The Hotel Aura House was clean and in an excellent location. However, the AC wasn't working and we had to sleep the first night without AC with an 83F temperature.
I am grateful that Hotels.com helped us out and they changed the Hotel for Us to Bali Posh Hotel, that was an upgraded stay. Thank you.

I paid $225 per night for six nights to not have my bed and towels changed at all. Other guests or people outside fighting and yelling most of the nights. No air conditioning, just waking up in a sweat. Water not hot in the shower. Constant water running from the roof outside my door, and animals waking me up every morning at 4:00am. Aura House, Isa Verde, Puerto Rico is the worst place to stay.

Not worth the price at all. Very poor condition of the space. I called to change the bathroom shampoo bottles they came and again same issue. Lots of rooms don’t even have the window on the room. There is no one to guard the building. Guests were fighting overnight and drunk people would come in during the night which would make it impossible to sleep during the night. Really a NEVER AGAIN type of choice again.

No employees on site in the afternoon. The housekeeper was very friendly. The T.V. in 2 of the 3 rooms we booked for our group did not work

The A/C wasn’t not the best. It was very hot in the room and at times outside felt cooler. Not sure what happened but half way through our stay the bathroom light went out and the main light got dimmer. Also certain outlets stopped working as well. It never came back on nor got fixed the rest of our stay. Overall if you are looking for cheap travel/stay it was okay

Great location. Tucked away in a quiet, safe cul-de-sac, this boutique hotel is ideal for a beachcomber who loves \"la playa.\" But there were lots of renovations going on and the rooftop jacuzzis were out of commission -- bummer! Still, staff was responsive and helpful.

I would most definitely stay again due to the fact the location is great and the room was clean ….. My problems was the gap under the door allowed the GEICO’s to come in the room the bath towels where very hard like sand paper the noise that the staff makes in the morning will wake you up I had to get out the shower with not much running water to tell the housekeeper I don’t need service before she walks in the room the door would not lock on it’s on the first day it’s hard to get in contact with someone from the property they should add a chair in the room so you won’t have to sit on the bed they require you not to touch the a/c unit so it was so cold in the room other than that it’s a great location and very convenient

The bathroom was too small. The rooms were not as shown on Expedia but is was okay but not the best. I wish there was a better form to get in contact with them as we did struggle to find the location of the e place. I did enjoy the privacy that we were given there.

The place is a dump. It's smelled like a wet towel There was a stain on the floor when you first walk into the building. There's green rug outside, and it smells like cat. Urine. There was fleas in the room. I cannot stay there. I had to immediately leave and go to a different hotel. This place was horrible. I won't even let my dog stay the night over there.
The door was sketchy. You can see the light from outside from the door there was a piece of hair in this sink.
There was nothing good to say about this place. I would never stay there or recommend anybody to stay there. That place should be shut down for the way it looks and smells. There is a light in the hallway for the room.It's hanging there with no light bulb hardware, just showing very dark at night.On a very quiet street.But looks sketchy.The address was wrong on the confirmation.For the booking and it was hard to find.Not having the correct number, I would tell everyone not to stay here.I couldn't even stay the night.It was so bad with the smell.I was there, not even ten minutes and had to leave

Location is amazing! There were two of us and the beds were big enough. The problem is they took up the whole space! You can’t even open the bathroom door to get into the bathroom without it hitting the bed. The shower never got hot. I don’t even think it ever got warm! It definitely didn’t get warm lol.

MY FRIEND GOT LOCKED in the BATHROOM!!!! so she got locked in the bathroom, the water was cold, and there was no space! Other than that, the location is perfect

This place has a lot of questionable reviews but I really have no complaints. The room was nice, very clean and no issues there. Kind of small but it’s a budget room. The facility is nice and was calm through my stay. Housekeeping showed up in the mornings and you can request if they come or not through text. I asked for new towels and they were delivered immediately without issue. Power was on, water was hot, I really have zero complaints. I recommend this place if you’re looking to spend a little less and have somewhere to sleep. It’s a little far from the bars and restaurants I’d say a 15 minute walk. There is a beach right in front of the building that’s very nice. No breakfast but they make coffee and put out fruit and snacks. I don’t think the bad reviews are warranted here, really great stay.

Room was fine until the second to last day WiFi going off and on the bathroom light didn't come on and housekeeper don't understand to much English so it was a challenge to get towels everyday also the front gate can be tricky water temp was was too hot !

I enjoyed my stay very much. The location is nice and walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, not to mention Isla Verde beach. Also right off the interstate. Very convenient. I had absolutely no issues finding the apartments and parking was never an issue as mentioned in some of the reviews. Entering the apartments was also very easy. I just followed the instructions I received the day I arrived. The room was clean, obviously it’s not your Marriott or Hilton or whatever, but the bed was very cozy and had Netflix available. I enjoyed my stay very much. Will most def recommend and return. Thank you, Aura House. Blessings all the way from Nebraska, USA.

The bed was completely broken in the main bedroom, so much so that it wasn’t sleepable (the whole center was resting on the ground, where the frame was obviously broken beneath, with the head and feet elevated on the frame). There was also only 1 available functional outlet (the wifi one also worked, but we didn’t want to unplug that), and the lighting was incredibly dim. It was clean and close to the airport, so it worked well for convenience, but as far as what we got for the cost, we were disappointed. We specifically picked it because we needed the 3 beds for our family and my husband and I ended up needing to share beds with our children. When I reported the issue, they just said they’d let the property manager know the bed was broken.

This hotel is self check in. If you are staying in the apartments, remember that you are in a separate building and you don't have access to the coffee or the rooftop lounge that is in Aura House. No biggie because my family didnt come to spend time in our room. The hotel is within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and nightlife. There is a really cool skate park up the road with a beautiful seaside view. If you are lucky enough to stay in Apartment B, you will be serenaded to sleep by the sweetest little Coqui. If you try to copy his whistle, he will just get louder and chirp faster lol. Be mindful that PR is in a water crisis. You very well may come back to your room and find NO running water. There is a supermarket right down the road. Just go and get yourself a few gallons until the next water delivery. If you come here with an entitled attitude, you will be disappointed. But if you come to Puerto Rico with an open mind and respect for the locals, you will feel right at home. I can't wait to come back! Wepa!

Pictures were NOTHING what it looked like they said it was three normal beds when it was two beds and a pull out it was impossible to get ahold of housekeeping for any reason overall I would NOT SUGGEST EVER GOING TO STAY THERE !

Unfortunately the room didn't look like the photos, so they must not have put the photo of the unit we got on their website or listing. It was just a bed and walls, no decor, no charm even the furniture on the rooftop was different / lacking. There was no smoking signs up but a chair outside our unit and multiple people during our stay were smoking in that chair. Tiny bugs flying inside the unit not just around sink drain but on and around beds. My daughter got bit multiple times in her bed. No where to put your suitcase, as I said no decor just beds, not even a chair. People constantly yelling down hallway and because our door didn't fit doorway (you could literally see outside through bottom) we could hear everything. The common area space never had water in the hot/cold water dispenser, even after notifying the worker. Just unfortunate...won't rebook again.

The first room,rm#11 had foul oder ,making me and especially my wife nauseous, the second rm rm#12 has loose door hinges making very difficult to close the ,doorhad to lifted up to closeit.and beside all I was bombed with text about you not receiving the fee when i had already payed because no there communicated to each other .eventually after my bank em a iled you my receipt a text came saying let see if the person responsible to check is on it..Maybe if that person responsible was on from the begining i wouldn't have harassed for your pay.God bless and learn how to write copious note so everyone stays on yhe same page.

This facility is terrible all around.
To be transparent It my last option.
I have stayed in motels many times , but this place really takes the cake ..... previous reviews did not portray the worst of the facility well enough.
1- terrible customer service. No one to talk to about issues only a text number.
2- the room had dirt and filth of previous occupants when I checked in.
3- shower was not working on my first night . Naturally I texted the number several hours later the person responded back its the whole facility and they are looking into it.
Water was restored next night.
4- the ac was stuck at blasting and the reomte did not function. The cleaning crew showed up at 930 am to tell me how to use a remote in broken English.
When used the traslator app to explain to them the remote dont work . She says let me show you. Basically it took three different remote to restart the ac unit.
The room has zero place to sit. No chairs no table. Only one bed and a night stand.
No parking in the facility.
I cant describe the horror of this facility for the two night I stayed.

The room was pretty decent and very clean. The shower was nice. My issue stemmed from the wifi not working in our room at all, which forced me to use a hotspot on my phone to even use the television. Also there was a lack of staff on premises except in the morning for cleanup.
