Really nice hotel. Very close to Paradiso if you're attending a concert there. To be honest it was such a good price compared to other hotels we looked at we didnt have high hopes. Booked because of proximity to Paradiso. Needn't have worried as it really surpassed our expectations. Its on a busy main road/canal so if you are looking for somewhere quiet this may not be for you as quite noisy at night. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Good choice for breakfast too.

Im writing this review still wishing I was there! I’m so happy I chose this hotel. So chic and so cool on the inside. Love all the details! My room was plenty sufficient especially as a solo female traveler. It’s was nice to avoid the city center train station, it located right in between Rijksmuseum and entrance to Vondelpark. Great if all you aim for all the muesuems and large green spaces. The lobby bar made some excellent espresso martinis! Dined at Momo for breakfast everyday, their morning staff was always very pleasant to me. I can’t wait to make this a year visit, I’m staying here again for sure! Thank you!

We arrived late on that day and was assigned a room next to elevator. My kid has weak sleep and the front desk was able to switch us to another room that is far from the elevator the next day. Very appreciate the detailed service they provided. The location is very convenient. Will definitely come back sometime in spring to see the tulips.

The room was spotless we got a really good view of the street and it wasn’t too loud. The staff was friendly and courteous especially the morning staff that served breakfast. The breakfast was really tasty good variety between ordering and buffet style. The only gripe I had was having to pay a £300 deposit I was really annoyed by that because I wasn’t forewarned! The man kindly explained its to cover taxes and mini bar or if there any incidents but I still wasn’t happy I understand taxes and mini bar but because I paid with debit it was so high! Although my invoice on checkout states I get the money refunded excluding taxes it’s £300 I could do with. The bed also wasn’t comfy I was way to hard but that’s my own preference the linen was top quality

The room 230 we stayed in for 6 days was nice, however when we entered the room it was freezing. It took more than an entire day to heat the room properly. We were provided with portable heaters but they were noisy.

The housekeeping could be better. The cups and plates were not washed.

The hotel lobby and bar area are welcoming and beautiful. My guest room, although small, had all of the necessary features. I loved the Zenology toiletries and having a Nespresso coffee machine in my room. The location is central to all of the districts of Amsterdam, and an easy 10-20 minute walk to attractions such as Dam Square and the Anne Frank House.

Initially, there was minimal heat in my guest room which I reported on day 1 of my stay. Management offered a portable heater which I used until the problem was resolved on day 3. Also, the shower and toilet area of the Classic guest room are quite narrow. I would recommend a room with a larger bathroom for guests who need more space.

Firstly, the hotel staff were amazing. From check-in with Melle, and support from Max and Sophie. In fact, Sophie made us feel like our business mattered. The food was great with lots of choices for breakfast. We described the room as a bento box. Everything was just in the right place. Very close to visiting museums but with easy access to transportation.

Not the best of starts. First room given was very bad - heating didn't work, room was old and tatty. A complaint to the management was handled very well however with both managers dealing with the situation to the highest standard. We were given a new room (which was a lot more modern), and given complimentary breakfast for the rest of our stay. Mistakes happen, but staff fixed it.

I was surprised by the deposit/amount €300 for 3 nights. But they were super quick to return it upon check out less the city taxes.

I was told I could get a late check out the night before and to confirm the morning of to be told we couldn't have it anymore. Which was abit guttering after a heavy last night.

I would stay again though.

The room is dark and feels outdated for a 4 star hotel. The hallways were also extremely dark in the common areas. I opted out of room service for most days but on the day that I did receive service, the window was left open and the room was cold when I returned hours later.

The hotel was nice, and very kind staff. The carpet and some walls need to be updated, especially in the gym. One other issue, if I took a shower with the bathroom door opened, or opened it too soon after a shower, I would set off the fire alarm. Perhaps only my room, but it happened three times.

Lobby and bar are nice and the staff are friendly. The hallways and rooms were clean but could use some love. There were always vacuum cleaners and cleaning carts left in the hallways outside our room - they never seem to put them away. Rooms don’t have the best sound insulation, and have doorbells that a little girl staying on our floor loved to go around ringing while we were trying to sleep in. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Window was small. Room was dark and one of the light bulbs had a tendency to turn on and off on its own. We mentioned this to the staff and there was no follow up. Probably wouldn't stay again.

I assume this used to be a 4.5 star hotel, but I don’t see it that way now. The hotel hasn’t been maintained at that level in awhile (lots of worn out decor around the hotel, including in the rooms). Breakfast was more like a 3 star hotel (it was good, but not 4.5 star good). Service (at the restaurant and checkin) were okay. Overall, an average stay at a hotel that claims to do better than average. Basically I felt like I was paying for the location, which was excellent.

Had to pay a €400 euro deposit for the room as soon as arrived there which we wasn’t aware off, and then when we were leaving out of that €400 they charged us with a €250 euro fine for cleaning fees even though before we left we scrubbed the room clean

We found this hotel to be well-situated, very clean and with an exceptional staff.
We stayed for four nights in mid-November. The location is within walking distance of several of the major museums, including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. It is directly across the street from a canal tour ride and the Hard Rock Cafe. It is about a block from a tram and bus stop, including one that goes directly to Schipol.
Our room was fairly small. I do not know if they had accessible rooms, but it should be noted that the shower is in a tub with high-sided walls, which could be a problem for some. There was a fridge, a coffee maker and an electric kettle--however the outlet was not near the counter and it made more sense to use the tea kettle in the bathroom.
Our street-side room was on the first floor. Even so, it was not noisy at night. It wasn't until the last day that I noticed there was a problem with the window, causing a cold draft. When I reported it, they were very responsive.
(In the meantime, I had also requested an extra comforter and recieved that as well.)
There's a lovely drink shop around the corner from the hotel. I recommend avoiding most of other nearby restaurants and walking about a block or two north of the Hard Rock to the Leidseplein area, where there are streets filled with a wonderful variety of restaurants.

While checking in was busy but everyone waiting was offered a complimentary drink while waiting, all staff was friendly and pelite.
The standard room for 2 was really nice- clean, showers and toilets was clean but a bit on the smaller side but still managed to enjoy the rainfall shower.
All in all was a great experience and would come back again when staying in Amsterdam.

I have never left a review on a hotel or restaurant but this one will defiantly be my first. I have stayed in ~20 hotels in the last 2 years as my partner lives in the Netherlands, and I do not.

I booked a Suite at this hotel as a treat for my partner expecting it to meet at LEAST basic expectations. Unfortunately this place left a sour taste in my mouth (sour like the rotten-egg Hydrogen Sulfide gas coming out from our shower drain)

Where do I begin:
1. We were awoken at 7am to a putrid rotten-egg smell coming from the shower that was stinking up our entire room. We had to leave the room in our sleepwear for over an hour because we began to feel nauseous and ill.
We called the front desk to report it and they said they could move us to another room. 1 minute later they called back saying they would not be doing that and sending maintenance.

The only reason this place is not getting 1 star is because the issue did end up being resolved after a few hours, but boy was this the icing on the cake.

2. I arrived at ~12pm after travelling for 30 hours in the hopes we could get early check-in. Now I understand that is never guaranteed and it is a privilege, but they looked at me like I had 3 eyeballs when I walked in with my sweatpants and shirt.

I immediately got the vibes that this place likes to pretend they're fancy but in reality they're not.

Many hotels that I have stayed at do me a favour to put in a request to the maid staff that I'd like to check in early if possible,
