We asked for blankets for a day nd a half I went down to get them they said they bring them up never did it took till the following day for us to get them ! Then we ordered food from the restaurant by the pool they took a hr to bring me a burnt chicken sandwich then completely forgot about my girlfriends order so then we had to wait another 40 mins for hers to come out so she had to eat her food in the uber ! Anything metal in the room had rust on it downstairs in the lobby looked good but once you got to the room you notice a lot of rust everywhere and the shower wasn’t really clean either and the toilet randomly got clogged honestly great location and great looking lobby and pool area but just want too fond on this hotel

The room service was not the best with making sure we had coffee and towels. Once I went to the check in area they were very nice and provided what I needed. The hear rental is in Marriot Stellaris just a few buildings over, the destination fees were not in the Expedia fees so we were charged $50 destination fees per day.

Clean your pullout beds. My daughter went to go sleep on it since we had a king bed room and the sheets were stained with food crumbs all over. So they obviously do not clean those sheets. It was pretty gross. There was a really loud sound coming from air conditioning unit. Very noisy hotel was not please with my stay.

Let's start with my arrival. Outside of some minor issues with their card machine (needs to be updated to the pay and tap system), my check in was decent. When it came to the arrival at my room I was thoroughly disappointed. The furniture was old. All the metal finishings' were rusted. There was sand on the floor and I had just walked in. The hallway floors are stained as if they have no been shampooed in some time. There should be more seating in the lobby area considering the size of it. With all that said, I enjoyed my stay after I was placed in a new room.

The hotel was just ok. The front desk was not helpful at all during check in. It took us a while to figure out the pool was in the rooftop. The elevators are super slow and always crowded. The first night I found a toothpick in my bed and asked them to change the sheets in my room. When we got back from exploring the room was still not done at 4pm.

I booked my stay two weeks in advance, but when I arrived for check-in, I was told the property had been overbooked and the room I specifically requested was no longer available. On top of that, the small-framed lady at the front desk was rude, snappy, and not helpful at all during the situation. Very disappointing customer service and poor handling of reservations. Not to mention house keeping didn’t clean my room once they just kept bringing new towels and rags.

So, where to start. So check in, went smooth. A lot of extra charges. Like they say you get a 17.50 credit for the bar or food. Well what they don’t tell you is u must use it for the credit. As well as the 5 dollars a day at their convenient store. The room was not very clean other people hair around bathroom sink. Baseboards corners build up. It just looked like a fast clean up before they re used the room. The chairs on the balcony very uncomfortable you will have a checkered back and butt print after sitting outside to enjoy the views which is part of the experience. Floors are always slippery. $25.00 a day for parking!!!!! That was more expensive than the car rental. Not to mention 24.99 per person for breakfast! No coffee unless you pay. Nothing Continental
The pool area was nice. There was no hot tub!

My room had an odor coming from the bathroom. The hallway carpet is very stained. My room was very nice but the drawer from underneath the refrigerator is oxidized. The staff amazing especially The restaurant breakfast staff, two pool young men who waited on us! The front desk, we love Jafar! We were a group of 7.

Great location with many options for food and shopping. I felt safe in the area walking at night. Smaller hotel with rooftop pool and bar that wasn’t overly crowded. You receive a small food/beverage credit daily. My mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable the first night. I notified staff and they immediately changed out the mattress. Staff were kind and helpful. My only issue was operating the thermostat - I couldn’t seem to figure out how to increase the temperature so ended up turning the unit off at times. Was informed by a local tour guide that the beach near the hotel is not the safest for swimming due to frequent rip tides but the beach itself was nice with beach loungers and umbrellas available for use. Overall a very nice stay!

The AC was a great stay. The location is within walking distance to the beach which is breathtaking on good days, the waves vary & you can experience areas with minimal activity. The popular breakfast spot Pinky’s is just a block away as well as Anita gelato which is open late. The town has a lot to offer with food & there’s a pizzeria with a speakeasy that come highly recommended & I only came across it on my last night Sunday but it was closed. There are other bars & restaurants that are open after 1AM but it’s better to get there before then because they say everything closes around 2. The rooms are basic & nice, nothing fancy, it can get cold but once you step onto the balcony you understand why. The best thing is the pool, albeit nothing big but it’s charming. I didn’t get to experience the rest of the amenities such as Bar.C.Lona / (gym was being remodeled) & the breakfast buffet price wasn’t desirable, thought it’s not complimentary, you get a discount for it depending on how you book. All in all , I truly enjoyed my time here & would book again.

Staff was friendly and desk staff did what they could to get room ready. The bath sink leaked and there is no exhaust fan. We couldn’t use all of our rewards each day because of the way they were set up.
Overall it was nice. However, there should be a better informal kitchen that includes more choices like fresh fruit and cereal as well as coffee and danish

Not very clean. Staff are just ok, not super friendly. No room service, you have to get your own food at the rooftop bar. Only one very slow elevator. The worst part is that my daughter and I got bit by bed bugs, and the sheets were not clean. I payed so much and this hotel was just average, if not below average. Will not be returning.

Great family stay in a perfect Condado location

We had a really enjoyable stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott San Juan Condado. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with a calm and stylish atmosphere that made it easy to relax after busy days exploring Old San Juan.

The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, which made things very convenient when traveling with kids. The rooftop pool area was a real highlight for our family, offering great views and a nice place to unwind.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and overall the service was smooth and professional. Rooms were comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully laid out.

All in all, a great base for a family trip to San Juan — we would definitely stay here again.

The room was in good conditions BUT when it came to the cleaning with the housekeeper, the room was never swept and never dusted. The only thing the housekeeper did was put clean towels and make the bed that’s all. The elevator in our section was out of service the entire week we were there and on the other elevator I almost got stuck in it. The front desk service was ok.

The shower was amazing at this hotel, the staff was absolutely amazing - very polite! The only thing I didn’t love was the lighting in the room there were a couple of lamps and then spot lights through out the room hard to look in the mirror with shadows. Otherwise everything was great!!!

Our room was clean, comfortable well appointed modern with simply the best bed to sleep on when you’re on vacation. It’s the reason I booked the hotel and honestly, it really is true. The hotel itself is smaller, but in a great location with a lot of professionals more couples. Less smaller children, which is what we were looking for on our journey.

Nice hotel and most staff were awesome, but the room itself was the worst stay I’ve experienced. To elaborate…Following a flight cancellation on January 31, my husband and I stayed at the AC Hotel Marriott San Juan in room 505 until February 1.

While the front desk and bar staff were friendly, our experience was marred by significant issues with the room. Specifically, the roll-in shower flooded within minutes of use. Additionally, I discovered a clump of hair on the shower wall that did not belong to me.

I immediately alerted the staff. While a team member arrived to place towels down to manage the flooding, two soaking wet towels were left behind, leaving us with only one dry towel. Furthermore, despite being told the hair had been removed, it remained on the wall.

The following morning, I attempted to shower using only the handheld head and ensuring the curtain was closed. The floor began to flood again after only two minutes, forcing me to stop before I could finish washing. The hair was also still visible on the wall.

This experience was unacceptable and highly disappointing. I sent this complaint directly to the hotel who had a manager call me. I was offered an apology and a $55 credit. While I appreciate the gesture, this room was costly with taxes and fees, $600+. Do not stay here unless you are desperate for a room due to a flight cancellation or bad weather and know you’re getting ripped off.

There was an unpleasant smell in the hotel. The thermostat in my room was locked so I could not adjust the temperature. I moved to another room and I could not get the hot water to turn on in the shower or bathroom sink despite following the instructions. The food in the restaurant is limited at best. This hotel does not meet the Marriott standards to which I am accustomed.

This was our 2nd Stay with the Hotel. An it was marvelous the things that brought us back were still the same. The Beds are absolutely thee Best feature along with the Balcony views and vacation peace. It’s also perfectly centered with the entire Strip In condado. 15 minute walk to the night light in La placita an 20 min ride to old San Juan.

The breakfast cost $49.95 per person, their is a chatge on check in $396.00 wasnt prepared for that. Charge of $45 per day destination fee. Food is very average, eat in the area. Phones dont work and i paid for king bed and got a queen, the feont desk didnt nothing to resolve it
