Staff was very accommodating. I ordered room service from the restaurant attach the hotel and it was really good and came relatively quick. The hotel is on 57th St. between sixth and seventh, which is a really good walkable location. You can walk to many restaurants, shops, and the theater district.

Rooms are clean, great location, doormen are super friendly, but that is where it ends. Concierge seemed like we were bothering them. We weren’t even asking them to make reservations but where to grab something around the hotel while we were waiting on our room. “Oh there’s lots of places”….. staff at front desk were not helpful with questions. I had a couple of early work calls that came up that I was hoping to do outside of our suite so my wife and daughter could sleep. Asked about using a meeting room that I knew was empty and they told me that I would have to do it from my room. There are lots of other properties near here that we will choose from next time.

Staying at Le Meridien Central Park was perfect. I came in to town to enjoy Manhattan over a weekend and everything was great. Staff super friendly- from front desk, concierge, to room service and doorman service. I stood in one of the (4) rooms with a Terrace and let me tell you- it was the best with a wonderful view both morning and night. It made my Birthday celebratory weekend one to remember. The restaurant Paris Bar Brasserie was also super convenient with great service and food. Hotel is super convenient with a short 5 minute to walk to Central Park, Bergdorfs literally down the street with Carnegie hall at the corner. What was also great, is I had tickets to the NY Ballet and again, only a 5-7 minute cab ride to Lincoln Center on a Saturday night. It was awesome. I will stay here again. Thanks Le Meridien.

When we first arrived in our room the bed wasn’t made and the room was dirty. Staff seemed overwhelmed. Room was very musty and didn’t seem clean. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Room was neglected. Leaking pipes. Housekeeping left their cleaning supplies in room. Air vent wasn’t working. Changed my bill when I was already home from my trip. Staff were unavailable and unfriendly. Someone killed themselves by the hotel and was never addressed by the hotel. Had random people knock at my door and couldn’t see through the peephole. Very scary.

I am a very needy guest, calling the desk for more pillows and blankets and such and not once did they sound annoyed and they practically fulfilled my request before I was done asking for it. This is the perfect hotel, employees and perfect location on billionaires row. Grocery stores and drug store just a 30 second walk. Pizza, Italian., Mediterranean right across the street. Açai bowl just around the corner and the Russian Tea Room just a 2 min walk. THIS is the place to stay.

Great location for a Christmas New York experience with my daughters. A few issues, we had two rooms and both had heating issues. Mine had no heat several times and needed maintenance 3 times. Other room too hot. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. They helped us all they could. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Went to both restaurants at this location and would recommend them both.

at check in, the use of the room key to activate the elevator wasn't explained(I had not experienced that type of system.) The staff was very courteous & very helpful with the few questions I had, even helping with transportation to airport at check-out. The room was serviced nicely each day. Paris Bar & Le Jardin Rooftop restaurants were accommodating w/o reservations. Both were pleasant, well kept, well staffed & the fare was well portioned, timely served & delicious. Overall, I would definitely book another stay if I return to New York City!

The property was nice overall and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was mostly comfortable although the mattress a bit soft and sagging.
While we didn’t dine in either of the restaurants inside the hotel, we did enjoy the rooftop bar and especially the service there from our excellent bartender, Raymundo.
We also appreciated the in-room amenities including a working iron, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and USB-A ports in the bedside lamps.

I had stayed at the Parker Meridian many times and thought that is where I booked my reservation. The picture shown is of the former hotel and deceptive. When told at checkin there was a $40 a day Mandatory charge, but it could be used in the the restaurant or bar was insulting. You are telling guests they must spend $40 a day and if not they will be billed anyway. I discussed it with the person unduly and it was not charged. I believe this is illegal and will check with an attorney. The room was very small and with the bed low and practically on the floor difficult to get into or out of. I will not return.

The check in person was eager to help and was nice enough. The room is almost laughably small and I’m not a fan of sinks outside of the bathroom (in the bedroom). Bedsheets had a stain on them but they were apologetic and quick to rectify. The rooms were poorly designed in that the AC vent hits directly and unrelentingly on the bed so it’s uncomfortable if you do not want a draft ON you. Room service process was weird and food was well below average. Checkout desk attendant was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Hotel was under staffed generally. Overall, it’s a safe, clean, decent stay and the price is good for the area. I will not be back

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. The staff was exceedingly nice. What I didn't like is the configuration of the shower, which is difficult to access. You have to get in the shower before you can turn on the water, because of the strange glass partition that's not movable. I also would have liked to have had a comfortable chair to sit in while I was reading. The only chair in the room was a stiff back desk chair.

Great overnight spot in Manhattan.

The hotel was perfectly situated and very convenient location. Top notch staff the room was well appointed even though it was small there was a place for everything. Bathroom was newly updated. Big window made the room bright with blackout shades perfect for the morning no complaints. I was able to check in a little bit earlier due to an impending snowstorm, which I really appreciate it. I will definitely be back.

I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member. Marriott should be embarrassed by this facility. The room has broken wood furniture from the 1950. For the price due to the provoking to Central Park I would recommend staying a a more modern facility with functional elevators and taking an uber. Marriott shame on you

Very good location. However…My room was in the -09 stack if you’re given a room in this stack it will be very dark. dark dated furnishings and decor. Extremely poor lighting, exposed extension cords, no slippers or robe as itemized on website, unable to close the pocket door for the bathroom, no mention of the main restaurant being closed, leaving only the bar and it’s limited menu for dining.only one drawer available and had to use the small desktop and the two shelves above to place my packed belongings. Very inconvenient for a 7 night stay.cheap plastic soap dish and waste can in bathroom. Did not look forward to returning to my room each evening. Despite good location the mediocrity of the property did not justify the price.

I think the property needs a little refresh or a consideration of how to utilize spaces; especially in the lobby. In all fairness the restaurant, that was at ground level, was under renovation so let’s be fair. It is a little expensive for what you get, but I’m assuming if I had a Central Park view it would be worth it. But I would definitely plan out months in advance, so I get a better price for what I’m getting.

We were a party of four and booked a single room with two double beds. Unfortunately, the room was exceedingly small for four people, and the air conditioning was problematic. The staff, however, were extremely accommodating and moved us to individual rooms with king size beds. The majority of the rooms are a king size bed format, and in my opinion, the only way to go when staying at this hotel. The Hotel rooftop bar was recently renovated and a great place to enjoy breakfast or evening cocktails. The downstairs restaurant is under renovations and should open soon. We would definitely stay here again, but ensure you have a room with a king size bed.

Housekeeping was very helpful and always showed up to clean even after we told them to come back later. The room service they offer is fairly delicious and open pretty late. Overall great customer service and they don't charge extra to hold your bags if you have a late flight back home.

The room we were given was tiny, the phone looked and felt dirty, the facility was sub-par, the front desk was not helpful in any way, the roof top bar had furniture that was torn and cracked on the arms and they felt dirty.
We could not stay in the room and did not continue our stay. We left. We need a refund immediately.

The shower had completely empty shampoo/conditioner/soap bottles that were mounted to the wall. Getting in a shower and then realizing there is no soap/shampoo is a huge annoyance. I would expect that to be part of basic housekeeping. Several flies were in the room/halls at all times.

Overall, the stay was fine but we were disappointed because this is not the same building the hotel used to be in. It has moved to a smaller boutique hotel building just next door from the original. The room was smaller than what we have stayed in, in the past in the original building, the lobby was very small compared to the grand entrances of the previous building and burger joint is obviously no longer in the lobby (it has moved to where Norma’s used to be).

The hotel is OK at best! Super tiny room. Room service trays left out 24hours in the hallways. There wasn’t a time we went in the hotel someone was at the front desk screaming about accommodations. Very ghetto. Decore is nice. You don’t get much of anything with your stay. So if you are looking for BANG for your buck this is NOT the place for you.

I googled Parker Meriden and this hotel came up. Le Méridien is nothing like Parker Méridien. It was very disappointing. But the staff particularly VJ made up for it. He was wonderful. The hotel is in terrible condition and right next to very loud construction.

They said we had a $40 room credit but did not take it off of our restaurant charge, even though I charged it to our room. That was kind of silly and a bit of a let down. The hotel was clean and quiet and had comfortable beds. The restaurant had a lovely breakfast (pricey when they don’t apply your room credit).
Location is prefect for park and high end shopping and museums.
