The room was very poorly maintained. The electronic key panel moved around because the door was broken, the fridge was rusty inside and out, there was no plug in the broken sink and water was leaking from somewhere in the bathroom. Also the toilet constantly ran all the time unless I took the cistern lid off to stop it. The room was at the front so extremely noisy from the traffic until around 1 or 2am each night. Also only being single glazed didn’t help.
I asked to be moved but was told the hotel was full. I did take photos as proof.
The bed was comfy but linen wasn’t white - more greyish from age.
Apart from the staff member the 1st night all the others I encountered were so friendly and helpful especially the lady.

The room was mostly clean. However the room looked like it was half under construction with mud/spackle on the walls. The towels were a dingy off white/brown color that looked like they were stained dirty. You could hear noise outside of the hotel the whole night and could hear everything in the room next to you including their tv and conversations.

The staff was amazing, location was perfect to the beach and shopping. The room was okay, dated but it wasn't bad. The sink was stopped up so while brushing our teeth we had to keep the water off. The air didn't work after the first day oh and I have several bumps on my body and so does my boyfriend. My thighs, arms and stomach. Again, the staff was great but the rooms need work done to them. Oh and the bar from what we were told is not apart of the property. It was a party going on and we could not attend because we were not on the guest list.

We are writing regarding our recent stay. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean (the floor was slippery and the towels had hair on them), the bed squeaked loudly, and the noise from other rooms was excessive. Several amenities did not work as advertised: the hot tub was lukewarm with no jets, the shower did not function properly, and the microwave was broken when we asked to heat our food.

In addition, we were told the lobby would be locked at 11 p.m. for safety, but when we returned at 12:40 a.m. the doors were still open, which made us feel unsafe.

The Wave Hotel doesn't respond to messages via the Hotels.com platform. Their phone number doesn't work and they don't have a working website, so we aren't even sure if the hotel is actually open. We tried multiple times to contact them about a late arrival and they didn't respond, so we had to find an alternate hotel (and spend more $$) as a result. Even the Hotels.com customer support team failed to contact them when we asked for help. Either this hotel is no longer in business or it simply doesn't operate in a professional manner. We wasted time and money as a result. Horrible experience.

This was the perfect place to stay for my first time visiting PR. I was able to walk to the beach along with having access to various restaurants. Taking a uber or taxi from my hotel was perfect because it was about a 10 minute drive to the stadium (concert), Old San Juan, or the airport. The staff was great in helping me get checked in & out. There were available 24 HR a day ! Definitely would book at this hotel again

It was a convenient location, however there were some issues. There were stains on the sheets, the bed was itchy, hot tub didn’t work and when it did the rooftop was rented out for a party so hotel guests couldn’t go up there. Air conditioning was not working, it was too cold about 58 degrees. We had to turn off the AC in order for the temperature to increase. The Hotel does not look bad from the outside but there are some flaws. For the price i would have rather paid more for a cleaner place.

From day one, we had experienced issues with the air conditioning, which were only resolved temporarily instead of being addressed by providing us with another room. Upon entering the hotel, we noticed a strong smell of mold rather than just humidity. Additionally, my friends stayed in the adjacent room and found black mold on their bathroom walls. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, they seemed to regard the issues as normal.

There also weren't enough power outlets in the room, making it difficult to charge our devices. As a result, we decided to check out of this hotel.

Please don’t be fooled by the photos online! When we first arrived, the lobby looked fine, but the moment we entered our room, we were shocked at how different it was from what was advertised on Expedia. My friend and I ended up checking out after two nights and moving to the Condado Palm, which was amazing by comparison.

Here’s what we experienced at The Wave Hotel:
•The room had a strong unpleasant odor.
•Only two thin, stained pillows were provided.
•The mattress was small, extremely springy, and cheap quality — it gave me back pain and made it nearly impossible to sleep.
•The bathroom was tiny, with damaged walls and a rusty light switch. It didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a normal shower.
•Towels and linens looked dirty, and I didn’t feel comfortable using them.

Overall, the room felt unclean, run-down, and completely different from what was pictured online. While the price may be lower, the experience is not worth it. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else — we were so relieved when we moved hotels.

This location is exactly where you want to be! From the moment our group arrived, we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The employees are always attentive to your needs and dedicated to provide the utmost care. The rooms are beautiful with wide windows, vibrant blue furniture, and super spacious. Supplies are also replenished every day of your stay! Right at the very top of the wave hotel you can find yourself admiring the city views alongside a jacuzzi. Right in the center of multiple highways, you're only 2 minutes away from Condado Beach! You're also surrounded by a consistent amount of plazas and restaurants to look forward to.
