Suzanna is the heart and soul of the property making sure you are taken care of, have rides, rental car, things to do. Before we even arrived I had an emergency situation resulting in a reschedule. Suzanne and Winnie were able to assist so that we did not have to cancel our trip. They are angels! All staff are excellent, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was cleaned to perfection daily. The transport to the Kokomo and beach is great and really allows you to relax. There is someone at the beach to help and watch your personal items if you want to go to the restaurants or walk the beach. They have all the kitchen essentials, coffee, tea, and a handy cooler to bring drinks and snacks to the beach. Their beach location is perfect. We enjoyed the quiet location and ability to walk to Bobs bar, Land & Sea, etc. taxis were available at night to bring us back. We definitely recommend and will return!

Stayed 2/2026. Suzanna and the staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Room was clean, private and has all the amenities needed. A few suggestions for other guest; go grocery shopping your 1st night there, rent their cars (cheaper and more convenient than taxis), use their sister facility Kokomo for the pool and restaurant. This is a great secluded hideaway. I will be back before the end of 2026.

This was such a unique experience. The hotel is surrounded by trees and shrubs, and just all of the beauty of nature. It felt like we were in another world.Also, the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. They made our getting around the island so easy. Accommodations were clean uncomfortable.. I actually got some of the best sleep that I’ve ever had away from home.

If you want to go to a beach other than grace bay they have chairs, they also have coolers to take to the beach. If you are not staying on the beach this is the best choice there is. Definitely recommend! Room is also clean and well equipped.

I loved this place. The atmosphere, and the staff were amazing. Mimi was very attentive and friendly. She really set the bar for excellence!! Suzanna was also very nice upon checking us in and informative regarding the taxi service, food etc. The rooms have a lot of privacy, it’s kind of like your own apartment away from others. I will stay here again, next time I visit. That’s how rewarding this establishment was for me.

An honest review of One On Marlin Resort and Spa:
We booked this property for the great reviews and the great price. Turks and Caicos is overall very, very pricey, so we felt the price was right for what we were looking for. We knew going in the property was not on or very near the beach, and that was fine. A car is essential if you stay at One on Marlin. Just know that driving can be treacherous. The island contains exactly zero stop lights and zero Stop signs. Rather, roundabouts or traffic circles as they are sometimes known substitute for both. While not exactly a free-for-all, it can take nerves of steel to navigate around the island and the traffic, especially at peak driving times. Add to that driving is on the opposite side of the road than the U.S and many other countries and it can be a recipe for anxiety and angst. Now on to the actual property. The first thing I can say about this property is it is by no means a resort or spa. No pool, no restaurants, no actual spa to speak of, no fitness center, no activities of any kind. Literally just rooms. This property has a sister property named Kokomo just down the road a piece. The Kokomo has a restaurant and small gorgeous pool that those staying at One on Marlin can access. While the sister property is walkable (about 15 minute walk) I don’t recommend it as there are no sidewalks and the road leading is very narrow. The rooms: The rooms at One on Marlin are charming. Though small in size, it was impressively well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which had every essential amenity for a comfortable stay. Meimi, the housekeeper, was truly exceptional—her warm care, attention to detail, and dedication to our satisfaction did not go unnoticed. And Suzanna was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the town with fantastic recommendations for dining and local beaches. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay—it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Very nice and friendly staff. Shuttle to the beach and to the sister resort, Kokomo, (this is where we went for breakfast , lunch and dinner most days) is from 9am-5:30pm. Highly recommend for your stay if you are looking for a nice relaxing place, not by the beach, resort.

The rooms are nice but a bit “cozy”. That being said, this is a very reasonably priced place to stay. Not much right on the property, but the “sister” hotel 1 mile away has a nice pool and restaurant. With the money we saved (most rooms on the beach are 3x the fees of One On Marlin) we rented a car for the week and got to do some great exploring.

The property is not near the beach but they have drivers who will take you there. Would recommend renting a vehicle so you're not bound by their schedule. The staff is VERY accommodating and nice making our stay a pleasure. The property worked nicely for us and I would recommend it for those that don't need to be able to step out of their hotel right onto the sand. We liked renting a car and visiting many of the beaches on the island. Taylor beach was our favorite

This hotel option is fantastic for those traveling here on a budget yet also renting a vehicle. The service was fantastic with Suzanne in the front office as well as Meme on housekeeping. This place is quite nice, yet has minimal frills. The sister resort that you can use the pool and restaurant at is just around the corner. The birch access point on the beach is fantastic and adjacent to a high end resort that permits restaurant use (though it is spendy). A very nice grocery store is nearby and you're within 5-10 minutes of most of the great restaurants and you can get to each main ends of the island within 15 minutes as well. Parking is plentiful and the resort also offers to rent cars. Their cars are nicer than what we rented at Hertz which I wish I knew. The beds are so comfy. They have great cable tv options as well as amazon interface. The kitchenette and large fridge make having some meals at your place possible. They also provide daily beach towels. Choosing this place is likely a deliberate choice to save money compared to the oceanfront places, and honestly I am glad we did as I think the experience was just great.

This was the perfect quiet and quaint stay, which was close to everything. This hotel reminded be of an Air b n b in the sense of feeling like I had an apartment/home to myself, but with the amenities of a hotel. The property manager was very communicative and helped set up the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. You are also given a phone you can use to communicate with staff. This was by far one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at and I would definitely book again if I go back to Turks.

Su was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. The shuttle to the sister resort Kokomo as well as the shuttle to Bight Beach on Grace Bay were very convenient and both were very short drives. It was nice to have our own beach lounge chairs and umbrella every day. Housekeeping came daily and the room was always clean and the AC worked great. My wife and I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with beautiful beaches.

The Host Suszan is super nice and helpful. She arranged for us to get picked up from the airport and she also arranged for us to get back to the airport. She also drove us to her restaurant for dinner. They also had rental cars on the property so we were able to secure a rental car from the property. The property is centrally located near most beaches and restaurants but in a quiet location away from traffic.

Suzanna and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plan to rent a car or take cabs to get around the island, which is easy. The shuttle service to the beach and pool is great during the day, my only wish would be that it ran a little later into the evening. Both the beach and pool are very nice. If you are looking for something quiet and off the beaten path, this is a gem.

The bad: Other than the extremely uncomfortable bed, nothing was so atrociously wrong with the hotel, but it was enough compounding things that led to our decision to leave the hotel in the middle of our stay. The water was luke warm at best, the bed was so bad neither my wife nor I slept for 2 nights, the bath fan and the hair-dryer were broken. When we asked for a new hair-dryer they said they had none and would have to go pick one up the next day (for a wife with wet hair that was not a good option). The AC unit pumped out cold air, but the temperature control didn't really work. The room was either freezing, or hot. There is not phone in the room and they provide this littlePOS phone for you to use to reach them. This was a vacation for us away from kids and it was turning into an awful experience for us. I'd would not recommend this hotel.

I loved that is was tucked away from the usual restorts on the island. Very intimate and extremely friendly staff. Suzanna made our stay extra special. She took care of our rental, gave us tips on what to do on the island and where to go. She even drove us to the grocery store on our first day to pick up some things that we needed. One on Marlin gets an A with customer service and whenever we visit Turks and Caicos, this will be our place to stay.

Driver can take you to other resort for small pool area (kids there) or private section of beach - unfortunately a ways away from the reef areas, but again more quiet. Walking to get food is not really a safe option as highway is the link and no sidewalks. Pictures are representative of what you get - New units - very clean with all you would expect to cook - even cooler provided for beach. For our unit, the water in shower was lukewarm at best...3 nights there was not enough time to remedy - Island time thing, but staff also let slip that prior guest had same complaint... But overall relaxing few days with no major issues. Staff / Butler all very friendly and as helpful as they can - they don't control maintenance issues.
