This was our second stay at The Warwick. Very generously sized rooms for NYC, unbeatable location for our long weekend since it's close to Broadway, Central Park, 5th Ave shops and walkable to Penn/Moynihan Station. Staff super friendly and helpful with bags, taxis and food recs, and charmed my travel-weary teens! Only would have liked Smart TV options to pick a movie for our one night in but found a Hunger Games marathon :). Would choose this hotel again!

Warwick hotel was outstanding. Beds were super comfy. There was zero noise. Everything was spotless and the staff well, honestly, what a refreshing treat to have superb customer service. Perfect location ! My family and I enjoyed every moment and hope to be back again.

I checked in late in the evening. The room I was given must have been the last available - its only window faced a dark corner of the building with scaffolding completely covering the only room window. The \"view\" was of a brick wall with bird droppings all over it. The next day I requested to be moved to another room because I was staying a total of 6 nights. The front desk said none were available and that I would have to pay an upgrade charge of $50/night to be moved to a better room. Very disappointing that the type of room I had originally paid for, and that was advertised by The Warwick as a standard king room, was not offered.

We use to stay at The Warwick every time we came to NYC. This will probably be our last time to stay there. Although it is a wonderful location, the hotel itself seems to be declining. On this trip, they were doing major work outside our windows. We had an interior room with two windows that were both covered with scaffolding. Everyday at 9am the \"banging and hammering\" started and did not end until 4pm. And, yes, we did ask to be moved but were told that the hotel was sold out. I feel like this should have been stated somewhere when booking this hotel, and I certainly feel like they need to make concessions while this is going on. This room was just as expensive as nearby hotels, and they charged a $30 daily use fee which definitely should be waived or reduced while this work is being done. I could not open my curtains for 4 days while I was there because I wasn't sure if someone was going to be standing outside my window. Also, the mattress in our room was so \"worn\" that I had trouble sleeping. We had a king size bed but the sides had divers where it was just plain worn down. Randolf's is open for drinks, but the restaurant next door is gone.
I am saddened by this all because I used to absolutely love this hotel. Hope this helps!

The Warwick is an excellent option for a midtown stay at a reasonable price. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was well equipped and comfortable. My only suggestion is that the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter. I can’t say it’s a five star experience because I had an inside room with only a view of the other side of the building, but it’s a very solid four star experience.

This is a lovely older hotel in excellent condition. The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable. The location was excellent—we were able to walk to museums, shows, and a concert. Bus and subway stops were also convenient. We will stay at the Warwick again.

This is a delightful hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming, and there's a friendly atmosphere among the guests as well - people say hi and chat in the elevator. The rooms are very large by NY standards, and well-appointed. At some point, the physical plant will need to be addressed. The AC sounds like an aircraft carrier in full throttle, and the bathroom fixtures are so loose it feels they're going to come off in your hand. But we absolutely love the location, the people, and the very ample, comfortable rooms.

On a postive note, the location was ideal for the area. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit dated and the rooms and bathrooms are dated and not very comfortable. I've stayed at older hotels, but they kept the interior and rooms updated. With our room at the Warwick, the mattress was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathrooms need updating and some safety features, the toilet and vanity are low, not much room to put things on and the bathtub/shower was very slippery yet had no grab bar. We went to Randolphs bar (inside hotel) one night, drinks were very watered down. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again for all of these reasons.

I was having breakfast in restaurant and it was closing. Could not take my plate upstairs. Had to put my food into a plastic container.
Stopped at bar after concert. Last call at 10:15. Could not finish my drink.
No Keurig machine in room.
In general, I was not happy with hotel. Would take a lot for me to stay there again.

On arrival I was told the suite I booked was unavailable and I was reassigned to a regular room with one bed and a sofa bed. Apparently a water leak had to be taken care of. Luckily they stood by their word and I was given the booked suite for the rest of my stay. It was an inconvenience for one night but the rest of our stay was great. It’s in a prime location with lots of things to do, a few blocks from Central Park and 5th Ave flagship stores. We loved it!

1st time visit to NYC with the family. The room was quite spacious, the staff was very friendly and polite, and the location in mid-town was perfect!
The hotel also had an old-time classy feel. Frank Sinatra was playing in the background.
Beautiful place! I can't recommend it enough.

Air conditioning wasn’t cold so the room was very warm, but besides that we had a great trip. Everything was clean, the room was spacious , the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were kind and welcoming. It would have been nice to get a room with a view, but didn’t affect the trip. Room was clean. Bathroom space ridiculously small without even a shelf to put toiletries. Dangerous Metal shower door with sharp edges. Safe deposit did not work. Talked to staff about all these issues, however did not help.

We stayed at the Warwick Hotel in NYC for 8 nights, and unfortunately, this was not the experience we were hoping for.

While the location is great, the room itself left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the mirrors and desk were visibly dirty—we ended up cleaning them ourselves. Throughout our stay, housekeeping was minimal at best. The beds were made, but the room was never properly cleaned.

One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of towels. Almost every day, we were left without enough towels for the three of us and had to call the front desk. On about 6 out of our 8 nights, we had to request towels, and it often took close to an hour for them to be delivered.

We chose not to complain or switch rooms once we had settled in, but in hindsight, we probably should have.

Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially for the price and reputation. Sadly, we would not choose to stay here again.

The Warwick is a very good hotel, well run, decent sized rooms and a helpful staff. The New York hotel room price has gotten crazy in the last several years and the Warwick has a fair rate compared to lessar properties that have been charging more due to strong demand. I usually do not stay in midtown but the Warwick delivers a good value.

The first room we got smelled like mold and mildew, the bathroom ceiling had visible water damage. We asked for a different room. The next room was better but there was still a musty mildew smell.
The pillows are extremely hard made out of foam. I called housekeeping and was told that they only have a few feather pillows and that they are with other guests and to call the next day. I called the next 2 days and was told the same thing each day. 2 of the days they only put 2 towels and no bath mat in our bathroom even though we had 3 people staying in our room. The staff were nice and tried to help, but overall this hotel fell short and I was unimpressed and wouldn’t choose it for our next trip to NYC. I’ve also never had a hotel charge to store luggage while waiting for a room, but this hotel charges you for each bag you want to store.

Fantastic staff. So helpful and welcoming and brightened my stay. From the valet to the front desk to the amazing bar staff. I also loved the room, very spacious and comfortable bed. I was sad the restaurant was closed beyond breakfast but - its NYC, it was fine, I had plenty other options. The hotel itself is gorgeous and felt quintessentially NYC. I will be staying here again!

Didn't use the gym... The Warwick is in a great location, one block from the MOMA and a few blocks from Central Park. We walked through the park to the Metropolitan in ~30 minutes. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

The only shortcoming was a somewhat noisy ventilation system.

Staying over NYE is a particularly busy time in NYC. We stayed 7 lovely nights in a two room corner suite, which was perfect for our family of 4. The hotel was at capacity. Regardless , rooms were clean and in good condition. We had a glitch at check-in: though they confirmed that we were 4 people, there was only one kind bed. They said they don’t have any more roll-aways. But they located some and fixed everything before bedtime. The doormen was alway cheerful and helpful. The location is very central; close to a number of subway lines going all directions. Overall we enjoyed the Warwick an would recommend it for a family stay in NYC. Note that this hotel is just a hotel: no shop, no restaurants, or food service. The housekeeping was generous. We made good use of the coffee machine and kettle!
