All the staff was very friendly. The building was under construction at the time so we couldn’t get the full effect of what is to come. You can tell they are working on updating things and giving the place a modern look. The hot tub was not working, a minor inconvenience. The restaurant was very nice with few options. Overall, we had a good time, the location is close to the beach and plenty of restaurants.

Abitto was an unplanned gem during my stay. I came to this hotel the second day of my weeklong time in Puerto Rico because my original hotel in Santurce didn’t have water due to the water crises in PR. I can’t say anything bad about this hotel. There is currently a lot of construction due to renovation, but this because they are transforming into an IHG hotel. They said renovation will be done in 6 months. Good food with a 25 dollar daily voucher. Loved the hot tub. No complaints.

The elevators are not safe, feels weird. Does not operate properly.

No drinking water availability. Not even to purchase- was asked to purchase from a sister/partner hotel in front around 2-3 AM in the night.

The staff was so welcoming every time we would go in and out of the hotel. The amenities provided by the hotel were wonderful and over what we expected to be given. They provided us with information on activities that we could do, places that they recommended to visit and places to go out to eat. I will say that even if the rooms were amazing to stay at, the door to the shower doesn’t close properly and there was a lot of water leaking out tot he floor and the ac was really close to the bed so only one side of the room was cool while the other was not. I would also add that they should include another mirror to the room, because as a group of girls traveling together we were having issues with the lighting that was on the only mirror provided. But apart from that i loved it and i would definitely stay here again!

Booked a suite for my vakay. Arrived to the property and it was not exactly what the pics online looked like but it was not super terrible. When I went up to my room, immediately after stepping out of the elevator I was hit with a wave of hot stagnant air. Upon arriving to my room door there a noticeably strong order of throw up. Once I got Inside the room, I immediately noticed all the furniture in the room was damaged, broken, or all scratched. “Black spots”all around the a/c unit (mold) and stained sheets. The room looked very cheaply put together. When I mentioned this to the front desk their reply was oh ya we don’t have a/c on that floor. And they questioned my on why I thought the black spots were mold. As if I was a liar. So, the floor that holds all the suites is the only floor that doesn’t have a/c on it? And why is there a foul smell of throw up? Shouldn’t that be cleaned? We had to speak to several front desk workers until we finally spoke to the manager who reluctantly caved and issued us a credit for the issues we brought up. After they issued the credit I felt like each time we walked by the front desk the staff no longer greeted us. We saw the manager a few times after that and she didn’t even look our way. Poor service and horrible experience. I will never book at this crappy property again.

Nice hotel, 10/10 location. Wonderful staff and restaurant exceeded my expectations. For the first few nights we were on the second floor and we did see many ants around the air conditioner. The hotel is also currently under construction and the sound on the second floor is absolutely unbearable and starts around 8 am. The staff was happy to move us to the fifth floor when a room became available and if I had started out on the fifth floor I would have given a five star rating (you cannot hear the noise up there). Overall I had a wonderful experience despite the construction noise and the ants, however these are some things to consider when booking I would ask for a room on a higher floor or ask for a discount if booked on the second floor!

I booked this stay for May of 2026 back in November of 2025. I was very specific on that we wanted a King bed in our room. We arrived later in the evening and found that they didn't have a King room available, but they would have one the following day. She asked if that would be ok and I told her it didn't seem like I had a choice. The desk associate was very nice and looked for an open room for us. She gave us keys to the room and then called us back to change to a different room. Fine. Whatever. We go upstairs and open the door to a room that already has a person in it! I was mortified!
We then go back downstairs and she has to go and look at 2 rooms in person to be sure other people weren't already in them. Finally, we got to a room for the night. It ultimately took us 2 days to get into the room we actually paid for.
The \"new\" room was in the tower and while it looked pretty when we walked in, it wasn't that great. Thankfully, the AC worked and we did have hot water.Unfortunately, our lagoon view was mostly covered by buildings, the shower faucet was difficult to turn on and off, the door to the bathroom had frosted glass and it was directly next to the bed so that when someone used it in the night, the entire bed lit up. There was also a wooden door to the 'balcony' of our room that was pushing heat in and I could see daylight around the edges. This is more of a 2 star hotel than a 5 star

The hotel is right off the main street where all the shops, food, beach and casino are located. Great location! They have a restaurant inside and the food is amazing. On checking in we were like \"oh my goodness! What are they making!?\" Literally delicious breakfast! They have a hot tub although I wish it had more bubbles lol and a small pool. They also have a small gym with everything you need to get your sweat on. The rooms were spacious and pretty clean. Some areas did have wear and tear but nothing to write about. All and all I'd stay again and again just for the french toast alone! Lol

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff was kind, it was clean, and exactly what we needed, including the pool and hot tub. There was construction happening, which is advertised on the website and meant to grow the hotel into its IHG brand. We were accommodated in a phenomenal way when we mentioned noise to staff. Truly a wonderful experience! So happy to have stayed there.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and that was not mentioned when booking. The hotel is a quaint boutique Hotel within walking distance to the beach, restaurants. I was put in the 2nd tower & was woken up by a drilling noise around 8am. I’m not one to be a Karen and just dealt with it. The rooms were comfortable, beds were perfect and AC was cold. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were exceptional.

I would not stay here if I were you. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and there was construction going on everyday that I was there. Each morning you're woken up by loud drills and banging. I can't speak to how it will be post-renovation but right now it is unfit for guests. The water was even shut off in the middle of the day one day. Completely unacceptable.

Abitta Condado was an absolute dream. It's a beautiful boutique hotel. The breakfast was recommended by the staff as well as other locations nearby. But the food, oh my goodness, you get so much. We had the chicken and waffles. That was the most incredible chicken waffle ever. Big, nice, juicy chicken breast? The waffles were topped with eggs and bacon and like a cheesecake type, Buttered syrup dressing. It was heaven and also the pancakes, the stack of pancakes. Absolutely perfect. Ordered fruit punch and use this weird refreshing, drink with watermelon and it was awesome

Mindy, who works the front desk is an absolute gem. She made checking in so easy and fun and I’ve could’ve talked to her all day. She was so helpful. The location is amazing. It’s about a two minute walk to the beach so many restaurants and shops extremely close by my only complaint would be the hotel room. The shower handle did not work very well. It either was extremely hot or barely warm and the actual lock on the door did not work at all. You do get a $25 a day a hotel voucher for the restaurant which is super nice. The breakfast was very good. There were a couple small ants in our room that I saw through our our stay in room 208. The beds were extremely comfortable, and I slept very well after enjoying our time in San Juan. All in all a good stay again big shout out to Mindy. She deserves a giant raise.

During previous stays at IHG hotels, housekeeping service was typically provided every other day. Since I arrived on Saturday, I assumed the room would be cleaned on Monday morning.

Housekeeping came to the room around 10:00 a.m. on Monday, and we informed them that we were getting ready and asked if they could return within the hour. We then left the hotel for a few hours to go to the beach. However, upon returning, we found that the room had still not been cleaned.

We went to the front desk several times regarding the issue, and eventually it got to the point where we simply requested fresh towels so we could shower and prepare for our reservations that evening.

Room wasn't ready at check in time (waited about an hr), gave us a temporary room in other building that was having construction, the shower and sink had an issue with water not draining. We were able to get the correct room the next day.
The hotel did have a restaurant and gave a voucher for each day which was nice.
Beach was a short walk and we were able to get chairs and an umbrella free.
Overall the hotel is in a good area for restaurants/beach/shops but probably wouldn't go back.

The location was ideal close to walking distance from last strip by La Concha. The hotel is adjacent to other nearby hotels so there is no parking...you would need to pay a $33/day valet parking per day which was the part I wasn't happy about. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was eclectic with modern decorations and maintained very clean. They give you a daily discount that can be used in their on property restaurant can also be used at the bar which was really nice. I gave the rating of 4/5 because of parking, and the bathroom shower handle was very loose and not working optimal and the toilet holder was broken. Otherwise, everything was really nice at this hotel it was very serene and I had great nice rest during my stay.

We had great and friendly service from all the staff. It was close to the lagoon and we enjoyed watching the manatees surface while sitting on our balcony. While the restaurant was convenient, the food was average. The property is currently under renovation which can make for some loud afternoons. Overall we were pleased.

My family and I stayed here while the kids were on spring break. It’s in a great location with lots of walkable dining options. The hotel has a restaurant as well, personally breakfast was our favorite meal there. Our room was a bit tight for a family of 4 but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The staff were extremely nice. We loved the hot tub and the pool. I would definitely come back.

So All and All are staying at the Abitta Condado was very good. Some of the problems we had were: our flight arrived very early and we were not able to check into our hotel until hours later. Secondly, I paid for breakfast, but the breakfast really came in the form of a $25 voucher for the restaurant. It barely covered enough for one person and it became more of an obligation than a Joy. The pool was excellent.

Staff was helpful in moving us to a different room after we noticed there was a window in the shower with nothing covering it. (visible to outside) Helpful also in getting us into room early and offered to let us stay past 12:00 the following day. Good breakfast, somewhat pricey, but they gave us a $25 coupon to use, so that paid for half of breakfast for 2 people. Building is old, but clean.

This property was not clean. The floors were very dirty and the hallways had dirty towels from a leak. It’s also very loud with thin walls. The latch lock on the door was hanging by one screw. I would not recommend this hotel.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever been.
The walls are cardboard, I listen to loud, drunk, people walking by the halls during night. At morning I had a door that opened and close, right by my room, making a loud noise since very early, making impossible to sleep.
The shower didnt have s decent curtain, making the whole bathroom wet.
I even had a reservation for an extra night and cancelled it.

Pro’s: Affordable price. $25 food voucher per day (can be used for breakfast, lunch, or dinner). Free towels, chairs and umbrellas at the beach front. Beach is very close by, maybe 3 min walking. Local hotels have servers at the beach that will bring you drinks and food. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff is sweet, friendly and accommodating. Many restaurants close by within walking distance.

Cons: Security latch inside the room was broken, but the room had a 2nd lock so it was fine. Elevator was out of order due to water damage. The floor in the room was a little dirty, you can tell it wasn’t swept. The hotel overall is a bit outdated and needs repairs, but they were doing some renovations while we were there so hopefully this will help. Also, the room was damp, so you can tell they don’t have the best ventilation system. Lots of construction happening on the roads near the hotel.

The staff is great! Alanna at the front desk is welcoming and helpful the moment you want in. Tony at the bar makes the best pina colada’s and local recommendations in town. Also David the Operations manager is lovely to work with.

The hotel is actively being renovated so something to keep in mind. We were placed in one of the older rooms but still had everything we needed. The pool and gym were really nice and restaurant is excellent, it’s a must try!
