Overall, we had a good time. However, our first day and check-in experience was disappointing due to an interaction with Jesus at the front desk.
The day before our trip, we called to request an early check-in since our flight was arriving at 1 PM. The gentleman we spoke with said it should not be an issue. When we arrived, a young lady informed us that our room was not ready yet, but that she would text us as soon as it was available.
At 4 PM, the stated check-in time, we went back to the desk to ask about our room. Jesus told us, “We texted you.” I explained that I had not received any text, and he responded, “Oh well, we texted.” My husband then asked if he felt that was the right way to handle the situation, especially since we had been told the day before that early check-in should be possible and were also asked earlier that day to give it another hour.
I wanted to share this because when traveling, you hope to enjoy your trip from the very first moment. Unfortunately, this interaction took away from that experience. It was especially disappointing because this trip was our honeymoon.

Rooms were very tired, as was the rest of the hotel, except the reception and lobby area. Sea view from room was lovely, but balcony furniture was very basic. Public bathrooms were in desperate need of renovation, not on par with Hiltons usual standards. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel and not worth the $400 + per day.

The fridge, coffee maker and closet are in the bathroom with the toilet & shower…not exactly convenient if you’re not alone. The bathroom door has gaps so very little privacy. The room lock malfunctions so you need the room key to lock the door. There’s only 1 elevator working. The partial ocean view is 10% - the roof and buildings are the remaining 90%! There’s no restaurant in the hotel so the “breakfast” pictured is for the hotel across the street. The only thing this hotel has is a muffin and coffee bar. The big 5-Star is their staff! They’re friendly and so accommodating! They’re thorough with cleaning, service and extremely knowledgeable about the area.

The view was spectacular. The room was a little bit beat up, but we still had a nice stay with no issues. The in-room coffee station could have been much better and the pool drinks were way overpriced. The lagoon Beach area was nice as far as being able to get into the water.

Overall a solid choice. Best location in the area- nearby food and fun. Hotel room-levels could use some serious TLC- appeared to be mostly water damage from hurricanes and high humidity. Outside is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re looking for a salt water pool, swim up bar, or dip in the ocean—- all bases are covered. Giant Chess and Jenga offered outdoors most days. Splurge and get the ocean view room, you will not be disappointed. Staff was kind and helpful, with most being fluent in both English and Spanish. I would stay here again.

I would like to get a refund on my hotel stay. I was placed in room 517 and was unable to sleep the entire night. Something kept biting me. There were bedbugs in this hotel. I called the front desk and was told to email the manager. I was also charged $240.00 in resort fees and Iwant my money back.

I’m sure at one point this was a beautiful, beautiful property but because of hurricane you can see the deterioration of the property. There are areas where there’s just broken off cracked stucco and the second elevator of only two elevators up to the rooms was broken the entire time we were there, and the lobby is beautiful, but it was a ghost town therefore, some of the bars and restaurants were not open for business because there was no business.

There was only one elevator working in main lobby. We only found out about the other elevator option from another guest which was at the far end of the building near the pool. The tile floor in the room was very slippery when we arrived, not cleaned properly. The TV set was poor quality, bad reception unclear picture and sound, analog. Lighting wasn't working in several areas. The shower was filthy and shelves were broken that are supposed to hold soap, shampoo etc. The staff was rude and didn't explain how reserved area at the pool and hot tub were supposed to be rented by a third party.

First room wasn’t cleaned from toothpaste on the mirror to white spots on the picture above the bed (headboard) and the doors keypad had wires hanging out. Second room was ok. Room Doors are hard to open and balcony doors as well I cut my finger on the because of how bad they are to open and close. Pool bar bartenders are slow and not friendly the pool bar closes way to early. Only place to get food was by the pool. Small coffee and breakfast bar in lobby but not open long enough. No restaurant in the hotel. Only one elevator in the main lobby worked so waiting for the elevator was long. When at the pool I had to go to the bathroom and the pool bathroom was being cleaned witch is great but not when the cleaning lady is just talking on her phone and tells you to go to the lobby bathroom then when you get to the lobby bathrooms they’re also being cleaned. I had to go to my room and pee. Very inconvenient.

The stay was great. The Staff was great, the lagoon beach west of the hotel was awesome and safe. Condado beach was red flagged as unsafe and one life was lost during our week there. The persons went in the water at dusk. Red flags and signs said not to go in the water. This hotels lagoon beach was a god send, safe and the pools ect as well. perfect stay.

The hotel is an older hotel. Renovations were made on the lobby area and first floor but the rooms and hallways have seen better days.
There are two elevators in the lobby area but one of them was out of service the entire time I stayed at the hotel.

I will be contradicting myself in this review. 7 days stay with the top room and Ocean view. The staff was amazing. The lobbies, cafe, mezzanine and bar were not only aesthetically stunning but immaculate. The atmosphere was lively. The gift shop was well stocked and convenient. Issue was with the room. It was dilapidated. I wish I could include pictures. The tile floors were greasy and slippery. There was mold and peeling paint in the ceiling. The air conditioning unit was loud and leaking.The led mirror flickered and was missing pieces on all corners. The granite countertop was chipped. The shower was strangely in the middle of the bathroom and it leaked out onto the surrounding floor. There was missing/moldy caulk thru out. I will clarify that the issues seemed more maintenance and upkeep not cleanliness. The layout was odd overall as the mini fridge and coffee pot were inside the bathroom. I found this gross. The pool area again moldy areas, chipping paint, sagging lounge chairs. There’s some false advertising regarding included amenities so beware of that. The site implies the snorkeling trails are included as an amenity. Not true. Despite this we would stay there again! Just not for the $$ we paid. The ocean view is breathtaking. Direct access to Playita Del Condado with lounges and can use the hotel Hilton Garden Inn across the street pools and hot tub. Overall the location and access to 2 hotels amenities with beach access is great and worth it for the right price.

It was a nice stay. Pool restaurant and bar staff were great. Rooms are very clean. Coffee shop could have more option for non dairy items. They only had milk. The lounge chairs for the beach were terrible. Old, dirty, ripped and definitely time for an upgrade. Also, a leak from balcony above happened and woke up to a big puddle on our balcony. All in all it was nice but I wouldn’t say memorable.

the room was dirty, curtains were broken and you could tell they have not being washed in years, the mirror was broken and everything was broken inside the shower. A holiday inn in US has better conditions thay this hotel which I paid a-lot of money . Besides they have hidden fees which you only found out after you leave. The lobby and staff were gorgeous and very friendly. But other than that , I would not recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved this place. Yes, it’s dated. But it had everything i needed to make my quick getaway enjoyable. A special thank you to Louis at the pool side bar. He was incredible. So attentive and thoughtful. 10/10 service from him. Pools. Jacuzzi. Beach. Everything in walking distance. Not much else you could ask for. Also, thank you to Melany, Angel and Andres for the daily text check ins and quick fixes when needed. Definitely returning.

The staff at Condado were lovely. I do think tourists need to understand that things move at a slower pace in Puerto Rico, and I was happy to be patient when waiting for food, coffee, or drinks because everyone was so polite, fun, and friendly. The poolside area is beautiful, and I enjoyed the coffee shop and the breakfast pastries available. The poolside food was also delicious and convenient. The staff works extremely hard to keep the property clean. One thing to keep in mind that the beach next to the hotel is public.

Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining our room, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
However, the property itself is in rather poor condition, and it is time for Hilton to make an effort to update it. There are two pools: a chlorine pool with a swim-up bar and a saltwater pool. In general, many of the chairs around the saltwater pool were broken. The door to my room would not shut properly, and many doors throughout the property would slam shut. One of the elevators was broken, making it very inconvenient to access higher floors. Luckily, I was on the second floor and could take the stairs. The general condition of the common areas is very worn, including the furniture.

Overall, I did enjoy my stay because of the great staff, including the poolside security, housekeeping, front desk staff, concierge, and porters, who did their best to host us. However, Hilton should be doing a much better job of maintaining this property.

The staff was really nice, the pool was nice and the small beach with reserved chairs and umbrellas was great. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw lots of tropical fish, cute hermit crabs were always out at night, loved the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. This place is ok if you want some relaxing, non-busy time with your family. The vibe is just okay quality wise. Rooms and amenities are a little old and run down, but totally met our needs as we were out and about most days. Wished there was two working elevators. The restaurant food was good and the breakfast area had good coffee and breakfast options. Not sure if we’d stay there again but was a great price for the week. Pros and cons, but overall I’d recommend.

The pool and beach were great, the room needs an update, we didn't have a good selection for channel's not a Smart tv so we didnt have Netflix, when we turned the A/C on after a few minutes you heard a load bang like if someone was pushing thru the door, we got scared every time during the night, we decided to turn it off luckily the weather was cool so we didn't need it most of the time, the safety latch to secure the room was missing a screw so it was just dangling. Other than that the hotel stay was good and its like a 10 to 15 minute walk to other restaurants.

Beautiful hotel sits on the ocean with a beach and pool area. Staff were awesome. When they thought my bag was misplaced when we put it for keeping while we waiting to go to the cruise ship, they were as concerned as I was. They had me go with them to help locate it.

It was a two queen typical hotel room and the bathroom has a slider door that is a full inch or two away from the wall it slides on so when it's \"closed\" you can see right through the crack into the bathroom. If you're standing in the all glass shower, anyone in 1/3 of the room can hardly avoid seeing you. This is how it's designed. It's not broken. It's extra stupid because it's a double bed room so odds are good people sleeping in those separate beds don't want to shower or use the toilet in front of the other guest(s). It was a modern room so I assume it's the \"new version\" and the other rooms are all the same. There was also construction going on at the hotel and lots of banging and machine tools going on early morning and early evening (we were gone during the day but I bet there was noise all day). Great location though. I like to run and there is a great running path from here all the way to Castillo San Felipe Del Morro. I didn't have time to try the pool or beach, which was really crowded in the day.
