THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN,
VERY MOLDY, UNSANITORY, SERVICE WAS TABLE,

MY WIFE HAD TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM BECAUSE OF THE MOLD,
NO MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR CALLED TO SEE HOW WE WERE DOING.

IMAGINE NO HOT CUPS FOR COFFEE OR TEA. I WAS TOLD TO USE THE PLASTIC CUPS.
HAD TO PARK A MILE AWAY AND WALK FROM THE PARKING

IF I DONT GET REINBURSED FO THIS , IM GOING TO SEEK LEGAL ADVISE. RIDICULOUS!

The only positive part of this hotel was the view. Beyond that, it was a massive disappointment and definitely not worth the price. The room felt incredibly old-fashioned and outdated. Worse, there were clear maintenance issues: the shower door was damaged and the balcony glass was actually broken, which felt like a safety hazard. I won’t be staying here again.

The view was great but the cleaning was terrible. I like to be barefoot and for my surprise they were black of the dirt of the floor. Also, they retained my security deposit saying that I damage the room strange because I only slept and took a bath,almost never there.

It was gross. The room was dirty we couldn’t walk barefoot. The bathroom was disgusting I had to clean the toilet before settling in. The shower walls were gross. Everything had rust. The bedsheets smelled so bad. The towels had brown stains on them. The mirrors were dirty. I wish I can get my money back. We had to keep ourselves busy OUTSIDE and just get back to shower and sleep bc of how disgustingly it was we didn’t want to spend time there. The breakfast was stale. There was no microwave available. The lady at check in couldn’t wait to go back to sleep. It was awful. I will never stay there again.

Place was a mess. Dust everywhere. Mold on the bathroom and the smell of mold on the room, place smelled like wet carpet. Damaged furniture and stains on the sheets. Also no on site parking. Parking is 15$ a day and is a 10min walk from hotel. Parking does not have an elevator either so if you dont find a spot on the first floor good luck (no handicap access)

The top view was amazing. I think if it weren't for the view, it would have been a poor stay. The room is a good size. But everything is outdated. But the balcony view was amazing!! We spent our time in the hotel there. They have breakfast, but it's very minimal. It was very near the ocean. It took us about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to it. We used UBER and scooters to get around. Not many places to eat or shop nearby. But if you UBER about 10 minutes away, you will find a lot of restaurants.

1st when I arrived, the parking is confusing and away from the hotel. If you are disabled or have small children, or forget something in your vehicle it will be a long walk to and from. 2nd, breakfast is bagels, dry cereal, bad coffee, a few slices of orange and grapes on a patio covered with birds trying to steal your food. 3rd, trash cans were rusty, the bathroom fixtures are all rusty looking, the walls in the room were so dirty, the carpet has not been cleaned in so long that I had dirty feet walking to and from the bathroom to the bed area, the sheets were stained, shower door did not appear to be cleaned. 4th, when I went to check out of the hotel, I had to wait 15 minutes because the front cleark went to lunch. I told the security guy that I need to check out because I had to go catch a flight. He stated that there was nothing he could do that I had to wait until she gets back from lunch. I took pictures of the room. Sorry, i will not back to this hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel. Front Desk Service: On my first day, the front desk agent was very friendly to the guest before me, but her attitude changed when it was my turn. She failed to give me the required parking sticker, which almost caused me to pay parking fee twice. I had to walk back from the parking garage to the hotel to get it resolved. Room: The room was spacious, had a refrigerator, and offered a beautiful ocean view. However, it smelled musty, the bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows were too soft. The air conditioner made noise but did not cool the room, making the last night very uncomfortable.
Breakfast: Very limited—bread, cereal, coffee, tea, and muffins. Don’t choose this hotel expecting a full breakfast. Positives: Great location near many attractions in San Juan, beautiful waterfront views, nearby beach access, good TV channels.

Aliarse con los locales cercanos para uso de piscina como se unieron con el estacionamiento de paseo caribe a $15.00 por día. En el desayuno colocar jamón y queso, muy simple el desayuno continental. Céntrico entre viejo San Juan y condado. Colocar cuatro almohadas en las camas king para uno no tener que pedirlas. Tener un housekeeping en la noche- madrugada.

The lobby is on the second floor of a locked building, yet you need a key to get inside. The security guard wouldn't let us in. The hotel feels like a prison. The room was nice enough, but the bed had no sheets and only one small scratchy blanket. Location is okay. I only stayed here one night to be close to the airport. Stay someplace better.

Room advertised as king bed with hot tub and there was no hot tub or even jetted tub. went down to lobby to ask about it, and was told that they will let managemebt know, but that we were are in the correct room. Breakfast was not great. Cereal and fruit and croissants...no protein at all. Our room was cleaned but bedding not changed for the entire week. staff was super friendly and courteous though.

The location is good. The hotel condition, cleanliness, and service are very poor. The bed in my room had no cover sheets when I checked in. Daily service never provided face towels. Carpet, chair fabric, and sofa fabric were dirty.

I will never stay here again and would not recommend to anyone.

So, I didn’t like there was no pool! Then the breakfast could have more like some sort of hot food, like eggs and some sort of meat. The broken tiles in the elevators I wasn’t happy with. Then no one would come clean, my room. I had to put my garbage and dirty towels outside the room, and go downstairs to front desk 3x for toilet tissue because no one was check or even vacuum my room or change my sheets on my bed, another thing they had not enough wash clothes for the people in my room from day one. Sometimes we had none, Other than that it was ok, the balcony was the best part, no movies available like Netflix to log into your acct or Prime to log into. The ocean right in front was nice.

Mi experiencia en Costa Bahía fue sumamente decepcionante y está muy lejos de lo que uno espera por las tarifas que cobran. Entiendo perfectamente que se trata de una propiedad con varios años de operación, pero la antigüedad no puede utilizarse como excusa para justificar la falta de mantenimiento, la falta de limpieza y la pobre atención a los problemas reportados por los huéspedes.Desde la primera noche informamos que el aire acondicionado de la habitación no estaba enfriando adecuadamente. El problema fue reportado en tres ocasiones distintas al personal de Front Desk durante nuestra estadía. En cada oportunidad nos indicaron que enviarían a un técnico, pero nunca apareció nadie. Pasamos toda la estancia con el mismo problema sin que el hotel mostrara el más mínimo interés en resolverlo o darle seguimiento.La habitación en general daba una impresión de no suciedad y descuido. Utilizamos el café de cortesía la primera mañana y nunca volvió a ser repuesto. El baño lucía sucio constantemente y daba la impresión de que la limpieza era superficial o inexistente. Los accesorios y elementos del baño presentan signos evidentes de oxidación y deterioro que reflejan años de falta de mantenimiento.Otro aspecto inaceptable fue la ropa de cama. Había una sola colcha por cama para dos personas. Desde el primer día solicitamos dos adicionales y, al igual que ocurrió con el aire acondicionado, jamás las llevaron. 1/5 - Serious maintenance issues despite friendly staff
I stayed at Costa Bahia Hotel in San Juan. Although staff is quite friendly and helpful, the condition of the hotel itself was unacceptable. We arrived on day 1 to find no running water in our room.
The issues didn’t stop there:
• Carpet was very dirty, if you step om the carpet your feet would turn black
• Furniture is extremely outdated and worn down
• Bathtub drain cover was falling out and the tub itself was dirty
• Shower had visible mold/mildew and felt unsanitary
• General cleanliness and maintenance were well below standard
The staff tried their best and were courteous, but no amount of good service makes up for no running water and a moldy bathroom. For the price, I expected basic functioning plumbing and a clean room. Management needs to address serious maintenance and housekeeping issues. We would not stay here again.

Totalmente desilucionada. Una propiedad muy bien ubicada, pero bien falta de mantenimiento. Desde el momento de la reserva y mediante dos llamadas posteriores se solicitó que las habitaciones se conectaran (reservé dos habitaciones) al momento del registro las habitaciones no se conectaban. El personal del recepcion no hizo ningun gesto de solucionar la situacion, simplemente se limitaron a decir que no habia disponibilidad. La logística desde el estacionamiento hasta la propiedad fatal, una travesia larga.
Ambas habitaciones tenian un fuerte olor a humedad, el calentador de agua de una de ellas no funcionaba, el area de lava manos de una de ella estaba inclinado (se podia caer), una de las habitaciones no tenia silla en area de escritorio ni butaca en la habitacion, solo las camas, hubo que solicitar toallas y sabanas adicionales ya que no eran suficientes para todos.
La persona a cargo de limpiar la habitacion fue muy atenta y diligente, al igual que el personal en el area de desayuno.

The room was very clean but it did have a humid smell. The staff was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. They’re available 24/7! We had a great view from our room. The A/C was always on which was great dude to the humidity outside, and u had the ability to change temp if u liked. The mirror in the restroom was a little oxidized but other than that everything was great. Also the room had a kitchenette which came in handy!

Mystery stain in the bathroom
Thread-bare blanket on the bed with no top sheet.
Stains on the carpet.
Hard to find the entrance, and the front dest is on the second floor.

We checked out immediately and went to the Caribe Hilton (4 minute walk from this property. When we checked out, the staff even understood why.

I've been working with Expedia to get a refund, and the property is not helpful in getting a resolution. Won't answer the phone. or won't respond to email. Just getting the run around.

Truly, this property should be inspected by the governing health authorities, and then shut down.

The location of the Hotel is prime. Good breakfast on a terrace with breathtaking view of Condado snd ocean. The only thing that was not convenient was the parking situation. I had to park at a multilevel garage nearby and walk. Tip: leave luggage at checking, park and then come back for your luggage. And also validate your parking ticket either with security on 1st level or reception.

It smelled like mold, my friend & and I instantly had runny/stuffy noses and I was very congested. When we went out our symptoms went away but coming back it appears again. Gave it one night hoping our symptoms would go away but it didn’t so we requested a refund and were going to find different accommodations but of course it was rejected. Then housekeeping threw away my medical retainers that I put in a paper cup on the desk to clean them. Curtains and bed sheets had stains. We put the temp at 80 degrees and it was still really cold at night. Blankets were thin with only a sheet. Requested more blankets and we only got one. Housekeeping came to give us more towels but it was visible we had zero toilet paper & they didn’t even give us any toilet paper, we had to go ask.

This property is HORRIBLE! There is a plumbing issue. The toilet didn’t work. Our room was on the 7th floor & when we needed to go to the bathroom, we had to go to public toilets on the 4th floor. There is mold all over the bathroom. The only thing good about the room was the view of the beach.

The hotel is in a perfect location near mostly everything and have views to die for. It definitely is very outdated and the AC in the room wasn’t the best but at least it was clean and honestly that didn’t bother as much. Check in was good and easy, called the front desk once and they told me they would send someone to bring what I asked for but they never came and tried calling a couple times and no one answered and that was super rude and disrespectful is like they didn’t want to do the job they’re getting paid to do!!!! Parking situation is a bit confusing and the security staff is a bit rude (not all). Breakfast is ok but could be better.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re a clean person. This is the first time I’m leaving a negative review on any site. Normally I’ll just make a decision, to not come back. However the floors in the rooms are beyond filthy. You definitely have to wear slippers, if not your feet would be dirty after taking three steps. The tiles were slippery and felt like I was at an ice-skating rink, and the rug was just filthy beyond max. No microwave just a mini fridge. One of the curtains had a rip in it. Another thing, parking is very inconvenient. It’s about a 7 to 8 minute drive to the parking garage and then when you find parking it’s like a seven minute walk back to the hotel, going up and down steps. Elevators. It just sucked. Parking is not included, you have to pay for parking. The sheets to the bed had stains on them. I couldn’t believe it. And the way they have it set up. Hardly nobody is downstairs at the desk. You have to go to the second floor for customer service, if you wanted breakfast it’s on the fourth floor or if you want ice and breakfast wasn’t even all that.

The only good thing I can say is the view from the balcony if you could see the sea from your balcony that was a beautiful view but balcony was dirty as well. And at least the air conditioning worked.

Got there and it had only 2 pillows on king bed, no stopper for the tub that my wife couldn’t enjoy a nice bubble bath, no wash clothes.

For a 5 day stay there was no replenishments of coffee and creamer, mold on the floor in front of mini refrigerator, we had to slam the bathroom door to close it, there was 1 bowl & 1 fork

Ultimately the only good thing was the view!

The location was good and the view was amazing. The hotel need to be renovated. The beds was comfortable, and it was no fitted sheets and not enough towels.
