My suite was gorgeous. Perfect view of the lagoon with awesome house keeping. I didn’t realize how perfect the location was but it’s literally on the strip to walk and sight see every night. The pool and hottub was a perfect perk when wanting to unwind from a long day at luquillo beach. A big shout out to the wonderful staff that took care of us including all the valets!

My stay during my B-day weekend was good. The staff was great, the location was perfect, the food in the two on-site restaurants was exceptional!
The reason for the less than 5-star review was due to a noise situation I experienced during my stay. Three of the four nights I had to contact the front desk to request that they contact the restaurant i.e. Dante that was directly above my 5th floor room. The music (bass) was too loud after a reasonable hour i.e. midnight.
It took me contacting Travelocity to have the issue resolved to my liking. I was credited back one full night's stay and subsequent hotel fee. Which in all fairness, the amount of sleep loss compared to all the positive attributes of this stay, I feel it was eventually handled properly.

Hotel is a vibe: beautiful rooftop bar and pool, every space was thoughtfully designed, and the restaurants were amazing. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the price or expectations. To start with the positives: the view was beautiful, the pool area was lovely, and we appreciated being allowed to check in an hour early. We were also greeted with champagne, which was a nice touch. However, once we got to the room, things quickly went downhill. The room was much smaller than expected. The shower looked like it had just been used, and there were stains on the bed sheets that appeared to be blood. The fridge was making a loud noise that sounded like an electrical issue. We immediately notified the front desk about the sheets and the fridge. Instead of offering to move us to another room, they said someone would come up to change the sheets and maintenance would fix the fridge. We went out to dinner, assuming everything would be handled while we were gone. When we returned, the maintenance had not been completed and we were unable to access our room. After traveling all day, this was extremely frustrating. Around 9:30 PM, we were finally told the room was ready. Upon going back in, we noticed the area underneath the fridge had not been properly cleaned — there were leftover flower petals from a previous guest. To make matters worse, after the “maintenance,” the fridge began leaking. At no point did the front desk offer any form of compensation or courtesy for the repeated inconveniences. Overall, this hotel is extremely overpriced

I had a high expectation for this hotel, as it is extremely beautiful online. The lobby and staff were exceptional. I gave this review 3 stars because of the lack of attention to the room. Our exterior door in the bathroom (only source of fresh air) was broken and unable to open. We called about it but nothing was done. Also, the room felt a little dirty - some shelves and walls looked dirty. Additionally, on 2 days, our room was not serviced and we needed to make a call to remedy.
The hotel roof turns into a nightclub at night. We were there on opening night for dinner and the bar and ambiance were amazing. However, don't try to fall asleep any time before 2am on Friday or Saturday - the club music is so loud. And the hotel and bar are not owned by the same people so the hotel doesn't have any control over the volume.
The hottub was out of commission for 2 days - kind of a bummer.

Overall - this hotel has promise - but needs more attention to detail.

The room was dirty, black mold around the shower, scum all around the tubs faucets, dirty jacuzzi tub in room, they penalized us for not wanting to stay and still charged us for a day which was 1400.00 I do not recommend and they are racist at the club in there they said no blacks. Gave all black ppl terrible rooms and the rooms are not as described online

The hotel advertises two restaurants but when I arrived at 7:30pm neither was open to guests. There is no where to eat or drink. The room is glam BUT the shower leaks into the bathroom creating puddles of about one inch of water. The hallways on property are so noisy around the clock that it is difficult to sleep (and I am not a light sleeper). The staff is friendly but there is little they can do to fix the property. I would never stay at this hotel again. It is impossible to rest or have a pleasant shower here.

My husband and I did a quick weekend trip and it was the perfect hotel. All employees were very attentive and friendly. Hotel is beautiful all around. Rooms are gorgeous and luxurious just need a little deep cleaning or minor up grading to make accents a little more polish.

Wish they told us we need to book for the dinner restaurant downstairs as soon as we got here, we would have did so; we was looking forward to dining but it was completely booked

Sorry but this was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in. While the staff were AMAZING, the maid service was horrific and I was surprised at how the aesthetics while pretty and seemingly grand, the furniture (dressers/closets/paint on the walls) were in poor condition. The hotel room itself was lipstick on a pig in my opinion. I was so disappointed because we were SO excited. The pictures are misleading for the quality of the room. Our friends stayed as well in another upgraded room and were equally disappointed.

Example, on day 3 I had to beg someone to please clean the room. On day 4 the only service I got was the bed was made. The floors were not swept or mopped. The bathroom still had my toothpaste and hair in sink. I had to chase the housekeeping down and ask for her broom. Overall, for the money I was let down.

Finally, in the rooftop bar, the server scammed us. The manager was amazing and professional. He asked us did we want to tip him, we seaid yes of course. I noticed he never handed us the machine to choose the tip. When he presented the receipt he had given himself a 30% tip. We asked why he did that, and he said \"it does that automatically here\" The manager confirmed he was lying. Apologized to us but it definitely left a bad taste in our mouth.

Our stay has unfortunately been very unpleasant. I’ve really tried to avoid leaving a negative review, but at this point it’s difficult not to. From early in the morning, starting around 8 AM, the noise level has been unbearable. Between the constant vacuuming in the hallways, loud footsteps above and around us, and what honestly sounds like construction or renovations happening next door, we haven’t been able to get any peace or rest during our stay.
On top of the noise issues, the service has also been disappointing. We specifically requested towels, and despite waiting, they were never brought to our room. For a place that should provide comfort and hospitality, the lack of responsiveness and consideration for guests has been incredibly frustrating.
Valet is extremely rude and it took 30 minutes for us to get our car when leaving to head to the airport. After waiting thirty minutes the guy with the Afro didn’t even apologize for the wait, open the doors or anything. He just parked the car and left the door opened and walked right inside. The only nice valet guy was Josue.
Overall, this has been one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I cannot recommend it. If I could give it less than 0/10, I would.

I like how the hotel is set up its is very romantic and couples friendly. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My one complaint is that the bell boys did not do their job at all, I can count on my hand the number of times the door was opened for me and my wife with 4 guys standing outside on their phones. I was a vip customer but did not recieve that treatment at all times.

I recently stayed at the OLV Hotel with my sister, and while we appreciated the beauty of the property and found our room to be quite lovely, we unfortunately experienced a significant issue during our stay that I feel needs to be addressed.

During our time in the room, we encountered repeated problems with the air conditioning system shutting off without our knowledge. As a result, the room became extremely humid, causing moisture to build up on the floors and walls. This created a slippery and unsafe environment, and both my sister and I slipped and fell multiple times. Thankfully, we did not suffer serious injuries, though we came very close to hitting our heads.

We initially reported this concern to a front desk receptionist, who assured us that the matter would be escalated to management and that an incident report would be filed. However, when we followed up the next day, no one at the desk had any record of our report. We informed a second receptionist, who again assured us that she would follow up, but we never received any further communication or resolution.

This lack of follow-through was disappointing, especially considering the potential for injury. We hope the hotel will take this matter seriously to ensure that proper safety measures are in place and that future guests do not face similar risks.

I loved the whole planning process from day one. OLV'S communication via text and phone was extremely professional. Upon arrival to valet service top of the line and friendly. Inside was greated by two very sweet and professional ladies working the front desk, was taken to my room and was shown how to work everything. The room was amazing aka mouth dropping top of the line, robes, various drinks incl. water, a safe for valuables etc too much to mention all plus concierge and room service. Wow.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding staff. Everyone was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool area is gorgeous, and watching the sunset from the rooftop was absolutely unforgettable. The location is also a huge plus: close to great restaurants, a kayak rental spot, a car rental service, and even a casino. Highly recommend!

This property is amazing! The rooms are top tier - elegant and luxurious. Only two real “complaints” - the pool is odddly designed and placed, as it’s positioned in a centered way in the dining area outdoors. It reads more of an aesthetic forward fountain than a pool. The hotel is a short walk from the strip which houses STK, a convenience store, and a plethora of other attractions including the beach. It’s sort of in the cut and on a block committed to a considerable (2) amount of construction sites. So, I can see that as being kinda creepy depending on the traveler and if they’re a lone traveler. Overall, great spot - would visit again and again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first 2 nights in Puerto Rico, and we had the most amazing time! We splurged on the panoramic balcony overlooking the lagoon and it did not disappoint. The food at the rooftop restaurant was incredible, and the pool/hot tub were so luxurious. The hotel was very quiet (possibly because it was a Sunday/Monday), but we felt very taken care of by the staff. The room was gorgeous, one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at. The Valet parking was easy and convenient as well. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, staff was amazing and accomodating, staff held our luggage at no charge before check in and after checkout... Photos made hotel appear to be bigger than it was but this was not a deal breaker. Rooftop hot tub was great, pool was small and awkwardly shapped. Biggest negative was the room upkeep. Hair was found on the shower wall, they never offered to clean room or replace towels unless requested. Shower door did not stay closed and bathroom door did not close properly. Overall i will stay again and recommend this property solely on how they treat their guest.

I love my experience at the OLV. I stayed here for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Room was clean and i absolutely LOVED the bathroom. 10/10.
