The staff are always great. Love the morning omelets.
The decorative fountain in the garden has been non functional for 2 seasons now. We miss it. The floor of the balconies on 4 th catch dirt and rainwater. Hard to clean, but still, it should be done. Try a wet dry shop vac.
Overall, it’s a lovely place and we hope to return.

Breakfast was the highlight until the 2nd day when the staff was more casual and overheard 'f' bombs.Never had an answered call every time I tried to reach them from my cell or room. TV did nothing but buffer and couldn't enjoy a movie at night. No help with bags. Very steeps stairs to our room and had I known I'd not book it. Left a day early bc totally disappointed with hotel and staff. No maid until day we left. Pool was 3.5: deep and was filthy.

Very clean and well appointed room on fourth floor, tasteful decor and very quiet.
Water pressure very weak, plus tv continued to buffer every minute. The breakfast buffet greatly exceeded my expectations.

We took our 3-year old grandson for the second year in a row.
Easy beach access down two lovely blocks where he rode his bike.
The pool is safe and fun; great breakfasts, children’s books in the sitting room, drinks at the bar at night.
Very comfortable hotel.
Highly recommend.

Arrived to our room which smelled very musty. The has carpet and an in wall air conditioning unit. The bathroom floor and shower was covered in hairs I’m assuming from the previous guest. I am not sure if housekeeping forgot to clean the bathroom between guests. I spoke to the front desk in person at 9am requesting for our room to be appropriately cleaned and she stated she would “send someone right up”. We went to the beach for the day and came back to our room 3PM to an untouched room, still filthy. We called the front desk and also text the hotel chat that asked how our stay was going. Someone finally came up to clean the room between 4-6PM. (The hotel text did not respond until the next morning).
Besides the unpleasant room experience the family pool was cloudy and my 14yo did not even want to go in it nor do I blame her.
The breakfast experience was also not up to par since our previous stay in 2019.
Overall the hotel has definitely changed since we last stayed and I would never come back here again.

Many distractions due to lack of attention to detail make this very nice, well located property less than it could be. Those items range from excessive waits at the front desk due to missing staff, malfunctioning tv, not stocking in room coffee machines, service delays at breakfast and many inexperienced staff overall. There is more.

On the plus side, the Bellmoore has more than a few excellent staff members that made our stay much, much better. I wish this was a better review.

Hotel was gorgeous!! The patio/ gardens with koi pond was serene and a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon drink with fresh baked cookies. The two pools were very small and the hot tub was enclosed and we couldn’t stop coughing from the strong chlorine smell. Not recommend using the hot tub. Breakfast was very delicious. Over all, we loved our long weekend at the Bellmoor Inn and will definitely return.

If you’re looking for high end accommodations in Rehoboth Beach, The Bellmore Inn and Spa is the place to stay. The buffet breakfast is excellent so there’s no need to make reservations elsewhere so you can enjoy shopping or go to the beach. They offer excellent cocktails as well. This was our 2nd stay at The Bellmore Inn, and the only disappointment was the woman at the reception desk not gracefully helping us with our late check-in. I would highly recommend giving her a crash course in hospitality!

As a 25 year patron of The Bellmoor, I'm sad to say that our spring stay was our last. Under new ownership, what was once a wonderful holiday is now sub-par. We gave it two stays, by the way. One was worse than the other. Just awful. I guess all good things must come to an end.

It’s a lovely Hotel/Inn, with amenities like a hotel but a more personal feel with the various sitting area indoors and outside in the garden. Every staff member was helpful, kind and very friendly. There are free cookies and iced tea or lemonade at 3:00 daily. The bar was very small and quiet with an odd choice of retro MTV music on continuously. Breakfast is exceptional! Our room off the garden was small, dated and dark. Our upstairs neighbors were very heavy footed so we awoke to that every morning. The location is perfect for walking everywhere with onsite parking (15$ a day) which was super convenient. There is a resort fee and other “fees” each day tacked on to the bill. We loved being close to the boardwalk and beach as well as shopping.

Nicest hotel in Rehoboth within walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. Best atmosphere too with outdoor courtyard to enjoy quiet breakfast daily with made to order omelettes that are delish. Breakfast included unless you get specialty coffee drinks which are extra. Didn't try spa but heard from other guests it's amazing. And if you don't feel like walking 5 blocks to beach they've got free shuttle to/from beach til 430pm. Jim the driver is friendly, knows the area and is great! Clean, upscale rooms with bathrobes - nicest in area much better than Hotel Rehoboth and staff much better too! This is our new go to spot when we visit Rehoboth from now on!

Our family really enjoyed our time at the Bellmore; it was better than we expected. The staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. We loved how things were thought of from the beginning, and nice touches to make for a pleasant stay. We LOVED the made-to-order hot cooked breakfast; it was the hotel's best feature. We didn't use all of the amenities -- like the pool or spa-- due to other plans, but appreciated that they were there, clean, and available. The location is ideal, they have plenty of parking, and offer a golf cart shuttle if needed.
The room was spacious, clean, and there was adequate space for our family.

I have two small complaints which I found irritating for a hotel with all the property fees.

1. There are small signs everywhere to make tipping easier if you just scan this code. If I have to pay the fees let the property compensate their employees fairly so I don't have to be nickeled and dimed to tip them.

2. The bathrooms do not have vent fans. So, after a shower it can get pretty moist in the room.

Staffer's were courteous, respectful, and extremely friendly. Breakfast was second to none and hospitality was superb. House keeping was excellent with daily cleaning and garbage disposal. Although, my wife and I don't drink alcohol, the bar tenders were very friendly. The front lobby/waiting area and the reading room with the fireplace was absolutely stunning. The Coffered Ceiling gave the lobby an elegant and charming appearance. The room we stayed in had all the amenities possible with high quality furniture and with a taste of impressionist art. The Bellmoor Hotel has high standards and excellence through Quality. I recommend this Hotel to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.

Let me start by saying the staff was amazing. I have no complaints there

Our room size was what we expected given it was a bed and breakfast feel. However the coffeemaker in the room took up the whole counter so there was no place to put toiletries.

Both pool areas and hot tub area were a little dirty with the courtyard book being unsuitable for swimming because of all the bugs.

To end on a good note, the garden area was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and the proximity to everything was great!

Stayed in a first floor garden king room in the old section of the hotel. You can hear the guest above you walking around and moving things, did not hear talking. The room was clean. The air conditioner/heater when running had an odor. If you opened the windows there was not privacy because it faced the garden sitting area. The hotel does have a free buffet breakfast. There are nice seating areas on the first floor and the outside garden area is nice.

I wanted to reach out and share what an exceptional stay I had at your property.

The breakfast was great, and I particularly enjoyed the herbed potatoes. The massage I received from Heather was amazing and truly the best I have ever had. I also appreciated the property's location; it feels very private and safe while remaining close to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants. Additionally, the fireplaces within the library and bar area are unique touches that you don’t often see.

The staff was fine. Breakfast, although listed as one of the best, was pretty much the same except for a change between pancakes and French toast.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Temps were in room controlled so that was helpful. The spa was closed on Wednesday so we never got to use it. Hot tub, we didn't all bring suits so didn't use. We asked more than once for a fire outside snd it never happened.. that was a big disappointment. All in all, I would return.

It's a nice hotel with great service and very close to beach. Jim was at the reception when we checked in and was very helpful. Staff over all was very friendly. However, I have couple of call outs, 1) there is only one elevator 2) A staff member (female and wore glasses) at the breakfast wasn't paying attention to cleanliness. Example: She dropped tongs (used for bagels and toast) on the floor and just picked it up and put it back with the food, She did not clean it or even make an attempt to wipe it with a napkin. Otherwise, the hotel is very cozy and gives a good vibe.

We wanted to rest and relax in the jacuzzi but found there was floating mud and someone's hair we told the front desk manager that there was hair floating in the water. He promised to sort it out and said that the hair would be removed. When we came to the jacuzzi after a couple of hours and climbed into it we saw the same dirt and the same hair floating in the water, which I think is unacceptable, in addition the jacuzzi has sticky tape parts that looks not attractive and unsafe to use. Also the room we rented had cracks and the place looks old and in need of repair in my opinion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bellmoor in the Aspen VIP room and would happily return in the future. The hotel exudes a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, complemented by thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks for guests. The food was excellent, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout our visit.

However, there are a few areas that could benefit from attention. The carpet in our room was noticeably stained, and the armrest of the chair appeared dirty and dingy. Addressing these issues with cleaning or replacement would greatly enhance the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room.

Overall, our experience was positive, and we look forward to returning.

Complimentary breakfast great. Staff cordial and helpful totally. Spa services and nearby health club access was superb. The condition of the property at least the actual garden room where I stayed could use some updating. There was a bit of an stagnant smell and the walls could use some spackling or something. The toilet seat should just be replaced as it was pretty badly scratched up possibly from harsh cleaning stuff. I always bring my own sanitizing wipes and it was way cleaner to say the least when I wiped it down. I was least impressed with the cleanliness as there was hair on the floor and some towels. I would still come back for the spa and location. Would try a different room though.

I loved this hotel! We stayed in a garden room which was small, but in the lobby were 2 big cozy rooms with fireplaces and comfortable seating. And plenty of tables and chairs in the dining area for playing games.
It was right next to the main drag in Rehoboth, and even though it was off season, there were restaurants and shops open. The boardwalk was just blocks away too.
I would definitely return, and do it again in the off season. No crowds!

Our room was very clean but small. Our view on the first floor garden room looked out on the peaceful koi pond. We had drinks in front of the fireplace in the library. Breakfast was outstanding. Met so many nice staff members and visitors who were repeat customers. Will definetely return
