It was a lovely place to stay! The staff was very kind, I loved the jacuzzi and how close it is to the beach! Would stay here again. Only thing is it would be nice to have a hot breakfast or more regularly stocked snacks if possible.

I was just an overnight stay. The room was narrow, but all I needed was a bed and a shower. The step up from the bedroom to the bath should be highlighted; I hit it a couple of times with my toe before I started remembering to step up. I was surprised to see the top sheet folded on top of the blanket. I had to strip off the blanket and put the top sheet on the bed myself.

Worst travel experience of my life. Plumbing broke on the trip 2 days in and no one was available to speak to. No one on site and no response via phone or social media. Had to spend more money on another accommodation for the rest of the trip. Still have yet to hear from this place and Expedia tried to reach out. Would absolutely not recommend this place please save yourselves from it. I can’t express how truly awful this place was and hope they will eventually reach out. They had no record or check in and have not even heard from them post original check out time. We had not heard from them for check in info and boarded flight without knowing if we’d have access to the property. We finally got someone on the phone at midnight on our check in day and they said they had never fully checked in someone before. Very unorganized. Avoid at all costs.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy and quiet room. We stayed for six days and couldn’t beat the price. We would definitely return again. The location is absolutely amazing, right next to the beach and filled with fantastic restaurants.

It was amazing experience. It is self service but everything you need is there. Rooftop had a hot tub and was so lovely! I loved the common area. It is close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend. We took Lyft from the airport and was super easy!

Doing a review so the owners can maybe be do a few things that would be better for their visitors. First big complaint is a lot of people from the states do smoke/ cigs/weed unfortunately, and maybe having a section with chairs would be nice on the ground level. Standing out the gates by the street with smokers sitting on the curb looks seedy for your establishment. Even if they put chairs out by the corner dumpster would be acceptable with an ashtray so no pollution of butts. Second, room 11 bathroom needs to be redone as it smells of mold and fish. That wasn’t the biggest problem, the air conditioner did not work. On the roof top someone hopped the side and took a huge poop lmao. Maybe a bathroom on the roof? Thankfully the wonderful host changed our room and everything after that was wonderful! Except I put my bathing suit to dry on the rail outside and it was stolen. I looked Everywhere to see if it was blown away and no avail. We asked the neighbors if it blew into his yard and no. They do have cameras to check, but I did not get closure. Thank god I brought another. They could have looked at the cameras. Other than the few mishaps.. this is a wonderful place to stay. Clean! The staff was very nice! Text the owner and they will answer within a hour. We had almost 4 people ask us for help due to some issues but we gave them the number and they were assisted!

Overall stay was great, clean property, clean room. Has A/C and free wifi available. Perfect location. Less than 5 min walk to the nearest beach, 15-20min uber ride to old San Juan, La Playcita was a 7min ride away as well. Tea/coffee with biscotti are available in the \"lobby\" area, and if I needed anything extra i was able to get in contact with staff through whatsapp. My only issue was that the bathroom floor constantly was wet due to the shower and it not having a full door. Absolutely loved my stay, definitely will be returning.

The room was clean. There were two issues: first, due to poor lighting, it was hard to find the actual building where the room was, as opposed to the official property address. Had we arrived during the day, it would have been easier.
Secondly, the mini fridge was disconnected upon arrival, therefore, there was a huge puddle inside the room upon entering. There was no mop or anything for us to clean up the mess. We were fortunate that there were beach towels provided, which we used to contain the puddle to an area.

The humble room was clean and in a good location, would have been fine if it weren't for the water also completely cut out on the second night of our stay. We opted to get a day pass to a spa in part just to shower. It was not the property's fault, as a water line in the area had burst. However, even before this event the water pressure was very weak.

Overall, the stay was good for what you pay. The bathroom situation was definitely not ideal. The shower did not have a door nor a curtain long enough, so every time someone took a shower the bathroom would flood. The only other complaint would be that the ceiling was leaking in a couple of places every time it would rain.

Overall the rooms were nice but the showers had low water pressure and the soap dispensers did not function well. Additionally, the doors to the rooms are not sound proof and everything can be heard in the hallways. We were hoping for a restful night and got a room in the quiet zone but we were awoken multiple times in the night by people talking and walking in the hallways.

Property was obstructed in general by trees. Property located in a very congested neighborhood. We were not able to access the property because the property manager claimed that we were at the wrong building and that was why we couldn’t access it. However, I sent them the confirmation email that specifically had the address that we were at. My 81 year old mother was with me and was not feeling well. I needed to get her into a place and in bed. We wasted time going back and forth with the property manager with no help. Ultimately we left the property and rented another property so that my mom could rest before our flight home

the place was terrible and nothing like the pictures. they didn’t even properly clean the floors. dead bugs in the corners, behind the toilet, under the bed, dust and dirt everywhere, etc. it was disgusting. even after housekeeping came again they did not clean it. also so much stuff is broken. the couch is barely holding on by a piece of wood. the left door of cabinet with the wifi router is broken. the pots and pans are old and not even usable. other than that, we had to deal with waking up every single day earlier than we wanted to because the housekeeping lady would not stop screaming while she is outside. for some reason whoever decided to design this building put the bedrooms right next to the main walkway and there are barely any solid windows other than a few pieces of glass panels and a screen. so also whenever any neighbors would pass by, we would wake up. we would hear loud noises from everyone at all times during the day. if you want to come here be prepared for a disgusting environment and the inability to sleep or even just rest because of all the noise.

Stay away from this place, it’s true about the reviews. The rooms smell horrible, like sewage. The toilets are not even properly caulked/sealed at the bottom of the toilets. Maybe that’s where the smells are coming from. Pictures don’t match the ones on the there website. Front door of the room are not even covered at the bottom which means flies can come in from under. I nicely messaged the property owner if we can change into a different room. No reply. After 2 hours I made decision and booked with a different hotel. “Tropical Beach Hotel” which was like a 6min drive further down isla verde. 5/5 stars! Highly recommend! Please do make the same mistake we did, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. We also did not get refunded.

I stayed at this property (although under a new name now) in 2024 and, based on my experience, opted to stay here again.
Pros:
- Perfect location. Close to nightlife, a beautiful beach, 787 Coffee, and restaurants, etc, but also feels tucked away.
- Beautiful trees and outside decor make it feel like an oasis.
- It's gated, so you can walk around the building/compound like it's an extension to your room.
- There are two hot tubs on the roof - awesome little kickback area with great views and privacy
- Cold AC, comfy bed, amazing pillows (like amazing).
- Staff was friendly and phenomenal - my room flooded (I think the seal on the toilet was leaking) - they not only fixed it, but they cleaned the entire room in just over an hour, I think. They were SO sweet and kind - seriously the BEST little crew.
Cons:
- I wish there were a table or a dresser in the room, but that's minor and won't stop me from staying again lol
- Parking is a pain, but if you time it right, you can get a spot with no problem

I plan to visit the island regularly - I might even stay for a few months soon. This will 100% be my go-to spot. Hopefully my review doesn't mess with my ability to lock in dates LOL

Hello, I wanted to reach out regarding a few issues we experienced upon arrival. The main door code did not work, and we spent about 7 minutes trying to unlock it before we were finally able to get in.
Additionally, there is very limited lighting in the kitchen, and the air conditioning unit in the larger room does not appear to be working, making the house quite hot and uncomfortable.
Given that I paid nearly $350 for one stay, I’m disappointed with these issues.

I would describe our experience as conflicting. Upon arrival, the room appeared clean and pleasant; however, there was a strong odor, reminiscent of a decomposing animal, coming from the air conditioning, and we encountered small gnats (midges) inside. We also experienced poor water pressure, a sentiment echoed by other guests we met in the common area.
Since there is no on-site staff, it took approximately 2.5 hours to get in touch with a representative and facilitate a room change. While we truly appreciate the upgrade to a larger, comfortable room and found the cleaning staff very helpful the next day, the new room still had several maintenance issues, such as a falling bedroom shelf, a damaged bathroom door and shower rod, and damaged cabinets.
It would be ideal for management to invest time in property maintenance, as many of the physical damages are not reflected in the website’s advertisements.

I had a really disappointing experience staying here. From the moment we arrived, basic amenities were either missing or not working, and it took multiple follow-ups to get any kind of response.

We requested simple necessities like towels and toilet paper, along with help for WiFi issues and a broken air conditioner. Despite being told someone would come, no one ever showed up to fix these problems. Communication was slow and inconsistent.

The most frustrating issue was losing running water entirely. Our toilet, shower, and sink all stopped working, which made the space essentially unlivable. While we were told it was an “island-wide issue,” there was no urgency or proactive solution offered for guests. We had to repeatedly reach out just to get updates, and even then, timelines were missed (we were told someone would arrive at 9am, but they didn’t).

Although the staff acknowledged the issues and apologized, the lack of follow-through and delayed action made the situation extremely frustrating. At a minimum, guests should expect reliable communication and timely solutions when essential utilities are affected.

Overall, the experience felt poorly managed, and I would not recommend staying here unless there are major improvements in responsiveness and maintenance.

This is self check-in. I would have appreciated knowing that our room was on the first floor. It looked like we had to go upstairs instead of around the building. Having mobility issues this was important for me. Maids were curt. I appreciated being able to store luggage (at our own risk) prior to 3pm check-in. Room looked pretty nice.

When you go to the site to book it states two queen beds in one room and a king bed in the other.. not true when you get there it’s two king beds. I was going with two older ladies. Plus the pictures are nothing what you find when you arrive.. it’s runned down and we didn’t feel safe. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. They wouldn’t work with us and they argued with me even though I sent photos of what I saw while booking. Very disappointing and not in a safe area. No food places around either.

This was my worst stay experience of my life! The room was not ready when they messaged us it was. So we dropped bags and left. Upon return and inspection the unit looked nothing like what was portrayed online. The room was dirty, in disrepair; doorknob hanging off the bathroom door, loose partially falling off electrical outlet, hair and other debris on the beds, stains and white mystery crust on the couch I could keep going and have the pictures to prove it! The staff were no help and were stalling a solution and it was getting late and we could not risk waiting and not finding a safe clean place to stay with our child we were traveling with. This really ruined our last night of vacation as we spent the late afternoon into evening dealing with the do nothing unprofessional staff who made things about them getting offended about our reaction to them renting out a room that was not fit to stay in unless you are a squatter crack head! They are scammers that like to play with people’s time and money on their vacation! They will not refund my money after Inpaid $160 and had to pay an additional $240 for a last minute place to stay. We will see how Expedia handles this since they allow this sub par place to list on their platform putting people hard earned vacation at risk of inconvenience and ruin!

This place was interesting to say the least. While I had no problems checking in every time I went to the lobby they were frustrated people who had absolutely no way to get in their room and I had to share the number that I had three times to help them get checked in. I was basically the front desk for them that day. The Wi-Fi barely worked in my room. I could barely load a music video and the AC was unable to get changed to anything lower. Besides that the room and beds were fine and the bathroom is nice. The Jacuzzi was small and a bit dirty but it’s still worked and that was a nice plus. I’ll probably go somewhere else next time.
