Tried to check in at 3pm had to wait over 45 min in their lobby before we were given the old fashion metal key. Steps going to our third floor was dangerous. No hot water for my wife’s shower at 5:30 am but I had plenty at 6:30am?
Very poor neighborhood.
Free shuttle was a joke ended up taking a taxi to the pier. Would not recommend this Hotel

This was one of the shortest stays. The staff was unprofessional. Elevators were not working had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with all my kids and luggage. Washers were not working. Vending machines had no supplies. Had to walk miles and miles to get a water. & when we asked them if they can at least help us in adjusting price for all the inconvenience. They did not want to help at all. Their response was sorry I can’t do anything about it and the lady kept talking on the phone. Very unprofessional do not recommend!

It was very clean. But it smelled like humid made it hard to sleep well. Needs a long mirror. Couldn’t adjust the ac. And the blower was broken. Also in order to iron you had to go downstairs to the laundry room to do it and it was really hot. I do have to stay, the staff were very nice.

It took almost 10 minutes for someone to check us in, and we had to call to have them come. The rooms were very cramped and dated, with a strong musty smell, linens were neat but stained and extremely old. Air conditioning was super loud as well. Bed was uncomfortable to even sit on. It looks like everything hasn’t been renovated/changed in the last 40 years honestly. We checked out within 15 minutes of entering our rooms, there was no way we could sleep there with our children. And I’ve stayed in foreign countries in modest/budget places but this is not modest, it was just extremely poorly maintained.

Very poor quality, especially given the extremely high rate they charged. Not a box of tissues, or a small bottle of moisturiser. Unable to adjust the air conditioning, on or off - blowing directly onto the bed - helpful staff, but certainly not friendly, very very basic and for almost $200 US, beyond disappointing

Nothing like pictures The check in was terrible and the clerk took a list of all drivers license numbers and a picture and then said the next day that was not there practice and it did not happen. No vending machines that worked on bed did not have clean sheets. Hair dryer did not work and had bare wires exposed in bathroom. Not clean Not safe and No service. Please remove from your site.

The room was clean and the staff were super nice and very helpful. There were a couple of problems though. The bed was very hard and the pillows very fat, so it was very hard to get comfortable. The air conditioning is either on or off, no adjusting the temperature. The covers on the bed did not give adequate warmth the the temps in the room. The hotel itself is in need of a facelift. The decor and furniture are sadly outdated. They do have free shuttle service to the port which is very close, so it will save a few bucks. There were many restaurants, gift shops, and a supermarket all within walking distance, which is a big plus. The front office clerks were very nice. One suggested a yummy place to eat and another helped us order pizza. This was very helpful.

Staff was great, but the stay was poor. I had to change rooms halfway through because there was no water pressure on my floor (I don't know if this was a hotel-specific problem or a Puerto Rico infrastructure problem), and the staff was very efficient in getting me moved. But neither bathroom sink had hot water (the hot water source was not connected to the sink) so I had to shave by dipping my razor in the shower flow. Also half of my four mornings there was no hot water when I needed to shower.

Staff was rude, there was no control for the air conditioning in your room they had to come up. And change it with a remote. Pillows were hard as a rock. No hot water to take a shower. Water in bathroom sink ran all night. No one is around at night and the morning at the front desk to help with anything..Drink machine in hotel was empty, was told to walk to a store which wasn’t close. Air conditioning when working blows directly on you when sleeping. Noisy on the street side. Would never stay here again.

When we checked in the front desk, lady was not very friendly. In the morning, we went down for a cup of coffee and the cups there were all dirty and no coffee was available. A shuttle was to be provided for us to the cruise ship and no shuttle arrived.

We were supposed to have free transportation to the port — the clerk said it would probably be best if we got our own transportation…she should have told us that when we first went down to “wait” for the van; not let us wait for an hour in the lobby & outside on the sidewalk!

The main reason for this rating is the lack of hot water! When we arrive after a day of travel there was no hot water. The next morning there was only a few seconds before it turned cold.

It was very close to the port which was the main reason for staying here. The shuttle was very good.

Desk personnel were “flip” in their response claiming they couldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t even care. Sink faucet was inadequate and needs two handles, not a press down mechanism that only dispenses an inadequate amount of water.

2 stars for the following reasons:
- clean
- reasonable location

However:
- very sketchy check-in/ checkout (put you key in a small jar)
- take a photo to have instructions for room tv, air-conditioning…
- air conditioner is either on or off; no temperature adjustment. At night it was super cold and we had 1 basic blanket.
- windows are plexiglass and the noise of the highway is LOUD.
- the receptionist rarely raises her head to greet/watch those coming & going. While checking us in she was on the phone chatting the whole time!
- no hand towels only 1 bath towel per client and no hand towel.
- sink has no hot water for washing hands.

This is a place that I am disappointed that Expedia lists!

The place was very clen. Super basic. Nothing extra. No coffee maker, but it had small refrigerator and microwave. There is the T-Mobile center 5 to 10 minutes walking with many good restaurants and live music at night. The afternoon lady who checked us in was very unfriendly. Not helpful at all. The hotel has free shuttle to the port. Make sure you make a reservation.

The room was nice, but there were a lot of other factors that hurt the stay.

Elevator at this property is broken so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Thankful it wasn’t farther.

The check-in process was chaotic and unorganized. A lot of people needed to check-in at the same time so there was a line, which I understand. What wasn’t made known to me, was that the receptionist was keeping a list so she could call people up, but she wasn’t telling people when they entered so it was out of order and we wasted a lot of time. It took a full hour to check-in.

There is parking on the property, but the garage is one of the tightest garages I’ve ever seen. It took a 20 point turn to get out most days.

Finally, the stairs included a small hidden ramp on the top of each landing that caused me to fall down the stairs once.

Room was nice, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this hotel.

Room was dark in color. Shower did not have a soap holder you just drop it on the shower floor. Did not have a key card you used a regular door key and we only got one key. Also a glass lead panel in the middle of a front door and you could see the light in the hall which is typical door for a house not a hotel room. This door was at every room. You had to step up to enter your room meaning there was a lip at the threshold. No white sheets or comforter. Should have a toilet bowl scrubber. there was a back door/wooden deck to the outside in the room which was locked and we had no key and a door on the deck which could possibly lead to another entrance to our room. Lobby furniture belonged in a museum, ugly slip covers on the sofas. Light switches all over the room and was labeled on how to use them. You could not adjust the A/C temperature either it is on or off. No room for adjustment .Pitiful place maybe you should spend a night here. Better yet please return my money

It’s an older hotel with very little amenities. It’s reasonably priced. Our room was in 3rd floor which had a freeway next to it so heard freeway noise. It was clean but definitely a budget hotel. I would say good for a one night stay if your taking a cruise.
