This property was not clean. The floors were very dirty and the hallways had dirty towels from a leak. It’s also very loud with thin walls. The latch lock on the door was hanging by one screw. I would not recommend this hotel.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever been.
The walls are cardboard, I listen to loud, drunk, people walking by the halls during night. At morning I had a door that opened and close, right by my room, making a loud noise since very early, making impossible to sleep.
The shower didnt have s decent curtain, making the whole bathroom wet.
I even had a reservation for an extra night and cancelled it.

The staff was very pleasant. Our AC was not working so they did offer a discount. This was a destination for Spring Breakers so it was very loud every night from 2-3am.

Pro’s: Affordable price. $25 food voucher per day (can be used for breakfast, lunch, or dinner). Free towels, chairs and umbrellas at the beach front. Beach is very close by, maybe 3 min walking. Local hotels have servers at the beach that will bring you drinks and food. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff is sweet, friendly and accommodating. Many restaurants close by within walking distance.

Cons: Security latch inside the room was broken, but the room had a 2nd lock so it was fine. Elevator was out of order due to water damage. The floor in the room was a little dirty, you can tell it wasn’t swept. The hotel overall is a bit outdated and needs repairs, but they were doing some renovations while we were there so hopefully this will help. Also, the room was damp, so you can tell they don’t have the best ventilation system. Lots of construction happening on the roads near the hotel.

The gym is small, limited in space and equipment. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so the amenities in the rooms and just overall infrastructure of the hotel was subpar. Although it's worth mentioning the staff that greeted us upon check-in were super friendly and helpful.

The staff is great! Alanna at the front desk is welcoming and helpful the moment you want in. Tony at the bar makes the best pina colada’s and local recommendations in town. Also David the Operations manager is lovely to work with.

The hotel is actively being renovated so something to keep in mind. We were placed in one of the older rooms but still had everything we needed. The pool and gym were really nice and restaurant is excellent, it’s a must try!

Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but due to how busy the hotel was, we were asked to wait and come back later. We didn’t end up getting into our room until around 6:30–7:00 PM, which was a bit frustrating after traveling.

That said, the hotel itself was clean and the room was decent overall. One issue we ran into was the shower door. It didn’t seal properly, so water would leak out and leave the bathroom floor soaking wet after each use.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the location. It’s in a great spot and made getting around very convenient.

Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences, but the delayed check-in and bathroom issue are worth noting.

The hotel was amazing. I loved my room, i didnt realize id have a cute little balcony watching over the cruise ships in the distance! What i loved most was Mindy! She was amazing. I needed something printed out and a came down at like 9:40pm. First off Mindy remembered my name, i was so surprised. Then her printer wasnt working, but she did everything necessary to make sure i got my paperwork. She ended up having to go to the hotel across the street to get their email and print it over there. I appreciate her so much for that. And this all took place right before she was suppose to clock out i felt so bad. But she got it done!! Love you Mindy <3 ill definitely be back to this hotel

Didn’t get in the pool or Jacuzzi. The front desk workers were very helpful. If you arrive early before your check in time don’t expect to get a room until original time. You can drop your luggage at the hotel and go to the beach or whatever until your room is ready. They do have lounge chairs, umbrellas at the beach.

The beds were hard and our bathroom smelled like sewerage. Not sure what it was or what was happening. Did see some workers doing something but whatever it was it didn’t fix the smell that was coming out the shower.
The facility was overall clean and the breakfast was good.

This was a gem. An older but nicely renovated hotel with a funky vibe. Great work out room and nice pool area. The restaurant/bar was very nice as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, holding our luggage as we arrived before check in. We were able to walk the neighborhood with no luggage lugging behind us.
Just beware though that there is a $40 per day hotel fee which was not mentioned beforehand and was a surprise to us.

The staff was excellent. Every one of the staff we interacted with were really great. The internet was ok. The gaps in between the tiles in our room were lumpy concrete. No closet or true hanging space at all. Room was looking over trash. No view of anything decent. No decent lighting in our room. Really odd boutique style to halls and room, that just didn't work. The shower in our room had mildew and drained way too slow. The outside space (pool/jacuzzi) was super small but beautiful.

The Pool was okay a little dirty one thing I didn’t like about the hotel there was no microwave in our room. But everything else was great. I booked this hotel through Expedia stated it was breakfast included, but it’s not we had to pay but they do give you a $25 card and you pay the difference.

The pool/hot tub was enjoyable. However, the location of the pool surrounded by all the high-rise buildings only allowed for a few hours of sunshine daily.
The staff were amazing, especially Mindy and Alana. They helped me out tremendously above and beyond.
The hotel was under remodeling which made it inconvenient and noisy at times. They did provide me with another room which offered me much more quietness and peace!
The onsite restaurant lacked in a few areas. The menu was limited and certain items were not available more than once. However, they were generous with a $25 daily voucher that could be applied to your food purchase, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, this was a very accommodating and pleasant vacation experience. Thank you Abitta!!

The pictures were definitely generous. It was fine, but the air conditioner was really loud and really cold so it would kick on loudly, and ice the room out basically every few minutes. There was no in between. Also, during a rain storm, we wanted to relax in the room and wait out the storm, but there was really loud construction going on basically right next door. It was impossible to relax. On top of that, basically every night, drunk kids would run down the hallways. Some of the outlets didn’t work and the fixtures were hanging off the wall. We had a “city view” which meant our balcony was over an alley, above a dumpster and we could hear the loud disposal of heavy trash bags being thrown into those dumpsters at night when we weren’t hearing drunk people yelling at each other on neighboring balconies. It just wasn’t what I was expecting for the price. The staff was absolutely lovely and it was very clean, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to any concerns or needs I had. My television did not work my entire day and my humidifier kept going out. When I made them aware of this issue, they fixed it. My room also had mold in it, and they were able to clean the room. I also found my balcony door very hard to use so I wasn’t able to enjoy that. The location is convenient because there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Upon your arrival at this hotel, you learn that you have a $25 credit to be used at their on site restaurant. they also are very close to the beach and at that beach you will have access to beach umbrellas and chairs. I love that their pool area was open very early until 11 PM. I found the dinner staff to be very friendly however, the morning and lunch staff were a bit off putting . I attempted to get lunch before the restaurant closed and was told they were no longer operating for service at 1:15 when it closes at 2! It also suggested to sit at the bar rather than a table since I was solo or come back another time. I was definitely charged for a filet mignon and received another steak cut. The other food and my nights I ate dinner there were very good! One of the waiters very friendly ( a bald man) suggested a book store to me in the area that I could visit and always welcomed customers every night with a smile! The morning crew had a young gentleman with a ponytail and glasses he was also very warm and welcoming to customers.

Our check in process was really disorganized. At times, some of the staff members were rude. I really didn’t want to write the review because overall the staff members were really nice and helpful but one in particular not so much. I give that staff member grace too because, it was obvious that the person was having a rough moment. The check-in line was long and full of frustrated patrons. The property itself was okay. The restaurant food was delicious. The location was great and very walkable. Overall, it was a good value.

Our accommodations were located in room 502, and upon arrival, it was evident that the bathroom shower had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our occupancy, as remnants of old conditioner and soap scum were visible on the shower door. Furthermore, the shower head appeared to have been neglected for an extended period, possibly exceeding a month. The door consistently stuck when attempting to open and close it. The room would greatly benefit from a fresh coat of paint. It is worth noting that Mindy and the other staff members we interacted with were exceptionally friendly. However, the restaurant's pricing was excessive in relation to the menu offerings, although the kitchen staff were very friendly. Overall, I would not consider returning until the hotel undergoes comprehensive updates. Nevertheless, I must reiterate that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Lord a lot it was hard to get anything at times. The food downstairs is good the , staff all over the hotel is very nice , but they seem to not be able to please your needs , the issues our safe did not work and never was fixed therefore had to carry valuables everywhere , the bathroom had a leak everyday behind the sink , the room was moist which kept our dry clothes moist due to condensation if you shut off AC for a few moments, the light over bed didn't work , but we didn't complain about that forgot too , remote was not working but was fixed later that night , leak was never fixed even though he came out it still leaked after we asked for our room to be cleaned every day we came back bed was made and every single time don't know why towels , tissue , bath soap was never restocked we had to ask for it and then had to wait or was forgotten and yes sometime we called them and yes they came but sometime took hours or next day to come , lastly I was mad I could not us the hot tub as it was EXTREMLY HOT COULDNT BE USED BY ANYONE AND I LOVE HOT WATER.
I mentioned it to 2 staffers 2 different days and they state if they can find a way to make that work they would be a better stay cause i really like the hotel and the area and the staff Yes I will still go back and give them a 2nd chance ooo you get 25 dollar off your meal a day and food its great !!!!

I paid for a junior suite with double beds. The photo looked great. Abita called me that they had an issue with the room but that they would be remunerating me for the inconvenience. I thought the price would be much, much lower. That wasn't the case. They dismissed the $50 fees Abitta charges, but claimed they could do nothing else. Expedia is supposed to correct the total. The room was tiny, hooks for clothing were unreachable for a 5'5' person. The service at the restaurant was abysmal. They never brought my food. My friend and I had to share her pasta and salad. In total, not deserving of a $400 fee.

Staff was great. We didn’t get the room we booked, though. Booked a king city view and got a room with two doubles and a view of a building wall. This is not the first time that hotels.com has messed up our accommodations. I paid a higher amount for this room and was not offered a reimbursement. I will not use hotels.com (which records as Expedia) again. They should terminate this relationship if they cannot deliver what the customer books.

Ended up in a 1st floor room that reeked of cigarette smoke. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and gave us another room.
The hot water did not work in the room in the morning. Front desk was zero help.
Room floors were dirty and they shouldn’t even bother with balconies on the back side looking at an alley way full of trash!

They were friendly and allowed us to check in early. For the price, the coffee machine should work in the room, and offer more than 1 regular cup of coffee. There was no coffee in the lobby either, and the restaurant was not open to buy coffee when I woke up. I actually had instant coffee with me, but no microwave in the room. It did have a safe which given the choice, I prefer.
The hot tub was foggy and lukewarm. Otherwise, had this been priced $100 less it would have been acceptable. The sheets were clean, as was the comfortable room. Understaffed yet very friendly. The breakfast was good, but again, overpriced. We ate inland and were spoiled by portions, flavor & local's prices, but again good.

This a mixed bag for me.

Cons:
-I booked through Expedia. I wanted to change the reservation to make it one day shorter. Expedia wanted to add $800 to the cost of the trip plus charge a one-day fee. NONE of this is disclosed.
Tina at Abitta tried to help but that problem was with Expedia.
-The breakfast plan is a voucher you get for the restaurant next door. There is only one item on the menu it covers. The meal was eggs, choice of meat, white toast, fried tator tots and one cup of coffee. Anything else you have to pay for.
-My safe did not work properly. I couldn't use a combination. They gave me a key for it instead.
-For the first couple of days, the wi-fi in my room was so weak it was unusable. I told the front desk about it and they said they would have IT people come and check it. I asked my nextdoor neighbor and it turns out he was using a different network. It worked great. Don't know why the front desk didn't suggest that.
-Housekeeping was uneven. I didn't have any for the first couple of days. They gave me a sign to put on the door but even that didn't always work.
-Elevator broke twice. Five flights of stairs is tough with a bad knee. They got it fixed pretty quickly, though.

Pros:
-Staff was universally very nice and tried to help.
-My room had character, a nice view, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. It was quiet and I was very comfortable there.
-Good location.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the one I had with a balcony had a view of a wall of another building an an alley. The sink was leaking water from the bottom of the base they came to look at it don’t know what they did because I wasn’t in the room when they came it was still leaking a little bit. I had to put a small towel to prevent it from spreading in the whole bathroom.The pool is nice but it’s small and there’s no sun that hits the pool area to catch a tan the food in the restaurant is good. The staff are very polite and courteous.

i went alone for my birthday in november i loved the staff they were so welcoming and they explained everything throughly and i felt very safe. the pool was very clean and the hottub i couldnt stay out of it. everyday my room was cleaned and none of my stuff ended up missing i was leaving my suitcase wide up too. all the excursions was close to the hotel and the ubers was so cheap nothing over 20 dollars i loved it and ill be back
