This hotel was absolutely breath-taking. As soon as we checked in, my girlfriend and I loved our room and the amazing pool and ocean view that came with it. The pool was only a few steps away from our front patio, which was really convenient. After visiting Grace Bay beach (about a 10 min drive away), we realized that we loved how more subdued our hotel was compared to the resorts from the Grace Bay area. La Vista Azul is not as packed as other spots, which we absolutely appreciated. The bed was really comfortable, everything was clean and spotless, there were more than enough available TV channels, so all of these factors were reasons why we loved this place. The cherry on top was the fact that the closest beach was only a 10 min walk away from us -- and of course, it was a secluded beach with only a few people, too! This was my first time visiting Turks and Caicos, but I'd definitely revisit this island and stay at this hotel again. Hotel La Vista Azul -- most definitely 5/5 stars!!!

The only negative was no elevator. We had heavy luggage to carry up/down stairs. The room was very nice with lots of amenities. Staff was very helpful. It was easy to walk around & staff recommended driver for longer distances.

I didn't like the resort not being ADA compliant. There's only 1 building with an elevator the rest of the building you have to climb numerous flights of stairs.

Large clean and spacious room...amenities are on point...lots of linens available...washer and dryer in room...that'sa plus..fully loaded and functional kitchen. that's a plus...the only thing I can say that was a bit of a hassle was the stairs...eventually it became my exercise....the pool is heated...the hot tub...OMG...location is nearby restaurants...shops...cafes..lounges and beaches...I will definitely be back...

BEWARE!! AVOID !! We had a horrible incident where while I was in the my hotel room with my 1 year old daughter I had my do Not disturb sign on my door (since Sunday it is not Wednesday) I heard someone trying to open my door. I was alarmed and screamed. Mt husband ran to the door and saw an employee running down stairs. We immediately went to speak to the manager Olivia who was VERY dismissive after telling her we do not feel safe and feel like our safety and privacy was violated. She told us the employee who was at first a bellman after being questioned why was he even on our floor she stated he then helps sometimes with house keeping ? And THEN was told he was engineer ? But he did not have any property attire like the rest of the staff? We was told her was trying to slide our do not disturb sign in our door which is IMPOSSIBLE TO DUE. Manager did not acknowledge how uncomfortable we felt, didn’t give us any logical explanation as to why he would be trying to come into our room, was very rude and condescending and didn’t take this matter serious at all!!! AVOID AT ALL COST !!! There are no cameras on this property, no elevator, a bunch of stairs and a manager who is unable to manager or ensure the safety of her guest and since it is a family owned and managed place they will protect their employees at all cost. AVOIDDDDDD

This was my second time staying at this property. The first time, I booked through a private condo owner and stayed in Unit 3101, which was lovely. This time, I booked directly through the property's management company and stayed in Unit 3103. While it wasn't as hospitable as my previous experience, it was still a decent stay for the price.

Overall, the property is nicely maintained for a budget-friendly accommodation. The pool and hot tub were clean, and cleanliness throughout the property was generally good. That said, there are small improvements that could make a noticeable difference without requiring major expense. The decor feels dated, with crooked wall art that appeared water-damaged.

Speaking of water damage, the utility closet housing the water heater developed a steady leak that became progressively worse during our stay. By the last day and a half, we were regularly mopping up water and washing soaked towels. The ensuite washer and dryer were also extremely loud and detracted from the overall sense of peace and relaxation. Maintenance did respond and emptied a full bucket of water that had been placed under the leak, but the water continued seeping into the bathroom afterward.

I would stay here again if I needed a budget-friendly option. I love Turks and Caicos, and this was my third visit to an island that I truly love. However, next time I will likely look for a comparable condo or villa. You ain't gonna see Drake here but you will still get by ;)

Worse hotel to stay at. It’s more a timeshare than a hotel. No elevators to get to your room. You have to walk up 10 flights of stairs. Poor customer service. Waited 3 hours after check in for out room to be ready because the air conditioning wasn’t working. Nobody to help with your luggage so you have to carry all your luggage up 10 flights of stairs in a zig zag path. One restaurant that closes early and only have 3 options and are over priced. Staff is unprofessional. My mother has a disability with walking and has to walk up all the stairs that are like 5 stories high. They would not allow a refund for the second stay because it’s a 3rd party timeshare after I told them it was difficult for my mother to walk up all the stairs with no elevators. The voices food is a 40 minute walk, beach is not close it’s 15 minutes away from the timeshare. Save your money. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THEY WILL ROB YOU. People live in the timeshares and they are rented through a 3rd party. STAY AWAY!!!!

The hotel was beautiful and exactly what I expected. My room was clean and had everything I expected. The reviews were very accurate. Loved having a kitchen that I only used for coffee and heating leftovers. It was a plus to have a washer/dryer that I used to wash beach towels and swim suits. The place is centrally located. Not more than 5-15 min from food and beaches. The staff was very informative. I would stay there again.

The property has no elevators, therefore if there is a disabled person or a person who has difficulty walking up stairs, this hotel is not for you.
I killed 4 out of the 5 roaches I found in my room and when I told the lady at the front desk that there was a roach infestation in my room, she asked if I would like to have some spray to spray the room myself. I did not expect that answer from the staff who is supposed to make sure that I enjoy my stay at their hotel. Besides the lack of elevators and the roach issue the area was not bad. I liked the fact that there was security present at all hours. I felt safe, but disgusted by the roaches.

Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed there was no proper secondary lock or security mechanism on the door beyond the standard knob lock, which made me uncomfortable traveling alone. In addition, there were visible blood stains on the bedding upon arrival.

Guests should also be aware that the property is entirely walk-up, so it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility concerns or difficulty with stairs.

When I expressed my concerns and informed the front desk that I would be checking out due to the condition of the room, the response felt more defensive than accommodating. I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I did not feel safe staying at this property.

The property could use an upgrade. Everything feels and looks outdated. I stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and although I would’ve liked to stay on the island a bit longer, I couldn’t wait to checkout. The bed and “pillows” in my room were very uncomfortable and the air conditioner unit is quite old and makes a loud noise every few hours, so sleep was a bit challenging because of that.

The place is nice. It’s not close to walk to the beach. Bight beach is about 1 mile away. This room has no view. The view is the parking lot. No paper towels. No salt no pepper. So as soon as you arrive go to the store and buy these things. We left what we had left over in the room for the next guests. Pass it on.

The room was supposed to be decorated for my birthday and it wasn’t although the front desk concierge said that it would be. The hotel itself is more like apartments. Very quiet, sorta like a ghost town and more traditional styled than the pictures indicate. The staff were not hospitable or even friendly for that matter. Overall the hotel is fine if your on a budget but if you can afford to, find better!

Not sure how this got an 8.0 rating on hotels.com. The initial staff member, who was not warm and welcoming, did not give clear directions to my room nor did he appear to really care especially when I came back to the office to clarify. I had to assist other lost guests with direction. If you have any sort of mobility issues, beware! Had to hike 4 flights of stairs to just get to the hotel portion of the property and then had to walk all the way around the building and up another two flights to my room. There are absolutely no amenities - there's a kitchen with dishes but no dish soap, no complimentary coffee, no bikes, no beach chairs. I was appalled when I noticed a contact lens on the floor by the nightstand - I did not bring any contacts with me. Dark Hairballs were waiting for me at the front door when I got back to the room - my hair is not dark. I suspect the cleaning lady used the hand/body bar soap to clean some dishes I used which does not seem safe. The a/c did not work for the first 5 of 8 nights I stayed and when the repair people came, one of the workers asked or water and when I pointed to the sink and glasses, he said he wanted bottled water! Um. I have to pay for that myself, mister, did you not bring a lunchbox to your job??? This location is also fairly isolated. Without bikes, a taxi or car is a must be o Grace Bay where the shops, including groceries, are. The map makes it look much closer but it's not. If I return to TCI, I would not rebook this hotel.

Nice quiet property not too far from the built up Grace Bay Shopping and hotel area. Nice location across from Turtle Cove Marina. Staff was nice but was not much help when it came to advise or information on local activities or touristy type things to do. Our garden view was a view of the parking lot.

The place to stay was very clean and had all the things except for body soap, which was fine. The swimming pools are clean and are in a perfect spot for an amazing view into the ocean. The kitchen had all the items we needed for dining in and was easy to clean using a dishwasher. The building we stayed at had an elevator, which really helped us. We loved the tofu scramble and pancakes at the cafe. If you are a vegetarian, it's a must-try. I would go back anytime for that because it was that well-cooked. The staff were super sweet and helpful in answering our questions.

This is a really nice property. Clean and comfortable bed. It is not located directly on the beach but a short walk to it . The view from the terraces describe the name of the hotel - the marvelous blue ocean in the distance is quite a vista. I stayed in a queen suite which was a generous size and a large outdoor terrace to lounge in. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools on the upper levels which are immaculate and a nice size. I did not rent a car for my short stay but would have in order to explore other areas (if you are comfortable driving on left side of road) I did attend the famous Thursday night Fish fry which was basically a party with food vendors, bars, music , DJ , lots of shopping. It was lively and the MC was energetic and entertaining. Not many places to sit down at the venue but didnt bother me. There is a restaurant with bar on site and a smaller all day breakfast and gelato place. The beach is easily walkable to Grace Bay area .

This appears to be a timeshare. Exterior well kept. Interior aged and outdated. Very few people there. Limited things to do nearby. One of two units no hot water. Shower heads in both units needed to be replaced; caked with debris and water not coming out. No telling if they had ever been replaced

I never write reviews but we had a terrible experience, We arrived early before check in multiple attempts to contact property to arrange a early check in or get options prior to arrival no response We were told we were too early by a very rude unwelcoming employee, we had to inquire as to where we could put our things and very reluctantly given minimal direction to the pool area, we arrived at 11:00am and were told we would be contacted when our room was ready by 4:00pm with no call we went to the front office where another employee let us finally check in after finally getting in our room we were greeted by an awful smell of fish in the room and a refrigerator that was beyond loud after speaking to we guessed a manager we were told there were no alternatives rooms available and the following day we could change rooms or they would fix the refrigerator needless to say none of the above happened, We tried to make the best of the trip but it is definitely not a walkable vacation spot at all you definitely need a car, never received any help from management we tried to air out the room to no avail, honestly a disaster i have never experienced such terrible customer service we honestly gave up and tried to enjoy but be aware very unfriendly environment live and learn, just writing this so others won’t be duped I could go on but simply put would never stay here again buyer beware

Self free parking is available at the property. The staff is not friendly at all. We had no room service for 5 days at all. We didn't need anything so it was ok for us, but if you are a family with kids and need anything its hard, the staff is not friendly at all. The property is good, well maintained and was clean as well.

The Hotel is nice and a close walk to beach. Make sure to not get towels too dirty with beach sand or you may be charged a fee for towels. Rooms had coffee pot and hot water but it's byo coffee and tea products. Also no full length mirrors in room. Food on property available for purchase but better options a short walk up the road.

The property is not a beachfront property, but it is less than five minutes from a beach and it is within walking distance. Turtle Cove Marina is literally 3 to 5 minutes away walking.

The facility is nice and clean. The rooms and balcony are a generous size! I was impressed!

There is no elevator so I had yo walk up five flights of stairs. Not easy with luggage. The room was large and clean with big balcony. The safe in the room was on the floor with no directions how to use it so I had to keep my valuables looked up in my suitcase. Because of this I did not have the housekeepers clean my room.
The beach is quite a distance away. Not good if you have trouble walking. There is a restaurant on premises which was ok. There are 3 others about a block away which were good. The grocery store is far away so you need to take a taxi cab to get there which cost me $28.00 .
Groceries were expensive.
I took a taxi $40.00 to Grace Bay to go shopping. All the stores for your souvenirs are expensive. Nothing cheap here. I would suggest staying in Grace Bay if you wanted to be by the beach and close to restaurants and shops.
My first time here and I would never go back!

I booked 3 rooms and all was spotless with no issues. My family and I enjoyed the property and staff. Great location that was within walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. I loved the pool on the top floor, which was for adults only. It was so wonderful. Definitely will stay there again.

Beautiful resort for a great price! We arrived an extra day early and couldn’t stay at our planned resort and this was a great find for a reasonable extra night! We got a courtyard view but could still see the ocean! Beautiful roof top pools with stunning view. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing stay at this place. The price was fair and reasonable for the amount of space and amenities onsite. I stayed in a studio unit because I was a solo traveler. I had everything I needed. There were plenty of toiletries, sheets, and towels within the unit. For convenience, there was also a washer and dryer. Cleaning service was great though they come at varying times during the day. The staff were nice as well. They safely kept my stuffs after check-out since my flight was way later in the day. I liked the convenience around. There were plenty of food places (I went to at least 5-6 different ones) and the beach near-by. I budgeted to eat out. But my unit came with a kitchen which I did not use, so I couldn’t tell you if there are actually equipped with necessary utensils (did not check for any). The nearest supermarket was a little bit of a walk (at least 20 min) but 5 min drive; so I took a taxi (costed me $20… would not recommend). I would suggest to make ride arrangements prior, which I did, but the trip to the supermarket was unplanned because I had forgotten a few things at home. I went by the pools a couple of times and they were well maintained. Honestly, I would stay there again.

Didn’t get my room until 4:30 & it wasn’t properly cleaned. When I called the front desk the lady told me the cleaners had already left(don’t know how that’s possible). Then she essentially said I had to just be in a dirty room and there’s nothing she can do… she didn’t even try to help. It was disgusting

The property itself needs some attention and updating. When we arrived the shower floor looked dirty so we went and got cleaning supplies and a brush to do it ourselves since the room had just been cleaned. The jacuzzi looked as if it needed to be cleaned or retiled so never got in it. Things in the room just kept falling apart like the toilet paper holder or the towel racks to the point we just stopped putting it back together and left it on the window. The smoke alarm went off twice. Once while we were asleep at 7 am and stayed on for about 20 mins. Horrible sound and the other for about 5 mins. The bed was horrible to sleep in. The mattress kept sinking in at the headboard so we'd wake up with a stiff neck every morning. We had to put the cushions from the couch under the mattress to keep the mattress from sinking into the frame. The washing machine kept breaking after each use. They had to come reset the machine since the red button would kept blinking saying the lid was locked. The gym equipment needs some attention. Only have 2 45 plates so could use some variety and the machines looked like something from a 70s workout video. The location is about 10 mins away from everything so you definitely need to have a rental car. The grocery store is about 7 mins away and there are some good food spots close by. Go to MaMa's Island Kitchen. Jerk chicken and festival were so good. For a long stay it came in handy having kitchen and washer & dryer.

Hello. My recent stay at the Hotel La Vista Azul was fantastic. Very quiet and extremely clean throughout the whole grounds. There are 2 main accesses to the beaches, within a 5+ minute walk, to Smiths Reef for snorkeling and long walks on Grace Bay beach. There are also 4 bar and grill establishments for eating out close by. The Turtle Marina is right there as well for all your fishing, parasailing and snorkeling tours adventures.

The room was fine. Clean and large but the view was to an alley and not the "courtyard" as advertised. The nearest back is 8 minutes away. The restaurant and ice cream/ all day breakfast were five and the staff working there friendly and customer oriented. The reception staff was professional but she can't across as someone who didn't not want to be there. Perhaps my imagination. The taxi (multiple passengers to different hotels) from the airport was $20 and the hotel was a 10 minute downhill walk to the marina, convenient for me.

Do not ever eat at the restaurant in the hotel. You will get food poisoning that can kill you. They will even argue with you when they get your order wrong instead of fixing it. They will literary poison you so that you don’t get to enjoy anything on your vacation and end up spending unnecessary money treating yourself at the hospital or clinic. You’ll be laid out and stuck in your room for 4 to 5 days and come back still sick and weak. This is serious. Customer service is 1 point out of 10. The front desk or check in person will literally shout at you when you ask for directions. Extremely rude. You’ll be told that is how she is. Her mood is always like that. Will definitely not be recommending this hotel. Very bad experience indeed. They couldn’t even give me back my hospital expenses but only the refund for the food after much explanation and insistence.

Lowlights: this property lacks elevators that are much needed in certain parts of the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will to help with any needs you may have. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night so we did not go to the pool but from photos it did look nice. Checkout was easy and quick and staff help us with taxi services to our next locations. Overall would stay again.

This hotel is big and it was almost empty but they don’t let you in until last minutes ( 4 PM )!!!!, you get there 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM have to leave all your belongings in the office and wonder around in the hit weather which there is nothing close, they get your number to call if room is ready before 4:00 PM just for Show!!!

This is a nice hotel in a quiet location near Turtle Cove marina. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking distance. The beach access is 8 minutes but the beach isn't as nice as Grace Bay. Be aware that taxi rides into Grace Bay are began $20 and $25 for 2 riders. Most taxi services only accept cash. The swimming pool is nice, cold, but nice. The hotel is in the process of remodeling and reutilizing some of its office spaces. Overall, the experience was great, but if you are aiming more when it comes from a resort like beach access or amenities more than a kitchen or pool, you might need to reconsider this location. But, if you are looking for a quiet location, with a nice clean room, then this is your spot.

Do not recommend. No elevator, lack of staff, had to carry baggage myself, staff not nice. No bottle of water in the room.

This property is about 8 minutes outside from the more touristy area and uniquely centrally located. Very quiet but, also next to about 6 beaches and right across from the boat dock. The Onsight restaurant and the restaurants nearby serve excellent food.

The property was very clean and well kept. Very private, and quite daily. The staff was friendly and helpful daily on where to eat, which activities the island had to offer daily. It’s easy to get a taxi within minutes. The Wave was across and it offered a very reason home style breakfast.
Only downside was the water pressure was a slow drip. Good luck on a shampoo!

Just a note, this is not a highly accessible property. A lot of stairs, limited elevator access only on upper level. You can eat and eat, you won't gain weight staying here!
