We booked our stay here for our 32nd wedding anniversary, looking to get away from our farm and relax together for a few days and take in the beautiful views of Canmore. The room was very nice, it was clean, and as pictured but our view out of our windows on the second floor was of the back alley and side of the adjacent building not at all what was shown online which seems to have been taken from the next property to the north which is the hospital parking lot. One of the underground parking lots were out of service so outdoor parking was tight but available. EVERY morning for 4 nights stay at 3-4am a garbage truck backed slowly down the one way alley with the back up alarm singing proudly, bins slamming and banging for 15 minutes - not ideal. We were told after we had booked online that we could not access the pool, hot tub, or gym amenities during our stay, but we watched others staying in the same building using the amenities in the structure next to us across the alley- not sure what that was about. I think I'll try something different and call the hotel or resort directly and specifically ask if the representation is completely accurate before booking.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and this is the first time we didn’t have as good of a time. The room was nice however the king bed was so uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced - the mattress felt like it was caving in and both of our backs hurt each morning. We were travelling with a baby and the coffee table was glass and low and so he’d climb on it so we had to move it. The TV in the main room didn’t work properly so we swapped it out with the one from the bedroom. The pans in the kitchen were very old or just used a lot and should be replaced as it was difficult to cook on them.
The good parts were the pool/hot tub was nice but the showers at the pool didn’t work on third day we were there.

It's a condo style property, not a hotel. Would be great for families bc it's roomy, but property could use some updates. Pillows were lumpy, and obviously years and years old. Towels were worn and rough. My bath towel had a light stain. Front desk was only open till 11pm. You need (different) codes for every door- kind of a hassle. It's a place to stay if you're on a budget with more than 2 people. Otherwise, go to a nicer hotel.

The apartment was well stocked, they kept supplies for washer dryer and dishwasher. The utensils were very clean. The location is amazing, you can see the mountains in the backdrop and all around. The parking is fully secured with closed doors and gate code. And all the attractions of Banff are less than an hour and half away at the most. All-in-all, I would recommend this property to anyone in a heart beat. The front desk people are very courteous and very friendly.

By the end of our stay, we realized they are staff who live up there. You’d think they would be more aware of how loudly they stomp around with guests below, but nope. It was not a restful stay. Sunset Resorts was perfect for our needs. The suite was spacious and very well equipped. We had 10 family members in 3 rooms but were able to easily gather together. The staff were very helpful, the underground parking was good. We easily walked into town and found restaurants and enjoyed the atmosphere. We would definitely book at Sunset Resorts again.

We had a great stay! Unfortunately, our time at the property was limited due to our busy hiking schedule, but it was a nice place to come back to in the evening, and our two-bedroom accommodations were spacious, with plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. The hot tub was a nice way to end our day however the beds were very uncomfortable in our room and left us wanting more hot tub time! We had some housekeeping complaints as well, but nothing that would prevent me from staying there again.

The staff at the front desk are phenomenal and friendly. Pool is close and clean. Local restaurants offer discounts and we had several enjoyable meals. We actually stayed here twice as we changed travel plans to avoid jasper since the wildfires. Room we had the first time was smaller, one bedroom and cozy. The room we had the second time had two bedrooms and beautiful.

The property itself was very nice. Finding the property was difficult. The office is hidden, there is no convenient parking to enter the office. Parking itself was unlike anything we had ever experienced. There were numerous codes for the underground garage, elevator, room entrance. It was very confusing. I would not recommend this location.

We booked two nights at Sunset Resorts Canmore. The room was very nice with a view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable and clean, but the frames had terrible creaks in them. The office staff was very nice and very helpful. They also partnered with several local restaurants to received a 10% discount. It was a little tricky getting to Sunset Resorts due to road construction, but was certainly manageable once we knew the correct route. Enjoyed our visit!

The room was little outdated and still had Christmas decorations out which we thought was odd for August. Of note the fireplace didn't work, the sink in the bathroom drained slowly and the towel were rough.

First of all we got there around noon the lady at the front desk was rude and we were the only customer there we asked if our room was ready she said no and we asked her questions and she kept telling us that she will explain it later, she was just rude that's all, we travel a lot and wherever we get early we get a nice welcome and if the room is not ready they will asked us if we wanted to stay and wait for our room to be ready or use the amenities or put our lagguage in the locker if they have one. But anyways we left and did our excursion and we came back finally a different lady working in the front desk she's very nice and more professional even though she had a line in front of us. The place is awesome everything in our room was detailed and brand new, and the locations perfect! We will definitely coming back and stay here.

Had access to a pool, but the hot tub wasn't operational at the time. We had a jacuzzi in the room so that wasn't an issue. Fill time on the tub was quite fast as well. Room layout was a bit weird, but nothing challenging. The room was HOT. Set to 30 when we walked in. Turned it down and opened small windows. Note said A/C wont turn on if less than 12C outside and use fans. Room stayed at 25C. Front desk was no help on this.
The games room for the building was better than expected and we were disappointed that we didn't' check it out sooner. I wasn't a fan of the staff using it as a lunch room. Staff brought their lunch in and plopped down on the couches. As I was on the far edge of the room, I had to squeeze behind one of the couches to get by so I could exit.
All staff were polite and the front desk was very helpful. Shout out to Joy at the front desk for such a bubbly and welcoming attitude. We even signed out a movie and board games (free) and returned upon checking out.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom standard condo, which was very spacious and had every amenity you'd need for a stay including in-suite laundry facilities. The only complaint we had was the paper thin walls & ceilings, and the lack of blackout curtains (the sun rises very early!). Would recommend and would stay again!

Apartment was nice, neighbors did laundry all day until 11 pm and then started again at 6 am the next day so all we heard all day and night was the spin cycle shaking our condo. Woke me up at 6 am. Came here to get away and relax and that didn’t happen, just annoying noise!

2/3 of the water park was not operating and the washing machine had so much mold in it that it wasnt safe to use, as soon as we opened up the door the entire apartment smelled like mold. We tried to clean it up to get rid the smell but thankfully the none of the thermostats worked and we were able to sleep with all the windows and doors open to outside and the apartment temperature never fell below 26c would not recommend
