Location is pretty good, and the staff weee very helpful. The only downside: I stayed for 3 nights. One of the nights, the next door restaurant-bar, or whatever it is, had super loud music/bass booming until 1:00am. It was very hard to sleep that night.

The room was clean and comfortable; however we woke up to no running water in the bathroom. Too bad i found out after the release of my dinner at 7 a.m. I see someone cleaning the rooms and ask about the water, but he isn't fluent in English and shows me a message on his phone that the whole building water was off and they had no idea on when it would come back on. We go to the front desk where we checked in to report the problem and were informed that they no longer manage the property and we need to reach out to the owner. Our flight leaves at noon and we have no idea of how were going to take a shower. Front desk staff tells us we can use the public bathroom to wash up in the sink and brush our teeth....won't get me twice

It was okay, it did what it needed to do, comfortable clean bed linens. Instructions for checking in can be a bit more clear. There was a weekend street party and it had a barricade to enter the parking lot which required you to manually open and close the entrance to the parking section. That was a bit frustrating after a while. The hotel room was a bit small for two adults but overall it was a decent stay.

When we arrived everything was clean and easy to access, the parking was a little confusing the first time but after that it was ok. The only thing was I was not able to use the TV because there was no remote, I tried to contact staff and was told they would send someone with one but never got it. Also not enough toilet paper. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and felt safe in the hotel and area as well. We would stay again.

El personal del front desk fue muy amable. La puerta no abrio con el codigo,hubo q llamar para q trajeran una llave pero resolvieron rápido. La television no tenia control. Y el lavamano estaba tapado. La limpieza estaba bien. El parking era pequeño pero accesible ya q en esa area muchos hoteles no cuentan con parking. En general estuvo bien.

I have a terrible experience. I have to be in a place at 8 AM. At that morning I wake up 6:30 AM when I tried to go take a shower. The water was so horrible cold I called to from desk and they can’t do nothing.to fix the temperature of the water

La habitación estaba sucia, nos quedamos 3 días y ni servicio de limpieza tenía. Había una tele pero no nos dejaron el control. Cuando fuimos a pedir nos dijeron que al día siguiente y nada de nuevo, tuvimos que pedir a otro personal y nos dijo que nadie había hecho el pedido. La seguridad por lo menos es buena en el sentido de que te dan un código para el portón y luego para tu habitación, pero lo demás deja mucho que desear

When I arrived the room was okay needed sweep and mopping but very nice for the price and location. Was not happy with the quality of the house keeping I arrived on may 4th till the 14th and never had my bed sheets changed had to go get towels and toilet paper from the main office removed my own trash air conditioner was great and parking was available but not clean or close to the room

We had delays and contacted the hotel to let them know we will be coming a day later. Hotel never sent a code to enter the facility. There is no direct contact to management. We were taken for our money and never stayed in the hotel that we booked on Expedia. This facility needs to be reported and investigated. Do not book a reservation here you will end up stranded on the street. We had to book other hotels for the rest of the week. I will be looking for a refund.

When I arrived the first day I called the property to express that there was no remote in the room
For the tv and every day I called i was told they would send one and i never received one . They also don’t include that the hot water is solar so it doesn’t get hot until about afternoon/night time. They say that they are available until 10pm
But when I called @7pm they said staff was already gone . Trying to get replacement towels or sheets were like pulling teeth . 10/10 wouldn’t recommend if you are traveling with kids maybe by yourself. Overall the property was alright i definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

The check-in process was confusing and poorly managed. Despite the hotel listing stating that \"Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival,\" this was not the case. I also received several unprofessional requests for payment information via message; as a security precaution, I do not share sensitive financial data through unverified channels.

While the property is well-located and easy to find, the room quality was unacceptable:

Hygiene: The floors were sticky in several spots.

Essentials: The room was not stocked with toilet paper.

Security: Most concerningly, the room door did not lock. I was forced to carry all my valuables with me every time I left the room.

To conclude my stay, I left a hat in the room and called ahead to arrange a pickup. When I arrived, nothing had been coordinated. After waiting 20 minutes for staff to contact maintenance, I was told the item could not be found.

Due to the lack of basic security and poor communication, I cannot recommend this stay. Overall: 1 out of 5.

I wish I could remember the name of the person that helped us, but he actually walked over from the office to open the door cause we were not understanding how the second door opened, which was simple, but he came and walked us through process. Friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend and go again 😊

Staff was relatively quiet and kept to themselves as to not bother guest. But also maintained many properties in the area. The hotel was quaint but these stairs were quite the workout. Not an idea space for anyone with handicap needs or disabilities. Be sure to communicate with staff for parking permits and request extra towels ahead of time. Overall a great experience and no more than a 15-20 minute walk to viejo San Juan

An OK place to stay. Parking is very limited. It is self check in/out. During the week it is quiet, but Saturday/Sunday nights are very noisy due to the local nightlife activities at the bars. Overall a 7 out of 10. Rooms are small but adequate.

This property was a quick one night stay for my husband and I on our way to another place the next day. It was perfect for the two of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the air worked great, the shower was spacious, and the inclusion of a mini fridge was wonderful for keeping our bottled water cold!

I waited like four hours to get into this property. I want a refund couldn’t stay cause there was bugs. Couldn’t even turn the TV on had to book another room. after like three hours, they gave me a code for a door that needed it key. It was ridiculous. Could not use credit cards in the area. Had to go to an ATM. I’m trying to figure out if I was double charged right now.

If you have luggage don't bother with this hotel. We chose it because of its proximity to the cruise port but they have no stairs and the office is not located in the same building and we had to roll our luggage down broken sidewalks.You have to sign a waiver that you understand that the place has no stairs. My poor husband had to tote all the luggage up the stairs and down the next morning. It was clean and the lady that ran the desk was friendly, but I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights. The bed and room were clean and comfortable. The TV was nice and worked great with Netflix and other apps. Great air conditioning. The front desk agents were nice and easy to reach. Free parking was appreciated.

Those are the only positives I can come up with.

There isn't hot water in the showers. It gets like room temperature at best. I complained to the front desk but they just told me to let it run for a long time to see if it would get hot. It never did. They did offer to send up a maintenance person, and I let them try to fix it one time. No improvement. Based upon the number of reviews that say there's no hot water, I'm pretty sure they can't do anything and it's actually just a problem with the way that the solar hot water system is set up. Unacceptable for the price of the hotel room.

The hotel is next to a night club so you can hear loud music and people yelling until early morning hours on the weekend.

The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable.

It's in a pretty bad location, too. For one, there really isn't anything to do in the area. There are a couple restaurants, but those that are open have very limited hours. Additionally, the area seems to be a bit unsafe. I'm not just saying that as a sheltered American, some of the locals we spoke to said to be careful because we were staying in an unsafe area. The rooms themselves are behind a locked gate and a locked door to get into the building, so that helped us feel safe in our hotel room.

The place was a dump. The pictures of the building and rooms are 100% fake. The building is on a hill that you have to walk to from a separate building where you check in. The sidewalks are cracked, broken, uneven, and pitted. Hell of a walk with suitcases. The room was tiny with no where to put luggage much less any room to walk around the bed. I’m not even sure the room was cleaned. There was a little packet for cotton balls, nail file and ? that was open and laying on a little table in the corner. We kept the curtain closed so the person on a balcony across the street could not see in. Definitely not worth $228 especially having to climb narrow stairs to the 3rd floor with all our luggage. On Sunday there were piles of sheets and towels wrapped in plastic and blocking the way on the landings as we tried to get out of the building. We know from talking with others on the cruise that there were more affordable and much nicer places in Old San Juan with lots of amenities. Live and learn.

First receptionist was sort of rude maybe is their culture. But the worse was the room my closest is bigger one small night stand, no room for even the suitcase. What really bothered me all the rules they place on the room. Can’t use washcloths to clean face gave us two small packets to wipe face but were dry or get charge $35, can’t flush paper on toilet get fine to unclog, there were so many rules but the worse was the room look like they were doing construction on it. Not happy at all. The room was $210 per night.

Wow where do I start? The room was TINY and had no balcony and barely any windows. There was NO HOT WATER and the hotel explained to us that it was because it was solar powered heating and that the sun had not been out enough, but this is truly unacceptable. The check in person was aloof and didnt help with our luggage which we had to carry 3 floors since there is no elevator. To top it all off, the windows dont have screens so if you want fresh air you will be bitten ny mosquitos all night. Oh and they didnt clean our rooms or provide maid service even though we stayed two nights. We had to ask for fresh towels. Awful from start to finish.

The hotel is overpriced in our opinion. No elevator and basic services only. It shares reception with a hostel and has a bit of a hostel feel. The double bed was fairly small for two adults. For the same price, which was over $200 for a night, we generally get a better quality hotel.

Area was less than safe. The room was very small. No elevator, had to carry luggage up and down stairs. No nearby restaurants or stores. The shower did not have hot water. It was warm at best. The furniture was in poor conditions. Could not flush toilet paper. Had to put used toilet paper in the trash. The check-in was two blocks from the actual room. I do not recommend this hotel.

The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing. Our first night, we were placed in a TINY room that didnt reflect the pics. The manager was gracious and moved us to a better room the next night. No hot water was available and the AC was either full on and freezing or had to turn off. The only saving grace was the staffs kindness.

The front dest rep was stoned or on some sort of drugs and completely out of it. It took him like 25 minutes to check us in and when we asked for a blanket, he wanted to charge us for it. The room was right next to the night club where you could hear the super loud music making it impossible to sleep or rest. We prayed for it to close which it did at 1 am. There was also no hot water; it was barely lukewarm. Even the shampoo and soap at the hotel were terrible quality. The room had no window. The photos of the room have nothing to do with reality - the room is old and tiny with almost nothing in it. All in all, one of the worst stays we’ve had.
