Upon check in, no electricity/no power.I asked when will the power be back on, I was expecting some kind of backup generator to turn on the power, but the Hotel attendant said there is no expected time of when the power would return. I was not offered a refund or any accommodations and I was expected to just wait until the power comes back on. The hotel is not suitable for any one to stay under these conditions and its clear the hotel barely cares to help the customers. They just want money. Also door codes to the room were announced aloud to the lobby and guests, Nothing about the exchange of door access codes felt secure.

The room was a bed and a folding chair, with only one electrical outlet. The bathroom had an empty socket where a bulb should go. The neighborhood was full of trash, and the room was above a bar that played very loud music. I am surprised that this is allowed to operate as a room for rent.

Somebody put trash and dirty the terrace and the manager texted us blaming on us. It was very sad because we are very clean and respectful people
I told her, we (I and my kids) never went to the terrace and to look the cameras because I saw a man staying there. I did not like her shouting on me and sending me videos about the trash on whatsapp.
I don't know if we are going there anymore as I don't feel comfortable anymore to go there.

Yikes! We left immediately. 3:20 pm lady who is NOT bi lingual greeted me with a beer in hand, this place is over a loud bar, walked up about 35 steep stairs, both of us in our 60's no help offered with suitcases, diarrhea splash in toilet, hair and lint in shower, VERY heavy smell of smoke in room, ashtray full of cigs just outside in hallway, fridge not cleaned, only sheets on bed, Christmas decorations on outside entry door and on wall inside we were there 31 Jan, 2 cars which hadn't moved in a long time one had a bullet hole in windshield on drivers side other had human puke on back bumper, no wi fi told having issues someone coming Monday see previous reviews someone else said same thing, no airport shuttle, lady would not give refund was very rude and insisted room was clean but would not go upstairs and look at the room, there is no ocean anywhere near this place, it is an unsafe neighborhood, there is a lot of dumped garabage around this place and across the street ALOT, when we called an uber the first one didn't pick us up it turned around when it got within a minute of the location. I have requested a full refund I took lots of pictures to prove everything.

There was no office. We were greeted on the street and told how to get to our room. The room was on the second floor with a 25 step climb and no one to help with the luggage. No elevator. A gentleman from the bar on the first floor helped us. The room was clean and the beds were fine. There was no remote to turn on the AC. Another person staying there had one and was able to turn our AC on. There is no restaurant only a bar and grocery store on the first floor. Music played in the bar all day until 11 PM and could be heard and felt in the room. The room was inexpensive and a place to stay until we left on a cruise the next day, but I would not recommend staying there, especially if you are older or have problems with steps. This was not what I expected when booking with Hotels.com and should be looked into.

I am extremely disappointed that Expedia allows this property to be advertised as a hotel. This accommodation is not even close to a one-star standard, and the listing is completely misleading.
From check-in to check-out, the internet did not work at all. When this was raised, the woman in charge was rude, dismissive, and unconcerned, stating it would be “fixed on Monday” — which was irrelevant since my stay was only for the weekend (two nights).
This property is not a hotel and should not be described as one. The guesthouse is outdated and poorly maintained. There was no iron available in the room to prepare clothing, the showers were clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival, and although a mini refrigerator was present and plugged in, it did not work.
This was by far the worst experience I have had booking through Expedia. Properties like this need to be properly vetted before being advertised on a trusted platform. Allowing false advertising only leads to frustration and disappointment when guests arrive and are forced to deal with these issues.

The terrace next to my room was a plus and again the place isn’t amazing but it’s does its job. Convenient to all locations in San Juan. I enjoyed it. No complaints here

I do not recommend this place , the area is horrible there is no parking at all. The environment is not pleasing to the eye . They’re definitely a bar business below the hotel . It did not give a very trusting environment. I ended not staying because there was no parking around the area. And the saddest part there was NO refund policy . So with this being said I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

No screens on the windows I killed over 50 mosquitos the shower drain was clogged so shower it was a horrible experience not to mention a hooker opened the door for us and the lady tried to charge me even though I already paid this place should NEVERRRR BE ON EXPEDIA. Quite a bit of the pictures shown aren't actually from the hotel itself but other areas. There is no front desk and you will have to call for them to open a locked building, that isn't in as great of a shape as the pictures show. ROOMS AREN'T CLEANED IN BETWEEN GUESTS!!!!! The walls are filthy, the bathroom/toliet was filthy, there was dirty/food/bugs under the mini fridge/beds, inside the fidge was dirty etc. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean sheets/blankets for the room and our own toliet paper. There also is no working wifi, we were given a password that was too short to on any of the nearby services (they didnt even tell us which one it was). The building is extremely dirty and sketchy PLEASE DO NOT BOOK!!! its cheap for a reason!!

There was no room available. I waited an hour to see if they would resolve the issue. The woman in charge kept calling the owner, but he never answered. She said that the Hotels.com app hadn't sent her the information.

I had to find another hotel and pay more. So I demand a refund since it wasn't my fault. I sent a message through the app, but I haven't received a response yet.

This property was priced low budget. The area would appear rough if one doesn't travel to certain areas.It wasn't 5 star but it wasn't terrible. A place to lay your head safely for a few days. Carmen was nice. Give them some time to get back to you.

When we show up there was nobody to tell us where the check in was then they pointed to a convenience store. Went into the convenience store. Asked about information and they disregarded me until the counter person was off her phone. Then she told me that the lady in charge named Carmen was not there and that she would give her a text. Waited for about 20 minutes for a reply then whoever was at the counter remember in the convenience store went ahead and let me know the keypad number for the door that opens to go upstairs to the rooms and the pin code to my room in front of everyone in the store and other people surrounding it... They did not show us our room. All she said was go around the corner for entry.... I was thinking it was a solo room, no there were multiple so I have to go back down into the convenience store and asked what was my room number? They told me my room number and pin one more time in front of everyone..... I did not feel safe... I didn't think that was very professional... I booked another hotel the same night...

The place we stayed at Hospedaje Primavera did NOT look like the pictures that were described online. To begin with, we were unable to confirm booking with a call 48 hours in advance as stated in booking. Then when we arrived, Carmen, the manager, stated the owner never picks up the phone, we should have called her. She gave us her personal number.

When we arrive to our room, it is small and dingy. It looked NOTHING like in the pictures advertised. There was no dresser for us to put our personal belongs in, so we had to leave our clothing and hygiene products in the suitcase. It was very inconvenient to keep going to the suitcase to change clothing and get hygiene products daily.

There was NO mention of loud music playing every day in the evening. Least to say the noises of cars and motorcycles revinng their engines while we are trying to sleep.

Finally, I must say Carmen would return my call the following morning in regards to us not being able to connect to the tv. Unfortunately, she was never able to fix the issue in the morning when we were there. Carmen would tell us to call her in the afternoon when we were done running our errands.

The advertisement of this place is false advertisement, deceitful, misleading and purposely with held information off Expedia.

This should not even be a place on Expedia the experience was insane the pictures are a lie the area is full of addicts and drunks we got there at 4 everything was locked up there’s no front desk you have to go to the front bar to get to speak to someone everyone was drunk was told to get in we have to speak Spanish and pay her $20 or buy a beer when we found a translator she told the room code to everyone that was outside but still did not unlock the door so my money was wasted we spent 8 hours on the street until we found another place to stay nothing is real about this listing worse experience of my life I cried and cried until the translator Richard was kind enough to help us navigate somthing else even he said it would be unsafe for us there Expedia or the room did not call me back , replace my money or offer any care to the situation

The area is a bit rough but perfect for an overnight stay. A quick shower, day light and off to the next town. I’m under the impression the bar downstairs is bringing in the revenue for the hostel. It was very sketchy to walk into a bar and ask for room keys. The lady was pleasant enough but it definitely threw me off. The room was large with 2 full size beds and a modern bathroom. I would stay again in an emergency.

This is not a place for picky people. The hotel is located in a ghetto area. The check in is done in a bodega on the first floor of the building and depending on the day, it might be difficult to get a hold of the person in charge. There are some very steep steps to go up to the hotel room area. The room however is pretty ok, the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, but it was not bad overall. It is a cheap hotel and thats exactly what u get. But given its location, 7 minute drive to the coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot. I'd say that it's a great stay if youre just looking for a place to stay close to the convention center or coliseum.

I’m Puerto Rican and I came to visit some family, the place was so unsafe, there was no office that I can go to check in, number to call, I had to ask the person at the bar/store for information about the room, she called the owner and the owner was very unprofessional the information to my room wasn’t discreet at all the person in charge was very unorganized the bathroom in the room was dirty, parking area was not safe, over all I ended up not even staying there and the money was not refundable zero stars

The room was clean. Towels were nice. Sheets were ok. Extra sheet was very soft. Hand/bath soaps were appreciated. AC was good (although hot upon arrival.). Check-in was confusing and neighbor had to help even though we called called/contacted our arrival ahead of time. Check-in would’ve been quick and easy if host had simply texted the codes to us ahead of time.

Hotels.com booked me a Hotel Primavara. It smelled like raw sewage, didn’t have a bathroom door, had bugs and spiders in the room, had a broken sink and shower that wouldn’t turn off, and was 95 degrees in the room at night with a broken AC unit and since I refused to stay for my second night, instead of refunding me, they offered me $25 that I can only use on their site. My flight got in late, there was no one to contact to get in. I was genuinely concerned for my safety.

Dont expect 5 star (Marriotte) quality service. Its an economy hotel meant for people who want a cheaper stay in. you MUST known the spanish language to speak to the people at the store downstairs. A lady will guide you to your room. The stairs in the entrance smells kinda funny. Other then that, you will have a decent stay in.

Not at all like the pictures

I called and left messages four times but never got a call back so I just showed up. It took about half an hour for the woman to come and let me in. She told me I had to pay a $20 cleaning fee in cash. The site I booked through doesn't allow that kind of thing but I needed a room.

My first room had a broken toilet. My second room only had hot water, the cold didn't work. Neither room I had looked anything like the pictures online and I reserved a queen bed but both had full size.

It also had only one electrical outlet for the entire room. That meant I couldn't use the TV, refrigerator and charge my phone at the same time. I ended up unplugging the TV because the Wi-Fi didn't work and so the TV didn't work. There was also no trash can in the room so I tried leaving trash outside my door but no one never came to pick it up. The place was just in generally bad repair.

It is above a shop that plays very loud music at night and the street itself is not in the nicest area, very noisy

They falsely advertised fake amenities. They were not near the ocean. There was constant noisy music until 12:30 am . We were only provided with one bath towel each for three days, no wash cloth no soap nothing was in walking distance. Very unsafe and unpleasant environment. This was one of the worst stays ever taken. We went the first night and no one was there and so we had to walk in the streets and find a new hotel. We went back and no one even said sorry the second night. The place seemed like a brothel and women came in and out all night of the halls. There was no soap, hot water, hand towels. They blasted music at their store they owned into the morning. They never came in and cleaned. The gate had been damaged so that people could place a rock and anyone enter. This place will help put Expedia out of business. I doubt Expedia will refund first night.

WORST STAY EVER - BEWARE

If you plan to take the chance and book here, GET THE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE. You’re going to need it.

I booked a week. Stayed one sleepless night. Displaced person at entry door. Front door opens into a steep stairwell Locked wrought iron door. No one around. No office. NO ONE ANSWERS OR RETURNS CALLS REGARDING CHECK IN. Walked around to the corner store to the building and ask the woman at the register if she knew anything about the “hotel.” She asked if I was needing to check in. She then gets some info from me, makes a call, and asks that I wait over by some chairs a moment. It’s very loud - a half tienda/half neighborhood billiards bar. She calls me back and tells me someone will show me in and hands me a piece of paper with my room number and code to punch in on the stairwell and room keypads. It’s a man that’s there at the bar. He walks me up the stairwell, he tells me what the code is (same as on paper). He walks me to my room door, tells me THAT number BY HEART, and lets me in. There is no keyless deadbolt or swing lock. The room looked clean, but when sink started leaking down the base, it was filthy. Toilet: filthy. Room floor: filthy. There was NO hot water Thurs. and they said Monday would be first day to even look at it. The windows do not shut. No WiFi. DIY everything. Water filled up in the shower. Thumping vibrations and loud yelling from market below until 1am. Guy who let me in said owner “might” refund, but even hotels.com could not reach them via phone.

La propiedad en muy mala condición, la puerta del baño rota. Las cortinas blancas de la ventana muy sucias. La pintura de la pared de toda la habitación deteriorada. El baño sin luz ni agua caliente. Imposible dormir con el canto de un gallo a las 5 am y un perro grande estremeciendo el edificio con los ladridos toda la noche. This place is a absolutely disgusting. Once we arrived we immediately noticed roaches. When we lifted the bed sheets, roaches we scramming everywhere. The bed was infested with bed bugs. Never Again

This place is roach infested, no hot water so showers were brutal. TV was just sitting in the room not mounted or plugged up. The bed was like a brick, the pillows were paper thin. There is no elevator, and every morning at 5am roosters are right outside making noise, which is crazy because this place is in the middle of the city. Around 7 or 8 am, the locals are up drinking, laughing, and making noise. This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed and it shouldn’t be listed. This is a hotel, this is basically a hostel.

Deben eliminar la palabra Hotel del nombre. No tuvimos una buena experiencia. La seguridad de las puertas no existe, no hay agua caliente los cuartos sucios y con olor a cigarrillo, el baño no tenía puerta, la cama bien incomoda (es un matre fino sobre un cemento), fue como dormir en el suelo, no habían sabanas buenas para arroparse y todo muy sucio. En conclusión fue una mala experiencia.

Clean, basic hotel room in a more residential area. Some noise from the colmado downstairs, but not late at night. No frills, but working A/C, good price and helpful location (not far from a tren urbano station). My biggest issue was with arriving quite late at night, and the room not being available

This hotel was extremely disappointing! We stayed one night. No comforter or blanket provided, just a small sheet with two flat pillows. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It’s a cement base with a hard mattress on top. My back and neck still hurt from the one night. Limited number of accessible plugs for devices. Staff is not present on the property. It was such a rough stay the one night that we had to rent a second hotel to stay at for the remainder of our trip. Truly disappointed.
