The poolside area was so inviting and it was very clean. the AC in our room and everywhere was very comfortable. The people at the front desk were so warm and welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. I love the rooftop; the hammock and the Buddha!

I have sent 2 reviews with no response yet. Expedia rates this hotel at 9.4 but our room #103 was a total disappointment. The room is squeezed in around the elevator . The room is small, a double bed right up against the AC fan. The bathroom smelled. The one wall not even finished and cement wall.. no attempt to decorate . The refrigerator leaked water . The curtail had a spot ripped . The only bright spot .. the desk staff were very helpful and restaurants well close by . So very disappointed, not worth the price I paid. I would appreciate some comments back as this is my 3rd review provided . Ken Bolton… how do you make this up to us ??

The place is urban so it’s noisy. The pool really is more of a plunge pool in size. We didn’t use it. One suggestion is to put more hooks in the rooms. We had a bunch of beachwear to dry.

We had a good stay. The bed is comfortable. It would be good if there was somewhere ( drawers) to be put your belongings in. The hotel is close to Walgreens and several restaurants.

The room was clean and the staff was fine. I liked that they had a bit of parking because some of the other places we looked at didn't. Also, there are a few restaurants just down the block. There was also a Walgreens & McDonalds a few blocks away. It was just a few blocks from the beach, so we walked there every day.

We spent one night at the Dream Inn and it was perfect. We asked to drop off our bags before check in and they were responsive and accommodating. We also found parking directly out front and it was so convenient. Our room was clean, and we enjoyed the eclectic space in the lobby and on the rooftop. The indoor an outdoor vibes were excellent. We highly recommend!

Friendly staff. A chilled, relaxed vibe inside. A bit like Fort Knox which I guess is because it's unmanned overnight. I liked the interior, with exposed concrete. Good location close to beach and some shops and restaurants. Short taxi ride from airport. Old San Juan probably too far to walk unless you have the time to do it. The bathroom had no extractor fan and a window that seemed not to open, so remained humid and damp and towels slow to dry. Also some road noise. But would still stay again.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Not only is the building a brutalist masterpiece, the rooms are perfectly designed, the staff are helpful and friendly without being obsequious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. As well as that, the area it sits in has fantastic restaurants (in particular Tastado for breakfast and Berlingeri for lunch) and is a short walk to the beautiful beach.

I stayed here for one night. I had to do a self-service check-in since I arrived after 11 PM. The hotel is in a good neighborhood, close to the Ocean Park beach. The room had a comforable bed and solid bathroom with strong shower pressure. I do not recommend getting a room along the street. It's noisy at night and in the morning. There is no breakfast, but there are a few restaurants and bakery close (Kasalta and Lela's).

This time, when we walked in, the room smelled very odd. The AC is six inches from the bed, and the options are for it to blow odd-smelling air directly on you all night or turn it off and sweat. Further, there is black mold in the bathroom. I would not advise anyone to stay here, as we got a terrible night's sleep, and I had an awful cough for two days. It felt, looked, and smelled very unhealthy.
We checked in after 11pm, and there was no staff on site. If there had been, I would have refused the room. When I brought the conditions to staff's attention, they apologized and offered 50% off my next stay. I kindly requested that this be applied to this past stay, and they let me know they were only unable to do so because it was billed through a third party.
When Hotels.com called them, they claimed I had never raised an issue with the room and they had no idea what I was talking about regarding the mold. Mind you, I have all of the above in writing, as the entire exchange took place via email.
I travel a lot -- I stayed in six hotels in March alone. Running a hotel is difficult, and I appreciate that. This is the first time in all my months and years of travel I've ever felt unsafe enough to ask for my money back.

I grew to enjoy the ambiance of the quaint hotel. It is intimate and very Zen ( perfect since it was just my spouse and I) However the photos are misleading the balcony isn't a true balcony and it faces the street so if You stand there people walking can see and hear you. Cleanliness could've been way better since its small. Humidiity is understandable but paper products shouldn't smell like mold when they are being used to wipe intimate areas.

The staff was great! They explained everything to us and let us check out 30 min after our time due to our flight departing late. They also provided stuff to take to the beach which was nice.

If you like to watch netflix at night bring your roku stick or computer or whatever set uo you have cause they only have direct tv and the tv’s aren’t intelligent. It’s walking distance from the beach and has lots of restaurants nearby.

Great staff. Our flight was delayed and they sent detailed intrstructions for a late check-in. They put our room key in a lock box, sent us the code, and when we showed up, we were able to go straight to our room-which are modern and nice. The pool is great too.

So sorry but traffic noise outside of my unit was super loud. I realize that the hotel cannot control what's happening outside, but the rooms facing the main street are just in an unfortunate location. I really like the facility and perhaps would consider a room in a different part of the building. DS
