First, let me say the location of this property, for the price, is very appealing. It's a block away from the water, and available rooms have an unobstructed view of the North Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is also a quick taxi ride to Old San Juan.
We booked the largest room on the property. The front desk told us it's actually larger than the penthouse suite. It has a kitchen, dining area, living room, large bathroom with a vanity separate from the toilet/walk-in shower. It's clean, the bed is comfy, but everything is very basic. Again, for the price, fine.
This is an older building, circa 1965. Hilton bought it and added it to its Tapestry collection. The inside is completely, well, remodeled. By that, I mean the work was definitely not done by pros. The blackout and sheer curtains are in the wrong order. The Ikea-like cabinetry wasn't assembled correctly, so doors and drawers don't close. The stem of the vanity faucet is loose. The light above the vanity mirror isn't level. There are several examples of poorly executed drywall features. The shower fixtures don't cover up the holes in the tiles. The heavy barn door in the bathroom looks like it's about to lose one or both of its wheels. The glass shower door is missing seal strips, so unless you want to flood the toilet area, you have to turn the showerhead to one side and use only 1/4 of the allotted shower space. The room did spring a leak. That's a good story, but I'm out of characters for this post.

The location and amenities were perfect. A short drive from the airport or to Old San Juan, surrounded by great restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. The resort fee provided access to bicycles that were convenient to use and a dedicated space on the beach with chairs and an umbrella. Fantastic stay!

Some nerve calling this a resort and charging a $49.50 resort fee. Pool? No, a hot tub and not so hot tub. Never enough towels. Hot water came and went in the shower. The noise from the street was unbearable. Ate breakfast downstairs twice; between me and my husband they managed to get 5 dishes incorrect, an for a totally ridiculous price. The housekeepers were sweet, which is why I refrained from saying terrible, but understaffed. We came back to our room at 6 pm and it wasn't cleaned. we had to scout dry towels and bottled water. Never again!

The $50 daily “resort” fee was totally unexpected. NOT included in Expedia’s “total cost”. Well hidden. Basically includes use of lounges and umbrella at beach; bicycle use. AC seemed too cold even when we set to circulate.

The “ocean view” room was a legitimate full view with sliding door. On 18th floor ocean sound actually could be heard (and still some traffic).

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing for several reasons. Other guests were very rude—someone spilled a latte all over the floor and onto me and my belongings, didn’t apologize, and simply walked away without notifying staff or attempting to clean it up.

One of the elevators was out of service, which caused a nearly 30-minute wait. Taking the stairs wasn’t a realistic option since we had very heavy luggage.

I also woke up with a bug bite welt on my arm after laying in bed. I checked for bed bugs and didn’t see any, but it was still concerning. Additionally, the pool was dirty to the point that I didn’t feel comfortable using it.

The on-site bar/restaurant also closed very early, which was disappointing for a city hotel where late-night options are usually expected.

Overall, these issues made the stay uncomfortable and inconvenient, and I don’t feel the experience met expectations.

Good Location. We stayed in the PH facing the ocean. The room had a nice view. The staff were very helpful and nice. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 star. Every time you got out of the elavator going to the room it smelled like greese or trash not plesent. also our room had a couple broken things in it, curtians did not work and the toilet was wobbly.

The continental breakfast was terrible--reconstituted eggs, very limited fruit, very sweet cereals, undrinkable coffee. There are lots of options around for breakfast. Stay at the hotel. Eat elsewhere.

The view is nice, but I was expecting more of a beach experience and sounds of waves given the photographs when I booked. There was a lot of traffic noise and people at all times of night.

There are many places one can walk to, which is convenient. Uber was very accessible also. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful.

The ocean view was good. The hotel is substandard, especially for the price point. It has Hilton attached to its name so I expected more. The hotel is outdated and it was not the cleanest. There was mold in the shower and hallway ceilings. It gave more of a motel vibe. Genesis, the service manager was GREAT! She tried to accommodate us to the best of her ability, but there wasn't much she could do. We didn't receive our reward points that were promised as of yet-it's supposed to have taken 72 hours and that time has passed.

I loved staying here. While there were small things you were there that I really think could’ve taken the experience in the next level, the overall experience was excellent.

If I went back to PR soon, I would consider staying here again. You have the ability to get an assigned chair at the beach within walking distance for free. They have bike rentals many things are walkable around the property. I never waited more than five minutes for an Uber. Even at night, the area felt safe. There are two Walgreens type stores right nearby for anything you need.

The pool area was nice, but the hot tub was so hot!

There was no hand soap in the room. I don’t know if they don’t offer it or our room just got shorted, but I found that odd.

The sliding door to get on the balcony needed some repairs it seemed, but that didn’t impact our stay

The front desk staff could not have been more excellent! They added to my positive experience

The baseboard in the room was hanging off the wall and I couldn’t believe the housekeeping department just left it like that after I reported it. One day beds not made. Another day no towels and no bathroom paper. All I reported and took some pictures to show the front desk. The pool had lots of sand and they said that they clean it but all they did was put shock in it. Would never stay there again.

Perfect Location in the Heart of Condado!

Location, location, location! Condado Palm is perfect if you want to be in the heart of everything. The hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Just steps from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, bars, pharmacies, and shops. Super central and easy to get around. An excellent option for staying in San Juan.

The lobby and staff was very welcoming.. the cafe was also very good and the staff was friendly.. there are beach chairs for the hotel at the beach.. just bring towels with you as we went twice and was advised the hotel did not bring them towels to give to the guest.. the room we had was ocean view which was nice room was spacious enough for sleeping and getting ready.. house keeping cleaned but did not take all the garbage or provide additional toilet paper so we had to call for that.. overall location was good quick uber or walk to most places.. I would stay here again

Great location, the rooms are very noisy all night long you hear the traffic, cars honking, music playing we complained to the front desk and they gave us ear plugs that were actually helpful. Overall a great location and the beach club is great but if you don't plan to sleep then this is the place to be . Also hot tub was amazing so hot.

This was my first time in PR and we adored our stay here. The hotel is so beautiful, a block from the beach. You get complimentary beach chairs and towels right on the shore. The pool/jacuzzi area was always clean, never crowded. You can tan or just hang by the pool for hours. The room itself was gorgeous! We got a corner two queen room on the corner with a beach side view and it was so worth it.

The room was cleaned every day like clockwork. We had two issues with the shower which were replaced within 2 hours of us complaining. The staff are very nice and willing to help.

We plan on staying here again when we’re back in PR!

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel in Condado! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with easy parking and plenty of great food options nearby. The attached restaurant is absolutely amazing, some of the best meals I had during my trip. I felt safe the entire time, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. The overall atmosphere made me feel comfortable and at peace. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

I enjoyed my stay here at Condado Palm Inn Hilton! It’s two minutes from the beach, they have bikes you can use to explore, there’s a cafe and restaurant in the building so you have food options if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. There’s a pool and hot tub and I loved the interior design. Earthy and Chic! The staff was very helpful the text option made it easy to get in contact because it was difficult to reach the front desk via phone. We were on hold and it would reconnect to the main menu multiple times.The only other issue we had were a roach in the bathroom which they sent someone to take care of but they did not have any spray. Luckily they offered us to switch rooms. Overall when I return to Puerto Rico I would love to stay here again.
