Ola Boutique was such a beautiful place to stay! The staff was amazing SHOUT out to Elliott who was so welcoming and gave great recommendations to places. Breakfast was great had it prepared every morning. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I will be staying here again when I come back!

It was a truly disappointing stay. Upon arrival, I noticed a red stain on the room's carpet, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. For instance, there were strands of hair on the duvet and dust accumulated in the corners. Furthermore, the air conditioner was mounted on the ceiling directly above the bed...
It seemed like the filter wasn't changed often, and since it was right above the bed, the wind gave me a headache. Also, the outside door was left open during my stay because the interior walls in the hallway were being painted, so the indoor air quality was poor. Furthermore, this is the first time I've seen a hotel that didn't even provide Kleenex tissues and told me to use a bounty instead. To make matters worse, on the morning of my last day—when I needed to head to the airport—the water stopped working. This made it impossible not only to shower but also to use the toilet properly. I reported the issue to the manager, but I was even more frustrated by their unprofessional handling of the situation; I didn't receive anything resembling a sincere apology, even at checkout. This was my first trip to Puerto Rico, and unfortunately, I don't think I'll be left with any fond memories, all thanks to this hotel.

The property was kept up and the room we had was spacious and well maintained. The location was great and central to just about everything we wanted to explore. The only negative in my personal preference was that there was no iron, which wasn’t a huge drawback just small inconvenience.

We only really got to speak to one staff member, he was nice always and a good conversation.
The lady who cleans the rooms, also very nice.
The room itself you just need to know what you’re getting yourself into.
We had the queen room and it certainly was something. It’s very tiny, there’s no door to the bathroom, the shower is literal inches from the bed where the water would literally get on the carpet and also has a door you need to be very careful with. The way the room is designed may be best for someone who plans on never staying in the room. There is a hotel breakfast, but it’s not really much, but generally that’s up to you. There’s no amenities, like a pool or anything. There’s also no microwave or refrigerator for the room. Literally bed, toilet, shower and TV. That’s all. Is the hotel in a central location? Yes, with a 24/7 supermarket across the street and a short walk to condado. Is the hotel luxury? No, not at all. Also for the room, there’s really just a chain door guard that locks the door. You can also hear everything from neighboring rooms, including water running. Overall, wasn’t the best hotel stay and the pictures shown don’t really show all the rooms well, to see this as an option. It seems like they have a more upscale hotel they offer, but possibly not at this property because all the pictures look like they’re completely somewhere else.

Elliott was the star at our hotel stay. He made us breakfast and was super friendly and helpful. This hotel has no gym, swimming pool, there is no spa in property. There is no a la carte restaurant. The common area is nice and relaxing and there is one pool table. The rooms are tiny and there is no door for the toilet, no privacy, and the shower water goes everywhere. It IS close to everything, 2 24 hour supermarkets, pharmacy, beach, pick up for excursions, easy to uber to old San Juan and to Piñones. Tons of restaurants nearby.

When we arrive for our family of 5 booking , there were only 2 towels in the room, the manager said the towels were in the laundry and we would get them shortly, we did not receive them until 2 days later, my kids had to use small towels. The water was shut down twice on 2 different days, we had to adjust our plan due to this issue. On the second day the water was shut down from 3am- around 10am which we then decided to leave the hotel and stay elsewhere as we still had 3 days left of our vacation. We ask for a refund on the last 2 night and were declined. Francisco the manager was very apologetic and said we would get the refund and now they are refusing to and lied saying it was a nation wide 15 minute water shut down. Please safe your money and stay elsewhere. Stay was arguing at the lobby on who was cleaning what room, the day we checked out they could not even serve the breakfast because of the water issue. DO NOT Recommend!

Staff was amazing! Roof top under construction, would love to see it when it’s finished. Room amenities were good. My one complaint - no quiet hours or noise cancelling between rooms. I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were saying and doing. They kept me up every night even when I asked them to be quiet. If you value peace and relaxation, this might not be the place.

The water didn’t work at the hotel for over 12 hours one night the lady at the desk was security didn’t work for the hotel so she couldn’t help! The hotel doesn’t have any overnight help. The sofa in our room 401 had brown stains on it. The room doesn’t have a phone to call the desk the parking is 25$ a night often no parks available. The room doesn’t have hair dryers no irons or ironing boards.

What the website advertised and what we got were two completely different things, it states there was a spa and showed pictures of a beautiful spa setting which was a big reason as to why we stayed there but really there is no spa. The spa is a whole different business and we would have to pay to use it. There are no shower curtains therefore you bathroom ends up completely flooded, fall risk needles to say the breakfast was one maybe a young child would eat, the walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors, parking you have to pay for ontop of the room rental each day tou stay its a fee, the parking area is small and hard to get in and out of. The positive found was the amazing staff member who checked us in and the mere fact we were in Puerto Rico

the room that we had seemed massive compared to a normal suite we have had before. Two queen beds and a pull-out queen and we still had plenty of room to maneuver. My only \"complaint\" was the open shower concept (which I love) got a little messy at times, but was relatively easy to clean up. The room was very clean with plenty of storage space.

When we checked in, the guy (wish for the life of me I could remember his name) gave us lots of local food places and places to go if we had the time.

The breakfast was small with the amount of things you could have but was very fresh. The lady (cant remember her name either) cooking would make eggs for you on request, constantly seeing her making waffles and sausages. She seemed to perk up even more every time someone came down to eat. Even noticed how she handled different visitors differently when someone else checked out and started talking to her about something on a more personal level. She noticed the things we liked and catered to that, as well.

In every other need we had, they were always super accommodating and helpful.

They also had a bottle of wine in the room for us when we got there as a little welcoming gift.

Located in the heart of San Juan, you need to book it! Public transportation is a breeze with multiple bus stops in super close proximity and plenty of iconic food options nearby less than 5 minutes away walking. The staff was all super nice and accommodating to us and our day to day needs. Beach is a 10 minute walk up the road from the hotel so you don't even need to go far. The option for parking in the back is there but because of the location of the hotel, you don't even need a car! Breakfast served is simple but just enough to fill and start your day! Elevator is a bit small but that was never a problem for us. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and our bed was always made when we came back.

I thought this hotel was very nice and had a lot of character. The staff was amazing and offered a lot of assistance. if you were expecting a Hilton room with everything that this place may not be for you it’s a great place to travel to and super close to the beach. I was so happy to have come here and experienced everything right in the middle. It is six minutes from the beach walking and three hours from old San Juan if you walk,20 minutes if you drive. There’s a grocery store right in front and that was very helpful. The restaurant across the street was amazing. It was like a speakeasy overall I had a great time and as a traveler who frequently stays at places for a short time, this place is very nice for two people. I definitely would recommend upgrading if you have more than two people or if your travel partner is used to a different style of hotel similar to luxury I would upgrade your room. I overall loved this place and definitely want to come back!

I stayed on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, my experience was not very pleasant. The walls seem to be quite thin, as I could clearly hear the person in the next room snoring and their alarm going off. The room was also small and felt cramped. Additionally, the pillowcases and bed sheets were not changed during my stay, which was disappointing. The staff are friendly and nice.

It started with a great welcome and the shot of coquito. The room was fabulous! Two- California's King size beds, refrigerator, microwave, full size couch. The breakfast bar had excellent choices. Made to order eggs or omelets, yogurt and fruit and other options. It was spacious and clean. It exceeded all my expectations. The shower was exhilarating ! The water pressure was great!! The areas the water came out of were awesome ! I will let all my friends know this outstanding Boutique ! I can’t wait to try spa services next time.

The room was clean for the most part and very spacious. One of my issues were with the lack of towels and the towel for your feet after a shower, which we got on our 5th day. Also, my biggest issue with the room. The carpet needs a good cleaning. It gave the room a musty smell.

The staff was courteous and very attentive. No complaints there.

My last complaint is the hotel's parking. It's very unfortunate to have to pay $25 dollars a night for parking. You would hope it's included with the stay. But no, that's not the case.

Check in was frustrating, traveled with family had 4 rooms reserved. The man at front desk kept disappearing and wouldn’t come back for about 10 minutes. After I got home 10 days later noticed my 100 security deposit wasn’t refunded. Called very hard to get ahold of someone. After I finally got someone to answer they kept telling me someone will call you!! Which no one ever did. Wasn’t until I told them going to call BBB that surprisingly Right away was refunded. All three other family members had the same issues.

The rooms were spacious and had plenty of space! All the staff were super nice and helpful!
They forgot to fill up the body soap when it was out, but they gave us soap when we asked for it. So not big of a deal.
I really liked the location, it was really convenient and walking distance to the beach, 24 hours supermarket, and la placita de santurce.
They also had a cute little coffee shop that’s outside the hotel which is also convenient!
Overall I would stay at Ola boutique again!

There were many good things. Carlos, night security, billiard table, clean rooms, nice lobby, decent location, super market across the street, nice breakfast place nearby, bars/food 5 min walk, a place to secure luggage prior to check in. Here is my beef, although check in is 3pm we had asked about early check in before booking. The answer was \"maybe\". We arrive at 10 am went out for 3 hours and then we waited in the lobby for 2 hours with two other groups. It turns out there were only 3 check ins that day. I can't understand why the cleaning crew wasn't told to prioritize the new check ins. Check out is noon! It took 3 hours to prepare 3 rooms? Awful management of house keeping personnel. All the new check ins could have settled in before 1pm. Could have been a 5 star review.

The hotel description was NOT as advertised.. there is no spa, restaurant, or valet parking. Breakfast was served in the lovby at same desk as the advertised “bar”.

We reserved the Presidential suite- what we got was 2 rooms that had the separated door opened. No kitchen - only 2 small microwaves & refrigerators. Rooms slept 6 but seating was for 4. Beach was a 20 minute walk.

Pictures advertised of the hotel are not accurate/very outdated including the front of the hotel.

Staff were extremely friendly. Morning breakfast was very good.

There was black mold in the shower which we bought our own cleaning stuff since the hotel was on refundable and we had to stay 15 nights. They didn’t always clean the room, and we even had to purchase our own toilet paper. I wouldn’t say anything bad about the staff but we wouldn’t stay there again.

Oh and there’s no door on the bathroom! Not something we thought to ask for but I figured I would share to help the next potential guests.

Staff was awesome, room was clean. Breakfast was the same every day, omelette, sausage/hot dogs, yogurt, strong coffee, and juice. Outside of the building didn’t match photos on website or Expedia. There were no amenities, rooftop was closed, no spa, no hot tub. Great access to everything in San Juan. No restaurant on site, no laundry, not in a nature reserve it’s in the middle of San Juan. No sauna, no banquet hall, elevator was questionable. For the price it was a great stay, but if you need a hot tub or spa you’ll have to drive. Check in wasn’t on time, but we got a similar room after waiting a few hours. No golf course nearby!
We really enjoyed our stay water pressure and temperature was awesome!
