Staff support is lacking. The room description was not correct. I waited an hour to discuss that the room.had no mini fridge , coffee maker and microwave.
I had to insist that i booked a room.with these listed items.
Finally after showing the listing of the hotel 3 times to the manager he moved me to a superior room next to a Night Club.
He said it was closed and very quiet.
At 10pm i lived in hell until 4am

The next day i asked to move rooms and i needed a fridge. The manager refused.


The area is not clean. The Hotel only deserves 2 stars

Terrible place, luckily I only need one night before I went to my fancy hotel . This place is filthy , 2 sets of stairs to get to it, no elevator. The downstairs is business . The second level next to the rooms is a karaoke bar with a 30 yard space between the rooms. The music is so loud until 2:00 am snd then the music stops but the crow is there until 3:00 am or do. Also next to it is two more dancing clubs with music so loud in each corner. The stuff is friendly but the place horrible, you get what you pay for

Loved this place and will go back for sure.

When we first got to Ixtapa we were welcomed and happy that Jose could speak perfect English. Rickie the bell boy was very sweet and the place was cleaned everyday by the sweet ladies who work so hard climbing those stairs daily. The location was top and the pool was fantastic. The only thing was Senior Frogs was loud. The stairs were a bit of a haul but other than that we would stay again.

On Main Drag.

On main drag, next to many restaurants-marketplace. Clean, very safe. You have to go through large hotels in front to access the beach. Located on 2nd story, a real problem if you have to drag your luggage up the stairs- bellhop took care of that. Domino's pizza next door, great hamburger joint behind hotel . OK pool on top story. Here is the best part, two bars behind the hotel who played until three in the morning- if you are a light sleeper pass on this local. Inexpensive alternative compared to the high rise beach front hotels located across street.

pleasant stay!

Our daughter's family was staying across the street, but we could not get a reservation at the same hotel, so location was excellent. The room was very clean every day. We enjoyed being in the middle of restaurants and shopping area. The pool was also kept very clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and most accommodating.

Stayed for one night. Manager demanded a paper printout of the hotels.com reservation. Good thing I had one. Wifi coverage was very spotty. Old fashioned hotel key is given on a cord that can be worn around the neck - clever. Room is very warm at first because air conditioner is a window unit that is off by default. But cools readily. Not too luxurious but quite serviceable hotel. No major complaints.

El hotel está en una zona de bares por lo que en la noche es difícil poder dormir. Las áreas comunes del hotel están muy muy descuidadas, especialmente la alberca que está terrible y no hay ni donde sentarse. Las camas están muy viejas por lo que también urge cambiarlas.

El personal muy amable pero, no tiene estacionamiento propio, tienes que dejar tu auto aun costado en el estacionamiento de la plaza, tampoco te dicen que estas al lado de bares y si quieres descansar no es lo ideal. El ventilador del cuarto muy sucio, el baño tenía 2 focos de los cuales solo servía 1 y muy poquita luz.

Excelente servicio, los únicos detalles, el cuarto es muy pequeño, la tele también y no hay elevador ni siquiera para las maletas, son muchas escaleras, mucho ruido pero es por la ubicación que es excelente súper céntrico. Por el precio me parece más que justo.

The hotel is located on the beach of Playa la Ropa, There are numerous restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shopping venues nearby. The airport is about 25 minutes away.

This is the only hotel that has been able to get guests to keep coming back every year over the last 40 years. It is a charming small hotel surrounded by lush tropical gardens on a hill overlooking the magnificent Playa la Ropa, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico.

This beach hotel consists of a total of 45 accommodation units, including suites and studios. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception.
