Some of the construction worker residents are noisy and inconsiderate at late hours of the night. The room didn't have a phone, no clock, no bible. The bathroom sink faucet was installed wrong and had poor pressure and was stopped up. The bathroom tub was stopped up. I had to request a room change.

The room was neglected. It was disgusting. There was stains on the sheets and stains on the mattress. Like the bed's been peed in multiple times. The ceiling was chipping and falling apart. There was no light in the bathroom. There was no TV. There was no refrigerator. There was no microwave. There was no coffee maker. It might as well have been a crack house.

The staff are very disorganized and unhelpful. I called the front desk to confirm our reservation the day of check-in, but when we arrived I was told my reservation did not exist. The hotel was also not clean, the hallways smelled and there were bad chips in the paint. We had to book a last minute room in another hotel, but the quality inn charged us a no show fee despite being the reason we weren’t allowed in to begin with. This was late at night and we were very lucky a nearby hotel had rooms available. This could’ve been a very dangerous situation. Everytime I call to get an explanation from the general manager they tell me he’ll be in tomorrow.

After we book this room I was told there was a $100 deposit which was not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. I was told I could cancel but I would lose the money already spent for the room. Not very happy about this situation.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful - it seemed like waiting on us was a burden.

I would not stay at this facility again.

If you want to wake up like an icicle

Parking lot feels safe. Hotel room terrible. Heat didn’t work, it was blowing cold air all night. Both of us woke up with sore throat, slept in my jacket and 2 pants. Mind you it’s 45 degrees outside. Curtains are all ripped off, both bathroom and room and cold air is blowing non-stop in the bathroom also, so you can’t even take a hot shower because the cold air is blasting on you. My room had not been cleaned except for changing the bedding but im pretty sure there were bed bugs because i had sores on my arms and legs after I lay in it. I called and went down to the front desk to ask them to clean the room and was told they would send someone but I had to ask three more times before anyone would come and even after there was still a dried blood booger on the shower wall food splash on the wall beside the bed, hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor, ants on the desk/table, and the carpet felt sticky. Also the mirror in the bathroom slid sideways of its hinge and i even let the maintenence guy in on my way to work, but when I came back it was still down. When I went to check out there was a half crushed still living water bug/roach at the desk and staff just walked past it like it was nothing. The arch over the front door was disintegrating. I understand it was a cheaper hotel but the one next door was so much cleaner so why couldnt they be?

My daughter and her mother had a reservation for two nights that I reserved for them. They only stayed a single night and they checked out early due to the conditions of the location. I was notified the room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. She also felt unsafe with the amount of people that were loitering around the area. I attempted to get a refund for the one night that they did not send there but was declined.

Wasn't expecting much, but I was still underwhelmed. Hotel lobby constantly smelled like curry and marijuana. Suspicious woman sitting in a beat up car in the parking lot for hours on end. Unattended children/teens roaming the halls. The halls of the hotel aren't air conditioned, by the way, so be prepared for 80+ degree walks from your room to the breakfast area or your car. Breakfast was underwhelming as well. Bagels were stale, sausage patties were greasy as hell, and the waffle mix ran out. Don't even get me started on the coffee... Housekeeping came maybe twice during a five day stay; Once on the second day (bed was made and bathroom cleaned). They came again on the second to last day after having to previously ask the front desk for new towels and wash cloths, and took the used towels away and replaced them (bed wasn't made, which I honestly don't care about, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned/reset either. Again, don't really care about that, but fresh towels and wash cloths on a consistent basis is kind of the bare minimum one would expect). Definitely won't be staying here again.

It was suitable for what we needed, an overnight stay while traveling. Breakfast was the most disappointing part. Stale breads, very salty eggs, few drink options (coffee and juice from a half gallon carton). We towed a trailer and there was sufficient open parking to stay within the lot. The other option offered was street parking. Quiet street, but not what we would have wanted. Not likely to revisit this location, in spite of the reasonable price.

The phone in the room was a facade , no phone wire, literally was there as a prop in room #310.

Outside at back of the. Log the parking lot had a large group of kids drinking, sitting on their car hoods, yelling . This went on for hours from 8:30 pm until Midnight. Since I did not have a working phone I got dressed (4) different and went to the lobby to complain. .
I ended up calling the police about the group out back of the bldg. it was by then approx 11:46’pm.

Bad experience!

Upon arrival the person at the front desk told me he was going to charge me an extra $50.00 for incidentals. I told him I was only there to sleep and would not be using incidentals. When I went to my room I looked in the refrigerator to see if there were items \"incidentals\" he was referring to and it was empty. I asked if the coffee in the room was free and he said yes (there was no creamers, sugars or spoons even if I wanted a cup. When I questioned him again what incidentals he is referring to, he said, if I damaged the room. That's crazy, I'm a 69-year-old woman who would never do something like that. I was there for three nights. Not once did house keeper come to pick up used towels and provide new ones. I had to go back down to the front desk to get them. The front desk person said he would send someone but that never happened. In the dining area the machine that provides water was broken. When asked they told me that they had ice only. The pillows smelled like greasy hair. My last night I saw small pebbles in my bed sheets. I realized I had walked around the room and from the dirty floor I was putting dirt in my sheets. What happened to the days when you can go to a hotel and have a clean room!

When traveling we generally stay at Quality Inns. This particular Inn was a little undesirable. The toilet wouldn't flush without us using the plunger, which is not our job. The shower was a walk-in and was difficult to get the shower head situated so the water wouldn't spill out on the floor, very hard to use. Had we been truly handicapped it would have been impossible to use. We had to ask for wash cloths and hand towels. When checking out the girl at the desk would not give us a receipt because she said it was not on our credit card but it clearly was, we got billed for it. We may consider using a different hotel chain in the future.. The breakfast was good, the only positive thing about our stay there

Convenient location. Room was comfortable and clean with all the standard facilities. Area felt safe/secure. Service could be improved.

Breakfast was hugely disappointing. The juice/water machine was out of order, replaced by a jug of juice that needed to be filled up by staff. This limited the options for grabbing a drink in the morning. It also wasn't clear how you were supposed to fill kettle for items such as instant porridge with the drinks machine being out of order. Guests are only permitted to take one refrigerated item for breakfast i.e. a yoghurt however during our stay many were past their use by date (3-4 days over) indicating that staff have not checked the items prior to breakfast being 'opened'.

Staff at front desk in morning were slow to respond and not very helpful in answering basic questions.

I expected more from a Quality Inn.

Having said that, the location is good and there is an nice Mexican restaurant opposite.

The hotel told me that they over booked at 7:00 PM and did not have a room. They ssent me to another hotel they owned which was a Best Western assured me that it was an upgrade and that they would meet the price we booked at. He never contacted the people at Best western. .Best Western told me that they could not match the price that they did not have a code to bill me at. I agreed at that point to pay the modest difference and moved on. The Room had a stained couch curtain for the closet TV did not work coffee maker had no coffee or condiments.

The breakfast had no juices only water came out no coffee a coffee pot on counter with cloudy and stone cold coffee full of sediment food was empty and no one seemed to be serving the breakfast bar. Other guest complained to the front desk who apparently did nothing to solve the problem . She just walked to back room and turned around and walked back to the front desk.
At 1 AM there was a commotion outside in hall that involved several people very loud sounded like downtown bar room at closing. The halls were trashed in morning . just not a good experience.

My room was not clean at all….signs of rust on the vents, a very stale smell and the bed had strings of hair on it….Im bald so clearly it wasn’t from me. As you could imagine I was skeptical about sleeping on the bed. Worst nights sleep ever! As I was checking out desk clerk was arguing with a guest who I’m guessing lives there….Not a great location.

We checked in went to look at the room. When we got to the room & looked around it had not been cleaned. First, the entrance was an outside entrance (motel style)- which I don’t believe was mentioned when booking. There were dried spills on counters, & in the bottom of fridge. Tub was stained & looked nasty, and it looked like there was mold on the ceiling. I felt nasty and disgusting. I went back to the front desk and asked for a different room, something I have never done before. Was told we were not the first ones to ask that night. Got a new room. Went up to the room & it was better, but still felt kinda nasty.
Here are the pros & cons of the second room;

Pros:
-The bed was awesome, my back was happy
-Good pillows
-Clean sheets
-Staff was nice
-Ice water available in the lobby
-Breakfast was OK
-2nd & 3rd floor is hotel style entrance (from inside)

Cons:
-Dated decor and fixtures
-Not clean
-Towel rack broke
-Showerhead broke, was spouting water into the wall and the ceiling
-Brown handprint on the wall in the bathroom
-Boogers & Snotty handprint on the wall next to bed
-Curtains were stained
-Breakfast bar was not stocked in a timely manner
-Very dim lighting & the lights flicker
-The lock on the stairwell is broke, so anyone can enter through the stairwell
-Issues with key cards not working
-1st floor has motel style rooms (enter from the outside)

The room was nonrefundable, we would have left and found a different hotel to stay at if it wasn’t for that.

Staff was wonderful and check in was easy, however the room wasnt the best. The fridge wasnt cold, the microwave is stuck on 30 minutes and you cant clear it. The phone randomly started talking, which really creeped us out. The smoke detector is missing, and there is a small hole in the wall, like someone had kicked it and they didnt fix it. The room itself is clean and comfortable, and I like that the hotel is right across the street from mcdonalds and chick fil a, which made getting food easy.

The available room was given to a walk in.
I was there at 9:35 pm and they didn’t care that they didn’t keep my paid up / confirmed room.

It was a busy weekend in Charlotte so many hotels sold out. This one apparently wasn't as I made an online reservation and had a confirmation number. Upon arrival I was informed the place was sold out. The Manager was running around trying to find empty rooms for those of us who were showing up with valid reservations.

First of all I would like to say the staff were very kind and I had no issues with them. However I paid for a non smoking double bed room that looked fairly nice but when I checked in I got put into a one bed smoking room and I had my 7 year old child with me, it was late and I was told that was the only room available so we had to choice but to stay. I switched rooms the next day and was put into the correct type of room but the room was not that great. The beds were uncomfortable, it looked like the headboard was ripped off the wall and there were not full sized pillows on the bed, just two small square ones. When I woke up the next morning I had a ton of bug bites on me. Sad to say I will not be staying here again.

This property is almost impossible to find after dark. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack with no lighted signage. The AC was broken, the toilet seat was broken, bugs were in the bathroom, a barking dog lived nextdoor, and a booze party was going on in the backdoor area outside. The night desk clerk did come to find a breaker switch on the AC to shut it off so there was no AC and no heat and it was 54 degrees outside. I will never stay in this location again.

Our room was great . The hotel overall was not well maintained .the floor in the lobby near the elevator was visibly dirty , we couldn’t enter into the pool area without help, my kiddos were so excited to go swimming but my oldest child was the only one who swam because the water was way too cold for my two little ones.
