is that unless you opt for what they call the Butler service, you will not get a poolside lounge chair in a good location. The pool is situated on the grounds in a way that they're not many chairs that have sun for most of the day. The butlers are out at six in the morning, reserving these chairs for the people that pay for their service as well as the \"owners\" of some units. It's easier to get a lounge chair on the beach, but it feels like the chairs are lined up like you're on a cruise ship very close to each other and not very appealing. The beach chairs have no cushions on them. The beach is not raked on any regular basis so there are piles of dried seaweed all over.
The island itself is very expensive. First time I've been to a country where the taxis charge by person instead of by car. Most rides charged between $6 and $10 a person for a ride of 5 to 6 minutes. We've been to some of the most highly rated restaurants on the island as well as some more casual places. They were all uniformly overpriced, by New York suburban standards, and offered mediocre to pretty good quality. You will be paying a lot for not exceptional food.
I cannot recommend this hotel, nor the island.

The pool is lovely, the complimentary breakfast is a nice touch and the beach is wonderful.
Some of the staff members are so friendly and welcoming while others look like you are annoying them with just asking for a water.
The rooms are so dated, bordering dirty. Not one thing about this resort is 5 stars. They are saying they will renovate the rooms next year the quality of our room was a disgrace.

Overall, we were disappointed with the experience given the price point. The property felt noticeably dated, and service throughout our stay was consistently slow and, for the most part, unenthusiastic. We travel frequently and are accustomed to high-end resorts, but for the rates being charged, there are far better options available elsewhere. This property would greatly benefit from a meaningful management and service overhaul to align the experience with the cost.

Although I enjoyed my trip, our room was very nice.
But after reading reviews on the staff & how \"friendly and hospitable\" they were I was quite disappointed. No one knew anything - it was a different story every time you asked a worker. They only people who were knowledgable were the mangers for catering and one other. The overall manager was rude and the concierge gave us wrong information which was par for the course and aggravating.

Overall, a mixed experience. The room was overall clean with two incidents- there was a splotch of blood on the headboard that wasn’t cleaned even when I asked specifically and there was a bikini sanitary liner left on the floor from a prior guest. I cleaned it myself. Yuck in both counts. The pool is spectacular as is the beach. Service is wonderful, with very friendly and happy staff. The breakfast was awful and food and drinks overall very overpriced.

Pretty property. Great beach. Convenient shuttle to sister property- which has outstanding food! Pool restaurant/bar bartenders were awful. Never acknowledged our presence anytime we walked up for food/drinks. Weslay had every customer shout food orders across the bar so he could key into computer. Front desk dropped us off at the bar for lunch while we waited for our room to be ready- most unwelcoming staff ever. The breakfast hostess is what the pool restaurant/bar needs! Warm, attentive and cheery!

A big disappointment. We expected luxury and the Palms fell far short of expectations. Rooms are dated and in need of updating. Service was consistently poor. What a beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay here. There’s a reason it’s a 5-star resort! We were able to walk to the local fish fry but everywhere else was convenient with a quick taxi ride away. The hotel has taxi’s waiting in the parking lot so it’s easy to have a car waiting at any point. We enjoyed the swim up pool bar and grabbing a beach chair was so easy! Their attendants even cover your chairs with new towels and get you floats or whatever you need. They have kayaks, long boards, floats all for their guests as needed. We even received turn down service in the room! I’ve never stayed at a place that fluffs the pillows, removes the decorative ones, they put slippers by your bed for when you get up along with a chocolate and a bottle of water. They also make sure the lamps are on and all the curtains in the room are closed. After returning for dinner, this is so nice to have! Breakfast is also included in the stay and delicious! The staff is very friendly. The restaurant by the beach is also delicious. We had the tuna wontons, the grouper wrap and the Caesar wrap and all were delicious!! I also enjoyed the spa. Book with Maureen!!! You won’t regret it - Maureen gave the best massage I’ve ever had! She truly has a gift! Overall 10/10 stay and we will be back!

The beach is very beautiful and kids friendly. I just feel the customer service could be better. I booked a two bedroom oceanfront and paid good money for this trip, however I didn’t get the 5 stars service. It would be nice to start the day at the breakfast with greeting good morning and a smile but most of the staff don’t even want to work and have attitude. Once we get to the beach and I was expecting greeting and offer help with the chairs especially I have three kids, they just stood there with their phone making believe no one is there. Once we ask for help, they said did you read the sign because you have to ask for help if you needed. Overall I believe it’s the management issue that they are not getting the training needed. For anyone that has high demand and would love excellent customer service, I would not consider this place.

We loved everything about our stay! The moment we arrived we were greeted with a yummy cucumber drink and a cool towel, the people who checked us in and gave us a tour of the property were very nice and shares all there is to do and know. We had a Jr Suite (no view of water) and it was spacious, clean and bed was super comfy. The pool is gorgeous with a swim up bar during the day and the beach area is magnificent! The guys who work the beach (especially Rico and Oats) were always helpful and accommodating, along with friendly and informative. Breakfast in the garden was good and our server, Early, was a delight. She took such good care of us and we enjoyed talking with her! Parallel 23 was delicious and the setting outside (with music the night we ate there) was elegant and cozy. Our rooms were always clean and the turn down service at night was really nice! The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful to look at! We loved it all and we will be back!

Here is a deep dive on the resort and Grace Bay. Let’s start with why you’d come. Perfect turquoise water on a pristine beach. As though some opened a faucet on white sand. The resort itself is gorgeous and filled with mature palm trees surrounding a great pool.

The service can be hit or miss though. Paula, Wesley, Neville and Ronel are amazing. But many of the bar staff were not up to the job for the prices you’re paying. We waited 30 minutes at a nearly empty swim up bar to get a drink and close a tab. After two other attempts, we literally stopped using that bar because the service was so bad. Not island time slow, actually ignored.

The restaurant service and food was fantastic. Our breakfast staff treated us like family. And our housekeeping was stellar.

As for the accommodations… We booked two junior suites for the 4 of us. One of our suites had a shared entry with another room and second secure door. The resort booked a hospitality suite for a conference in that other room. Meaning the second secure door was propped open and there was tons of foot traffic outside our room. This was just poor planning. They should have given our room to someone at the conference. Instead, our serene vacation felt like a business trip.

They have a happy hour every night. They should either cancel it or simplify it. It’s allegedly half price for “1 step drinks” like a rum and coke. So we ordered tequila soda. Not included. I ordered a beer, it was full price. Later it was corrected

Jane, Emilienne, Mark, Roodelyne, Ellisona and all the staff were fantastic. So helpful and did everything with a big smile. They all felt like family by the end of our stay. Both restaurants were delicious. The clothing shop had all my favorite brands. The convenient store was perfect for snacks and sunscreen refills. The property is gorgeous. Pool area is fantastic. This should not be considered a 5 star hotel. Our experience here was absolutely not worth the money we spent. The service was not 5 star service! I've received better service from a holiday inn. Our room was very nice and clean. The beach access was great. The pool is okay. There was pee all over the pool bathroom floor, which unfortunately ended up on my clothes so I was soiled in someone else's urine. They did not comp my dry cleaning. The fire alarm went off and I had to evacuate my room. No one was in a rush to fix it or apologize for the inconvenience. I stood outside for over 20 minutes with other guests, while I needed to be inside getting ready for a wedding. I asked for an early check in, they wouldn't accommodate. Even after I had someone else's pee on my clothes. They sent up a fruit plate but it wasn't enough. No one was happy to greet or take care of us. I ordered a frozen drink by the pool and they just let it sit there and handed it to me melted... I tried to order room service at 10:30, they closed at 11pm and told me the Chef had already left. There are no other food options near by. Nothing is walkable. We will not be going back. We had some bad luck, I'm sure it wasn't terrible for everyone but overall it was a bad experience. They had plenty of opportunity to make it better but fell short each time.

This is a magnificent property. It's absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent at the resort. There's not really much besides a little downtown area in Grace Bay (that you can walk to) for entertainment but we were happy with just hanging out at the resort and enjoying the pool, beach, food and drinks. The room was nicer than we expected too. All in all, a five star experience!

We arranged a three generation stay at the Palms, and it exceeded our expectations. There was a great many things that we liked about The Palms-the quality of the villas, the swimming pool and beach (both perfect for little children), the complimentary breakfasts, and the location. However, what was most striking was the quality of the staff. Everybody we interacted with was consistently pleasant and helpful, and patient with children. This included the people who helped set up at the beach and the pool, the guys who distributed towels, the woman who cleaned our rooms, the people at the front desk/concierge, and the restaurant staff. While everybody was lovely I want to single out Jane, who was a hostess, seated us for breakfast each morning, and made sure the smallest child was well taken care of. But that level of service was shown by everybody we interacted with, throughout our stay.

There are a couple of things to consider to make the property even more perfect. There are a lot of choices at breakfast, and it would be good if they offered plain or greek yogurt along with flavored sweetened yogurts-they had plain yogurt but we had to ask for it. Second, The Palms has a surprisingly well equipped fitness center/gym, which is well used. As a result, it's actually too small for the number of people who want to use it in the morning. Add more floor space for stretching or other workout routines.

All told, a great vacation

The Palms in an exceptional experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurants are very good. The location is probably the best sight on the Grace Bay beach. The grounds are very well maintained. The only possible way to improve this place would be a larger gym. However, it has everything you need, it’s just a bit small when several people are working out.

The pro is that the room is very nice and so spacious and clean; there’s great attention to detail too. The grounds are very pretty, but the property is just so blasé. The pool is clean but boring, the hot tub is like warm, and the ocean view room is a joke. You can barely see tiny glimpses of the ocean through palm branches.

The worst though is the attitude of the check in staff. We were at the Ritz Carlton for 5 night and chose to move hotel for our last night. Maybe it’s unfair to compare the Palms to the Ritz, but truly, they’d benefit from training in treating guests better. Honestly, for the price that the Palms is, I would chose the Ritz without question over the palms. We checked in at 9;30 AM. We were told that the room was not occupied and just needed to be cleaned. We kept checking back, and we were told it would be ready no later than 1 and hopefully before. At 12:45, when I checked at the front to see if after nearly 4 hours they had cleaned the room, I was told that they were in the process and was told in a sassy way that checkin is at 3. I responded calmly by saying, “ yes I understand that, but when you tell me that our room will be ready no later than 1, it reset our expectations. She seemed annoyed. We didn’t get into our room until after 2. Again, perhaps it’s not fair to compare the palms to the ritz, but for essentially the same price, the staff is so far superior and the quad experience is too!

Literally rolled her eyes in my face, I will be emailing the property separately. Whitney wasn’t as bad but she also really needs some customer service training. Besides that and the room issue with a broken fridge, non working lamps, and non working lock everything was great. The manager Arianna was great and upgraded us rooms after the room dilemma. EVERYONE besides the two mentioned were fantastic. So kind, upbeat, always smiling, and sooo good with my baby. Shout out to Roxy (Roxanne), Jane (red hair), Tyrese (beach attendant) and everyone else was fantastic.

Every single employee was friendly. I’ve never been to a place where the entire staff smiled throughout our stay. It is an incredibly well managed property. Everything is always in its place and all day-to-day activities are well coordinated. The resort restaurants were outstanding. The daily breakfast was outstanding (e.g., fresh squeezed OJ, omelette station). The beach is everything you dream about in the Caribbean. The pool area was inviting and calm. Off-site activities were well managed. Very upscale experience delivered in a low-key and friendly style.

The front staff (reception and main restaurant staff) were professional, courteous and efficient. The staff at breakfast were also lovely. The staff at the beach restaurants were utterly incompetent and the two male managers were rude and aggressive to both patrons and wait staff - really unpleasant. All the beach lounge chairs were lined up like sardines and there were an impossible number of screaming, ill-behaved, unsupervised children. Awful experience. And beach attendants and restaurant servers were constantly (and obviously) looking for tips - which just communicates that the resort is not adequately compensating staff. We couldn’t wait to leave.

The entire stay was perfect. We love the place but the staff make it so special. You are treated like royalty. The beach staff especially Dyuane was incredible. He was a pleasure so sweet and knowledgeable. We feel blessed to have stayed there!!!

10/10 cannot recommend this resort enough! The staff is super nice and friendly! The food was amazing! So many options for food and so many great restaurants nearby. Transportation was super easy. I loved that they came and cleaned our room twice a day. The beach is incredible. I didnt want to leave!

Beautiful property with an awesome pool and beach. The women staff at breakfast and around the pool/bar area were so friendly and amazing. The men that worked the beach hut were the complete opposite - miserable and very unfriendly. A lot of mosquitos in the rooms, would constantly hear buzzing in my ear when sleeping and wake up with tons of bug bites. Definitely the same tier as the ritz, seven stars or grace bay club.

From our experience, the best part was the staff. The staff at the Palms was super friendly and helpful! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from the front desk to the dining. Even when our rental vehicle caught a flat, the front desk took care of everything. I didn't even have to lift a finger to call the rental car company.
Room was clean. Property was immaculate. Complementary breakfast daily. And they had a couple of free water activities you could do.
Overall for us it was an A
