I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay in Canmore. The staff is incredibly helpful and everything the hotel has to offer is truly appreciated. Well worth our time. Pool is amazing and heated. Rooms are clean. Service gets done efficiently. They had complimentary bikes during our stay and it was perfect to explore around!! 10/10. Going to tell my parents to vacation here next

The perfect get away. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and super conveniently located. Lots of beautiful pathways surrounding it. Parking was easy. The staff went out of their way to get me upgraded rooms (small cost, but still so appreciated), and when I extended I believe the rate was discounted as it was less than what I saw online. I had to move rooms but they were so kind and let me checkout late from one and early into the next. Felt really well cared for. It is exactly the calm and relaxing get away I needed.

The customer service here was horrible, and for no reason. I had booked a non refundable rate, my fault, and had a real need to change it. The hotel was completely unwilling to help me with a change, with credit for future stay, with negotiating with Expedia, or with trying to resell the room when it is clear they could have sold it for more than I booked for.
They took the easy way out and instead of providing a credit and having such an appreciative customer for years to come, they have taken our money this one time and will never hear from us again.
I also spoke to two different people about this and both were more rude than the other. Not sure why they have chosen this poor approach to service but I'm sure it will cost them rather than help them in the long run. I'd suggest other options.

If you are looking for a peaceful stay you may want to avoid being in a room facing the pool and or near the pool as it can be noisy.
If you are on the second floor and the room above is occupied it can be a bit louder. Maybe ask to be booked in a room on the third floor away from the pool.

Please address the elevators not having “Up” or “ Down” indicators. This is so confusing for everyone. (Shouldn’t be confusing…) Please note construction is taking place near by and may hear stapler tools, backhoes, lifts going up and down.

The property is situated very close to the shops, restaurants and trails. Very convenient and it’s a new hotel. We had supper at Stirling and ordered their specials. Theres was a live musician playing, what a lovely dinner. Parking is also not complicated. We will be back for sure.

The hvac in the room only has one outer and it is pointed at the bed. Have stuffy recycled air blown in my face had my sinuses stuffed and my throat on fire.
The shower is awkward, it is super slippery. There is a mat in the bathroom for the shower. However the drain is right in the middle so you can only place the mat off center, which means you are now close to the wall. Terrible design on the shower and hvac.
